  3. well I am doing a Bible study through the book of 1st Peter in the Bible but that question came to me was in the 1st Peter commentary warren wiesbe book Be Hopeful. at the end of each chapter their are questions. the word appropriate Gods grace isnt used in scripture it had to do with the topic of how 1st Peter is about suffering and how when we suffer for godly living we glorify God it was discussing how grace and suffering and glory are themes throughout the book of 1st peter.

  5. Hi Kan Angels are spirit, not material. Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. A spirit is invisible. We cannot see them, or touch them. Material things can be seen and touched. Material things perish. Gods word is also spirit. His Word gives life. His Word was with him from the beginning, and came out of him. He can send his Word whereever he wants to, and make it appear however he likes, because his Word is spirit. He happened to later changed his Word into flesh. That is the man we know Jesus Christ. He is that same Word. He became flesh, and after his resurrection, returned to spirit. What ever he spoke, is God speaking. No man can come to God through any other word, only through Gods Word. If we believe on his Son whom he sent, then we know there's no confusion which God we serve, and he is that tree of life (spiritually speaking) He's not a real tree, but his fruit, which is truth, gives life. Thanks for that I agree with you, except my concept of spirit is that it is stronger than our matter. Matter of which we are made is weaker than angels, which can break steel like it were straw, and God is even stronger than anything He has made. Creation is more like a hologram by comparison. Angels are intangible to us, only because our material is not as strong. But our lack of discernment and contact, does not make them a puff of mist that floats around. And neither is God a ghost. The concept of spirit as a ghost comes from generations of man which have lost their intelligence about the unseen worlds. But as far as the terms spirit and material are commonly used, I agree with what you are saying. Hi Kan Thank you for explaining that. I agree with you..... not to be considered as ghosts, who float around doing nothing, or made of nothing, but created spirit. Intelligent created spirit creatures, made of a higher matter called spirit. On the resurrection of the saints, we will be made like them out of the same material. How exciting. God bless you.

  7. Our cat had the grasshopper eating technique down to a science. She would position them so that the legs fell off as she ate the body. I would often see her with legs hanging off each side of her mouth. Grasshoppers were all she could catch at the time to feed her hungry kittens and she prepared them without the legs. So, leaning upon her wisdom, I think I would eliminate the locusts' legs from my honey locust breakfast. Maybe a little lemon juice would add some tang. But you have given me another reason for not liking chili powder, even though chitin might make an excellent anti caking agent. By the way, are the flies a bonus or do they charge extra for them? Most open air markets are swarming with flies. And swarms of locusts or grasshoppers can decimate crops and any living greenery in no time, so cattle would be considered less harmful to the environment in my opinion.

  8. Man was not mad through procreation either. When you come down to the center of angels and man, we are no more than spirits. Man, however was created in His image, yet we are not told in what image the angels were created, so there is no real foundation to say their spirits are any different than ours. Yes, they do have a different purpose than we do, but I can find nothing claiming their spirit is any different than ours. Who is to say that when we leave this life, we will not be as the angels, though we will not be an actual angel since we were created for a different purpose? Can you provide scripture that the spirit of an angel is not mortal?
