Blessings Everyone, Yes ,JTC it is true that is happening and it is of course exactly for the reasons our Brother Fez has described,you can turn on the Discovery Channel or Nat Geo(even Animal Planet ) & learn all about it....of course the reasons why are pretty obvious(except for the chimps)but that was not my point really....the Bible does not & need not give the reasons for these poor animals(wild beasts) attacking,the point is they are......I do not see the 4th seal being opened(or any yet)but I really do believe we are beginning to feel (or see) the birth pains of the beginning of sorrows(but that is clearly off topic) Perhaps Brother Fez knows about the natural reserve incident with the chimpanzees(although all the experts cannot give an explanation for this horrific occurance)A couple of chimps got riled up & began attacking & mutilating a group of men passing through,inciting the other chimps & it was an all out chase for miles,will intent to kill...the entire troupe went ape(no pun intended)...anyway I do believe it was territorial as chimpanzees are very territorial creatures....I really don't remember much of the facts...Fez,I thought the most deaths in Africa was caused by the mosquito(but I guess thats not an animal or a wild beast-lol)But is that true? We can give explanations ,I am sure ,for all odd animal behavior...they are forced into these situations by man & act instinctively(survival)....even the mammals beached are attributed to sonar testing.....it is still strange to me not really because of the animals but because it is prophesied I do hope there isn't anyone that would frighten their children with adult conversations such as these"the sky is falling"? Dear Hindsfeet, It is so funny that you mentioned the strange behavior in animals,I was just reading in the Bible about the wild beasts attacking & at the same time there was a report of a mountain lion in captivity for many years that mauled & killed his keeper,this has become a frequent occurance lately & I noticed the tigers in India have seemingly started to consider man to be a food source as there are more & more attacks right in the villages.Oh,and look at the elephants wreaking havoc in Africa with no fear of man(have they suddenly realized their size & strength?Even the chimpanzee attacks for no apparent reason,like gangs out to get man with a vengeance!There are many strange things happening in the animal kingdom,it is well worth noticing With love,in Christ-Kwik

Jesus is the speaker in those verses and He cannot lie. SO if He said ALL those who believe would do all 5 of those things, then yes, I believe Jesus. I would never throw away a gift given to me by Jesus. And when He says what I would do as a Believer, I'm obliged to expect to walk in those things. If I gave you 5 million dollars, and you didn't use them, but let them sit dormant, would I then say you are only a half-Christian because you didn't use the money? No, you're still a Christian, it's just you didn't use what was available to you. If you were the Red Sox baseball team and you had Koji Uehara available to you to close the games, but you didn't use him, it would be a bad decision, but it's your decision. Would you end up winning the World Series, probably not. Would you still be a baseball team, yes. All I know is, if God says I would speak in tongues, then I'm going to do it. I do not know why anyone would turn that down, just reading the Scriptures. Anything offered you by God is going to be His will for your life and consequently good. In Jesus' own words, any Believer has the authority and ability to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues. AND*******For the 3rd time on here (because many people are posting without reading clearly): there is the GIFT of speaking in tongues (which goes hand in hand with the GIFT of understanding of tongues) to deliver a message to the local Body of Christ as Paul describes in 1 Cor, and SECONDLY, there is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (where Jesus said not many days from now I will baptize you with FIRE) and evidence was the speaking of tongues which He said ALL Believers had access to and it would be a sign that would follow them. I hope that's clear. What people are warring against on here is the gift of tongues as 1 of the 9 gifts, not the prayer language that Paul said he would sing in, praise in, speak in.

But you are right about the mosquito! It is the biggest killer on the planet when it comes to malaria.

I think it is important that you and everyone else here understand that there are three views regarding Daniel's 70th week where Daniel writes about the confirming the covenant. The three views about the 70th week are it is already fulfilled, partially fulfilled or not yet fulfilled.

Blessings firestormx. Could you go deeper into the 6th seal in Chapter 6. Where in scripture after 6th seal 'signs in the heavens', do people start to realize. How many seals do you think have been opened so far, or do you think the seven seals are to be open AFTER the antichrist is revealed? Wars, famine, martyrdom etc..have been happening for a while now. Do the seals refer to birth pains getting stronger and stronger, as in.........we ain't seen nothin' yet. I am referencing in chapter 6 where after the 6th seal opens, where the people start talking about, " hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne and his wrath " . It takes things getting to the 6th seal before people realize what's going on. I don't think any of the seals have opened yet. I also believe that the anti-Christ will be revealed at the mid-point of the 70th week. There have always been wars, but it don't mean the 2nd seal has always been opened. The 70th week has to begin first. Israel is the key. Watch Israel and study to show yourself approved as scripture states.

I believe all can do these things when led by the spirit. Jesus didn't do what he wanted to do, when he wanted to do it, speaking his own words. Jesus did what the father told him, when the father told him to do it, speaking the words the father said to say. I think the same applies to all of these things. If and when we get out on our own, then that is when we are wrong. All these things should and will happen through us when we follow the leading of God. That way it happens in his time, according to his will. I hope this makes sense to you.
