  2. Unless you can support your views with Scripture, they can only be seen as your personal ideas. As to judging abortionists, they judge themselves by depriving others of their lives.
  3. This is what is so amazing about what HE did .... LOVE CAME ... and made a way ... HE IS the Way!!! For God so loved, He sent.... while we were still sinners, Jesus came .... bridged the way for us back to the Father ... all by love .... He loved and and we love Him in return .... and now, everything we do hinges on that LOVE! OH, He is SO GOOD!!!!! This is actually something I was thinking to make a post on last night because it was on my mind... we all need a reminder sometimes, that we cannot merit salvation by anything we've done or can do .... if that were so, we wouldn't need a Savior. I really believe that it's that sort of thinking that will keep many "good people" from making Heaven.... trusting in themselves (flesh) to work their way into Heaven ... instead of the only One worthy and unblemished Lamb of God - Jesus Christ.
  4. Welcome top 20 glad you are here look forward to hearing from you. God bless!

  7. My friend start to abuse me. Mentally and emotionally. Accusing. Blaming, blameshifting, projecting, not want truth, im a bad bad person all me, hes livid, he doesnt want to move anywhere, wants to force us to live here despite contract soon expires and its up to insecurities as loan and landlord/estate agents willingness to compromise. Please pray the landlord and estate agent agrees to let us pay only three months upfront. That would secure this house for us preventing us possible homelessness. Please pray he stops abusing me and see what hes doing and becomes normal. thank you
  8. Some folks understood this post-- some did not-- they only way a person can get into heaven is to be completely spotless and sin free-- the Ten Commandments are the standard for Holiness. if a person breaks a single commandment they no longer are spotless and do not qualify for entry into Heaven. even if they obey the second of the two which Jesus said are the greatest- they still can not do it perfectly, hence they do not qualify for heaven~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BUT (this is the good news) Jesus did keep the law perfectly- and he offers his righteousness to us, if we accept it by faith only . When I knock on the door of Heaven and the Father says you have broken the commandments- you do not qualify for entry, I will say-- Yes Father, I know- But Jesus did not break the commandments but he paid the sin debt for me and offered me his righteousness and I believe it , so I do qualify for heaven, not by my efforts, but by Jesus' efforts, And the Father will smile and say, I know I've been waiting for you, welcome home son. You to can qualify for heaven, not by baptism, not by church membership, not by trying to keep the commandments, not by "loving others"---- but by faith that Jesus paid the sin price for you and lived a perfect life for you-- faith and faith alone
  9. Ezra hit a really good point. This is an opinion post for the most part. Scripture was used but it was used but used incorrectly. There are many verses of scripture that talk about how humans are humans at conception. There is no denying that fact. Isaiah 44:24 "This is what the LORD says-- your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself" Psalm 139:13-16 " For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them." We could go on but the point is man is wicked and sinful and wants nothing to do with God or his Word. So they try to mask sin by calling it something else. They use the term abortion because it sounds innocent. It is a false sense of security. Abortion is murder plan and simple. Life begins at conception and to think otherwise is just plain wrong. Humans are born from humans. They are not fetuses, etc. They are human beings from start to finish. As Ezra said above unless you can prove from scripture that your viewpoint on murdering babies is right in God's eyes then you are speaking opinion and sadly that opinion is very flawed.
  10. I've been moving...oh boy, what a headache!
  11. Spoken of by Jeremiah of us Jer 31:33 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. KJV Realized by us 2 Cor 3:3 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart KJV Reasoned in study by Bob Utley Quote "Jeremiah 31:33 "I will write it" As YHWH wrote the Ten Commandments before Moses on Mt. Sinai (cf. Ex 31:18; 32:15-16; 34:1,28), He now writes on the human heart by His Spirit. The new covenant is a new internal code from a restored image of God! This faith relationship has always been the plan of God (cf. Lev 26:41; Deut 10:16; 30:6; Jer 4:4; 9:25-26)." (from Old Testament Commentary, by Bob Utley, Copyright © 2013 by Bible Lessons International. All rights reserved.) The mind set of do to get is replaced with do because it is the way I love God... it is s/Spirit and it cannot be altered because God has written it there on the fleshy parts. We can never sin again and it be right... always repentance for and continual turning to in all avenues of life and Godliness... Love, Steven
  12. tell me which of the ten commandments that those in the blue broke, for Jesus says he's sending them to hell for not keeping His second commandment..... and, yes it appears that a person can be sent to hell for not keeping the two commandments that Jesus gave us...
  13. A hearty Welcome from me to you! blessings
  14. Praying for you, and for this friend. In my books a friend should not treat you this way, and until he sees that this behaviour is wrong it will not change --only he can change himself. Yes, all of us make mistakes and sin --but that why we ask God to forgive us --and forgive us for our sins.! For In Jesus Holy name we are purified! And we can come to the throne -on our knees to ask for this forgiveness ! Oh sweet one-- you are a child of God - and He gives you this Word: 1 Corinthians 13New King James Version (NKJV) The Greatest Gift 13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" Be Blessed. 🌸

Let's not forget the RCC and also all other false religions. The religion of the Antichrist will be a blend of all the false religions of the world, along with the worship of the Abomination of Desolation. He will manage to persuade the world supernaturally that he is indeed God. The world rejected the true God -- the Lord Jesus Christ -- but it will gladly welcome this false and blasphemous god.
  16. Post, Again and again, you have written your (theologically) out of context opinions, and honestly...... what you do write,..... cant be deciphered. so, no need to follow up. Thx, <B><
  17. As ive not said anything about Jesus being "raised", or about him being a "different God", i assume you must be making something else up. Now, here is one of the things you need to consider......When you are reading the New Testament, you have to realize the TIME and SITUATION and the AUDIENCE that is being addressed. So, If this is not the BORN AGAIN CHURCH that is being addressed, then you have to be careful not to try to CREATE DOCTRINE from verses that are not designed as doctrine. Dont do that.
  18. post,- This verse you are twisting out of Context, has to do with when Jesus was ON the earth, before he died on a Cross, and before the Holy Spirit was given. He is talking to those disciples who were chosen by him at that time. This is not you, and this is not the believers who are born again AFTER Jesus died on a Cross, as that is a completely different situation. So, plz stop twisting verses and misapplying context to try to prove your heresy. Thx, <B><
  19. Hello, I wanted to know about scriptures pertaining to this. I know there are plenty speaking against false teachers and prophets. My problem is there is a certain “healing evangelist” who married into my family. He has caused quite a bit of division in the family. He is one of the most narcissistic people I have ever known. He doesn’t even try to hide it. And he only ever talks about churches in terms of money. “This one gets about $500 a week. This one is $1,000 a week.” (That’s not an exaggeration. ) He is very judgmental of some of my family which is why the division has happened. I could go on and on. The members of my family who are struggling and somewhat skeptical of Christianity, become even more skeptical because of people like him, which is frustrating. But what bothers me most is he has nearly died refusing to go to the doctor due to the fact it shows “lack of faith” and he’s the healing evangelist after all. He’s married to a very close family member, who I adore and who is older and tries to convince her not to go to the doctor when she is sick. He makes her feel guilty like she isn’t trusting God, and this obviously makes me incredibly angry because now he could potentially hurt her. This has happened a few times recently, others have been able to convince her to go to the doctor anyways. However, anytime I speak out against him, my mother says to be careful because the Bible says you should not speak against a man of God. My argument is that he isn’t a man of God. Her reasoning is that he isn’t aware of the way he is. Which after thoughtful consideration, I don’t think he does realize what he is doing is wrong. But would anyone full of pride who turned church into a money-making business see it as wrong? Wouldn’t they all justify it in their hearts somehow? I seriously doubt they go to church everyday saying, “I know this is wrong and I don’t care.” So, is that an excuse for their behavior? And is it a serious offense to “speak against them?” I know I have some bitterness towards him that I need to deal with but it’s because I don’t want him to hurt anyone. And I can't just let it go. I would try talking to him but he won't listen to anyone. If a pastor even tries to disagree with him, he refuses to go back to that church. The guy is not open to feedback at all. Edit: Maybe I should have posted this under, "Have a problem? Looking for Advice?"
  20. Our son attends a vineyard church; I prefer the expository preaching of the Calvary Chapel I attend. They left it because it is puts emphasis on the preaching of the Word. AMEN! Hubby's favorite coping mechanism is denial. In other words, he doesn't cope.
  21. Wouldn't you agree Saktmodig that if God calls murder sin then should I call murder sin? God is the rule by which we go by not our opinion. I am not judging I am just calling sin what it is. It is very sad that you are ok with murder when God calls it sin. I mean God makes it very clear that murder is sin. Exodus 20:13 ""You shall not murder." I am not sure how we can skirt around this fact that God says it is wrong. But again Satan has a way of disguising sin as something that seems like a lesser evil.
  22. Still are, ask of the Sioux at South Dakota if they consider their burial grounds to be sacred today. "Jesus Is Buried 38 After these things Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus, and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took away his body.39 Nicodemus also, who earlier had come to Jesus by night, came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds in weight. 40 So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. 41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. 42 So because of the Jewish day of Preparation, since the tomb was close at hand, they laid Jesus there."
  23. Praying for you both and this situation!!
  24. It's in Ephesians ch 6 verse 4. The new KJV translates it like this " 4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord." I've seen too many parents make their children so angry at them that the kids misbehave just because you told them not to. With this issue, I would tell my kids that no matter how much you love the girl you have to be careful you don't make her pregnant. (Assuming he already knows that) With a girl I'd say something like I know you feel love for this boy. But you have to make sure he doesn't get you pregnant. As a parent I know they are going to kiss each other and I know most guys are going to go as far as the girl allows them to. If you raised your son right he will respect the girl and stop when she says that's enough. Likewise, if you raised your daughter right she will respect herself and tell the guy to stop when he gets close to her pants. With a girl it's really important that she knows and believes her father (or mother if that's all she has) love her. Guys will tell a girl anything once they get excited. They lose their common sense. So if the girl knows her parents love her she won't want them to be disappointed in her and if this is done right she will tell the boy to stop. But if you try to teach morality by making the kids angry or by making them think you don't understand what being a teen feels like then you're doing what Ephesians Ch 6 is saying to not do.
  25. You are welcome Kwik, thanks for appreciating it. If it proves too difficult, maybe I will make a more detailed post on the ins and outs of using it, either a video, or a step by step tutorial with screen shots (like I do not have enough things to occupy my time).
  26. That was just my point to you. The author of that blog is in a "comfort zone" of his own refusing to believe God's Word. What I cited to you was what God said - not my natural thinking. Your issue is with the author of that blog, not me. Everything I said can be proven from God's Word. What the blogger said can be disproven by God's Words. Do YOU have your own words, brother?
  27. We see in Romans 3:10-17 that no one has a self defense plea that will successfully excuse them from being counted worthy of God’s wrath. The natural person is the person who can only perceive things that fit in with their own human reasoning. If something is not logical to the natural person’s way of thinking they refuses to believe it, whether God said it or not, they want to remain in their comfort zone. The human race has become quite adept at mixing poison with their speech. The words come out designed to appear innocuous, but lo and behold, there is something hidden under the lips of sinful people. While their words may appear harmless and unoffending, oftentimes these words are not benign words at all. They are insidiously designed by the speaker to be laced with character venom so as to contaminate the object of the speech. Swearing isn’t the meaning of the word, this word cursing has more to do with wishing harm on another; wishing ill will toward another person; bringing another under the condemnation of ill will due to the bitterness or animosity in our hearts. Every where a person goes, you can see the results of their having been there. Destruction and misery line the pathway of the human race. We could say that the footprint of sin is easily traced to the sinner. Sin renders lasting peace impossible.
  28. Paul’s the superintendent, the chief architect of the building project called the Body of the Savior. The blueprint, the plans were given to him by the risen ascended Savior. As the Savior committed to Paul the responsibility to lay this blueprint out on the table, spread it out for us so we might see what this blueprints all about. 1 Corinthians 3:11, Jesus is the foundation. No doubt about that. But Paul did not teach Jesus in the same matter that Jesus was being taught by those before Paul. The law was the blueprint for Israel’s program. Moses was the law giver. If you’re going to talk the talk you better walk the walk in the law program. Why should they observe and do all that the Pharisees bid them do, because the Pharisees according to Jesus in his earthly ministry were sitting in Moses sit. Matthew 23:3, Moses was in a very real sense the chief architect of the law program. Paul was given the blueprints for the building. Most are still trying to operate with the blueprints of another program. The Savior committed unto Paul the responsibility to lay the blueprint on the table before the work crew. So we might build in a manner worthy of reward.
  29. Have you read the epistle of 1st John? I think you are right there in what is delivered to the people of Christ, or as he calls them, little children, as per the other scriptures that speak of why he'd address the people so, and what is said about sin. Thank you for posting your thoughts here.
  30. Thanks, I really appreciate your prayers and your absolutely right about quoting the word...i've played it nonstop before too, for about a week. I will try to pray and read more...please pray for motivation and discipline for me in these areas. I will also pray for your marriage as well. God rewards those who persevere.
  31. Question: "Is religious iconography considered idolatry? What is an icon?" Answer: Broadly speaking, religious iconography is the artistic depiction of religious figures, often using symbolism. In Christianity, iconography features subjects such as Christ, Mary, or the saints. An icon is an image, usually painted on wood, that is to be venerated as a sacred object. Icons can also be engravings, mosaics, or embroideries. Although people who use icons in their worship would deny that they are practicing idolatry, it is difficult to see how “venerating” an object as “sacred” is different from idolatry. Although Catholics also venerate religious images, iconography is most often associated with the Eastern or Orthodox Church, which teaches that the use of icons during prayer helps the worshiper know God, be united with the holy saints, and develop the fruit of the Spirit. When an Orthodox Christian enters his church, he lights a candle, makes the sign of the cross, and then kisses the icons of Christ, the Theotokos (Mary), and the saints. The church sanctuary will contain many other “Holy Icons,” as they’re called. Orthodox Christians are to have icons at home, too, and the place where the icons are kept is where family prayers are offered. Icons are seen as an illustration of the Incarnation of Christ, who left His spiritual abode to dwell in a material world. The devout also believe that an icon is a window into heaven, and their veneration passes straight to heaven, where it is received by the person depicted in the icon. Some claim that icons have facilitated miracles. John Calvin and the other Protestant Reformers were iconoclasts; that is, they demanded the removal of icons from churches and homes. According to the Reformers, the veneration of icons and other religious artifacts was idolatry, and they were right. Any kissing of, bowing down before, or praying toward an icon is certainly idolatrous. Members of the Orthodox Church insist that they are not worshiping the paint and wood, but they admit that they give veneration, adoration, and reverence to the saints and Mary depicted in the icons. They pray to men and women; they ascribe to the icons a spiritual power that it does not possess. This is unbiblical. There is nothing wrong with producing or enjoying religious art, per se. Viewing a painting of a biblical scene in an art gallery and admiring the artist’s technique cannot be considered idolatry. Having a picture of Jesus or of angels in one’s home may not be idolatry, either. Iconography can be studied as an art form, and icons can be viewed as fascinating examples of historical religious art. But using icons to aid one’s worship or viewing them as a “window to heaven” is definitely idolatry. The Bible strictly forbids idolatry (Leviticus 26:1; Deuteronomy 5:9). God alone deserves to be bowed down to and worshiped. Icons are not intercessors before the throne of grace, and neither are the saints they represent. People in heaven do not have the power to hear our prayers or grant our requests. Only Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit can intercede for us before the Father (Romans 8:26–27, 34). We should stay as far away as we can from anything that could possibly lead to idolatry. https://www.gotquestions.org/religious-iconography.html
  32. Exodus 20:4-5 tells us: "You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them." Idols can be anything man made that we place above God. They do not have to be in a church to be an idol. They can be a new car, a trophy, money ... anything we strive for that we place above God and His will for us. Viewing and loving His creation is not idol worshiping, but loving His creation. There is a difference. Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches place tradition as equal to or more valuable then scripture, so you will see contradictions when comparing the church traditions to scripture.
  33. Rev. 15:2, And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire; and them that come off victorious from the beast, and from his image, and from the number of his name, standing by the sea of glass, having harps of God. The idea here seems to be of the floor of the great throne room of the heavenly temple being made of transparent glass with the appearance of fire or prismatic colors produced by the glory of God. Out of the throne proceed lightnings which would make prismatic colors flash upon the sea of glass like the aurora borealis (northern lights). The glory of God emanating from the light in which He dwells will light the whole city and cause the glittering on the sea of glass (Rev. 21:23; 1 Tim. 6:16).
  34. Where in Scripture does it say that heaven is in the 10th dimension?
  35. I completely agree. But what does that word 'watch' mean? Does it mean that we sit as couch potatoes waiting for that day or are we to be working for the Lord as we wait for that day? I believe it is latter. However I many Christians that the first question is very applicable to their lives. But I agree that Christians today are mesmerized by the world and what it has to offer. So yes there as to be adjustments. However I don't think those adjustments will be made until those things are taken away and the focus is put back on the Lord.
  36. Not if you substitute "versus" with "virus". This is not supposed to go viral.
  37. This is the proper understanding of predestination. Predestination means that a sinner made in the image of Adam will -- by God's grace and power -- be ultimately transformed into the image of Christ. That is a guarantee for each one who has the indwelling Holy Spirit and is a child of God (1 John 3:1-3). It is impossible that predestination would apply to salvation. If that were true then every human being would be predestined for salvation (which is Universalism), because salvation is offered to all.
  38. Blessings Peeps Didn't we just do this conversation or am I going nuts,,,,,I don't see my posts or the ones Angels put up explaining both ,,,,,,,was that another Thread?I feel like I've entered the twilight zone, lol Is this a different thread with the same Topic? Love,Kwik
  39. That could be difficult, depending on how you think about free will. If God chose people before the foundation of the world, and if His grace is irresitible, and if a person saved, cannot be lost, if total depravity is true, all of those points tend to speak against free will, at least as some understand it. Not properly part of TULIP by name, predestination is a big part of 'Calvinism", and that one bothers people a lot, especially those who cling to the notion of free will. We should ask though, since bopeep started this thread to sort of take the pulse, get a head count of how people beleive, if she wants to see the beliefs themselves, discussed and expounded, otherwise, we are going off topic!
  40. Hi Angels4U, I'm curious, which of the 5 "petals" of TULIP do you disagree with, "Limited Atonement"?
  41. Notes in the ESV Study Bible have this to say: The sea of glass appears in prophetic visions of God’s throne room (Ex. 24:10; Ezek. 1:22, 26; Rev. 15:2). It is the “floor” of heaven and the “ceiling” of the created universe, and its transparent tranquility shows heaven’s peace in contrast to earthly turmoil.
