  1. Unless you can support your views with Scripture, they can only be seen as your personal ideas. As to judging abortionists, they judge themselves by depriving others of their lives.

  2. Some folks understood this post-- some did not-- they only way a person can get into heaven is to be completely spotless and sin free-- the Ten Commandments are the standard for Holiness. if a person breaks a single commandment they no longer are spotless and do not qualify for entry into Heaven. even if they obey the second of the two which Jesus said are the greatest- they still can not do it perfectly, hence they do not qualify for heaven~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BUT (this is the good news) Jesus did keep the law perfectly- and he offers his righteousness to us, if we accept it by faith only . When I knock on the door of Heaven and the Father says you have broken the commandments- you do not qualify for entry, I will say-- Yes Father, I know- But Jesus did not break the commandments but he paid the sin debt for me and offered me his righteousness and I believe it , so I do qualify for heaven, not by my efforts, but by Jesus' efforts, And the Father will smile and say, I know I've been waiting for you, welcome home son. You to can qualify for heaven, not by baptism, not by church membership, not by trying to keep the commandments, not by "loving others"---- but by faith that Jesus paid the sin price for you and lived a perfect life for you-- faith and faith alone

  3. Ezra hit a really good point. This is an opinion post for the most part. Scripture was used but it was used but used incorrectly. There are many verses of scripture that talk about how humans are humans at conception. There is no denying that fact. Isaiah 44:24 "This is what the LORD says-- your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself" Psalm 139:13-16 " For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them." We could go on but the point is man is wicked and sinful and wants nothing to do with God or his Word. So they try to mask sin by calling it something else. They use the term abortion because it sounds innocent. It is a false sense of security. Abortion is murder plan and simple. Life begins at conception and to think otherwise is just plain wrong. Humans are born from humans. They are not fetuses, etc. They are human beings from start to finish. As Ezra said above unless you can prove from scripture that your viewpoint on murdering babies is right in God's eyes then you are speaking opinion and sadly that opinion is very flawed.

  4. Spoken of by Jeremiah of us Jer 31:33 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. KJV Realized by us 2 Cor 3:3 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart KJV Reasoned in study by Bob Utley Quote "Jeremiah 31:33 "I will write it" As YHWH wrote the Ten Commandments before Moses on Mt. Sinai (cf. Ex 31:18; 32:15-16; 34:1,28), He now writes on the human heart by His Spirit. The new covenant is a new internal code from a restored image of God! This faith relationship has always been the plan of God (cf. Lev 26:41; Deut 10:16; 30:6; Jer 4:4; 9:25-26)." (from Old Testament Commentary, by Bob Utley, Copyright © 2013 by Bible Lessons International. All rights reserved.) The mind set of do to get is replaced with do because it is the way I love God... it is s/Spirit and it cannot be altered because God has written it there on the fleshy parts. We can never sin again and it be right... always repentance for and continual turning to in all avenues of life and Godliness... Love, Steven

  5. tell me which of the ten commandments that those in the blue broke, for Jesus says he's sending them to hell for not keeping His second commandment..... and, yes it appears that a person can be sent to hell for not keeping the two commandments that Jesus gave us...

  6. Let's not forget the RCC and also all other false religions. The religion of the Antichrist will be a blend of all the false religions of the world, along with the worship of the Abomination of Desolation. He will manage to persuade the world supernaturally that he is indeed God. The world rejected the true God -- the Lord Jesus Christ -- but it will gladly welcome this false and blasphemous god.

  8. As ive not said anything about Jesus being "raised", or about him being a "different God", i assume you must be making something else up. Now, here is one of the things you need to consider......When you are reading the New Testament, you have to realize the TIME and SITUATION and the AUDIENCE that is being addressed. So, If this is not the BORN AGAIN CHURCH that is being addressed, then you have to be careful not to try to CREATE DOCTRINE from verses that are not designed as doctrine. Dont do that.

  9. post,- This verse you are twisting out of Context, has to do with when Jesus was ON the earth, before he died on a Cross, and before the Holy Spirit was given. He is talking to those disciples who were chosen by him at that time. This is not you, and this is not the believers who are born again AFTER Jesus died on a Cross, as that is a completely different situation. So, plz stop twisting verses and misapplying context to try to prove your heresy. Thx, <B><

  10. A friend asked me something the other day that really made me think. He said, "Do you think being adopted has had an effect on the way you see God, as opposed to someone who wasn't?" When he asked me that, my first thought was, "No, it's nothing special. God's the same to everyone." However, the more I think about that, the more I realize it isn't true. Some people put God in a box; they believe that He can't possibly solve their problems. Some people are still trying to "win" Him over by their good deeds, though they have been believers for years. Many people see someone altogether different, although we're all looking at the same God. I realize that I will never, ever understand God, because His ways are higher than my ways, and His thoughts are higher than my thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) With that being said, one thing I have learned about God is that He truly loves all of His children. "How deep the Father's love for us How vast, beyond all measure." That He should give His ONLY son To make a wretch His treasure" How true that song is. He loves us SO much, that it simply cannot be measured. He only had one begotten Son. He gave him up, sacrificed a part of Himself, to make all of us wretched, hopeless people His treasure. That sure does sound like adoption to me. Giving up parts of yourself to treasure a child that wasn't yours from the beginning. Another characteristic of God reflected by adoption: unconditional love. If you've been adopted, and you didn't receive unconditional love from that, my heart hurts for you. I did receive that, and it truly is amazing. I pushed my parents away time and again, and I know I hurt them deeply with my rejection. But don't we do that to God every day? And He never gives up. Thank God they didn't give up on me. Consider this: Do you think that a child, or anyone for that matter, can comprehend a God that gives unconditional love, that will never give up no matter how many times we push Him away, that will NEVER abandon us, if they've never been shown it? I don't. My adoption HAS changed the way I see God. You see, when someone has been abandoned, they have all these doubts and insecurities. Being adopted didn't magically fix this. My understanding of what that truly means, with my parents and with God, did. No magic. Just the understanding that I was chosen, even though I felt that there must be something wrong with me. My parents chose me. God chose me, although I am dirty, shameful, and inadequate. I revel in that! How amazing it is to know that I don't have to do it all, because I can't! But He loves me anyway. He chose me as His son, and He will always take care of me. I know my parents can't always take care of me, but I know they will never stop trying. I understand that God picked me up out of my insecurities, He didn't let go, and He changed my life. "...From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." -Luke 12:48 If you have much, love on some kids. Adopt them, or foster them. It won't be easy, actually it'll be really hard. But it's amazing being loved by a parent who didn't HAVE to love you. God calls us all to do just that. James 1:27 "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Thank you, Dad and Mom, for loving me unconditionally even though I put you guys through it over and over. I will never be able to express how thankful I am, or how loved I feel.

  12. Two versions and a story, at https://theimmortaljukebox.com/2015/12/15/johnny-cash-brother-claude-ely-aint-no-grave/ I heard the slow Johnny Cash version of Ain't No Grave as a dirge, and wondered of it's origin. That's how I first learned of Brother Claude Ely and his music. Though I am not the least bit a Pentecostal, I do love the story of Brother Claude Ely, his possible effect upon early rockabilly and some music stars, but mostly i just love the lift of his tone, his spirit, or the Holy Spirit, as Brother Ely revels in praise and encouragement. An excerpt from the story of the song and Brother Ely includes this note..." Brother Claude was born in Pucketts Creek, Virginia in 1922. He was brought up in the Pentecostal Holiness tradition and it soon became clear that Claude was one of those who felt the spirit profoundly. The legend goes that he wrote, ‘Ain’t No Grave’ as a TB stricken 12 year old in 1934. A Sears guitar was brought to him in his sick bed and then .. ‘By the hand of God my fingers began to play the chords and a voice came into my mouth to sing. From that day on I have been playing guitar and singing’."... Many have done and still do versions of this song including a good one by Russ Taff with the Gaither group, but none have the Spirit as Brother Ely, nor the soul longing as Cash does. Though of the "entertainers", Russ Taff is very very good, far above the many others that do this song more as entertainment than as praise and prayer and confident plea.

  13. More and more I think Islam is the beast of Rev 13. When they populate other countries they don't try to become a part but are a separate entity. In Rev 13 They make laws and change things so you cannot buy or sell. They insult Jesus by denying his lordship. Islam is slowly taking over the world. They make sharia law wherever they go. They have no go zones in city wherever they live. Someday they will outlaw Christianity and other faiths and will kill all who don't bow to there faith. Yes I do believe they are the beast of Dan 7 and reviews 13. It's starting to happen everywhere. Look at sweden and also the UK. Look at France too. It might take 20 more years to be complete.

  14. Who in the world are those involved in religion asking for forgiveness? From God! Therefore the assumption is, God’s not reconciled when they sin. In their mind they are separating themselves from God by their sin. Justification...Redemption...Propitiation...Remission...and Forbearance...all terms God wants people to acknowledge, to become familiar with, and to come to fully appreciate. Never make the mistake of thinking that these terms all mean the same thing. They do not. Each one has a distinct meaning all its own. Oftentimes, people will look at these terms and sort of lump them all together under a heading called forgiveness. To many people are trying to Christianize the flesh. One should never drive the train from emotions, but there are denominations living in the caboose, driving the train from the emotion standpoint, not living it from the doctrinal standpoint. But think about this: Is forgiveness the same thing as being justified or having someone else’s righteousness freely attributed to their account? They are not one and the same. The human race’s sins have all been forgiven, but forgiveness alone does not mean the person having forgiveness is as perfectly and totally righteous as the one who is doing the forgiving.

  23. I wanted to discuss why there are so much biting and going for a person, being harsh, trying to get person, in threads? I can only speak for myself, but each time, I post, almost, I get this treatment. Like theres no room for being different, or having another view in the christian walk. That doesnt mean, youre no christian just another..different. But I get more like trying to "get" me, being harsh or direct cruel towards me, or not accepting my different stance, when just not about the grounds. (Pillars of faith) accusations indirectly but very to the surface, blame, theres alot. Couldnt we just instead of what we believe, which will be different dogmas but the faith is the same, after all He will decide, and only He knows, wether we are sincere or not. Someone that have another stance on something (not about the pillars of faith) might see others as non christian because they differ. But just because you differ, doesnt mean, youre insincere with Christ.. Couldnt we just be loving, and kind, towards everyone, even though we dont have the same stance? So we dont devour eachother? But show the love we believe in? He would require that of us all. Im in a tough place in my life where I need more love than one would think. All this treatment made me very sad last night, so alone, and feeling like I didnt want to live anymore. As this just adds another burden on top of my already heavy load. You had me crying, people, and Im almost crying now. Is this how it shall be? Im thinking of eithdrawing my membership to this place. If God hadnt stepped in last night and filled me, I couldve left the faith too. Is this how far it should go? And no, Im not afraid of be weak. Its not weak. Its reality. Ive not even seen like this in "the world". Its becoming the same, the same, as Ive experienced in the church I was in before, long time ago. May this be a wakeup call to love. Im not saying Im perfect either, and if I have offended anyone, or hurt, I apologise, but I at least try as best I can, to be loving. If we just could stop and think, is this what Ive just said really gonna feel loving.

  24. 1 John 1:9 - “sins” is a Double Metonymy, a figure of speech that replaces the name of a thing with the name of something else with which it is closely associated. A Figure of speech relates to the form in which the words are used. It consists in the fact that a word or words are used out of their ordinary sense, or place, or manner, for the purpose of attracting our attention to what is thus said. A Figure of speech is a designed and legitimate departure from the laws of language, in order to emphasize what is said. John was writing to the Israelites, but to the necessity of that confession for the Israelites. Ezekiel 36:26-28, when will this national sanctification come to fruition? When Israel is willing to accept Jesus as their messiah and admit they swore falsely when they entered into a covenant with God vowing they could merit a righteous standing before him through their performance. The confession was indeed called for. It was not about confessing the three lies on Monday and the bad attitude on Wednesday, and the idolatrous thinking on Friday, it was not about any of that. It was not an option testimony in the days of Jesus, it was a requirement for the remission of sins. It was the way people could be identified with the faith associated with the confession of Leviticus 26:40. Israel was continually being called upon to repent, to change their thinking. John called upon the nation to repent, the 12 called upon Israel to repent, and Jesus called upon the nation to repent, God wanted them to change their thinking about the source of their righteousness and the identity of their Messiah.

  25. To be dead in sin and to be dead to sin, two different things. Both are identity truths. To be dead in sin is to be identified with the first Adam, Adam in rebellion. God chose to accomplish a person being declare righteous for them not by way of improved performance or sinful conduct elimination but by way of new identification. This identification is what Paul is talking about in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and it’s what the word Sanctification is all about. A person’s old identity is passed away. All things are become new for them because it’s a brand new identity they have in the second Adam. This new in the Savior identity is based solely upon your faith in Jesus’ faithful accomplishment where he died for your sins. The question is, why should you want to continue dealing with God in your daily life, or supposing that God is dealing with you according to your previous identity in the first Adam when God no longer views you from that standpoint at all? This is our identity reality and Paul wants us to appreciate it. Understand, this is an issue of vital importance, God told Paul a secret. Unsearchable simply means that which had never been made know, that which could never be search out about Jesus. The idea that Paul was simply taking the same message taught by John, taught by the 12 apostles, taught by Jesus during his earthly ministry, but Paul was taking that message in a different direction, same message, different direction. Something was different with Paul and something began with the apostle Paul. When Paul talks about placing no confidence in the flesh, he’s contrasting having Jesus’ righteousness freely imputed to the account of the believer with those who suppose that they can merit a righteous standing before God through commitment, through their performance, through their production. It’s only when we come to properly understand God from his perspective concerning ourselves, both before we came to understand Paul’s message and then what we are and who we are after we have believed Paul’s message and have been joined to God’s son, then we can be capable of viewing others and relating to others accordingly who are also members of the Savior’s body, of his flesh and of his bones. Ministers of righteousness teach the successful Christian life is all about reformed doing and commitments, they teach it wrong according to the apostle Paul. It’s all about transformed thinking. According to our apostle, the battle is taking place between the ears, between fleshy thinking and divine thinking. God’s work in us, not our work for God, major difference.

  27. Jesus has purchased the entire human race out from the marketplace of sin’s ability to condemn the sinner ever again. Do you see why sin is no longer the issue on the table of God’s justice in this age of grace? It’s no longer the issue in the judicial mind of God who received the payment. In Romans 3:25-26 we find that our magnificent redemption demanded a monumental price. The cost...was the death...and the shed blood...of God’s only begotten son Jesus, (the second Adam - Genesis 3:15). So justification, believing in what Jesus accomplished is a requirement in order to be justified or declared righteous. Who was it that purchased you, the sinner, out of the market place of sin through his shed blood? Did you pay the price to purchase you out of this issue called sins, or did Jesus pay the price? Look at the receipt shown in 1 Timothy 2:6. Was God only partially satisfied with the payment Jesus made for sins? Or was God fully satisfied where the payment made by his son for the sins of the world are concerned? When you think of Propitiation, think of payment satisfaction, because propitiation means just that, full satisfaction. Not only did Jesus cry out: “It is finished” from the tree of crucifixion, meaning his death for sins, his payment for sins was being brought to a conclusion, he could make that statement because he had fully accomplished what he had set out to do. Of course, that doesn’t mean that the world Jesus redeemed will accept the Redeemer, or the truth of their redemption for that matter so they can be placed into the Savior, Heaven worthy, at that point. The key word expression in connection with Paul’s teaching on Redemption: It would be delivered through ransom; deliverance through a ransom price, 1 Timothy 2:6.

  28. The wages of sin is death. To sin is to die or be separated from. To sin against another is to put something between you and them. Repentance is removing the obstacle causing the death or separation. I am dead while I live but alive unto God after I die to myself. This can only be achieved through Christ our Lord. I live in the spirit though my flesh be dead already. Who can separate me from the love of Christ? I am dead and my life is hidden in Christ. I present my body as a living sacrifices for his use and purpose that he might reconcile yet others unto God. I have eternal life abiding in me. I will never die because I am dead already.

  29. Paul had to remind people over and over again of his God given position. He had to remind them that he was not one of the 12. That his ministry was distinct and separate. His position was unique...that his message was brand new...that his ministry was different from that of the 12 and that it was divinely ordered. It wasn’t something he chose to do. Paul constantly had to emphasize his ministry, why? Because others were de-emphasizing his ministry. How many today would say we get our marching orders for the church today from the Apostle Paul and not from the 12? Tragically most people and sadly enough most Bible teaching pastors...most seminaries will tell you...Paul was simply preaching what the 12 before him had been preaching. What Jesus had been preaching. He was simply aiming their message at a different people. He was aiming their message at the Gentiles. They would say Paul was the Apostle “to” the Gentiles, rather he was the Apostle “of” the Gentiles. That is what’s being taught by pastors across the land today. Paul knew it was his responsibility to take the message of reconciliation out to a lost and dying world. Most are going back to the 12, trying to rely upon what the 12 would tell them. How many know of Paul’s distinct message today? Are we moving toward truth or moving away form truth? The Savior did not send Paul to build upon or to add further truth to the message of those who preceded Paul. (Romans 15:20) The foundation they laid was of Jesus as Messiah to the nation Israel. The Messiah is promised to Israel for the ruling over of that Kingdom, that earthly Kingdom promised that nation. Paul would not to have wanted us to mix the message of the 12 in regard to God’s program to and with the nation Israel...with the message specifically given him for the Gentiles. Paul was given that brand new revelation. He would not have wanted us to add or mix earthly Kingdom truth with the message he dispensed. He went to great lengths to separate his ministry with the ministries of those before him. 1 Corinthians 3:10 - But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. Place your faith in Jesus’ faithfulness and that alone. Any kind of works at all, even if they appear to be good works in your mind, that are done for the purpose attaining salvation or for the purpose of maintaining salvation or for the purpose of proving one’s salvation is a slap in the face of God who had to provide the gift of salvation, because people’s righteousness would be totally incapable of meriting it. Israel had a problem when it came to learning the lesson of their inability and the futility to gain righteousness through performance, and this needs to be perfectly clear in people’s minds lest they fall into the trap that many have fallen into today. God completely took works out of the equation when it came to gaining or maintaining salvation. Some people are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth because they fear learning. Knowledge of the truth may cause them to have to change the truth they’ve been standing on for who knows how long, and that’s frightening thing for lot of people. It is much easier for many people to avoid learning then change in mid-stream. Paul’s message is unique and distinct from the message of Jesus and the 12. What traditions of the human race must be left behind in order to take the doctrine of Paul seriously. Pride will not let people swallow their own pill. What does it mean to die in your sins? It means to die with your identity in Adam number one, the Adam in rebellion; to die with that identification intact. Reconciliation and Sanctification, two different judicial transactions. God reconciled the entire world; believers and non-believers alike to himself through the blood of the second Adam. Now, a person needs to be placed into God’s son, so that they can have his son’s righteousness attributed freely to their account.

  30. Just because Jesus died for our sins, past present and future, does not mean that when we sin we do not ask the Father to forgive us our wrongdoing. There will be a day of accounting for all of our sins that are not confessed. I would rather do that now and acknowledge that I misstepped and seek God's forgiveness. It would be arrogant of me a child of God to think when I did something wrong that I should not say, "I'm sorry. Forgive me."

  31. I do agree that many Christians argue over differing beliefs and doctrine. However I do believe that when a doctrine is being taught or held that is contrary to God's Word then it needs pointed out and discussed. False doctrine should never be left to slide right by and accepted as though true. I do believe that we are to do this in love however I Corinthians 16:13-14 "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong Do everything in love." As far as emotions go God created is with them. Emotions are not wrong but they can hinder our walk with God if we allow them to be more important that Him. That is why we are commanded to have self-control over our thoughts and actions Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." We do need to stand to the truth of God's Word but do it in love and in the right way. I know discussions can get heated and things go crazy(been there and done that). As far as leaving the church I would say that you cannot deduct from one bad experience that all churches are the same. It is important to worship with other believers because one we are commanded to Hebrews 10:24-25 and because this is how we as believers get to know the needs of other fellow church members. Yes I do agree that there are some, churches out there that are not good but again you can't rely some experience and say I'm done going to church. What is happening is your emotions are getting the best of you because the church doesn't agree with your viewpoint. Trust me I don't always agree with how my chair does things and sure I,get irritated. But I won't stop going to,church because of it.

  33. I've several times have become intoxicated with the wine of popularity, seeking to be liked by how many likes I've gotten on these websites and catering my posts to those people who would would agree with me and flood me with at-a-boys. I am as human as the next and have fallen into that poison so intently that I lost myself so many time just to became another person, altogether. I've always recuperated from that and felt foolish, but not foolish enough to catch myself before I do it again. I've found God and have his strength and I usually finf myself out after dipping my finger back in there under my own accord. I find his guidance when I have time to contemplate my actions. He is such a loving God and for the life of me sometimes I wonder where he gets is patience with me. LOL Have you ever considered that there might be more of what I have become out there and have just not realized it yet? These people may just be so drunk on their own self importance that they believe their importance to the Christian community is in quantity of what they call evil they can find around us in the world? Just look at how many people that have stated the date for the end of the world, just to have that date come and go, without the rapture. What about the preacher who burned all those Islamic Holy Books, just to get a nun killed somewhere in the Middle East. Do you think that was for God? I think if God would have endorsed his actions something would have come of it. People do many things in the name of God, but does that mean it fits into the timeline that God has set for creation? People need to pray to God for his wisdom and if he doesn't respond in a particular way then, maybe he's not responding to you in the way you are expecting or he isn't through working on the person he is sending your way with the answers you need. I would suggest you slow down ans let God come to you, instead of listening to everybody else speak their minds, because I've found out I've been far closer to loving God and seeing clearer his love for me in letting the memories of things that happened, who I was unaware was done by God for me through contemplation. I think if you are in mortal, emotional danger that God would be so overwhelmingly responsive in protecting you it would take your breath away. He did that when I came off the total effects of an 11 stint as a drug and alcohol abuser and he did so again when I fell on my knees and begged him to take away the stress ans anxiety that had brought me to the brink of having a full blown nervous breakdown. The main thing to always remember is that God is still on the throne and he loves us enough to protect us. If there is confusion in your life it is not because of God. Look for that in the mouths of men and women who want something out of you other than to bring you closer to Christ. Always remember the scripture, BY THEIR OWN FRUITS YOU WILL KNOW THEM. If what you've gotten out of these who demonize Rock and Roll is confusion instead of clarity then you need to go to the source of absolute truth and that is God. It's a good probability that those who think they are too important to fall may have already done so!

  34. Not quite sure what was being said, but Willa was correct. We were saved, once and for all, and are being sanctified as he has made us perfect. Our sins may not be able to separate us from the righteousness of Christ, but they can hinder our sanctification, as well as offend the Spirit of Grace within us. We repent, not for salvation, but for reconciling our friendship, so to speak. Not in a salvific manner, but to repair the damaged relationship with God, so we may continue in His Spirit towards glory. But at no time does His Spirit depart us.

  36. There's not much to the claims of playing stuff backwards. For the most part this stuff is all scare tactics, and actually distracts from the real reason you shouldn't listen to the music...that it doesn't glorify God.

  38. I think you find what you look for in whatever you seek. There is just about every level of insanity and purpose in just about every gaundra of music, but in the heavy metal rock music there is a tendancy to take their lyrics too far as it is set up to pander to those people who are so far gone that the worship in their minds death and destruction. Try saying the same for the Chuck Berry or Buddy Holly and the arguement goes sour. Rock and roll has traditionally been about celebrating secular life and as the world grew more hedonistic, the music followed right along. I once saw a youtube about a Southern pastor who said he was asked to go to a rock concert and evaluate what it was about. He saw there what he wanted and one of the things he told his parish is that people in the audience of that concert would light up their lighters when listening as a salute to Satan. Right there I turned it off, because I knew he didn't know what he was talking about. I've went to many a rock concert as well as country western. I think the last one was a Reba McIntyre concert and every time she sang a song that the audience loved, they would light up their lighters to let her know they liked the song. It was the same way for Rock and Roll. I stay away from pretty much everything in rock music lter than the 70's, because that's when I grew up and what came later was more glitter and yelling than music you could understand and sing to. I would suggest, if you are uncomfortable with what you are hearing then there is a reason it is and the Holy Spirit might very well be behind it. God made us and he knew what he was doing, when he did. I would also suggest you go on the internet and download the lyrics to some of the music you are iffy about so you can read, first hand what they are talking about. If it is clear that they are talking about something other than what you are comfortable with, then ban it from your life and that includes your home and your radio. Don't allow your kids, if any because it is not something that you approve of them learning. There are always some crazies out there who will take anything to extreams as we saw in The Manson Family, but that's not everyone and we shouldn't blamr the music for the person.

  39. I think that much is evident. Honestly, if it isn't being used to glorify God, that can be said. But there are those forms of entertainment which it is very obvious, and the shows you know are deceptions with the purpose of normalizing sins.

  41. I have read both yes and no..... personally I think that the demons that are around bugging you do use the music to direct our minds into thinking certain things.... different for each person as to thier weaknesses. As for one assigned to a particular song, I would doubt for I really don't think demons can be in more than one place at a time. At least that's my understanding of the dark side.

  43. I don't think it's quite how many of the overly spiritual think it to be. You don't get a surprise in every box like you're opening Cracker Jacks and getting a prize. But to some rock music there is an antichrist spirit behind it. You can usually tell just by the band names. There's quite a few classic rock bands that were open about their Satanism, but at times it's just people being paranoid. The big thing is that if we have the Spirit of God in us, then we do not have to worry. I do believe that most, if not all, of that music will be removed from our life. But, if someone is truly worried about it, I would just advise that they stay away from it so it doesn't influence them. It's better to be overlycautious for some. Myself, I don't have an issue with it, it's just music. But either way, we should strive to listen to that which honors God.

  44. Dear sister Pamelasv, Grace and mercy and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. What is being discussed in Romans chapter 11 is whether physical Israel was once excluded before the Eternal or whether the Eternal still had a plan for the land of Israel. Paul then shows that the call of the Eternal to Israel (to be a reference nation for physical worship), as well as the gifts that the Eternal bestowed upon them (the priestly ministry of the Levites, with all their rituals and offerings) would not be revoked as long as the heavens and the earth existed, by way of explanation, even unto the Last Judgment: · “Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: if those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.” (Jeremiah 31.35.36). That is to say, Paul is saying that Israel would again be a nation (Israel was destroyed in 70 AD and rebuilt in 1948 AD) and, in the millennium, would again be the center of worship and dominion until it was confirmed that salvation only exists through of the grace of the Lord in Christ Jesus. After the Last Judgment, then we will have new heavens and earth, and then the Levitical ministry will no longer have meaning and then it will disappear forever (Hebrews 8:13). Finally, what is being said is that when the Eternal establishes something, He does not make it established in what men do or fail to do, but in the plan that He established before the foundation of the world (see 1 Peter 1.2; Ephesians 1:4, Hebrews 4:3, 1 Peter 1:20, Revelation 13: 8; 17: 8). The gifts and the call that the Eternal made to Israel cannot be annulled by any man. Likewise, everything that comes out of the Eternal's mouth is fulfilled with total fidelity, regardless of the behavior of anyone (including the one who received the promise - Romans 9:16).

  46. Hi Logan, I was brought up in Foster care (fostered by an Aunt) I have put a very brief testimony on my profile page. Over the years God has shown my several verses about being adopted into his family, and how he puts people in families and is a child to the fatherless etc. There are also a number of verses in the bible where God specifically gives instructions on how to treat the fatherless and widows and I believe God is only too aware of the unique difficulties which children can encounter when it is not possible for them to live with their own parents; and that he has a special place in his heart for them. He showed me very early on about his overwhelming amazing love.
