  2. Unless you can support your views with Scripture, they can only be seen as your personal ideas. As to judging abortionists, they judge themselves by depriving others of their lives.
  3. This is what is so amazing about what HE did .... LOVE CAME ... and made a way ... HE IS the Way!!! For God so loved, He sent.... while we were still sinners, Jesus came .... bridged the way for us back to the Father ... all by love .... He loved and and we love Him in return .... and now, everything we do hinges on that LOVE! OH, He is SO GOOD!!!!! This is actually something I was thinking to make a post on last night because it was on my mind... we all need a reminder sometimes, that we cannot merit salvation by anything we've done or can do .... if that were so, we wouldn't need a Savior. I really believe that it's that sort of thinking that will keep many "good people" from making Heaven.... trusting in themselves (flesh) to work their way into Heaven ... instead of the only One worthy and unblemished Lamb of God - Jesus Christ.
  4. Welcome top 20 glad you are here look forward to hearing from you. God bless!

  7. My friend start to abuse me. Mentally and emotionally. Accusing. Blaming, blameshifting, projecting, not want truth, im a bad bad person all me, hes livid, he doesnt want to move anywhere, wants to force us to live here despite contract soon expires and its up to insecurities as loan and landlord/estate agents willingness to compromise. Please pray the landlord and estate agent agrees to let us pay only three months upfront. That would secure this house for us preventing us possible homelessness. Please pray he stops abusing me and see what hes doing and becomes normal. thank you
  8. Some folks understood this post-- some did not-- they only way a person can get into heaven is to be completely spotless and sin free-- the Ten Commandments are the standard for Holiness. if a person breaks a single commandment they no longer are spotless and do not qualify for entry into Heaven. even if they obey the second of the two which Jesus said are the greatest- they still can not do it perfectly, hence they do not qualify for heaven~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BUT (this is the good news) Jesus did keep the law perfectly- and he offers his righteousness to us, if we accept it by faith only . When I knock on the door of Heaven and the Father says you have broken the commandments- you do not qualify for entry, I will say-- Yes Father, I know- But Jesus did not break the commandments but he paid the sin debt for me and offered me his righteousness and I believe it , so I do qualify for heaven, not by my efforts, but by Jesus' efforts, And the Father will smile and say, I know I've been waiting for you, welcome home son. You to can qualify for heaven, not by baptism, not by church membership, not by trying to keep the commandments, not by "loving others"---- but by faith that Jesus paid the sin price for you and lived a perfect life for you-- faith and faith alone
  9. Ezra hit a really good point. This is an opinion post for the most part. Scripture was used but it was used but used incorrectly. There are many verses of scripture that talk about how humans are humans at conception. There is no denying that fact. Isaiah 44:24 "This is what the LORD says-- your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself" Psalm 139:13-16 " For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them." We could go on but the point is man is wicked and sinful and wants nothing to do with God or his Word. So they try to mask sin by calling it something else. They use the term abortion because it sounds innocent. It is a false sense of security. Abortion is murder plan and simple. Life begins at conception and to think otherwise is just plain wrong. Humans are born from humans. They are not fetuses, etc. They are human beings from start to finish. As Ezra said above unless you can prove from scripture that your viewpoint on murdering babies is right in God's eyes then you are speaking opinion and sadly that opinion is very flawed.
  10. I've been moving...oh boy, what a headache!
  11. Spoken of by Jeremiah of us Jer 31:33 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. KJV Realized by us 2 Cor 3:3 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart KJV Reasoned in study by Bob Utley Quote "Jeremiah 31:33 "I will write it" As YHWH wrote the Ten Commandments before Moses on Mt. Sinai (cf. Ex 31:18; 32:15-16; 34:1,28), He now writes on the human heart by His Spirit. The new covenant is a new internal code from a restored image of God! This faith relationship has always been the plan of God (cf. Lev 26:41; Deut 10:16; 30:6; Jer 4:4; 9:25-26)." (from Old Testament Commentary, by Bob Utley, Copyright © 2013 by Bible Lessons International. All rights reserved.) The mind set of do to get is replaced with do because it is the way I love God... it is s/Spirit and it cannot be altered because God has written it there on the fleshy parts. We can never sin again and it be right... always repentance for and continual turning to in all avenues of life and Godliness... Love, Steven
  12. tell me which of the ten commandments that those in the blue broke, for Jesus says he's sending them to hell for not keeping His second commandment..... and, yes it appears that a person can be sent to hell for not keeping the two commandments that Jesus gave us...
  13. A hearty Welcome from me to you! blessings
  14. Praying for you, and for this friend. In my books a friend should not treat you this way, and until he sees that this behaviour is wrong it will not change --only he can change himself. Yes, all of us make mistakes and sin --but that why we ask God to forgive us --and forgive us for our sins.! For In Jesus Holy name we are purified! And we can come to the throne -on our knees to ask for this forgiveness ! Oh sweet one-- you are a child of God - and He gives you this Word: 1 Corinthians 13New King James Version (NKJV) The Greatest Gift 13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" Be Blessed. 🌸

Let's not forget the RCC and also all other false religions. The religion of the Antichrist will be a blend of all the false religions of the world, along with the worship of the Abomination of Desolation. He will manage to persuade the world supernaturally that he is indeed God. The world rejected the true God -- the Lord Jesus Christ -- but it will gladly welcome this false and blasphemous god.
  16. Post, Again and again, you have written your (theologically) out of context opinions, and honestly...... what you do write,..... cant be deciphered. so, no need to follow up. Thx, <B><
  17. As ive not said anything about Jesus being "raised", or about him being a "different God", i assume you must be making something else up. Now, here is one of the things you need to consider......When you are reading the New Testament, you have to realize the TIME and SITUATION and the AUDIENCE that is being addressed. So, If this is not the BORN AGAIN CHURCH that is being addressed, then you have to be careful not to try to CREATE DOCTRINE from verses that are not designed as doctrine. Dont do that.
  18. post,- This verse you are twisting out of Context, has to do with when Jesus was ON the earth, before he died on a Cross, and before the Holy Spirit was given. He is talking to those disciples who were chosen by him at that time. This is not you, and this is not the believers who are born again AFTER Jesus died on a Cross, as that is a completely different situation. So, plz stop twisting verses and misapplying context to try to prove your heresy. Thx, <B><
  19. Just a test. In this case, I used Open Office Writer (a free program) to compose, and then copy/paste, into Worthy Forums. I told it to create an html file, then copied the text from that after writing it. Color size bold italic underscore highlighted subtext supertext As you can see, you can play a lot. I do not suggest choosing from the list of fonts though. I might look o.k. on your screen, but not the the worthy system text or the reader's screen. Left Center Right If this works, you can see it gives a lot of control to the appearance of your posts. It is easy to use, and does not log you out in the middle or your composing It gives you a chance, to proof-read, even to save, and come back in ten or twenty minutes after you have cooled off, and look at it with fresh eyes So, this may be one way to slightly improve your post quality. May become obsolete, if the standard Worthy Editor is later improved. For now, type it out, perfect it, copy and paste it when ready. Omegaman 3.0 Postscript: You can do tables also this way! Verse NASB KJV John 1:1-5 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Another postscript: I suppose that it would have been helpful to tell people where to get that program. Not always a good practice to post links offsite. However, as I said, the name of the program is Open Office, you could look it up, but there is a posibility, that there are similar programs, similarly names programs, and even people trying to sucker you in to some site that is not the right one. Always use caution and due diligence, before trusting sites, links, or following recommendations of others. Even Worthy gets people who do not have your best interest at heart. Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. The official website is called openoffice.org , and this product has been around a long long time.
  20. Two versions and a story, at https://theimmortaljukebox.com/2015/12/15/johnny-cash-brother-claude-ely-aint-no-grave/ I heard the slow Johnny Cash version of Ain't No Grave as a dirge, and wondered of it's origin. That's how I first learned of Brother Claude Ely and his music. Though I am not the least bit a Pentecostal, I do love the story of Brother Claude Ely, his possible effect upon early rockabilly and some music stars, but mostly i just love the lift of his tone, his spirit, or the Holy Spirit, as Brother Ely revels in praise and encouragement. An excerpt from the story of the song and Brother Ely includes this note..." Brother Claude was born in Pucketts Creek, Virginia in 1922. He was brought up in the Pentecostal Holiness tradition and it soon became clear that Claude was one of those who felt the spirit profoundly. The legend goes that he wrote, ‘Ain’t No Grave’ as a TB stricken 12 year old in 1934. A Sears guitar was brought to him in his sick bed and then .. ‘By the hand of God my fingers began to play the chords and a voice came into my mouth to sing. From that day on I have been playing guitar and singing’."... Many have done and still do versions of this song including a good one by Russ Taff with the Gaither group, but none have the Spirit as Brother Ely, nor the soul longing as Cash does. Though of the "entertainers", Russ Taff is very very good, far above the many others that do this song more as entertainment than as praise and prayer and confident plea.

  22. Hubby's dad was very controlling but my husband married a woman who raised to be very independent in her thinking and not according to traditional roles. Early on he found this frustrating, so he established territories. Some things are his things and I shouldn't touch them. But he turned over finances to me. I have a lot of say as to major purchases, but food and taking meds are his territory. If we go out to eat I get to choose where but he chooses what he eats, and fixes his own food at home. I got to pick out a house and a car but he is in charge of home and car repairs. Nor do I help in packing the car when we go on vacation--can't even bring things out to the car. So it is a strange relationship in many people's minds, but it has works well for us for 53 years. When he retired he took over household chores, which was frustrating to me because when I pitched in to do my part he told me how to do them even when it was WRONG! Now that his health is failing he is unable to do many things because he can't turn his head to the right and has reduced use of his hands. I have been asking our sons to help with repairs and he gives instructions. So they are learning how as well. It is hard for him to relinquish even the things he hated doing like plumbing. But he retains dignity in teaching them how to do it. And we pay the grandkids to do lawn care, which helps them out as well. Our sons won't accept pay.
  23. Here is an interesting site disproving John Todd as a liar http://jesus-is-savior.com/Evils in America/Rock-n-Roll/john_todd.htm It seems he is dead too... http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/John_Todd He was also arrested in the 80's on sexual assault charges This guy is simply far too obsessed with Satanism. That is not what the true Christian evangelical should be about. You need to leave this man. Stop listening to him
  24. Wrong? The pope kissing Koran and acknowledging the Bible and Koran the same? Matter of public record. The antichrist hidden in plain sight is Biblical, notwithstanding the religious denomination bias...it is still Biblical...2nd thess 2 3&4 and Revelation 17
  25. Hi bonnieschamberger and Kwikphilly I have yet to see "The Passion" i have it but just cant sit still long enough to watch a movie.Ha! .. I think Kari Jobe is great thanks for sharing.. God bless
  26. Hi Ezra, No I am not confusing them. `I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words, which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, & its body destroyed & given to the burning flame.` (Dan: 7: 11) Quite obviously the same as the beastly government & beastly leader who was cast into the lake of fire. `Then the beast was captured .....& cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.` (Rev. 19: 20) Marilyn.
  27. That's a strong possibility in light of what is occurring globally. However, another possibility I lean toward is that; somehow the Lord is going to deal them a death blow. One so severe the Muslim's are going to wake up and realize their religion is one flatout lie and it will be abandoned. One sixth of SW Iran (Elam) is going to be dealt with harshly, Damascus, Syria and Egypt are going to be destroyed. In addition, in the Gog / Magog war of Eze 38: 39, many of Israel's Muslim enemies are going to be destroyed. It is my opinion most of this will occur prior to or at the beginning of the seven year tribulation period. I would suspect all this will happen in a relatively short time frame? I suspect sometime during this maylay it will be found out why America is not directly mentioned in Daniel or Revelation during the end-times. The woman who rides the beast definitely is not Islam. I find no mention or hints of Islam mentioned in Daniel or Revelation during the tribulation. Could be wrong but just my thoughts...
  28. The heart beat of Paul’s new message can be summed up this way. Jesus took care of the sin wall. (Acts 13:38-39) Sins are no longer merely covered, they are now completely paid for, completely forgiven, completely taken out of the way. Jesus removed the alienation sin wall, all inclusive, all upfront; that’s why Jesus could say, “It’s finished.” So difficult for people to accept and appropriate. Far easier for ministers of righteousness to give people a way to come and get right with God and to do it on a daily or weekly bases. If they can give you a way to come and get right with God, they got you and your wallet. People are doing it every week, coming back to try to find a way to get right and stay right with God when it was Jesus who made us right with God. The only way the wall could ever be removed forever was for Jesus to give his life to bring that wall down once and for all. That’s the most tremendous message the world could ever hear. It’s this message Satan hates the most because that wall means alienation and separation and removal of that wall means reconciliation. God can now totally accept people even though people are sinful because all sin has been paid for once and for all! God is glorified in the fact that there is no more wall. Satan doesn’t want God to be glorified.
  29. Ok, somethings not right. I aced it. Gave me an A+. Maybe if I had to spell it out myself it would have given me a picture of a brick and all their sympathies to my teachers. lol
  30. From what I have seen of some of enoobs spelling I think that the quiz is rigged if enoob got an A+
  31. Genesis 1:1 shouldn’t have happened.
  32. Romans 12:3, faith’s standard. A person who believes that sin in others proves a lack of salvation is a person who’s over looking the sin in themselves. That individual is thinking more highly of themselves than they ought. Bent towards self never disappears. We all have a bent towards an idolatry mind-set at times. Paul didn’t expect it to disappear. Paul didn’t say eliminate your sin nature all together, instead Paul said mortify it, meaning render it functionally inoperative. In other words, don’t allow it to reach it’s final culmination which is separation and division. While it will always be present with you, you don’t have to allow it to rule and reign in your life or to fracture others who happen across your path. Viewing God appropriately, viewing ourselves appropriately and viewing other appropriately.
  33. You are speaking of soul sleep that the soul and the body stay in the grave?
  34. Well how about that! I have declared often that I am the world's only freewill Calvinist. Now I learn I am not. I don't know if my faith is shaken or confirmed. As to freewill; from the human view, which I have of necessity and of limitation, I do have free will. Yet my freewill does not allow me to resist an irresistible God. Least not this side of my sanity it does not. I was called, the specific call to me, by the Holy Spirit in such terms that I would not be able to resist. I find this call described in my Bible, just as I do the other so called five points of Calvinism, which as has been memtioned is not from Calvin at all. And was successfully defended at the Synod of Dort. Arminius and his followers really renewing, just raising again, the older argument going back to Pelagius, from around AD 400+-,and also at later councils. I was unaware of any camps of thought at all when I was called into my salvation by the grace, mercy and totally unmerited by me salvation. It was not necessary for me to have any awareness whatsoever of Calvin nor Arminius. It wasn't even necessary for me to know five point s of much of anything. All I did was say in response to a description of the purpose of Jesus's sacrifice on the cross was -"If that's true I want it." Over many years I have learned to read with some comprehension the passages and Books of the Bible along with learning to pray and to think. And that has lead me to see that my Bible affirms what is called Calvinism TULIP. To me Hyper-Calvinism is nothing Biblical. It is not even Calvinistic. For the Bible tells me that we are to go into all the world sharing the gospel of Jesus with all that will hear. And that we are to do so for a purpose- That many may be presented as mature in Christ Jesus. I do not see where any saint saves anyone, that is not the obedience Jesus has set for us. It is the Holy Spirit that makes specific call and convicts the unaware. I do not call anyone unsaved, as I understand that all that were given to Jesus were foreknown and those foreknown are predestined. It doesn't matter when they each become aware for they were known to God from before time itself. I that very specific and important sense they have always been saved. And Jesus the Good Shepherd having been given the sheep of His flock does not lose a one. If He does not lose a one I don't see how any foreknown and predestined saint can possibly lose their salvation. My responsibility to my Lord Jesus is to share of His gospel. It is not my privilege nor my ability to save anyone, not even myself. And that is so I will not have to deal with pride in self, all Glory is God's alone. Praise God. If that happens to co-incide with Calvinism, count me as a Calvinist, otherwise I am not a Calvinist.
  35. What spirit do you imagine dwelt in Jesus? look at the context you think is missing and falsely accuse me of "twisting" "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” (John 6:63-65) He is talking about the Spirit, and the life of the Spirit, and He says His words are spirit. But you say this has nothing to do with the Spirit. He is talking about who believes and who does not believe -- which He knew from the beginning, regardless of individual 'agency' to 'choose' to believe. He directly refutes the idea that anyone can choose to believe without being enabled by the Father to do so. You are defending Pelagianism, an historical heresy. I have scripture, I have the Spirit, I have the words of Jesus Christ Himself, and I have every church council since 300 AD condemning what you say. You have: your opinion. There is the truth. Jesus Himself said it. If you refuse to believe Him, out of your vanity, why should you believe me? So i will no longer speak to you about it. Don't bother replying.
  36. This describes my beliefs. It is not hard core 5 point Calvinism. But it definitely is not Arminianism It is closer to 4 point Calvinism T (Total Depravity) The Calvinists rightly teach that all descendants of Adam are by nature totally corrupt in spiritual matters. People do not have freedom of the will to turn to God in faith or cooperate in their conversions (Eph. 2:1; John 3:5-6; Rom. 8:7). [1Co 1:18 NKJV For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God]. [1Co 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.] is only through the grace and call of God that we are given faith to believe and repent. At the time we feel like we are choosing to turn away from sin, come to and follow Christ. But later we can look back and see how God had been working in our lives to bring us to this point. U (Unconditional predestination) Scripture does teach that it is by grace that God has predestinated the elect to eternal salvation and given them justifying faith. [Act 13:48 WEB As the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God. As many as were appointed to eternal life believed.] is not because of any condition fulfilled by them (2 Tim. 1:9; Eph. 1:4-6; Phil. 1:29). However, the Bible does not teach, as do the Calvinists, that some are predestined for damnation. God wants all to be saved (1 Tim 2:4 God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.) L (Limited atonement) It is true that Christ died for the church and purchased it with His blood (Eph. 5:25; Acts 20:28). Furthermore, His atoning death does not mean that all people are saved (1 Cor. 1:18). However, Jesus died for all (2 Cor. 5:15 He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again) [1Ti 4:10 WEB For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we have set our trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.] .I (Irresistible grace) We agree that God makes us alive by His mighty power, without our aid (Eph. 2:5; John 1:13). But Scripture warns we can resist God’s gracious call (Matt. 23:37; Acts 7:51; 2 Cor. 6:1). And some people do resist God’s grace, or all would be saved (1 Tim 2:4). Furthermore, God warns us not to resist His grace (2 Cor. 6:1; Heb. 4:7). P (Perseverance in grace) We affirm with Scripture that those who are predestined to salvation cannot be lost but will continue by God’s power to a blessed end (Rom. 8:30; 1 Peter 1:5). Scripture does teach, however, that those who come to faith can lose that faith (Heb. 6:4-6; 10:26-29; Ps. 51:11). [Heb 3:12 NKJV Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "TODAY," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,] God urges His people not to continue in sin but to live in repentance and faith (Rom. 6:1-4). partly from Churches in America by Dr. Thomas Manteufel; p. 41 (St. Louis: CPH, 1994). edited by myself
  37. GREAT,FANTASTIC,EXCELLENT,AMEN!!!! We certainly would be "out of our League" to even imagine we could, for one moment, understand His Ways,,,,,, He is indeed omniscient & He has indeed given us,FREE WILL With love-in Christ<kwik
  38. Guest

A question to then ask is: what would be the point of God giving man free will in the first place, if He would decide what their ultimate fate was? The Lord wants people to love Him freely: to choose who would and would not love Him would essentially place the fault of sin on God, as He could have simply made us to love Him without the ability to say "no". But then man would have been little more than a fleshly "robot", and it would not have been love at all. True love means the possibility of not loving, and that is what makes it true: you have the chance to walk away, but you want to be with that person because of who they are. And that is what God wanted.
  39. I definitely shun Calvinism in it's orthodox form. It just doesn't fit the gospel of the Bible to me. But - I think that classic Arminians believe you can lose your salvation - someone correct me on that if I am wrong. Ergo - I am neither.
