  1. I"m a little confused by some of the things you said. This quote from the saying of Esaias... in chapter eight by the Holy Ghost, Who is Esaias and what book did this come from? Are you speaking if Isaiah 8:19,20? Because I haven't a clue who Esaias is In Isaiah 8:19-20 it is speaking of not having anything to do with those who deal with spirits? is that what your trying to get across? You asked us to prove our faith via the OT. My question to you is do you think I owe you an explanation of my faith in Christ? That makes me think that you want to be a judge of who I am, and I will tell you straight. The only opinion I care about is Gods. As long as I stand clear before Him, what you think makes no never mind to me, as my grandma would say. I would also like you to explain the statement, "oh thou sluggish Christian Friend". Who do you consider sluggish? Are you speaking to those at Worthy? God makes salvation so simple and for that I am so grateful. He makes is simple so people like myself and millions of others can grasp His Love and Grace for us. Jesus loves us plain and simple. He extends His Love to anyone who wants to grab a hold of it and those who want their lives changed. This whole post makes everything so complicated. Maybe because you are all over the map that many will not even be able to grasp what Gods word is saying. I want you to go back to the Tos Terms of Service and understand that you are not allowed to teach. Only the Moderators at Worthy are allowed to teach. This is definitely something you are trying to teach. Once again please read or Tos, and Our Statement Of Faith. We welcome you to Worthy. In Christ RustyAngeL

  2. Have you heard of boundaries? What do you think about them. Due to the length of this thread here's a Summary or Table of Contents of what I'd consider the primary, useful content of this thread: Understanding "Christian Counseling" as described by 5 types of counselors in this post about an article in 1975 by Gary Collins in Christianity today. Understanding "Christian Counseling" from the 4 views in this post. Examples of unhealthy boundaries from the book "Boundaries" here in this post. Law #1 The Law of Sowing and Reaping: When God tells us that we will reap what we sow, He is not punishing us; He’s telling us how things really work. Cause and effect. Key passages: 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 and Galatians 6:7 – 8 What I learned here. Our actions have consequences. Someone will bear them. Don’t interrupt this law by regularly bailing others out. Law #2 The Law of Responsibility “You are responsible for yourself, I am responsible for myself.” Key passages: Galatians 5: 13-14, John 15:12, and Philippians 2:12-13 What I learned here. We are responsible to, not for each other. We are to love one another, not be one another. Law #3 The Law of Power God gives you the power to do many things. Key passage: Romans 7: 15-23 What I learned above on this post. We do not have power over other people. We hardly have enough power over ourselves. God has power over everyone. Law #4 The Law of Respecting {Others' Boundaries} If we love and respect people who tell us ‘no’, they will love and respect our ‘no’. Law #5 The Law of Motivation Freedom first, service second. Besides the fear that we will lose love and the fear that people will be angry with us, other false motives keep us from setting boundaries. Law #6 The Law of Evaluation. We need to evaluate the effects of setting boundaries and be responsible to not for the other person. Deciding how to set boundaries is difficult because it requires decision making and confrontation, which may cause pain to someone you love. But, just because someone responds to your boundaries with hurt or anger does not mean you should avoid setting healthy boundaries. Law #7 The Law of Proactivity. In the physical world, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is also true in the spiritual world.(See Romans, 5:20, 7:5-6, Ephesians 6:4, Colossians 3:21) Law #8 The Law of Envy. The Bible speaks strongly against the envious heart (James 4:2). When you feel envy, ask God to help you understand what you resent, why you do not have what you are envying, and whether you truly need it. Ask Him to show you how to get there or grieve what you cannot have and be content with what you do have! Law #9 The Law of Activity Human beings are responders and initiators. We respond to invitations and push ourselves into life. But many times we have boundary problems because we lack initiative, we are passive. Being proactive is the God-given ability to propel ourselves into life. Law #10 The Law of Exposure Boundaries are really about relationships and love. The Law of Exposure says that your boundaries need to be made visible to others and communicated to them in relationship. We have boundary problems because of our fears about our relationships. @missmuffet linked an article here on this post about spiritual boundaries. What are the different types of Boundaries? See this post here as a suggested list. @kwikphilly gives examples of Boundaries in the Bible here on this post. An explanation of Neuthetic Counseling (so-called Biblical Counseling) method can be seen here. @shiloh357 gives an example of an unhealthy relationship lacking bounders here on this post. I've been reading "Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life Book" by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. Here are some thoughts on the book. Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. A boundary is a personal property line that marks those things for which we are responsible. In other words, boundaries define who we are and who we are not. Boundaries impact all areas of our lives: A. Physical boundaries help us determine who may touch us and under what circumstances. B. Mental boundaries give us the freedom to have our own thoughts and opinions. C. Emotional boundaries help us to deal with our own emotions and disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others. D. Spiritual boundaries help us to distinguish God's will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator. Often, Christians focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations. When confronted with their lack of boundaries, they ask: 1. Can I set limits and still be a loving person? 2. What are legitimate boundaries? 3. What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries? 4. How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money? 5. Aren't boundaries selfish? 6. Why do I feel guilty or afraid when I consider setting boundaries? Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend offer biblically-based answers to these and other tough questions, showing us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves. God bless, GE

  3. How many of these have you thought were in the Bible? Don't be embarrassed. Most people have at some point in their walk. Just to make it all easy - NONE of these are in the Bible. [1] "Spare the rod and spoil the child". [2] "God helps those who helps themselves." [3] "God will never give you more than you can handle." [4] "Cleanliness is next to godliness." [5] "Money is the root of all evil." [6] "God moves in mysterious ways." [7] "Charity begins at home." [8] "The Seven Deadly Sins - wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony" [9] "This too shall pass." [10] "The lion will lie down with the lamb." [11] "Hate the sin, love the sinner." [12] "When we die, heaven gains another angel." [13] "The devil can cite scripture for his purposes." [14] "To thine own self be true." Can you think of any more??

  4. Jesus said that we should not judge by outward appearance, so why is it that so many are quick to simply take words only at face value rather than seek to understand the context in which things are said? Does this not promote a deceptive and limited view of truth? Truly we should endeavor to grasp the intention. context, and entire scope before we make a judgment and put the stamp of God upon it; should we not? Let us move forward in a Spirit of truth, rather than obstruct those truths we simply do not wish to accept. Let us not take a single verse out of context and use it as a lever to promote our own agenda or deceptive tradition; for these things are not conducive to progressing the gospel, nor bringing souls to a saving knowledge of Christ. Remember, "ALL scripture is useful for teaching, preaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Not simply one verse on its own, but " ALL scripture,". "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman who needs not be ashamed; rightly dividing the Word of Truth." Not simply swinging the sword for the fences in disregard of context and application. Let us not be mere "hearers of the Word," who delude themselves; but let us seek the full truth that we may grow and develop the proper understanding as we pore through scripture; seeking His wisdom. Thx

  6. Blessings Ezra... Beautiful post, thank you......yes indeed, inseparable as I see it and of course(the whole point of your OP I believe-lol) is that they are most certainly very different! I do agree that this has become a very big problem today,I see it a lot in many of the popular preachers toiday that preach Grace,Grace,Grace omitting TRUTH...the Truth is not always easy to digest or REceive but most necessary as Jesus is the Way,the TRUTH & the Life,,,,,& as ,as you said,He is GOD,,,,,we are also under His Loving Grace,,,,,,inseparable yet working together ,by His Grace we are Saved & SEaled for Redemption ,Eternal.......in Truth we live a Life More Abundant, here & now and can Spread the Gospel so that others can also walk in Spirit & IN TRUTH To God be the Glory! 7. I suggest before this goes any further to consider this - if someone disagrees with your views on scripture you have one choice - defend it and show the error of their view or accept that you could be wrong. It is NOT a PERSONAL ATTACK if someone disagrees with you. That being said "God bless and please continue" God Bless, Hip

  8. well said. that is my point exactly. all too often, especially on this site; many of the tenured members seem to lean on single verses as excuse to lean on deception, that they may instead judge quickly and harshly when others have the spiritual leadin to speak truth. Rather than face accountability and truth; many simply use the sword of truth to "force," others to believe the same flawed perspectives they do. Rashly judging by appearance; there is a general disregard of context, scriptural integrity and divine revelation. Truly in this age have we reverted to the pharisaic behavior and philosophies Christ repeatedly combatted in His time. For instance: when I pointed out that the prophets throughout the old testament also encountered such quick and harsh judgment based on the appearance and were mostly written off as though they were the enemy of God. in response, several tenured members asserted I was claiming to be a prophet. In complete disregard of the context of what was said; they passed condemnation, made accusation and put implication that simply wasn't there as opposed to simply grasping the illustrative purpose and context. This has been a consistent and tragic approach unfortunately by those who should be promoting truth and leading by example. The saddest part is that newer follks here will see that as license to follow such a pattern of bitterness and hateful condemnation rather than promoting a desire to di deeper, see the full context, and comprehend the full truth of a matter. Many are called but few are chosen for this reason specifically; as many would elevate self above others in an attempt to gain control and the image of authority. Let us simply be faithful and dedicated to being salt and light, holding judment til we have actually tried the spirit against the ruler of God's word IN ENTIRETY, and seeking to promote truth and grace in place of the hasty condemnation so casually thrust

  9. Blessings to Everyone.... I have no idea what this Thread has spiraled off into but why don't we get back to the Topic instead of focusing on ONE DENOMINATION......The Council of Trent, interesting as it may be can be totally irrelevant depending on whether or not the current pope adheres to these things from over 500 years ago & it is COMPLETELY OFF Topic,,,,,so lets get back on track!!!! Personally,I am not of any denomination,I am United by Faith in the knowledge of WHO Jesus is to the other members of His Body, the Church,His Family......I have a personal intimate RElationship with God in Christ,,,,,,, AS far as what kind of weekly service I attend,,,,,,Well,I attend Calvary Chapel which is a non-denominational church AND I also attend a Pentacostal church named BibleWay Temple....I love both,Calvary provides good teaching & is pretty quiet in comparison to the Full Gospel "preaching",Hand Raisen church.......I have good fellowship through both of these churches & here on Worthy with my Brothers & Sisters in Christ,They can be anywhere & everywhere!!!!!!Glory to God With love-ion Christ,Kwik

  10. First i would like to say may the Lord God bless your family and your health. 'Jesus said let the little ones come to me for the kingdom in heaven is theirs ' matt 19:14 OR Mark 10:14 That means the little ones are a blessing and you need to teach and train your children about the ways of God and this will help them grow in the light and helps them archieve a solid relationship with God . Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.Proverbs 22:6 Read stories to them and teach them the book of life .stay blessed may God be with you

  11. thx for the support and encouragement. We are all human and equally prone to error, including myself. I cannot claim to "always be right," or even always present things ideally. For example: by expounding scripture truthfully and with full context I somehow managed to offend those who seek to mislead and deceive using single verses as leverae to promote their own wicked and deceptive agenda..lol. So since the enemy foud offense to truth I am now being moderated again. In the future I guess I should be careful when I am offending satan for apparently this is wrong to do...

  12. Some Folks Really Are Missionaries And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:15-16 And Do Not Bow To The Flesh It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63 Others, Not So Much For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Galatians 5:6 ~ It Seems To Me That Some Dear Folk Will Pick And Highlight And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1 Peter 1:17-19 What Sin They Choose To Make Up Or Post Up Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:19-20 To Drive Any Needy Seekers Away For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26 From Jesus Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 For For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Without Faith But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 One Is Surely Done Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 11:25-26 Love, Your Brother Joe

  13. Wow~! Brother I Guess Your Barber Must Be So Proud Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:27-28 (King James Bible) Of Your Righteous Hairdo For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 3:23-28 (King James Bible) ~ Beloved Have You Ever Considered The Goats And The Sheep.... When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:31-34 (King James Bible) Love, Your Brother Joe ~ Be Blessed Beloved Of The KING The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Numbers 6:24-27 (King James Bible) Love, Your Brother Joe ~ All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. Psalms 119:160 (New International Version) The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword and the Christian’s charter. Here too, Heaven is opened and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents. From The Inside Of My Gideon New Testament

  14. Allow me to state, gentle brethren, that at one time apart from select sections of the Bible, I could not biblically answer. The danger of the Pentecostal system is that the "second blessing" of gibberish means the scriptures are chronically neglected. If you talk a good talk, it is supremely easy to get away with the crime of not walking the walk in that movement. Did not Jesus, who said "I and my Father are one," Jn. 5.17 after healing the impotent man, say also to strive to enter in at the staight gate, Mt. 7.13-14, Lk. 13.24? This sadly applies to many, many apostate churches too numerous to list. Yes, though God redeemed His servant while in that unscriptural movement, soon I began to realize the beyond-the-Holy Bible practice was insufficient. Allow me to state an example. Many Jews, which manifest only in 2 Ki. 16.6 thousands of years after Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Ishmael, reject the Old Testament for what Mishna Tractate Hagiga i states are mountians hanging on hair; the Lord Jesus, the King of Israel in Mt. 15 or Mk. 7.9 showed the hypocrisy of these cabalistic and talmudic writings He called "the traditions of the elders". However, because the Talmud teaches in many places against the NT (saying it should be burned whenever possible), many brainwashed Jews will not hear the NT. Dear Christian friend, can you go to the law and prophets to show why Christ is the Deut. 18 Prophet, the Gen. 49 Scepter (shebet), the Num. 24 Star, the Virgin-born Immanuel of Isa. 7.14 from David's line, sealed in a salt covenant forever? Can you tell them He is the Govenor of Bethlehem "from of old, from everlasting", Mic. 5.2? Do you know to show them the Psa. 22.16 and Zech. 12.10, 13.6 (it should read "hands" per Strong's Hebrew #3027 yad) prophecies of the Messiah's hands and feet? These are the very appendages Jesus prophecied his countrymen would peirce, and whom Peter in multitudinous places in Acts (2.36) as well as Paul in the second Thessalonian letter crucified the Lord. Yet, glory for the about 3000 saved that day, then 5000 who believed and were baptized after repentant quickening, being added to the church. They said, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Friend, can you show them like Philip the evangelist did the Ethiopian eunuch under Candace from the old testament; shall you show them what they reject for signs, what the Greeks call foolishness is the power of God unto salvation, Rom. 1.16-17, 1 Cor. 18-30, the "gospel of Christ"? If not, o thou sluggish Christian friend, how shall you satisfy the command to preach repentance and remission of sins through the Door, the Redeemer, the only Potentate of 1 Tim. 6.15? Can you prove your faith from the OT? If not, what are you doing in your lesuire; why not incorporate scriptural study into chastening the soul with fastings and supplications to the high God? Consider Josh. 1.8 AKJB. I close for your meditation the saying of Esaias in chapter eight by the Holy Ghost, "And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them". Psa. 115.1.

  16. Looks like you are right Ezra The first of Daniel’s four beasts is “like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle” (Daniel 7:4). As Daniel watches, the wings are torn off the beast, and the creature stands erect like a man and a human mind is given to it. Later, the angel who interprets the dream tells Daniel, “The four great beasts are four kings that will rise from the earth” (verse 17). This first beast is representative of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Its rise to human-like status reflects Nebuchadnezzar’s deliverance from a beastly existence and his insight into the true nature of God (Daniel 4:34–35). http://www.gotquestions.org/Babylonian-empire.html

  17. Spoken like a mom, which is why moms usually are not the ones who do the corporal disciplining. We are told in the Bible that sparing the rod does spoil the child and we're told that who God loves he disciplines. We're also told that whatever we sow we reap and that can be a lot more debilitating than being spanked as a child.

  18. This should be swallowed with a block of salt. Russia doesn't have the military might for a multi sided massive attack against NATO, nor do they have the resources for a prolonged conflict. If you need an example, look what happened in the Ukraine. If they threw the same arsenal and half witted invasion plans at NATO, they would have their extensions slapped into the dirt.

(Revelation 19:12) On His robe and on His thigh He has this name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Revelation 19:16) This one will say, ‘I am the LORD’s,’ another will call on the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand, ‘The LORD’s,’ and name himself by the name of Israel. I will like to address this to everyone here. I highly respect the views of others regarding tattoos or other such topics. If you feel it is wrong for you then it is wrong for you. But what I do become annoyed with is people who can not accept other people disagreeing with them so they start accusing that person of "ignoring scripture" or not even being saved. Ect ect ect! We all come from different parts of the world, different backgrounds and different upbringings. This accusing of others of being less of a Christian because they interpret a passage of scripture differently then you needs to stop. I must remind myself of these things as well from time to time. Because I am just as guilty as anyone else to get carried away with a topic. I will try to do better. Thank you that is all.

  29. That's a logical fallacy. You know, Christians reputiaded by other Christian professors is abomination; see Prov. 17.15 Authorized King James Bible. Do you have a problem with the harmony of the grace of Christ Jesus by His law in harmony with the mosaic law? Consider Article 12 of the 1833 New Hampshire Confession. For the scriptural proof texts, you can download the portable document format file from TheBaptistpage.net. "We believe that the Law of God is the eternal and unchangeable rule of his moral government (62); that it is holy, just, and good (63); and that the inability which the Scriptures ascribe to fallen men to fulfill its precepts arises entirely from their love of sin (64); to deliver them from which, and to restore them through a Mediator to unfeigned obedience to the holy Law, is one great end of the Gospel, and of the means of grace connected with the establishment of the visible Church (65)". Moreover, why did you ignore the scriptures? That's perplexing.

  31. Wow. I guess Paul, Peter, John Baptist, James, Jude and Jesus Christ were far too legalistic to heap upon to Ezek. 11, 36 or Jeremias 31 concerning the new covenant and testament. The law says, Lev. 19.28, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord", Authorized King James Bible. Mt. 5.17, 18 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled". Lk. 16.17, "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail". Jn. 10.35, 36 "If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?" What strange days live we in where a Christian would call his Lord a "legalist", an excessive adherence to law, such as the Pharisees, scribes, lawyers or Herodians and Sadducees, whose traditions of the elders nullified Moses, Mk. 7.9. Tattoos require shedding of blood and cutting of the flesh to print an image, an idol, onto the skin. Ponder Hosea 4.6, Deut. 5.6-9.

  35. See as well Mk. 14.36, Rom. 8.15 in addition to Gal. 4.16 AKJB.

  36. Allow me to state the issue you face cannot be solved except by the blood of Jesus from that Golgotha (or Calvary, Lk. 22) hill far away. Satan once had me so depressed I questioned whether I was or was not human, and praise God he did not let me commit the great sin of self-murder in spite of begging for death to escape Satan's horrid temptations for unspeakable evils. Quote scripture when he manifests (Mt., Lk. four). You face a spiritual battle, not with the powers or principalities of flesh, but of the devil, Eph. 6.12 AKJB. The answer lies in the problem: you have looked away from Christ crucified, friend. You need to repent, get back to that tree immidiately. The weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, but dare not try on your own! When you shut the front door, but not the back, Satan is wise enogh to go through the back door! What did Micheal say when contending with Satan? Jude said he durst not bring a railing accusation; he said, "the LORD rebuke thee". Touching on music, there is much power in it. The Babylonian king commanded, Dan. three, all to worship or die at the music. The drumbeat changes the brain wave. If you listen to rock, rap or any other worldly music, it will depress you farther. Those musicians (read occultists) have made pacts with hell similar to that described in Isaiah 28. The following musicians have long described occult phenomina such as automatic writing, spirits summoned &c.: Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Frank Zappa, KISS, whose frontman Gene Simmons said in a 1980s Letterman interview echoing those before him back to the boogie woogie days in the Great Depression, that rock is sex with a 100 megaton bomb- the beat! (See the David Cloud book Rock & Roll's War Against God from wayoflifeliterature.org.) Consider Isa. 14.11 KJB, as well as Amos 5.17-21 or thereabouts. Classical music is plauged with it also. Paganini was said to have orbs (devils) floating about him; Mozart was a free mason (read Luciferian solar phallic Hyram Abiff cult). Many CCW/CWM material is just like the world. I encourage you to get that trash out of the house; when it goes many of those evil spirits tormenting you will. Instead, consider getting the KJB on audio as well as some of the old hymns to sing. Hymnals are cheap enough. http://lifeway.com/Product/baptist-hymnal-2008-pew-edition-M00000211. See Col. 3.16, Eph. 5.16-18. Good idea turning off the news; per the first Psalm, give the TV the boot. It helps all the more. Try not to be alone from fellowship. Lastly, consider fasting at least once a week (I do it Sunday skipping lunch to pray and fast- as will be for you, friend) to chasten the soul and seek God is mighty helpful. DO NOT, I pray you, do it for the sake of being freed but for to "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you", Mt. 6.33, Lk. 12, lest the devil hang you with a threefold cord. Praying for you, fellow Christian, SGB

  37. Women and girls here in Florida have pretty much the same wardrobe. Only in the workplace or in church or at a fancy party or a wedding or funeral do you see women in dresses. Even in the workplace, women prefer the pantsuits. Indeed, depending on the location, such as a place with stairs and balconies, the pantsuits are more modest than dresses. I believe that MODESTY is the key. One can be cool in a t-shirt and jeans if the jeans are baggy enough. I've grown to be "Forever-in-bluejeans," and wear them practically every day. Even have dress jeans for special occasions; so, I know it's possible. I have a good tan because of the kind of work I do these days, but it's a "farmer's tan." I always wear a t-shirt, too, as well as a safety vest, safety prescription glasses, hard hat, steel-toed boots, and occasionally gloves. At least we don't have to belt up the lower hem of our robes to our waists to make shorts (gird up our loins) like they used to do!

  38. I do not recall beating anyone over the head, in fact I don't know anyone on here who may or may not have a tattoo., and personally I don't care either? All I recall doing is quoting Scripture where God clearly commands ISRAEL not to cut or mark their skin. Lev. 19:28, Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. You say there is no sin because this was a commandment of God to Israel. It's wrong we beat Christians over the head reminding Christians of this commandment? Well maybe if some of us Christians were to prostitute our daughters to be a whores, there is also no sin because this was a commandment of God between Him and Israel? Lev. 19:29, Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. Like the old man used to say to me many times, "Haz, Times they are a changing, and that makes it ok!
