  2. I like your cartoons and I think it is good to talk about topics. But sometimes it feels like we are all sounded like "Christian snobs" looking down on others who are not doing things as we think they should. Perhaps you have a cartoon about showing compassion to others. Just for a change of pace. As I know as Christians we can forget to show that to people because we are so consume with pointing out to others all the sin that is in their life.

  5. Forever - Kari Jobe - Drum Cover by Daniel Quartararo Daniel Quartararo covers Forever by Kari Jobe on the drums! God loves you dearly, no matter who you are! Please just ask Jesus to prove Himself to you if you do not know Him! Ask Him to forgive you. Ask Him to give you a heart to turn away from sin. No, no good works will do, but good works will be evidence of your faith, as you follow God's plan for your life! But it starts by reaching out to God; to Jesus Christ, and saying, "Lord, I am done with myself, I am done living for me, I want to live for you, I want to live a righteous life and turn from my sin, I want to know you, Jesus, I want to love people like you love people, Jesus!" He will prove Himself! He is God. He is so big and powerful!!! There is no stone He won't overturn in your life to prove Himself to you! He loves you dearly and He wants what's best for you! 6. For a few days now there have been post/threads that have good intentions and purpose but somewhere in there, there seems to be a point where the purpose gets lost in translation. Whether it is in the definition of a word or particular parts in scripture. We seem to get side tracked by our views and omit the opportunity for people to just speak freely. Not everything should be said nor received as an attack. We should be able to free our minds to receive it all and address accordingly with discernment. Not only against our brethren but also within ourselves. We should act as if we have a class project which we all want to pass and receive a good grade. We have to come together, ping ideas off of each other and include everyone. It's not so some take over and others have to be forced to sit back. Or others just zone out and no longer participate. We are all in this class of Teachings from God. We need to remember not all learn the same way, not all think the same way, and in this class, all grades are in one class, so each has different levels of their abilities and understandings. Even more of a reason to help each other out where some may missunderstand. One major rule we can take from God is he does not force. He is patient, he listens and teaches as such.

  8. Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Jude 1:3-4 (English Standard Version) Be Blessed Beloved Daughter Of The KING The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Numbers 6:24-27 (King James Bible) Love, Your Brother Joe ~ Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Psalms 119:160 (King James Bible) The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword and the Christian’s charter. Here too, Heaven is opened and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents. From The Inside Of My Gideon New Testament

  9. Blessings Eugene I respectfully disagree,I have not "tried to describe" God,I am stating facts,Gods Timeless Truth ...it is WHO He Says He IS I stated that He Is Eternal " Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." (1 Timothy 1:17) I stated He IS Ancient of Days " “I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; (Daniel 7:9) I stated He is the Great I Am " (Exodus 3:10-15) "14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.[b] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” 15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord,[c] the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation. I stated that He Has no beginning & no end (Rev 1:8) “I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, who is and who was, and who is to come. The Almighty.” And I described myself as not having the desire to speculate.. It is your reason, logic & laws of nature that attribute to your misinterpreting what I have said, everything I have said is what is simply brought to Remembrance by the Power of the Holy Spirit because His Word is Written on my heart.....I did not have to think about it,look through the Bible and it does not even have to be logical The Eyes of our Understanding are the Heart & Mind of Christ Jesus With love-in Christ,Kwik .....

  10. Islam will not allow someone to leave without persecution sometimes death....it is serious. You are more likely to be compelled to join Islam or both of you will suffer. If you really want to know how strongly Muslims are entrenched in their religious culture I suggest reading "Seeking Allah Finding Jesus" by Nabeel Qureshi. It is an easy and informative read , giving explanations and definitions as you go along. Nabeel does a very good job of describing how Islam is taught to Muslims is entrenched in every aspect of their lives and the repercussions for turning away from it. Nabeel in the end becomes a Christian and he writes about that journey, its risks and the struggles he went through as he dealt with the realization that to choose Christianity would mean turning away from not only Islam but everyone he knows and loves. He paid a heavy price in loosing his family and friends. If you are not willing to turn away from Jesus and what He stands for as your Lord and Savior, you have to make that a deal breaker and your friend has to be willing to do what Nabeel has done, turn from Mohamed and Allah to Jesus.

  13. Blessings Sister I'm not really sure what you are hoping for,I honestly don't think I fully understand what you are asking? I'm sure you won't mind helping me out with that but I)'m thinking you are asking each of us how we know that we are Born Again,is that right? In any event I heard a sermon a long time ago that has stuck with me & I am prompted to share it once again,I have shared it here on Worthy in the past,.....so here goes again,I think it is a wonderful little message Praise Jesus! So I compare......1-Do I hunger & thirst for the Word of God,am I nourishing my spirit?....yes! 2-Have I died to myself or is the old man still up & running?................Certainly not! "Thank God!" 3-Am I growing or did I become complacent,stagnant...................... Sure am,the more I learn the more I am certain there is more to learn, lol All kidding aside, yes indeed 4-Am I reproducing?.......................................................................Praise Jesus, yes & the Glory belongs to God! But even more evidence(for me) of being Spirit Filled are many things -first is that I LOVE,you have to understand that I was a "me first" person......I even love the highly "unlike-ables" simply because Christ in me loves them and I can't help but love them ,even when the things they do & say make me sick to my stomach......in the midst of chaos, bad situations & rough times there is His Peace,His Joy,His Comfort......My Jesus Loves me I can't continue, all teary eyed now

  15. Sometimes it is not so easy to follow. Not saying you should or shouldn't. I am just being real here in what I say. First you have to find someone who is a Christian. Then their Christian believes need to work with your Christian believes. What I mean by that is it would be unlikely that I would marry a Christian if say he believed that watching tv and playing rock music was sinful things. So let say you find someone who is a Christian and their believes line up with yours. Well then you have to fall in love. Then they have to be someone you want to marry and someone you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with. There are a few more things like employment and how many children you can agree on but I just wrote the highlights. Sometimes it all lines up and works out. Other times you find yourself having a very long search. Finding someone you can fall in love with and marry is hard enough as it is. Finding someone who shares your religious believes that you can fall in love and marry is very hard. Again I am not telling anyone what the right or the wrong thing is to do. But back before I found someone and got married. It was very very hard to find a suitable boy friend that I liked enough to be a boy friend and who also shared my religious believes. God Bless!

  16. A repeat of history? A revival of the spirit of the Crusades? A holy war? Islam does not assimilate. It dominates. What's happening in Europe and even America, Canada, now under the guise of refugee status is an invasion. Even the U.N. numbers show that to be the case. It isn't women and babies fleeing Syria. It's young healthy males of fighting age. Males who should remain in Syria and fight for their country. But instead they're immigrating to Europe and Canada and America? I hope I'm dead before it comes to that. A new holy war. But if not, it will be as God wills. I've never been one to volunteer to be a doormat to tyrants.

  17. Germany's open borders to refugees is actually creating the Fourth Reich. Over 275 cases are pending and investigations are ongoing on those in German military being found with Nazi paraphernalia and memorabilia. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/a-problem-in-germany-pro-nazis-in-the-military/ar-BBAZmif?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp We must be careful, the reaction in Germany's military to the Islamic immigration is to drum up the old xenophobic and Arian heritage that created The Third Reich and World War II. We should pray the Muslims immigrating to Europe get saved, over 1 Million Muslims in Iran got saved last year. We must not fight with carnal weapons, but with spiritual weapons (2 Corinthians 10:4). We must love our enemy enough (Matthew 5:44) to pray that they get saved. For had the Christians had the attitude of our times (hate and kill our enemy) then Rome would not have been saved and become Christian. In Iran, in the famous prison many of prison wardens and guards have gotten saved and believe in Jesus Christ (John 6:40) because of devout Christian prisoners like Saeed and others who were spirit filled that entered the jail. I believe in strong vetting, defense, and military response under the right circumstances. But let us not cry "God Wills It! Deus Vult!" and hope for our enemies to perish, but rather love them enough to pray they get evangelized. For God's true will is for all to come to truth and believe, "For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day," (John 6:40), "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance," (2 Peter 3:9), and "who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:4). Our Lord and God Jesus told us to love our enemies, "You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’[a] and hate your enemy. 44 But I say, love your enemies!Pray for those who persecute you! 45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. 46 If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. 47 If you are kind only to your friends,[c] how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. 48 But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect," (Matthew 5:43-48), and " But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. 28 Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also. 30 Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back. 31 Do to others as you would like them to do to you.If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them! 33 And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! 34 And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return.“Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. 36 You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate." (Luke 6:27-36). A good reminder, Ishmael was created by God. God could have had Ishmael be still born or miscarriage, but God chose to breath a spirit into him (Genesis 2:7) and formed him in womb (Jeremiah 1:5, Pslam 139:13). In addition the Sons of Ishmael, the Muslims and their ancestors have served God's purpose to judge Israel and the Church when they fall away from God and follow other gods: examples being the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, and many more. What is meant for evil, God uses for good (genesis 50:20), and we need to see what is going on and not be motivated by fear, but "power, love and sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7).

  19. So agree there Fidei Defensor, Often people look to certain outward things that they judge is maturity - how many meetings, etc whereas God is concerned with the heart and dealing with our attitudes in relationships. Eileenhat spoke on something similar. My personal thoughts are that I believe the Head, the Lord Jesus Christ is maturing His Body till it is ready to go with Him. He is quite able to take away all things that hinder our growth until we rely on Him alone. This is in stark contrast to most sermons in man`s organisations, which say the God has great plans for you, meaning success, money, promotion etc. Nothing, but nothing is compared to being made like unto Christ - ` If I gained the world but not the saviour...` The start of a song. regards, Marilyn.

  21. Here is an example of Christian maturity in a nut shell: "Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you." (Philippians 3:8-9, 15, Holy Bible).

  29. A few of us have recognized the spirit behind remarks like that. You'll find that evidence in another thread here that follows the motive and intent of this one. As has appeared with great frequency as I've found in searching, those threads charging people are wolves rather than sheep. And even one that stated people should mourn martyred Christians in Egypt but not presume they were martyred as Christians! Those people were murdered because they were Christians! The spirit at work hoping to fracture the Ekklesia is unaware of God being responsible for that individual woman or man who identifies as Christian. Being his grace began the entire blessed process, and he knew the name of every son and daughter before this world came into being. No one comes to Jesus except that God calls them to the one that is the way, the truth, and the life. What then is the textual motive of that contentious spirit that intends to open a dialog among the chosen as it intends to message each one that the contentious spirit can question God's calling . And those so called are to defend the charge by the contentious spirit that they are not what it says they are. Mongrel dog's and not Christian. Wonder why believers would entertain the spirit that second guesses God's grace and calling. Because a short search finds the handful of motivated spirits committed to that endeavor repeatedly demonstrate the accusation whenever they oppose the truth of God in scripture and those who defend it against them. That endeavor that judges those to be wolves and non-Christians shall answer to God. Who knows all things and is all things from Alpha unto Omega. Beginning to the end. When he tells me he knows my name before the world came to be, I fear no one calling me anything born from their imagining they are entitled to do so. I am not responsible for what people say or think of me. Those who think and speak are that. And God is watching.

God is not submitted to place because He 'IS' that He 'IS' without boundary or limitation... one cannot dwell long on the Biblical refinement of the Who of God without fear initiating in the soul... it will not be until we are rid of this flesh and place that we are at- at death- then perfect love will remove this fear for eternity! 34. I have practiced footwashing and have been to churches that practice it. One thing to think about is culturally, they wore sandals and walked miles in the dirt. While fit has as major symbolic meaning today, washing feet had a widely different meaning than it does today, it represents the lowest form of serving, something only slaves would do for their masters and Jesus modeled it. In that act, Jesus reveals that we are called to serve each other with the greatest humility and love for one another. When the disciples were focused on who was the greatest, Jesus, being the greatest humbled himself and performed an act that was considered the least.

  36. I was suffering with something very similar you are experiencing. All I can say is that you need Jesus immediately, I believe it is more a spiritual issue than anything. I suffered with very oppressive thoughts that would force me to do the most insane things you can imagine, thoughts that kept me telling Jesus would not forgive me, that I had diseases, mental illnesses, doings things repeatedly, actions like seating and to lay down were a challenge, it like forced me to do or a really bad thing would occur, and I could not resist on my own as it kept remembering me through the day leaving me with no peace. I kept suffering for many, many years, from child. I read some testimonials of people who have been set free from that, but it was like I did not believe that could happen to me. But one day I decided to believe, I decided to answer the call to know Jesus, repent of sins, and I started to read the Word of God. Then I realized that many of the things in my mind were simply not true, that Jesus could set me free of anything if I believed and called for his help. Well, today I am free... When thoughts come I just confront them with the Truth, which is the Word of God, and they do not have any dominion over me anymore. They are all defeated in Jesus' name. With Jesus I learned I can live without worrying, doubting, or fear. Today, I can say I live in peace. Thanks to Jesus! Glory to God!

  43. He is echoing Dietrich Bonhoeffer who wrote in The Cost of Discipleship, "The church has introduced greasy grace, a grace that is so greasy that it allows people to slip and slide about without having to pay anything." (Paraphrase). Greasy grace was the antidiscipleship, it implies not the normal Grace (Ephesians 2:8-9), but rather a grace that expects Christians to do nothing and even commit the sins Paul confronted in Roman Church in Romans and the Galatia Church in Galatians.

Checking how several writers of letters identified themselves, I first checked James Jas 1:1 James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, Php 1:1 Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ, Jud 1:1 Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ Rom 1:1 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God G1401 (Word Study) δοῦλος doúlos; gen. doúlou, masc. noun. A slave, one who is in a permanent relation of servitude to another, his will being altogether consumed in the will of the other (Mat 8:9; Mat 20:27; Mat 24:45-46). Generally one serving, bound to serve, in bondage (Rom 6:16-17). Wuest's Word Studies He designates himself as "a servant of Jesus Christ." The word is Doulos, the most abject, servile term used by the Greeks to denote a slave. The word designated one who was born as a slave, one who was bound to his master in chords so strong that only death could break them, one who served his master to the disregard of his own interests, one whose will was swallowed up in the will of his master. Paul was born a slave of sin at his physical birth, and a bondslave of his Lord through regeneration,. The chords that bound him to his old master Satan, were rent asunder in his identification with Christ in the latter’s death. The chords that bind him to his new Master will never be broken since the new Master will never die again, and is Paul’s new life. Paul’s will, at one time swallowed up in the will of Satan, now is swallowed up in the sweet will of God. The reader will observe how wonderfully God has watched over the development of the Greek language so that at the time it was needed as the medium through which He would give His New Testament revelation to the human race, its words were fit receptacles and efficient instruments for the conveyance of His message to man. Paul calls himself a bondslave of Christ Jesus. The case classification is genitive of possession. The apostle is proud of the fact that he is a slave belonging to his Lord. There were certain individuals in the Roman empire designated "Slaves of the Emperor." This was a position of honor. One finds a reflection of this in Paul’s act of designating himself as a slave of the King of kings. He puts this ahead of his apostleship. We are either a slave to sin and satan, or we are slaves of righteousness and God. We present our bodies a living sacrifice to our God, and we renew our minds in the Word. We put on Christ. The Word humbled Himself and came as man, even as a servant and washed the feet of the disciples, setting and example for us to follow. We are slaves of God; we are bondservants of God by choice our of our love for Him. Jesus set us free by the truth and by the cross, and by choice we give ourselves to Him to serve Him and our fellow believers as bondservants of our Lord Jesus Christ.
