  1. Bickering, mistreatment, unkind words, belittling, thinking they are more right/righteous than another and self righteousness, are not things I think Jesus was teaching. These things will lead to a path of sin upon themselves or by putting stumbling blocks in others path. I'm saying the differences are small. Let them be. Just keep God's Law above all else. God first. Treat others as you would want to be treated. Paraphrased Don't attack others because you wouldn't want them to attack you. (Not saying that you attack others Neighbor. I'm speaking in general)

  2. Cletus you more right than most realize. most are looking for a man to come and save the day. THE PROBLEM IS its how ANTI CHRIST ARRIVES with all the worlds solutions. WE SHOULD only trust GOD , and focus on preaching the gospel of Christ. God IS in control. AND if we have CHRIST , then it matters not when we die, its life eternal , so why fear it.

  3. Most Christ based Churches believe in the 2 Great Commandments. So why so much HATE? All claim the first to be true in their faith. Matthew 22:37-38 (KJV) 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. Many fail on the second. Matthew 22: 39-40 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. If we truly hold the first in our hearts and belief, we should be able to do the second. John 14:15King James Version (KJV) 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Instead we mistreat each other by down playing others faith. Calling eachother cults and bickering over issues of Man's written laws and traditions. Didn't Jesus say: Mark 7:9 (NKJV) 9 He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. Most of Christ based religions follow Christ and hold him as a teacher. Yet they dismiss his teachings. By not obeying the second, we can't say we hold to the first. We are hipocrites. We speak as if we are believers but do not keep to our words. Matthew 15:9King James Version (KJV) 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. The small differences are not more important than the 2 Great Commandments. Yet we allow them to cause us to sin, cause conflict and spread confusion. Does this help God or harm him? Why so much HATE?

IF , we can just get him back into the bible only, IF he does not harden his heart when the Spirit speaks HE will be led out . He will. But many choose to ignore all warnings and stay in her . I sure pray he don't . First we got to keep warning and encouraging him to get back into ONLY the bible .

  5. I agree , accept the one challenging their words is not "attacking" them. Though they whose egos are easily threatened can perceive it as a "personal" affront. I would say it has more to do with how the disagreement is worded and less to do with being easily threatened. I can tell someone that a disagree with them and state why, but if I start saying they are a false teacher, stupid, not saved, just to bolster my stance, it is an attack on the person they are responding to. In today's world, it is so easy to spit out demeaning words as we hide behind an anonymous username, saying things we would not to a persons face. In fact, due to this ability, more relish immaturity over maturity as they know they can get away with it. A true follower of Christ will mature as time goes on, putting away the childish things they once held so dear.

  7. I'm sorry God is NOT in control in the Earth. That's a bit of religious cop out that has been taught for many years. You can feel good that it was not made up by you though. LOL The fact is ...God gave US dominion in the Earth Look in Genesis chapter 1. But although the universe is God's domain....He has given the Earth to mankind to rule. Look in Psalm 115 Believe me though, that lease is about to run out, and how will we answer to God for the way we have run it? We are in charge because its how we are supposed to be learning how to rule with Him through eternity. Here we sit though..Learning the God is in control and sitting on our thumbs doing nothing. Well....We do complain a lot, or philosophize a lot. God is NOT in control in the Earth....New teaching! Bible instead of a doctrine taught to us by demons.

  8. To me, the above is the crux of the matter, although everything you said is true. I'm not sure how to save people from this mindset but I know we, as believers, have to try. Homosexuality is NOT okay with God, He made a point of saying as much very clearly. Leviticus 20:13l KJV “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” And then there are those who will come here and read this rubbish on a Christian website and believe it. And, yes, no one who supports, believes in or practices the homosexual lifestyle will see the Kingdom unless they repent.

The scripture say " Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Unfortunately, most Christians stop at 'We wrestle not" Waiting for someone else to do it?

I don't think banning violent movies is a good idea...violent movies like Lord of the Rings have Christian themes afterall. But porn should absolutely be outlawed and driven into underground markets. Nothing good has ever and will ever come from making porn easy and accessible. The fact that any kid can just flip open his phone right now and gain access to an entire world of filth in a mere 10 seconds is a horrible thought.

Nothing wrong with doing either or both. The Bible says faith comes by hearing. See the picture below to get an idea of what to expect if you follow the above links. 14. The Bible explains what "runs all through it" and contrasts to your suggestion: In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the prophets. Enter through the narrow gate. Matthew 22:40All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments." Romans 13:10Love does no wrong to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law. Galatians 5:14 The entire Law is fulfilled in a single decree: "Love your neighbor as yourself." James 2:8 If you really keep the royal law stated in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing well.

  15. Ever wonder why some people insist on sinning more and more, the sin that leads to death, as well as committing and continuing perverse abominations with it ? (always and directly opposed to all Scripture, trampling underfoot the preciousness, the BLOOD OF JESUS that would have saved them if they had repented ) Look what is said of the city he lives in : (sin is rampant) "Selected as a "Top 10 Destination for Gay Travelers" by N*******t in 20xx and "Surprising Gay-Friendly Destination" by P*******t in its 20xx T***** Awards, ..." So there's a lot of "company" arm in arm, etc, on the wide road to destruction with him.....

We don't get to pick and choose what verses applies to us. They all apply to everyone the same. 1 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. It saddens me to think that you have come here just to twist scripture in order to support gay lifestyles. Apparently you must follow a different Jesus then what is in scripture. We can see in the very same chapter what we are to suspect, and you are proving this to be true. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

You have been abused, and used, by hasatan, as you show the same in your posts, you were tempted like Jesus and like all believers and like all the world is, and like all the world you were and remain deceived, and like hasatan you always now tempt others with Scripture, the same as hasatan tempted Jesus with Scripture, trying to get Jesus to sin, now today trying to get everyone else to sin..

  18. Hasatan says that, why do you ? Because your deeds are sinful, and you cannot come to the LIGHT, but hate the LIGHT. Whenever Yahweh says you are sinning, every day, all the time, you are sinning, every day, all the time. The deception is too great for any human to free you from - no one has ever succeeded in doing so, so you are completely and utterly deceived, in darkness all your life, every day, as Yahweh Says.

  22. Thanks! I'll cover it again. Sex outside of commitment (marriage) is harmful to the human mind. It causes damage to the soul. Scripture pointed at Homosexuals as people living and having sex out-side of marriage. Duh...marriage was not an option. This is NOT to say that odd marriages didn't exist.....but those that were pointed to were ...orgies, promiscuity, etc. Entire villages were dedicated to "Free Love" and free sex. You've read about these. The sin was multiple partners and sex with no commitment. How do I know this? Many of my neighbors are gay singles or couples. In 20 years, living within 200 ft of a gay couple, are they on a sin-slippery-slope? No. Such preachers are deceived.

Rather it seems most people are ignorant of what Scripture says, even if they claim to be believers. Compare for example all the titles of the threads, let alone the posts , just with the Scripture Knowledge and Wisdom Revealed in worthychristianlibrary.com on this site. The Wisdom of Scripture in that simple relatively small library ,even just in any part of it almost, is lacking everywhere - it is true what Yahweh says: there is a famine, not of food and water, but a famine of the "hearing of the Word of Yahweh(God) " .....

  37. . You realize that no sin such as this and no lie such as this is can ever take the place of Scripture, nor can it ever be accepted in the body of Christ, nor was it ever accepted nor ever approved by Yahweh ? It is not a matter of your opinion nor of the opinion of the persons you know that you are trying to defend their sin - their sin and your sin is without any defense, without any sacrifice to be redeemed, if continued without true repentance. You can have your worldly , carnal, fleshly friends for the rest of your life, however short or long it is, OR you can turn to Yahweh and call on Him in true repentance to be healed of sin, forgiven, and saved, by the Blood of Jesus Who was Sacrificed for those appointed for Salvation . (not for the whole world - that is , only a few are redeemed compared to the many who are resurrected to shame and judgment) ......

So far, it's the standard Mel White script. I've seen this movie. Perhaps, but for me, it is not a movie. As I stated before in this thread, I have this in my immediate family and nothing this person, or anyone else can say, should be new to me. For three generations this sin was present in my relatives and none of them were able to twist scripture to make it say what it does not, and ignorance is not an excuse.

  39. Skywriter, how do you read these verses? Romans 1:26-32 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. Read it slowly and carefully.

  40. Actually the sin is "promiscuity" and "lack of commitment." It does look as if the behavior condemned is who they choose to love but actually the sin is sex outside of marriage and promiscuity. In context, gays could not get married, so pointing out their "living in sin" was easy. Plus this lack of marriage options promoted promiscuity as well. But given the option, gays can get married and not be promiscuous. Promiscuity is the sin becasue it is not treating others to a committed relationship which is a natural part of a real family. Sexual orientation is not even an issue to be bothered with any more than I am interested in who others have sex with.

I used to judge the sins of others as well. I found that it was wasted time and thought. People respond much better when you don't judge them. Then they don't judge you in return for Your sins.

Therefore I removed them when I saw it. Read back further for the context: http://biblehub.com/ezekiel/16.htm

  44. This line here. The important one were Jesus does not tell her what she has done wrong, with finger wagging and pointing out "Gods WORD SAYS" OR ANY SUCH THING. Instead He tells her to go home and stop what she thinks is sinning against God. There are supporting verses for this: 16As it is, you boast in your proud intentions. All such boasting is evil. 17Therefore, whoever knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin. John 9:41"If you were blind," Jesus replied, "you would not be guilty of sin. But since you claim you can see, your guilt remains." Proverbs 26:12Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. John 15:22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. So as you could maybe possibly see, and likely will someday sin is decided by how a person responds to what they have learned about God. If they think they are doing right, they have not sinned.

  46. You can't leave out the most important verse. As you can see, He leaves it up her to decide what her sins are. Not up to the finger pointers and preachers to decide. He even tells the loud mouths to go home and mind their own business and their own lives. Likely there were busy bodies, preachers and community minded do-gooder in the crowd all guilty of the sin of judging the sins of others.

  47. There is a lot more to Sodom than you might realize. The men there wanted to 'know' the angels that came to rescue Lot and family. They probably had experience 'knowing' angelics... (fallen ones perhaps?) The two angels said to Lot and family, take our hands... Next verse they were IMMEDIATELY outside the city. No long trek thru hostiles, no jostling crowds, just immediately set outside the city. The Lord God had heard the cries from within the city. He PURGED the city. He CREMATED that city. Sodomy is abhorrent to the Lord our God. An ABOMINATION is what He says about it. Period.

  48. There are more than 2million millionaires in the US. That means that if you only took an average of one million from each of them, that would be 2 trillion dollars. In theory, that would be a great idea. But let me ask you something, you may not be a millionaire, but how willing are you to give a huge percentage of your money? I grew up in an upper-middle-class background, and the people I grew up around gave much more than 10% of their income to the service of God's kingdom. To sit around and just say that this person should give this much and that person should give that much, is simply ignorant and judgemental. It would be great if these people would get together and decide to help out the world, but since when are we supposed to rely on man to help man out? I would caution you to not be so quick to judge others before you look at yourself. None of us could ever say that we have given enough.
