  1. I would like to please request a prayer for my mom who is to be retrenched the end of this month (March '16). My mom has played both mom & dad role for the past 10 years to my younger sister & I- we lost my dad to cancer. My mom also battled cancer 3 years ago & thank God has been cancer-free since. We now are faced with my mom's retrenchment. I am still a student at university while my sister is in high school. If it's not too much to ask, may you please be so kind as to take the time to pray for us. I don't know where to turn to nor what to say to my mom to lessen the load. Any prayers will be gratefully accepted. Kind regards May God richly bless you all.

  2. Yes I did, and what I saw in the video's looked shockingly like the VooDoo dances I saw from people in Haiti back when I was involved in the occult. That was back in the late 70's and 80's. These people would dance themselves into a frenzy with the goal of being possessed by demons and letting them take over thier bodies..... looked just the same as the Bethel video.

  3. God finds you where you are. Our relationship with God truly begins when we ask God into our hearts. If you are have fallen into the deepest of depths where not even man can help, God can and will if He were called upon. God is the great salvager, He comes for those who are sick and in need of a physician. The bible say we ALL are sick in one way or another and in need of His salvaging us from our ills, whatever they may be. Every person written in the bible except for Christ Jesus, suffered with their own load of sin that needed salvation from. When sin goes untreated, it can take on a life of its own where we almost become a slave to the calling of that particular sin. Any form of sins is not good for the well being of our soul and our relationship with God. God loves the sinner but not the sin. As we seek a relationship with God, it should follow that we seek to do His will and follow His Word as a way to live. When we truly ask for repentance and have accepted Gods plan of Mercy and Grace through His only begotten Son Christ Jesus who came to buy us back from sins hold on us, we have begun a new way of life, that is a life with God in and involved in it God through His Plan of Mercy and Grace, Christ Jesus took all the sins of the world on Him and by the shedding of His blood for us, He became the sacrificial Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world for anybody who asks Him and He welcomes us with open arms and desires to have a relationship with us always. The redeeming Blood of Christ Jesus covers over our repented sins, washes them away , so we can be become new creations in Him and acceptable to one day re-unite with God in heaven. When we have repented through Gods plan of Mercy and Grace and have asked the Holy Spirit of God to come and make a home in our hearts, He comes into our hearts and begins the salvaging process, convicting our spirits to align with His and make us truly not want to go into the ways that lead us away from God. When one becomes saved, we still need the Holy Spirit of God to help heal, guide and clean us up.After repenting through the blood of Christ Jesus, we need to ask the Holy Spirit of God to come and make His home in our hearts. We all are babes in Christ when we first truly understand that we have sin in us that needs deliverance and repentance through Gods plan of salvation. By seeking a daily relationship with God, we receive His daily Word, His daily bread and grow up. For some the growing up is faster, for others its slower. The growing up process depends on how much we are trusting in God and his Word to be truth and trusting less and less in the ways of the world and the ways of our temptations. It very much becomes a two way relationship we need to cultivate with God, in order for this relationship to work. We need to keep communication lines open with Him always. God is always there to receive, but sometimes we choose to close down from God when our will takes precedence over Gods will. Surrendering to Gods will over our own will is a daily practice Gods desires for us to have with Him. His word says that He will never give us more than we can endure, and will always show us a way out of our temptations, if we seek Him in those times of temptation and place our trust in Him to see us passed those times of temptation, He will give us the strength we need to overcome what we need to overcome. Just we have to trust enough in Him to allow ourselves to let go of holding on to our temptations. There is such a thing as oppressive spirits that can linger on in us after we have become saved through Gods plan of Mercy and Grace. God can deliver us from these oppressive spirits, but we need to ask God to help remove them from us. Understanding Gods will for us, comes to reality in proportion to how much we are willing to let go and follow Him. Never give up asking God to deliver you from what you believe to be going against Gods true will for your life. If any of our behaviors are not aligning with Gods will for us, we need to keep asking God to help us with overcoming those behaviors. God does not want us in a state of sins, He wants us in a state of peace of mind that aligns with His Will and Word. With every deliverance from a particular sin we have had to deal with, a new peace from God comes into us with also a greater understanding once that sin has been properly overcome. We can have more than one sin in us to overcome and some are strongholds, but God is willing to help us always to find the way out of the struggle and into His peace. Do you believe this? Some say they believe but their trusting in God is week. Christ Jesus could not heal some from his home town, not because He could not, but rather because they could not believe in Him to be able to help and heal them. A willing heart toward God is what is required for God to be able to help us, help and free us from the bondage's of sin. How much are we truly willing to place our faith=faithfulness in Him and His Word, and trust that He can and will take care of us and deliver us from any particular situation in our lives that is troubling us . Step by step, trusting in Him and never ever giving up on trusting in Him is the way out of all those sin bondages , whose sole purpose is to keep us away from Gods Understanding, Peace and full Will for our lives. I am not writing words at you I am writing words with you and me in mind to Gods Love and Mercy and Grace and deliverance for us all. The clean up in my life has been a long and at times slow process, but God has delivered me from certain sin bondage's and with every deliverance has come a greater understanding, a kind of waking up. Once you become woken up from the sin that had a hold on you, you see that sin for what it is, the desire to go back to that sin becomes less and less until it becomes something foreign to you. Never give up on trusting God and His love and healing that He wants so very much for your life. John 10:10 "The thief only comes to steal, kill and destroy, God wants that we have life and life more abundantly" = that means more free from sin and more aligned to His word. God Bless and keep you in Christ Jesus; 1to3

  4. True. But once we believe, we must behave differently. Saul of Tarsus is a good example. He was preaching Christ within days of his conversion.

  5. Ministers of righteousness will ever more keep that issue of sins on the table of God’s justice. They will continually want us to do this and stop doing that, in order to keep God happy with us when the reality is: God couldn’t be any happier with us than he is; Christ having taken our sin debt upon himself, and we having trusted what happened where our sins are concerned. Sin is gone as far as the judicial aspect of sin from God’s vantage point. It is taken care of once and for all! People will suffer the second death not because of the sins God’s son pain for. They will suffer the second death because they have never been clothed with the righteousness of Christ. They have kept sin on the table of God’s justice their entire lifetimes and sat under ministers of righteousness who have led the way. Dispensing the message of that new program would not begin until Paul received the revelations necessary to do the dispensing. So, the dispensing of the message did not come when Paul was converted, but we know for a fact, that Paul was judicially joined to Christ at the point of his belief.

  6. No. Actually "must" means repentance and conversion, not salvation by works. Please note (Luke 24:47): And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

  7. That's right. Another way to put it is that the physical race of Israel is a bloodline, and "the soul of the flesh is in the blood." Lev. 17:11 So Israel and all the other nations are soul-lines, that is, collective soul-bodies. Whereas the Church is a spiritual body, in which resides souls from all nations.

  9. Not wanting to get too specific about the details of my own experience, let me just say when one comes into the Presence, one becomes TOTALLY EXPOSED. All of your supposedly secret thoughts and deeds are revealed, and that can be a fearsome thing. Isaiah 6:5 So I [Isaiah] said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.” Rev. 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. ... 6:16 ...and said... “hide us from the Face of Him who sits on the throne..." Luke 12:2 “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops." And that should be a fearsome thing, even to every believer who trusts in Christ. (Consider how many of the topics on Worthy have been shut down for ill-speaking, for example. )

  10. And these - Zechariah 4:7 - Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Daniel 2:45 - Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. Amos 4:1 - Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink. Amos 6:1 - Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!

  13. He shure placed this woman in time. John 4. 27 [This was just when] His disciples came back, and they were [shocked] to find Him talking with [that] woman. However, no one [them said, what they had been thinking] “[How dare] You talk to her?” 28 Then the woman [ran] into the city and began telling [many] people, 29 “Come, see [this] man … Can this be the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed)?” 30 [This way] the people... were coming to Him. 39 Now many … believed and trusted Him (in only two days v. 43). They said: 42 we have heard Him for ourselves and know [with confident assurance] that this One is truly the Savior of [all] the world. What was the focus of Jesus than? Jh 4.35 “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to completely finish His work.“ did HE not dare this unexpected talk? The spirit is on us. So we might be led – to dare similar. Take courage and a lot of time, talking to [most unexpected] people also.

  14. I made this YouTube about my favorite American. My hope is to be a teacher someday and see how Providence and the hand of God guides people to their destiny. In Andy J I see God's favoritism for america. It gives me hope that God will not allow America to destroy itself entirely, and He will make us victorious. I believe Andrew Jackson and the souls of many who have fought for America are in heaven praying for this nation, and we can win another nationwide Battle of New Orleans , for the glory of God. He is sort of like a King David of America. His victory was so miraculous one must search the old testament to find another like it. If you have any other interesting facts about Andrew Jackson or any other historical figures please let me know :-)

  15. So I have always really struggled with why myself and so many other Christians seem to be so fragile, unstable, and so weak, when we have the God who created the universe dwelling within us. It is also very discouraging to see how divided Christians are and that if we all have the same God dwelling within us and guiding us, why are we so divided? Aren't we all supposed to have one mind and heart, the mind and heart of Jesus Christ? I'm also very discouraged with how often i fall into depression and have no energy , when God is infinite energy, and he lives within me . Anyhow, it doesn't look like the answer to these questions will be fully realized anytime soon but this scripture verse really helps me with that: 2 cor 12 Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan,to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." So what are your thoughts on that statement, when I am weak then I am strong? When he says he finds pleasure in weakness, infirmity, insults, and difficulties, I wonder if those things really gave him pleasure? Is anybody else here delighted to experience suffering?

  16. My mortal flesh has been quickened directly proportional to the measure of the Spirit I am given at any time. As such my spiritual experiences have varied. One such experience is self described as pure pleasure as if I had been transfigured on the mount with Christ. Today my flesh is tired and weak because I have only slept a total of 5 1/2 hours or so in two days but tge Spirit is carrying me through the night. Empowering me to continue though my flesh is protesting. What a glorious feeling to be enabled to continue on though the flesh has quit! My flesh is animated and powered by the Spirit. When I am not full of the Spirit I yearn for it like an alcoholic without the booze that powers him. The Spirits absence feels like death and depression so I call upon the name of the Lord for more. And as evil men know how to give good gifts unto their children who ask so does my father give the Spirit unto all them who ask of him!

  21. Did anyone note in that 4 minute video on page 2 "Bill Johnson and the New Age" these few the statements? Quoting from the 4 minute A Strom "Bill Johnson and the New Age" video in italics with a few thoughts and interjections following: :49- 1:15 min mark -A Strom stating: "What really concerns us (and me!) is whats going on behind the scenes at Bethel." Snaps to Bethel youth on bus: -"This is what a bunch of DRUNK Bethel students look like." As they were all "drunk in the spirit(s)." They all appeared to all have at least a fifth of whiskey in them on that bus. And God is glorified by this how? -A. Strom stating: "All of this footage comes from within Bethel itself. Obviously as you can see their inter-spreading this drunkenness anointing just like the others we've looked at" Camera scans as people lay around on the floor, one "oh my god,"(blasphemy of our Lord) possessed of spirits of drunkenness, moaning, mad cackling, and debauchery? Can we honestly in light of Scripture show where we glorify God The Holy Spirit while looking like this? -The scene of Mrs. Beni Johnson mentioning her (New Age) reflexology, or her the picture of herself that she put out lying down on a grave while "soaking on CS Lewis grave." This is a form of necromancy. And it is found in the Word of God in a very bad sinful light... -A Strom stating and showing accompanying pictures: "These are student from Bethel School of ministry and they've been photographed around the world lying on the graves of dead Christian leaders... Theres a teaching in some of these circles that you can soak up the anointing by lying on their graves." -A Strom stating with picture of Bill Johnson: "Here's Bill Johnson himself at the grave of the wife of Smith Wigglesworth..." -A Strom speaking with picture of the book The Physics of Heaven: "In 2012 the Bethel crowd put out this book: "The Physics of Heaven" and the subtitle says it all. "Exploring god's Mysteries of Sound, Light, Energy, Vibrations, and Quantum Physics." Many Christian leaders when they read this book said "It was one of the most New Age things they'd ever seen." The contents are unbelievable, just the chapter headings alone are proof enough. "Vibrating in Harmony with god," "The god Vibration," "Dolphin Therapy," Quantum mysticim" Goes on to show a few more chapters in the book with a picture. Here they are: 13. Your Quantum Leap-David Van Koveringwith With sub chapters *Popping Qwiffs, **Mind Over Matter 14. A Whole Latta Shaking Going On. With sub chapters "Your Body is an Electromagnetic Field" & "Sensing Magnetic Field" 15. The Clarion Call -- Beni Johnson 16. Pulling Into Today --Bill Johnson -A Strom: "This DEEPLY NEW AGE BOOK is still sold on the Bethel website to this day. After all, that's who it's come from." Folks, I can find no reference to the Holy Spirit in the Bible having His people behaving drunk, hysterical laughing, twitching, jerking, eyes fluttering and rolling back in their head, screaming, slithering along the floor, laying all over each other on the floor, being thrown back violently, (and other times not so violently while being "slain") as being "The Holy Ghost." I have personally seen this myself in other "churches," while not being a participant of this madness done in the name of The Holy Spirit. A number of references of the same are in the Bible as people being possessed by evil spirits, NOT the Holy Spirit. Bill Johnson and his Bethel church appears to be rather "huge," with quite a bit to sell. At the time of this writing, the "Bethel Store" products page still had the wicked New Age book "The Physics of Heaven." From their site: "More About The Physics of Heaven Read what some of the most beloved leaders in the Christian charismatic movement have to say as they explore the mysteries of God hidden in sound, light, vibrations, frequencies, energy, and quantum physics and they share their insights into how God may use these different expressions of creation to usher us into the fullness of Pentecost." ------------------------------ *Popping Qwiffs are: As per the New Ager David Van Koevering: "Superstrings are tiny donut shaped packets of energy that spin at a frequency - or sing as in a pitch. None of this is real in this dimension because they exist only in a state of possibilities until someone observes them. Then, at that observation, the potential becomes a thing - a particle or a wave. This quantum wave collapse, caused by observation, is called popping a qwiff. This is your first step to taking a quantum leap. You can see or observe a God qwiff (something God shows you that is not yet real in this dimension) and, by observing or popping that qwiff, cause that potential to become your reality. Be careful what you see; you are going to get it! Be careful what you say; you will get that, too!" **Mind Over Matter Largely based on cultist "Christian Science" teachings founded by Mary Baker Eddy. Her "mind over matter" heretic Gnostic gospel has made her and others in this corner large amounts of money. More info on Christian Science: https://carm.org/what-does-christian-science-teach

  22. Faith is a gift. Ask God to give you the faith to not doubt that he hears you, and it will make prayer less burdensome. A lot of people think faith is a choice or exercise of the will , but it actually is a gift from God, and there is little we can do to increase our faith. We can start by asking God for more. What helped me pray was writing all my petitions down and reciting them in Jesus name, for verbal declarations, blessings, and petitions in Jesus name have power.

  23. FresnoJoe Thank you my brother for teaching me with a handful of others here about the Old Testament and Israel. A few links you have shared with me with your love of Israel and our conjoined abhorrence at the rising antisemitism that is once again spreading across the world. These links you have shared with me in the past sell "books" and have "conferences" too my brother, and are likely not getting rich, any more than my brother Warren B. Smith is. Hopefully they making a living, yes, but making a killing by the love of money, no. Want a "free" look at the tract pamphlets "in there entirety" of Warren B. Smiths? Click on any one of them here from the site you provided: http://warrenbsmith.com/booklets.htm And read them in there entirety on the next opening page where it says: "Click here to read the content of this Booklet Tract" Perhaps read a few and show us doctrinally where they are outside of God's Word? Should you like the pamphlets, they can be bought also. Not many ministries do that these days that I'm aware of. This publisher is one of two publishers of Warren B. Smith's work. They are not making a killing as your words suggest, but a living, and getting out some much needed expounding on God's Word with the authors they publish for. Weeping? Do you know he has not? Have you read any of his books to determine if he has: "Kiss (Kissed) Off The Words Of The LORD While They Seem, To Desire To Kick Out, The Holy Ghost , So They Can Write More Books" Do you KNOW he has done those things? If not, does this not border on slander by your insinuating this? In my reading of Warren Smiths books, I would say he believes in the both the natural and spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit, as outlined in the Bible. The same way all of the Body of Christ should! John 15:26 But when the Comforter (Holy Spirit) is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, (Father God) even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of Me:(Jesus Christ) -The Holy Spirit testifies of Jesus Christ. The Bible/Word represents Jesus Christ. Anything the Holy Spirit speaks or does testifies of Jesus Christ and His Word the Bible, and Christ is always glorified. Anything we hear or see done outside of the boundaries of that Word does not come from God, no matter how good the words or works/manifestations seem to be!

  24. Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebr.12:2 If we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, we are encouraged because we know He is faithful and will be with us until the end. We can claim all the promises we have in Him. All the things we have to suffer now (is not pleasant) but it is nothing close to what Jesus suffered when He died on the cross for you and me. 25. God is listening. I was an atheist, and last year...Jesus led me back to faith. LED ME. I wasn't interested in coming back on my own. Jesus is alive, and He is truly listening. I believe that we must just stay steadfast in the Word of God, and in prayer...and we will see the fruits of that prayer. But, you have to be paying attention, for God always gives us what we need, not necessarily always what we think we need.

But I have been really blessed, because God sent me a wonderful believer( husband), who does seem to like to listen to me...and I do like to talk! The Lord is certainly teaching me a lot right now, but it is so hard adjusting emotionally....not having the daily interaction.

    1 point
  34. What is heaven? Another question would be: "What is heaven compared to earth?" In our life on this planet we are bound to the natural laws or in other terms: We are limited within time space and matter and so is our logic. Sitting on clouds and playing the harp is not exactly the description of heaven given in the bible, but I get your objection. Eternity seems to be the definition of a really long time and that appears to include a bunch of boredom. What am I supposed to do with that much time? This track of thought contains a major error. As already indicated: time is in fact a ristriction that does not exist in heaven. When the bible talks about "eternity" (or what's translated with eternity from the greek), it means the liberation from natural laws and restrictions such as time space and matter. We'll be spirit just like angels (that does not mean that we will be angels) and we'll also be in the presence of God, which is only possible when we are without terrestrial limitations. Somebody who's entering Heaven will receive a new body (a non terrestrial form). There are a lot of pictures given in the bible describing what heaven looks like. But trying to describe what heaven looks like with our limited minds is more than difficult. Just imagine to be without the existence of time space and matter, imagine to live without restrictions. The possibilities are unlimited, the beauty of live is indescribable and you may realise, anything else but boring. How do I know that I'll go there? Nobody is perfect. But more important: Nobody can make himself perfect. Heaven is a place of perfection and humans are not without failure. Does this mean nobody can go to heaven because everybody is a sinner? The answer is: "yes, nobody can", because we can't make our own way into heaven. At this point God is offering us forgiveness, the chance to become pure and perfect as human used to be in the garden of Eden. He want's to take our sin so that we have a chance to be in his presence. Imagine you're a hole and you can't get out with your own strengh. God is reaching down to you offering his hand to pull you out. You can choose to take his hand knowing that you'll get out or you can debate the existence of a God and rejecting his offer. Salvation is a matter of faith. If you agree and confess to God that you're a sinner, that's your first step. You're realising that you're stuck in a hole and that you can't get out by yourself. English is not my native language, so I'm sorry for grammar or spelling mistakes. Best regards Sören

  36. I would love to go to the chat room but I think fairly slowly and examine everything I'm going to type. Some one would have to wait all day to get my response....it would be all over Worthy....who is that person in chat that takes an hour to say hi.

  37. Thank you all for your response. I would like to respond to each and every post because they are so heartfelt and thought provoking...but that would take much time and space....SOOO...thank you all! I would like to say that I do believe that when we truly accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, really repent, and trust Him with our life.....we cannot be lost, or in other words He will not and cannot lose us. I do wonder sometimes though.....what about the seed that grows, and then the plant is strangled by worldly cares and this could be the situation of some people that are alcoholics that try to self medicate to help them cope in life. Were these individuals not sincere enough when they first accepted Christ or were they actually saved and God will bring them back into obedience? I guess it could be either way........All I know is...PRAISE THE LORD AND THANK HIM FOR LOVING US!!! Because I know I could not make it a step without Him, or even live without Him! I will be seeing my brother this coming weekend and these posts made me even more determined to show him patience and love......the love of Jesus Christ.

  38. Read the letters in the NT. Read the messages from Yahshua in ((specifically)) the first 3 chapters of His Revelation to John. Read all of Yahweh's message to His people. Read the description of ekklesia in the NT, everywhere. Lukewarm doesn't make it. Like the 5 virgins without oil. Like those invited to the feast, who found an excuse not to go. Like the timid, the fearful, the thieves and adulterers and idolators. Yahweh warns everyone and gives clear WORD in Scripture who won't inherit heaven. And He clearly states over and over who will inherit heaven. Who will, and who won't. He does not get them mixed up. His WORD is very clear. Remember when people did not have a choice ? When the whole world was lost, corrupt, defiled, pernicious without Christ ? How did Yahweh do what HE DID in ACTS ? etc. ((EPHESIANS, PHILIPPIANS, 1 JOHN, et al)) How did anyone become one with the disciples, in union with Yahshua in Yahweh ? Same TODAY. ((and the CLEAR DESCRIPTION IS STILL IN THE NT, through and through)).

  39. Hi Dennie, Don't just pick out one verse and try and figure out what it means. Read the whole chapter and I think you will have your questions answered. And by the way use any version of the Bible that makes you comfortable. I like the New King James Version, it's easy to understand and read. We will be glad to help you. Blessings RustyAngeL

  42. Can an alcoholic be a Christian? If a Christian is defined as a follower of Jesus, then anyone who is in bondage to this world can follow Jesus. The sins in our lives hurt us more than anything else. Our sins prevent us from connecting with God as He wants connection. If someone is addicted to alcohol and he is making progress to overcome the alcoholism, then his heart has a real love for the Lord, more so than for the alcohol which is a physical addiction. Do we have to become perfect before we can follow Jesus, or is it that our Lord is at work perfecting us with daily little steps? If we confess our daily sins before Him, He is faithful to forgive us our sins. The purpose of this forgiveness is to set us free to hopefully move closer in our hearts toward our Creator who created us not for destruction, but for life. So, look to what progress you are making and don't get utterly discouraged when you fall. Everyday has a new beginning with God, a fresh new start with Him, that you might become the loving person that is His design for all of us.

  43. Jesus came to heal the sick and afflicted. We are all sinners and in need of His healing. Jesus can heal alcoholics, just like He can heal anyone. The alcoholic needs to open his heart, however...to receive Jesus's invitation of love. But, the interesting thing is, even if he doesn't...Jesus loves us enough to chase us. I was an atheist, and He never left me, and so I know that He never leaves anyone. An alcoholic might be struggling with things that no one knows about, and has an addiction that he/she prays to God about, every single night. So, no one should judge another person's walk with Christ...for, we don't know the battles they are dealing with, nor do we know how often he/she comes to Christ in prayer with their struggles.

  44. Yes, as I heard it put, God meets us where were at but He refuses to leave us there. Once saved we should be as Christ. When we become a submitted vessel Jesus can be Himself through us. Praise Him for His Mercy and Grace.

  46. I dont know that I agree with this poll. My state came in 27th. According to this article, 53% of residents are highly religious. But my state has a high population of mormons. They are religious, but they are not Christians. This poll is more about those who are religious no matter what they believe, rather than those who are Christian.

  47. Yes. you get what i was saying:) also it was will you be a martyr or bow before an idol was my context. The death was speaking of is martyrdom for Christ. People imagine themselves in pride dieing instead of bowing for the mark of the beast. But, we are warned in that day, God will give those who did not love the truth over to self deception. So if you are not a lover of truth in that day of martyrdom you will not see your compromise. People will deny the mark is the mark spoken of in the bible.

  48. OK, I was so bad that I would argue with my standardized tests because I could think of exceptions to most answers. Now kids must ascribe to Obama's version of history in his state authorized curriculem. We are a carbon copy of Germany in the 30s and 40s. By the way, 1 John goes on to define His Commandments. 1 John 3:23 NKJV And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the Name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

  49. Indeed it does. How could healing not be in the atonement, when Scripture specifically says so (Mt 8:14-18): 14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. 15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. 16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. 18 Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side. Matthew is referring to Isa 53:4 which says: Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. It is the Holy Spirit who amplies this is Matthew's Gospel. It is a dangerous thing to deny what Scripture affirms. The Bible is crystal clear that sickness, disease, and demonic possession are all consequences of sin, and Christ "took away the sin of the world" (Jn 1:29). Matthew 8:17 tells us that Isa. 53:4 was fulfilled in Jesus' healing ministry, not on the cross. Read your Bible. The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross redeemed us from the curse of the law (spiritual death) Sickness and disease stems from the curse of the fall which we will not free from until we receive our glorified bodies. So until we have our glorified bodies, ALL of us, will get sick and all of us will die at some point. God has never promised that everyone who prays for healing will get healed and there is nothing in the NT that says healing is in the atonement. Sickness and disease is part of the curse. He says He heals ALL our diseases. Psalms 103:3 (AMP) Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,

  50. Jesus passed by many people who were sickly and poor. Did any of them approach Jesus or speak up to Jesus in faith and were NOT healed? No. Jesus healed all who besought Him for a touch of healing.
