  1. I love my age now more sensitive since going thru challenges both physical and spiritual. I love being a grandfather so could except that without the aches and pains. I feel young at heart but the aches and the mirror in the mourning always tells me the truth just like the bible.

  2. That is often a neglected fact! The Rapture could be a long ways off yet, but our personal end times encounter with the Lord may be more certain. Few live past 100 years, some will die tomorrow (or even in the next few minutes), rapture or not! Let's look at the principle of the watchman in Exekial 33: 1And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2“Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, ‘If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman,3and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people, 4then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his ownhead. 5‘He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life. 6‘But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman’s hand.’ As believers, we have the job of warning others of judgement to come. Paul understood this as we see in Acts 20: 25“And now, behold, I know that all of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will no longer see my face. 26“Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27“For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God. 28“Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. 29“I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; 30 and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. 31“Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears. Are we, like Paul, innocent of blood?

  4. The Bible has a lot to say about being persecuted for righteousness sake. Such as bless those who persecute you, pray for those who spitefully use you. Do a study through you concordance on persecute. If he is not a Christian, you may divorce him if he no longer wants to live with you. If you are in it for the long haul forming godly attitudes and godly responses can changes things. Sometimes he is saved. It took 4 years of doing this till my husband was saved. I prayed day and night for him, but God first changed me. I also engaged in spiritual warfare, knowing that God lived in me and was fighting on my behalf. God was greater in me than the evil that was in him. So I was able to stand up on the inside with Christ's authority while replying with a soft answer, not returning reviling for reviling. I would try to stick to the issue and with godly attitudes, respecting him in spite of all, give a godly perspective. Sometimes it made Him angrier, but I was determined to remain the adult. Sometimes I would say " That's OK. I love you anyway." But each of us has to do as God instructs us. But where drugs and and/or alcohol are involved in his violence, or mental illness, run for the nearest woman's shelter! My advice. There are times that you can maintain separation till he agrees to get treatment. God can put marriages back together. Sometimes you need to get a restraining order and then disappear and change your name. But in all cases we have to forgive and pray that God bless them, that He delivers them from the evil that controls them, and that He saves their souls.

  6. Dear brother Praise2God4ever, Grace and mercy and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not up to us to convert or persuade anyone. Our mission is: · “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28.18-20). · “And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16.15). Whoever convicts of sin, of justice and of judgment is the Spirit of the Eternal (John 16.8). And it is up to each one to decide whether to accept or reject Jesus' love for him. Finally, may Jesus make us a perfect instrument for all to see all the magnificence that is in Him and, thus, they feel themselves stimulated to give their lives into His hands.

M wife and I were in her boat back in the early 00's when our ears and check book liked what we herd (meaning prosperity and feel good) then when we started finding holes in the boat that's when the Lord had me search out her life not her words and that showed us her fruits (actions speak louder than words) and you are judging fruit not the person directly. I should add that it is not just Joyce we also used the searching for other preachers on tv the same way and found more than one tickling ears. 143

  9. You have to be very very careful.. Freemasons are no Christians. they serve Satan. Deal with them with caution and dont accept their teaching and preaching. Keep a clear mind and dont let him clog you. They love talking to Christians because to enter into freemasonry they say '' you have to have a religion" to enter etc. So they tend to have that in the back of their head when they meet a person. And talking to them about spiritual gifts you have or know about will just make them wanna get you into their Lounge faster. Now dont get me wrong. I am not saying you cant talk to them or something like that. Its good bringing God to the lost. But we have to be very cautious. Go where God leads you God bless you!

  10. The mark and the image are always mentioned together. Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand," Revelation 14:9 and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; Revelation 20:4b They are also together when they are introduced at the end of Revelation 13, and there are other passages that mention them both together as well. It's safe to say that they are closely related if not inseparably so. We also know enough about them that those who accept them are the objects of God's wrath, so it would be worth taking a look at what they are: the mark - something uniquely identified as belonging to the false prophet, either his name or the number of his name. It will required to conduct financial transactions and is located either on the right hand or forehead. the image - something that people will be required to worship or they will be put to death. Worship is lifestyle behavior and people will be required to live in accordance with what the image requires. When looked at together, receiving the mark is a one-time event that aligns a person with the false prophet and worshipping the image is the ongoing lifestyle behavior that the image requires. It is essentially an aggressive way for the false prophet to ferret out dissenters and keep people in line. It is how he makes war on the saints, the great tribulation. Believers are called on to persevere through this time and reject the mark and the image regardless of the consequences. Many do and are martyred as a consequence. After the great tribulation, when everyone has had an opportunity to respond to the "worship or die" ultimatum, the seven plagues are brought to bear on those who sided with the false prophet by taking his mark and worshipping the image. The question is, can those who sided with the false prophet realize because of the plagues that they made a mistake and repent? Can they cease to worship the image and be forgiven? I think it's possible. I've always been told that taking the mark seals one's fate but I don't find any support for that. Those who do may not be counted among those who persevered by rejected the mark and the image but I still think they can yield to God's judgment of the first four trumpets and repent. I realize that at some point in the plagues that people's hearts harden to the point of no repentance but that isn't until after the first four trumpets. If you disagree and you think people can not repent after receiving the mark and worshipping the image then please explain why based on scripture. "Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?" Ezekiel 18:23 The 144,000 are mentioned just before, and are protected from, the seven plagues for a reason.

  11. I saw a recent post talking about 8 things Christians need to stop doing. A good read . what do you think. 1) expecting non Christians to live like Christians. We have rhe holy spirit enabling us to live a holy life. They donr so they wont.Putting our morals on them will turn them off from the gospel .we should instead use it to witness. 2)swearing in text speak words like OM... It may seem harmless but w'ere really calling his name in vain. 3)thinking we can't read the Bible everyday. 4) not bothering to witness. 5)gossiping especially about other Christians and their issues eg prayer requests. 6)publicly disrespecting politicians on social media. We are commanded to eespect our leaders despite our opinions on them.Reference was made to how some Christians blasted Obama when he got in and compared the us govt to the roman empire. Which btw slaughtered christisns. Even now in peoples blasting of trump. 7)expecting well be popular to the world. Wewon't. Jesus himself said it will hate us as it hated him. 8)using elements if other religions in our lives eg yogawhich is linked to Hindu worship. What do u think

  12. Magnanimity (a sense of fair play, of equal time) has long spilled over the banks of protocol and logic. So much so today to the point that the belief "So what if radical Muslims want to destroy us and our way of life? Being fair, giving them equal time is supreme." And this is where things like blocking Trump's executive order to temporarily ban immigration from known terrorist exporting nations comes from. It allowed the evolutionist 'religion' (through the Scopes Monkey Trial) to gain a toehold then a foothold and to become a stronghold in the courts, the education system, and the media (while its foundation is still only a theory). Religion, because despite all science to the contrary evolution is believed in with blind faith. Another breach in the levy is the sexual revolution, where in the name of "choice" the one who has the most to lose (the aborted baby) is given no choice. Another is the LBGTQ S&M etc etc etc demanding equal consideration in all aspects of life including access to the children to sway them and mold them. The wolves have gone into the poultry business. All appealing to that stupid, ridiculous, short-sighted sense of fair play almost everyone possesses and must overcome with education and caution. Be blessed.

  13. Congratulation! A few of the people here have caused me to change my mind about something. After all the debates and arguments you have won me over to your side on something. There was a post about Joyce Meyer being a false teacher. I have listen to Joyce Meyers and I have enjoyed her "feel good" message from time to time. I've never been a fan but I found her enjoyable. But after some of you here started saying that she is a false teacher. I started looking into that, and after seeing a few Youtube clips about her and what she is saying, I now think that what she is teaching is questionable. It seem as though she is using Scripture in away that seems right but is not the true message of the Scripture. I'm still not sure of everything I mean if it is her intent to miss lead people or if she is mislead herself. In other words I do not know her heart and some of the things she says are uplifting. But like I said I am now a bit more cautious of her message and feel some of what she says is questionable. So there you are. You won me over with a debate.

Well said Brother Blessings Jayne Welcome to Worthy,it's so important to understand the passages "in Context",I am repeating what Omega has said because this is where so many hearers of Gods Word can get distracted.....it is so important to know who is being addressed & why,Blasphemy is (by definition dictionary.com) : profanity, sacrilege, irreligion, irreverence, taking the Lord's name in vain, swearing, curse, cursing, impiety, desecration Unbelief is not a sin against the Holy Spirit because the Spirit has not even convicted the heart of the unbeliever(yet).....that would be equivalent to speaking AGAINST the Son of man(Jesus)...Jesus Forgives this ,HE just said so!!!!! 20. I agree that some people want just enough of Jesus to be considered saved. What I see from a lot of teachers/preachers you speak of is they will take the desires of the flesh and try to show how God will provide them with what they want. One example is the "name it and claim it" group who claim that we were promised an abundant life. They take the wants of people and promise them that if they have enough faith God will give them the desires of their heart. They do this by twisting scripture, as in Psalm 37:4 where we read "Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart." and John 10:10 where we read "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." They take these two verses, and more, and twist them to teach that God is like Santa and will give you what you want. God tells us He will provide us with what we need, not what we want, UNLESS, what we want is in His will. In a nutshell, they force people to covet and envy, both sins, and if they do not get the desires of their heart, it is due to not having enough faith. This is just one example of many on how scripture can be twisted for profit ... theirs. People who teach, no matter where they teach, should be very careful not to twist scripture in order to prove a point or gain favor in mans eyes. We all should heed the warning in James 3:1-12 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.

  37. I have noticed a lot of names mentioned about being a false teacher. What stood out more then anything is though they may be off, or exaggerate on a few points, most seem to love Jesus. I am starting to curb my words to point to what I see as false and showing scripture about this certain point being not scriptural, and stop saying they are a "false teacher" as most of what they do say is on point. Yet, there are a few that I would dare say are false period, as they twist scripture more than not. Making a mistake here and there does not mean they are a false teacher, just human. If people knew all that I believed, I am sure some would include me as a false teacher also only because they disagree with my understanding of scripture. Instead of labeling a person for being off on a few points as a false teacher, prove that the point you disagree with is wrong in the framework they put it in. It is so easy to place labels on others, but remember, how we judge others is how we will be judged. Matthew 7:2 states "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you."

  43. In the beginning I was quite annoying, uninformed and wasted alot of time believing that God sent me to preach out of a book about the wonderful news of his son Jesus. Then, I started growing in my faith and stopped seeking to instruct people out of a book. I had become as one who sought to teach out of the law (scriptures) neither understanding what was written or what I affirmed. I had a change that happened to me that took me to another level of teaching the gospel. A man took me out into the streets to minister to the lost, sick and dying in the streets. He taught me how to lead them to ask me how I do what I do and that opened up the door to a real conversation about the power of Christ in me. This week I had the honor of being a part of another atheist converting to Christ. I do talk to them about what the Bible says when they are ready to receive it. The atheist I was led to minister to had attempted suicide 2 weeks ago but failed. A week later he is getting to know his Creater and becoming free from that which had him bound on a path of certain death. I say all this to say it is great that your asking questions. I needed a "Paul" to lead me to understand how to be more effective in my witnessing. But the gospel is more than words, it is a demonstration of the power of Christ in us convincing the world of their need for him. God love ya!

Family are the first to remind you of who you were and reject anything else but preconceived ideas they have of you. As for people you don't already know, pray for an entrance to the topic. God will provide one. For me, it is easiest to enter into this kind of conversation through where they may be having trouble. God will also show you this in them.

All that is needed is to LET GO,the only hindrance to Holy Spirit is self(flesh) I'm sure you heard the saying"Let go & let God"....it is true, focus on Your Relationship with God in Christ Jesus ......listen to His Still Small Voice and always test the spirits,we can never trust our feelings(urges) & that is why you must know what you know(Gods Word)& not listen to our own heart & mind that are of the flesh Fill your Spirit with the Word of God,seek Him in His Word & He Will Reveal Himself to you......then you will walk in Spirit & in Truth & know the difference With love-in Christ,Kwik

  49. I don't see this as an authority issue in the scriptures. The scriptures talk about headship of the husband and of Jesus. Headship comes with a lot of responsibility, the least of which is telling others what to do. It's also important to see that if you can't fight gives responsibilities to all concerned and they are not dependent on others fulfilling their responsibilities. Jesus does everything required of him as head of the church and doesn't need to be told what to do for obvious reasons. However as humans we do need Jesus's Direction at all times and as such it's a paramount importance that the husband and wife both have a well-established relationship with God in order for their marriage to work properly. If men are properly instructed in their responsibilities of headship, and follow their admonition to love their wives as Christ loved the church then it will go a long way to alleviating conflict that is bound to arise in any marriage. Also if women are properly instructed in what submission actually means and the husband understands what submission actually means then there will be no conflict in that regard as well. Many seem to be aware of Ephesians 5 :22-33, but at the same time they miss what Ephesians 5:21. We all as Servants of God must start with a submissive spirit and go from there. The instruction from Paul starts at verse 21 and moves on from there. We start with being submissive to one another as Brothers and Sisters in Christ and then let everything else fall in place. There is indeed an Order that God wants to have in the body and that order has certain steps that must be complied with at all times. Above all, love of the brethren is the beginning of that order.
