  1. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. - John 8:44 We have to remember that Satan is the father of lies. He is a murderer from the beginning and dwells in falsehood. He never wants the glory to go to Jesus Christ but rather twists the truth and deceives those in the Lord’s work to take glory to themselves. Satan is also the master counterfeiter who has been deceiving God’s people since the beginning. He spoke to Eve and deceived her by twisting the truth of God saying, “Has God indeed said?” Such twisting of the truth is his normal activity. Since the earliest days of the apostles, even with our Lord himself, there were deceivers and false brethren present: those who secretly come into God’s flock for personal gain and to infiltrate the liberty of the believers, betrayers, deceivers, false brethren, false prophets, and those desiring preeminence among the saints (3 John 1:9). Diotrephes and one's like him did not seek honour in the church as much as sought his own truth, his own way and seperated himself from the doctrines of the Apostles and all the other Churches. He was stubborn to think he was right and all others were wrong. A false teacher is always who is in admidst but then seeks to draw people "out of" towards themselves. Just like satan, these false teachers do not have, "the truth in them." One key to understand the working of God versus Satan in a meeting of believers is the emphasis put on the Son of God. Those that worship, honor, and glorify the Holy Spirit more than Jesus Christ are not led by the Holy Spirit to do that. The Holy Spirit will always honor Jesus Christ; thus the true working of the Spirit can be distinguished in measure. The Scripture states: “He shall not speak of himself” (John 16:13). All early Church creed statements always elevate the work of the cross and the incarnation of the Son of God. In the end times, there will be an influx of those in the Church teaching doctrines of demons to deceive even the elect of God. There will be many false teachers who claim to be of the truth but are not. The most dangerous weapon against the Church is not persecution, but deception. One key feature of these deceptions is that there is something new offered, when rather we should be seeking to believe the truth that is old and that which the Church has held to from the beginning.

  2. I had an experience today and it comes in on this.. Warfare.. i went to college to see what and how to apply in order to go to uni. The man that I was seeing, firstly, The Lord showed me him in a vision over a week ago before I met him. He looked exactly same. Behaved same. It gets creepier. He had a freemasonic ring. And his vibes. he start to talk about how the world would change in ten years to higher consciousness, how noone knows how, he was almost meaning dna upgrade and superhuman. Combined with tech and frequency. Talked about pyramid effects.nhe got very interested in me as it went on, what I said. Yes he could talk on my level, which functioning is high and lofty. But there he sat and had no clue who i was and how what he felt from me was The Holy Spirit lol not long ago I was shown by The Lord about the new age and how it came to be but also deeper, their plans with it, theosophic society, consciousness they talked exactly like this guy, and it was so insidious that anyone not knowing what i knew would bought it. I started talk about God, he tried make God something ebergetic, out there or the mind. I start to tell him about my healing and deliverance experiences with God. He sat with open mouth. especially as God told me to do stuff and things happened he was very interested in me and my talents and forgot time so school closed lol i told him, theres no greater power in universe than Jesus. He jumped like he got electrocuted stared at me. Again, tried his thing and i thought to myself, im gonna fight that new age philosophy you try introduce with all my heart and soul. I knew God wanted to use me that way. He tried but he couldnt explain all ive said and he was gobsmacked now thats funny when you think of how sneaky they try introduce it. He didnt know i knew lol he tried influence me, and i was so thankful to God. They really think people will transform. Sick. im gonna bump into him more in the future. Praise Jesus. he simply jumped and got quiet with open mouth by name of Jesus. that was a test for me from God. I also got tested when I webt get some food, as ny trolley was full and there were stuff under it, that couldve slipoed away with no notice. I felt the temptation. But I resisted the devil and I got more of The Spirit. So, apparently the devil is going for me now.

  3. Are things like facebook, snap chat, tv, secular interests outside God taking us away from God? No Im not saying dont. But more of do you pay a price taking time away from God and coming closer, for each activity and the longer? How does it influence? Or is it ondividual, how much we can handle? Im thinking like, thecloser to God the more of Him. Worldly activites like work only exhausts me and my mind but especially my body and having illnesses. Makes it worse. Its first whenI pray, read, focus on God I get back to my normality. Do you experience such?

  6. This is also what I'm worried about. I hope this violence stops and people accept that Donald Trump is now our president. I'm a really old fashioned man and I believe we should 1 nation. A lot of us didn't like Obama or most of what he did but we waited him out, as we are supposed to do. So now the leftist liberals should tighten their belts and wait out Pres Trump. If this occurs I think America will be better in 4 yrs than it is now.

  9. I have often thought if I'm too worldly. I listen to music from my teen years and watch/listen to a lot of World news, watch documentaries, love cooking shows.... However, my reading has now become selective and I no longer watch movies or have interest to do so. I don't go clubbing or do singles bars but I do love to go 'lunching' or coffee shopping.

  10. God is lenient to a broken heart and contrite spirit. He is not lenient to a rebellious spirit. But if you are one that wants to walk with God ten of course he will help you too. But again the lords ears are open to a righteous person. We have to walk righteously. Because he calls us to be holy. He said be holy because I am holy. Then his ears are open. He still loves us if we are backsliding. But he may not answer your prayers if your not making changes.

  12. Question: "Does God hear / answer the prayers of a sinner / unbeliever?" Answer: John 9:31 declares, “We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will.” It has also been said that “the only prayer that God hears from a sinner is the prayer for salvation.” As a result, some believe that God does not hear and/or will never answer the prayers of an unbeliever. In context, though, John 9:31 is saying that God does not perform miracles through an unbeliever. First John 5:14-15 tells us that God answers prayers based on whether they are asked according to His will. This principle, perhaps, applies to unbelievers. If an unbeliever asks a prayer of God that is according to His will, nothing prevents God from answering such a prayer—according to His will. Some Scriptures describe God hearing and answering the prayers of unbelievers. In most of these cases, prayer was involved. In one or two, God responded to the cry of the heart (it is not stated whether that cry was directed toward God). In some of these cases, the prayer seems to be combined with repentance. But in other cases, the prayer was simply for an earthly need or blessing, and God responded either out of compassion or in response to the genuine seeking or the faith of the person. Here are some passages dealing with prayer by an unbeliever: The people of Nineveh prayed that Nineveh might be spared (Jonah 3:5-10). God answered this prayer and did not destroy the city of Nineveh as He had threatened. Hagar asked God to protect her son Ishmael (Genesis 21:14-19). God not only protected Ishmael, God blessed him exceedingly. In 1 Kings 21:17-29, especially verses 27-29, Ahab fasts and mourns over Elijah's prophecy concerning his posterity. God responds by not bringing about the calamity in Ahab's time. The Gentile woman from the Tyre and Sidon area prayed that Jesus would deliver her daughter from a demon (Mark 7:24-30). Jesus cast the demon out of the woman’s daughter. Cornelius, the Roman centurion in Acts 10, had the apostle Peter sent to him in response to Cornelius being a righteous man. Acts 10:2 tells us that Cornelius “prayed to God regularly.” God does make promises that are applicable to all (saved and unsaved alike) such as Jeremiah 29:13: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” This was the case for Cornelius in Acts 10:1-6. But there are many promises that, according to the context of the passages, are for Christians alone. Because Christians have received Jesus as the Savior, they are encouraged to come boldly to the throne of grace to find help in time of need (Hebrews 4:14-16). We are told that when we ask for anything according to God's will, He hears and gives us what we ask for (1 John 5:14-15). There are many other promises for Christians concerning prayer (Matthew 21:22; John 14:13, 15:7). So, yes, there are instances in which God does not answer the prayers of an unbeliever. At the same time, in His grace and mercy, God can intervene in the lives of unbelievers in response to their prayers. https://www.gotquestions.org/unbeliever-prayer.html

  13. Sometimes not always. I have known people with a thyroid disorder and they lose their metabolism. They can instantly gain a lot of weight. Or someone that is on a particular medication. Many medications have a side effect of putting weight on a person. They people can be eating like a bird. So it is best not to judge a person who is over weight unless you know the whole scenario.

  14. We are designed to enjoy our food and take pleasure in eating it. It is not a sin. Just give thanks to God for it. I don't think gluttony is mentioned in the Bible, at least not in that context, but probably in the context of laziness and self-indulgence,and mentioned in connection with drunkardness. I believe it is Catholic doctrine that has created gluttony as one of the seven deadly sins. I also think that gluttony may refer to obsession with one type of food at the neglect of others, in other words an imbalance in diet. Variety is important. Those who eat too much of thing and not another are abusing their bodies. Finally I would like to add a saying of the Amish: "Take as much as you like. Eat all of it." In other words, 'waste not, want not.' Some people need more food than others, but don't let the greed of your eyes be bigger than your belly can hold. Don't stuff your face just for the sake of it, but think of others and their nutritional needs too.

  15. From one old man to another ... Yes, we are very close. Have you also considered that when His return will be is when we doubt it will happen. I believe that in such an hour you think not, the Son of Man will come. As in the days of Noah, so it will be when He returns. People will be going about their business as they always have; working, shopping, enjoying sporting events, going to the doctors, etc.

Maybe its a good idea to have regular fasting days? well, ive tried some witchcraft, not much, didnt feel it was right to continue. Otherwise, new age, btarots, healing, crystals.. Again like something protected me from dig too deep. Last it was bew age, ufos, channeled material.so forth..cosmic cinsciousness.. I asked God to reveal the truth also so i could help others and right after He did and that was alot, I was shocked. One other thing thats always opressed me is my cronic fatique, before I had the other illnesses. It came after my parents abused me. Do you think something got in? Its ruined my life in more cases I can say. another one that keeps coming now is hardship financially being hounded threatebed by homelessness all the time. It started when I lived in Denmark, I lost my home to influences not my doing, or control. Then this countrys renting system making me have to move all the time, and then now having to save up rent upfront and im gonna need to take a loan to pay it or, having to move. Im probably gonna get it as i have permanent job etc but talk about pressure. And thats not how i grew up and used to. Its created nightmares for me. thank you sister

  23. you know what I dont get, people get harsh about Trump, and judge his salvation, all because hes insulted people and has spoken vulgar in the past. But, what would happen, if we held ourselves, to the same standards as Trump. I dare anyone here, on both sides of the discussion, to hold themselves to the same standards that Trump is being held against. Have I ever insulted anyone? Yup. Have I ever lied? yup. Have I ever made a vulgar comment, especially concerning woman? Yup. Have I ever been arrogant? yup. Have I ever been Rude? yup. have I ever cheated anyone? yup. the list goes on. And, I might add, ive done all the above more then once. Some, I still do. So, am I still a christian? According to the Bible I am, because according to the Bible, we are saved by grace, and not of works. We still mess up, every day, all of us. We are all guilty of sin. Let us not forget that, and not hold someone elses sins against them, and learn to extend grace and love.

  25. Stanley Hauerwas believes Christianity in America is dying. What he does not realize is we are not a Theocracy. We did not elect a pope, a religious leader. We elected a man with deep convictions for God and for this nation. And the two are not in conflict at all. America was founded on Christian principles while its governance was left to be secular. Mainly because the conflicts of a united church and state causes issues and casts divides. There is noting wrong with loving ones country and wanting the best for a future of a nation and one's people. And wanting that in no wise conflicts with the love for God. American's do not worship the flag. We do not drop to our knees when the anthem plays. America is a free country and there is no shame nor sin in being proud to be an American. The first priority of our forefathers is reflected in our first amendment that is a contract between the people and our government. It reflects the controls the people have on that government. And that first amendment guarantees the right to worship without constraint. An inalienable right. It also guarantees the right to speak freely. A blessing in that our street preachers are not able to be jailed for invoking the name of Christ aloud in public. Nor for imploring passers by to care about their souls and come listen to the good news that God loves them. And they can become better people if they repent and accept God's Son Jesus Christ as their savior. I love my country. I love God and His Son Jesus Christ. There's no conflict there. Extreme pacifism that thinks to teach cleaving to God while letting the nation go to Hell isn't noble. Condemning a people that believe in God and love their country isn't righteous. It's cowardice.

  27. I was talking to my sister in the Lord Jill today and I cannot even begin to tell you how she lifted me up. In the hour or more that we spoke we praised, prayed, and stood in awe of the power of our Heavenly Father and the glory of our Savior Jesus Christ. I am sharing this because we need to start praying for revival for our country. We need to go boldly into this world proclaiming Jesus Christ and His saving power. We as Christians need to be vigilante in His word, not being ashamed or timid. I believe we are getting very close to the coming of the Lord Jesus and even if it's another 100 years there is still lots of work to do. Here at Worthy I want to see people lifted up, saved and changed lives because we know the Author of all of above and our willingness to share it. Thank your for allowing me to vent. I am so thankful for this miracle place called Worthy. I thank God for George and all those who stand with him. I only ask to be used of God in anyway He sees fit. I pray we all fall into the arms of our Savior and let Him work through us, willing vessels that only want to see the salvation of millions of more people. God Bless all of you. 28. Blessings Worthy Family, I often wonder when reading most replies that are posted, who are they talking to?I don't understand the whole concept of posting a previous quote to address a specific person & sometimes it is not even to address the person that was quoted but to respond to the person that posted before them?Gee,it is confusing & honestly a great waste of space and I even think it's kind of rude in a very impersonal way....and half the time it says"quote" & not who wrote it......oy veh! My intention is not to offend anyone but to make a suggestion to simply include a salutation as we were taught in grade school when writing a personal letter .....after all,we are family-brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus ......it takes not even a fraction of a second to address one another personally......I really think that would be a very nice way to respond to the people we love, wouldn't you agree? I am not a nit-picker & I know it has become a lazy habit for many that have been texting for years & there is no need for salutations but here we have many people engaging in a conversation and I really cannot speak for anyone else but I don't believe I am alone in this confusion....sometimes it is very clear by the posted Quotes & what is written but for me I find it tiresome to have to scroll down 3feet when I could have scrolled up one inch if I needed to re-read a persons reply with just one word typed in "Hi Kwik" or "Dear Kwik" of "Kwik" Okay ,enough said,I just cannot bring myself to post without addressing who I am speaking to or to "Blessings Everyone"and I don't see a need to quote that person because I am sure they know what they have written,I must confess(it irritates me-lol)Anyway,God bless you all....please don't be too hard on me,I am really sick with acute bronchitis & could use a little TLC today Actually,I could use your prayers...... 31. Blessings Everyone The funny thing is all the people that have posted here are the easiest folks to communicate with &always polite-lol other one ,for example:no one can never be confused about who he is addressing & what he is referring to.by his specific use of the quote he wishes to respond to & his often address to a specific person.....Pat,with his @Kwikphilly can never be mistaken and I do understand(having become familiar here)that forum rules are often quite different than addressing a formal(or informal letter) and it really is the (3 million quote)that causes much of my confusion as Pat mentions.....but for me,common courtesy can be applied in everything that we do and as I have said,,,,I am very uncomfortable in not addressing someone by salutation just as my way of personally greeting the person I wish to engage,,,,,' I don't expect for anyone to assign salutations in their post(though I would love it!)but at least to somehow acknowledge who they are referring to rather than by mere insinuation........it is also very likely that my upbringing & early teachings lend to my conduct as an adult ,I suppose I would be considered formal when in the company(personally)of others...... Thank you Willow,BoPeep,Angels & everyone else for your prayers & well wishes.......I do appreciate your prayers & concern & I cannot begin to even describe what is being thrown my way .....but Glory to God,it only makes me Praise longer ,louder & stronger!!God Bless all of you & thanks for sharing! 35. Blessings Worthy Family, I facilitate my church telephone prayer line hour on the weekends,it begins at 5am and at 6pm I turn the line over to the next church facilitator.Anyone is welcome on the line, they do not have to be a member of our church...it is Gods prayer line and whoever would like to come on and pray, put in a prayer request or simply listen in is most welcome. The regular facilitator used to do it by herself 6 days a week until(maybe a year ago)asked me to help her by taking over Saturdays & Sundays, our Senior pastor (who facilitates Wednesdays-mens day)of course had to approve as we do represent our church. The facilitator simply introduces our church, opens up with prayer, keeping it inclusive for everyone and must judge how many people are on the line to determine how long we will pray(a bell rings whenever someone comes on)....so if you here 2 bells perhaps you would pray for half an hour to avoid silence on the line.....There is a format,we begin with praise and worship, thanksgiving and then ask for blessings for everyone that comes on....perhaps pray for our pastors & leaders, our country, our youths, the unsaved....however the Spirit may lead but keeping personal prayer out of it as we are moderating and wanting to encourage others to pray,. I always have to pray before prayer(if you know what I mean)and we have the usual 5 or 6 prayer warriors that come on,some are recited, others say many repititious words but I am not there to judge how anyone prays ...that is between them and God I can only hope that they all come into relationship with God and not to try and sound good....I have to continually pray to hear what God hears and it is not always easy. One day, about a 3wks ago...a girl came on the line on Monday and started praying, preaching, talking about diets, paying rent and I don't know what for 45 minutes....when she was done I asked if the Mother(facilitator was there)and this girl lashed out"Uhh,Mother ___ I think you better tell them who I am and that I will be facilitating 1/2 the time as you have asked"...I was gobsmacked as I knew nothing of it but I figured,Oh well,we will see where this goes.....Well,it got worse & worse everyday...she doesn't breathe in between sentences,is not a member of our church,if someone doesn't come on to pray when she opens the line she jumps in and starts all over but she is not praying jut talking and I guess preaching(don't really know......I just gave it to God & then Saturday when I opened the line, she came on & start glorifying me as the leader & I said wait a minute,I am only here to set the table for the opening of the line the glory is to God,and lets give someone a chance to pray.....then she just talked over me talking about leadership positions in the church & I don't know what....took up the entire remaining time ending with" I love you Kwik" I am not judgemental but clearly this girl loves herself,I guess I should have posted this in "need of prayer"because I am having a difficult time loving this obnoxious person......I have gone to the pastor and put it in His hands,I have not been on the line except for my weekend obligation and Have been getting calls all week from all the people that no longer want to come on the 5am as long as she is on it...it is the Jennifer hour as they are calling it....Oh Lord,I need Your heart and mind as some people make it very difficult to love them With love,in Christ-Kwik

Dear Brother FresnoJoe responded minutes after I posted with one word"praying"and in my heart I am assured that he has, with all of his heart........I love you my Brother Desi,God bless you....you simply reminded me of my function within the Body of Christ....people will come along to disrupt things from time to time but just focus on the good & God(this too will pass) My Loving NYL...yes indeed,God has given you boldness & confidence ....but in Him,His Word and though you may not even realize it but the Word you shared means much to me....not to judge and to wait for that "quiet"Word that will come Sister Zion.....I thank God for your candor and for the love that you show me,it is so good to be loved.......I must never forget that everything is Gods.....no doubt ,it is Gods prayer line and for whatever reason He is allowing this,I will trust He will take care of everything. And I love you also! And to Our Father, thank You Lord that you are in charge and that everything is well in Your care....praise,glory and honor is Yours alone and I am so grateful that You have brought me to this place to amongst Your own.....we are Yours and thank You for our Lord and Savior,Christ Jesus Who has brought us all back to where we belong, safe in Your Loving Arms...praise Jesus,Bless You Abba With Love,in Christ-Kwik

  39. Hello Family, As most of you know my husband has been sick for the last six months. I know he is doing some better and his CAT scans have been coming back clear which means no cancer but he is still a long ways from well. I cannot get him to eat, His tube feeding really isn't giving him enough to make him gain any weight and believe me he needs to. I can always increase it and I have but it has to be done slowly as not to make him uncomfortable. I'm going to a friends house next week. I have known Jim for over 30 years. He was my chiropractor for years. Jim is about 80 now but looks and act 60. He has spent most of his life studying holistic medicine and I am going to get some things for Steve. All the years these doctors spend in school and no one can figure out how to get his stronger and make him eat. So I'm going to do it this way. Really I feel God has been telling me to do this and I'm going to act on it. Jim isn't a Christian but has a compassion for people and I'm going to try. Its natural and I don't think it's going to hurt him. I will check with his other doctor but I'm sure it will be OK. See Steve and I have been married 24 years come June 4th. This man is my heart, and I would literally walk through the fires of hell for him. I would trade places with him in a heartbeat. Since I can do neither I am in a constant state of prayer and supplication for him. God spoke to my heart a long time ago and gave me one verse and I have clung it since. "No Weapon Formed Against You Will Prosper" Since Steve and I are one that goes for him too. I'm finding myself becoming depressed and very sad. We are human and have the same emotions as anyone else. It's not a sin to be depressed or does it show a lack of faith...it just happens. I hate seeing him like this and only want him well again. I'm asking for you to pray for him to get an appetite. That would get him on the road of recovery and getting strong. I'm so blessed to have all of you. You are my family and I love you more then you will ever know. I'll keep you informed, and thanks for the shoulders.

  41. This to my brothers and sisters at Worthy. I don't hardly know how to start this. I have been a church person all my life. But within these cyber walls I have never seen love like I have seen at Worthy Chat. I cannot tell you what you all mean to me. Today Mike (Thomas I Believe) posted a prayer request for me about my husbands new business (He's a barber) and we just bought a new shop. Like all new businesses it takes time to get going. But I have something going for me that no one else has. I have the support of all of you. Mike prayed for me in that post and when I read it I wept just as I am now just thinking about it. How do you say thank you for the gift of love and acceptance that I have found here? I may not be able to see your faces but you are forever imprinted on my heart. The joy that I have sharing Jesus with you in chat, or when we get a little crazy as we do at times, and I find myself laughing until I hurt means the the world to me. You my precious family may not be with me physically day by day, but you I carry you in my heart everyday. I look forward to the day when we meet face to face and we all look upon the Face that brought us together. We will have eternity to share what Jesus has done, and...I suspect we will get silly and laugh together. I can almost see Jesus...shaking His head saying as He points in our direction..." Those are My Worthy kids, aren't they something"? I can't wait until I see Jesus so I can thank Him personally for the gift of all of you. And George if you happen to read this, I can't thank you enough for this gift you have so freely given. We love you and look forward to may more days of meeting in Worthy Chat. 43. I have in the last week or so seen an amazing out pouring of love when our brother Mike (Thomas I Believe) was sick. People that came in new began to stand with in the gap for Mike, believing that God was doing a work in this man of Gods life. Mike and I have talked several times over the last week and we have both agreed that God is doing a work in Worthy Chat by bringing us into a closer relationship with each other as we grow in our walk with God. Here we are people from all walks of life, hundreds and sometimes thousands of miles apart, loving each other as only "His children" can. I am excited about what is happening in Worthy. We are seeing people coming to Jesus, being healed, and restored into the family of God. I believe Worthy Chat is a tool for the Holy Spirit in these end times. I can only believe it's going to get better. I love each and everyone of you, thank you for loving me.
