I felt this way as well when I was a new Christian. But I had not surrendered my life completely to God. One day God used me to supply someone else's need before they knew about it themselves. I was there what they opened up the bank notice that they were $50. overdrawn with a $5. penalty. Would you believe that my friend provided the $50. and I had provided the $5? I had never heard of the people before and God had directed me to go to another town and give it to them. I hadn't even given to my church before, let alone to anyone else. But God made me aware that He would take care of me in the same way. Praise God.! I immediately started weeping and surrendered my whole life to Him. I had made such a mess of it I had nothing to lose. So I started taking my problems to Him and finding the solutions in the Bible. No longer was I so concerned about what others thought of me. I was most concerned about God. And He already accepted me because of Jesus' death on the cross for my sins. I was already His child! I was among those whom God loves. And what others thought, even other Christians, didn't count for much because God accepts and loves me. What matters is how much I love and forgive them. Jesus lives in me and He in me loves and forgives them for their being hateful and inconsiderate. He died for them, too. Even Christians can be cliquish and mean when they haven surrendered themselves to God. There but for the grace of God there go I. So He showed me my self righteousness that caused me to be unforgiving and unloving toward them. He showed me that only Christ in me can live the Christian life. So I was to allow His life in me to help me walk in the Spirit. The answer to Romans 7 is in Romans 8. Walk in the Spirit and focus on Christ. He will help you walk on the water like Peter!

Hang in there. At the very least in God's kingdom you will not be in this position. I don't even know you and I have God's love for you. Satan wants you to be discouraged but Christ wants to give you life and more abundant.

You sounded like me several years ago when I thought God hated me and he only does miracles in other people's lives. I thought God was bent on making me suffer while others enjoy themselves. I walked a very rough road for years but now I look back and thank God for the training he gave me. You may feel God has abandoned you and is not answering your prayers but God loves you. You may not understand this now but you are exactly the type of people God is interested in. Isaiah 57:15 nkjv "For thus says the High and Lofty OneWho inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:“I dwell in the high and holy place,With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,To revive the spirit of the humble,And to revive the heart of the contrite ones." Sometimes you may not receive answers to your prayers immediately but he has heard you. Don't give up. Hold unto God to lift you up in due course. When you manage to rise your status so high please do not forget God. He really loves you. Why not tell him how you feel? Have a good discussion with your father? Prayer is not only about making requests. Open up to him.

For a while I was feeling judgmental towards a few Christians in my church, especially one in particular who I one of our pastors and caught up in weight loss world of taking selfies. He also makes fun of others among other things. But then it dawned on me, Im no different. I have sins too I need to repent of, like anger and judgmentalness, so now I don't ruminate over and over about someone's behavior. I am trying to work on myself instead. The lord has been growing my love towards others. Its been amazing! It feels good to be free from hatred and bitterness. I feel like this is God getting me ready for His return.

Nor is He a repsector of persons.

Very interesting. The idea of warping the wing slightly is cool too (in order to maneuver). I watch gulls and kites, it is amazing how they can read the currents and adapt by warping their wings. I often think that God must love to fly. You see, in an imagined world with no birds or flying critters of any kind, I wonder if man would have ever thought of its possibility.

That is interesting. Fluid flow is very complicated especially when it is a compressible fluid like air. I have the feeling that there is the actual physical shape of the wing and then there is the "effective" shape of the wing (which varies with speed, angle, etc.) which includes a boundary layer of vortices and "stable" air patterns near the wing. My gut feeling is that the actual air flow patterns that do the pushing and lifting are interacting with the "effective" shape of the wing rather than the physical shape of the wing. Last Christmas, my mother got me the book about the Wright Brothers by David McCullough. It was a fascinating book. I had always thought of them as some tinkerers that were lucky enough not to get killed. They actually did a lot of high level applied engineering in order to figure out how to fly. I had no idea that they made their own wind tunnel, did many mock ups, did lots of testing, and then realized that one of the main keys to flying was the pilot having enough practice to do it right. This was a well document book that followed their family life, travels to Kitty Hawk and around the world, their engineering progress. I found it very interesting.

It must be very hard and discouraging. To keep going through trials and bad stuff. It can put anyone into depression. But I really hope you don't let it drive you into wrong ideas. Put on the armour of God. Hope is one of the pieces. We always have hope. Even if we are homeless. I know God can make the homeless a home. You have a lot of people praying for you. Take heart and be strong. I know you have more strength and courage then you even know. I pray God lifts you up. You will not be disappointed if you trust him and also walk with him.

I'm not sure it's profitable to split hairs since the gospel is a package deal and obedience to all of it needs to be preached and taught, including baptism and Lord's supper, both of which profit for our walk on earth. When we come to faith in Christ we become a new creature, a spiritual creature walking in a spiritual kingdom so there are things we do that the world knows nothing of.......for example we eat at an altar that priests of the old covenant have no right to eat. Baptism is a prophetic act of dying, being buried and resurrected, because the principle is first the natural then the spiritual.......communion is eating and drinking the sacrifice of the Lamb of God prophetically too, and the Israelites ate of the sacrifices in order for the sacrifice to be applied to them. There is power in obeying both baptism and communion, they are something more than just symbolic. I'm away from home right now, but Lord willing will post some scriptures pertaining to this in a day or two.

I used to think that everyone in the faith of God was related in Christ. But I changed my mind about that as I learned that all living are my family. We are all cousins after all. And so it is, one big family with a great immortal Father on the throne in the heavens. Really awesome when ya think about it. I also came to the conclusion that just because I'm in this family doesn't mean I'm of the same mind as everyone else. In fact, because of Christ and my trust, belief, faith, love and work in His knowledge, wisdom and strength, I sit in heavenly places with Him. This fact not only frees me but gives me purpose and a spiritual freedom I truly wish we all could experience. But it comes with the price of responsibility in all areas of my life. I have learned this through some difficulties and now I can see the Lord is with me, was always with me, and will always be with me even if I'm blind to the fact, which I was and maybe still am in some respects. So I was afraid because of what I saw as this deep responsibility I felt in light of the greatness of the One who freed me and then walked with me through all things in my life. The one who renewed my mind, spirit and body is owed my best effort even if I fall short. Which I have. But my best effort has and is always rewarded with His truth and guidance. He loves us all and to me that is sometimes hard to realize. My father never cared for me. My family is all gone. But the love and comfort of my Father is and always has been there for me. I'm never alone. Never abandoned. Never forgotten. Now that sense of responsibility is even greater than before, evolved, greater in scope, better understanding, strengthening my spirit. The idea that we can have great conviction, speak out based on that conviction, declare convictions as the truth then be shamed when found inaccurate may fly in the secular world, but the servants responsibility is to honor the master, in all things. Every date set, every false claim, every personal interpretation dishonors the Master of us all. He never forgets and He will clear His name and get the honor He deserves. Speaking false words in His name is a great danger for irresponsible servants, no matter the throes of rationalization endured to justify personal conviction. In simpler words; ya blew it. It was a false prophecy by false prophets; none of which can be trusted. Every pretrib declaration of the rapture will always be false. For centuries the pretrib timing has been proven wrong. It will always be wrong. The 'gathering of the elect' is for the spirits of gold tried in the fire not an early ticket out for the fearful. No prophet of pretrib has done the work; been diligent to seek out the Lord's truth; exercised their full responsibility; does not walk in the fear of the Lord. This failure leads many astray. This needs to stop. Repent of this folly. It's not too late and the Lord forgives all.

Akueg, your statement of faith differs quite a bit from the Christian faith. The law is the schoolmaster that brings us to Christ. It shows us our need of our Savior because we cannot keep it perfectly as the law demands. Only Jesus is good and kept the law perfectly. So He has fulfilled the law and the prophets. Today we need only keep the law of love and thus fulfill the requirements of the law. Jesus was in the beginning with God as the Word, and He was born of God before all creation. The Word was God. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We have never been and never will be gods. God the Father and God the Son (Word) as well as the Holy Spirit were instrumental in creation. Sadly in time this answer under the all inclusive interfaith LIE , will say, ITS time to rid the earth of all those like me. Sadly many will follow this dark one and ones. I am so sorry for you, for it seems you are on that path. As for society not accepting those things, HECK more churches even are. I have no fear of what is coming against me nor those who are of Christ . OUR END is LIFE this life does not last forever. But eternal life who can measure that . So no matter who hates me , or who persecutes me or who would even kill me, I say LORD FORGIVE THEM. For I was once one of the worst of the worst, and instead of the death sentence I deserved IT was grace that drew me to Christ and grace that changed my wicked lustful heart and grace that gave me a new heart with whole new desires the Love for truth.

Anybody ever thought of setting aside sexual preference and simply sharing the love of Christ with these people? I used to be one of the loudest voices against LGBTQ anything. Then it dawned on me, how was my hatred going to win them to Christ? They need Jesus same as you and I do. Yeah but their sexuality... ...is a matter for God to deal with once they believe. Same as it was with us in whatever OUR deception, perversion, addiction, etc. was. Do we remember Jesus' message of love in all situations but this?

I have realized that there are several videos at Youtube and several texts on blogs about the "prophecy" at 23rd September 2017. For instance, this video made by this likely Pentecostal Evangelical pastor has already reached 6.5 million of views!! In summary, what he explains there is the following: Revelation 12:1-2 At 23rd September this year, the sky will have this particular set of position in the cosmos(from the Earth point of view): the Constellation of Virgo(symbolized by a virgin woman) will have the moon below it the sun near to it and 12 stars above it(9 stars from the Constellation of Leo + Mercury + Venus + Mars) Jupiter(often referred to the "king of gods" in ancient Roman mythology) will travel in a spiral way through the "belly" of the Constellation of Virgo for 9 months before the planet "goes out" of it Actually I'm not sure if I can believe in that. What do you think? Is he and all other people who are claiming that 23rd September will be a "Sign for the End of Times" right? According to my "spiritual intuition" I think he may be right, this day may happen some unexpected divine sign, that is, a Warning for humanity that they are going in the wrong way.

In my opinion that day is not going to be an outstanding prophetic day. Do you trust astrology? A really encouraging thing is that as against all other predictions it is near. Short term predictions are very brave at least. Will be waiting for the day.

I didn't get that..... Gravitation is a law of nature and it is applied at anywhere in the Universe. Gravitations does exist among stars, constellations too.... That's Physics. Gravitation is simply the force where an object applies towards another object for the simply fact of having mass(according to Classic Physics, or Newtonian Physics). Then there is another explanation for Gravity made by Einstein(Theory of Relativity), but it would be too complicated for me to explain that here.

well...could you show us any documents, writings, pope's speeches (not broadcasted by Fake News a.k.a. CNN) , etc to back up your claim? i know lots of youtube videos pointing to a Vatican or Jesuit order conspiracy but as far as I have researched about 90% of them are totally false. Actually i have realized lots of conspiracy relating to Pope Francis, but I could not see any concrete proof to back up those crazy stories.

There are Scriptural verses who can back his claims to look at the set up of stars as a sign for the End of Times: Genesis 1:14 - God created all the cosmos and will use them as signs Luke 21:25 - About the second coming events Matthew 2:9-10: A star was used by the wise men to find out where the Messiah was born -> again the star was a sign used by God

I agree that there are many youtube videos which are just pure conspiracy garbage. But not in this case. This case looks different from me, from many other "Illuminatti conspiracy videos". Having said that, have you at least bothered to watch the video? If you don't, do that before being opinionated of something that you really don't know about. Yeah, i'm not sure what is Jupiter's exact trajectory inside the Constellation of Virgo but one thing we know: at 23rd September Jupiter will be just "given birth": Also, if you want to know Jupiter's trajectory in the next 3.5 half years, you can use that software who calculates all stars and planets trajectories.

it doesn't stay in the belly of Virgo, but because of the retrograde movement it stays close to her. The sign itself is there on that day and the entire sign really hasn't happened before, at least for 7,000 years. I think one needs to read the whole chapter to see what it may be leading to... and watch the movement of Jupiter through the zodiac to see where it goes for the next three and a half years...... rather fascinating.

Is there any easy way to Heaven? Lol trusting in God is hard.

Trust in God. Means to trust his word and promise. He promises eternal life if you believe in Jesus. Now do you trust that promise ? Trust is really knowing if someone is trustworthy. Is God untrustworthy ? Does he break his promises. Will he do as he has said ? So think on this. He does always keep his word. If he said confess your sins and he will cleanse you from them. Then that is something you can trust.

I know he was full of pride, but, what did he do? How did he rebel against God? And why did he want to do that? Ok, because he wanted to be like God. But he knew God is perfect and He loves everyone. I'm so confused right now. Did he wanted to change something? Of course, I know Satan is our enemy and he's bad. But I'm so confused right now.

People are basically selfish. People use others for their own advantage and rarely seek the benefit of others. The reason acts of heroism make the newspaper is because they are not commonplace. We become like what we focus on, according the psychiatrists. So if we focus on Jessie James, or the person who abused us, we become like that person. But if we focus on Christ we grow to be more like Him. Praise God!
