  1. I want to run away once I finish high school but I don't know how and I'm so scared. I don't have any money, I financially depend on my father. I want to get a part-time job and save money till I'm done with high school but my father doesn't let me and threatens me. And I don't know how to run away with no money. Simply moving out is not an option for me, I have to go to another country cause if I stay in this country, he will %100 find me, drag me home and imprison me. I also want to live in a Christian country. I'm so sick of being surrounded by intolerant muslims and not being able to go to church. I want to run away cause they don't accept me as I am. I am a Christian and they're super conservative, strict, narrow-minded muslims with sick brains and thoughts. I don't support the political party they support. I haven't told these things openly to them but they probably know it. They ask me if I'm going to vote for that party they support and I either don't say anything or change the subject. They've found my Bible once. They yelled at me and grounded me and threw it in the bin. My father checks my browser history- I'm not allowed to delete it- sometimes I do delete certain websites like Christian websites but one time I forgot to, and he saw those websites, Christian forums, audio Bible etc and he got so angry and took my phone away. He abuses me mentally, verbally, emotionally every single day. He controls me. I'm turning 18 in 2 months and still he tells me what to do, where to go, what to wear, what to eat, who to hang out with, when to go to sleep etc. I'm tired of them controlling me. Living with them makes me suicidal. I feel like a criminal under watch all the time. Unfortunately, reporting him to the appropriate authorities is not an option either, because seriously no one cares. I'm from Turkey by the way. Like girls are getting raped and nothing is done about it. Who cares if a Christian girl is being mentally tortured by her parents? She's a Christian so she deserves it, right? Sadly, many people working in the government think so. I don't know what to do. I have this friend I've known for about 5 years, she's my best friend. I completely trust her. She's Romanian and lives in Romania. She says you can come here, get a scholarship from a university, find a job. But I'm scared. What if I can't get a scholarship? How am I going to pay for my education then? How am I going to apply for scholarships, a passport etc when my father is watching me like a hawk all the time? I need money but how do I make money when I'm not allowed to work? I don't know what to do. I'm hopeless, I'm desperate. I'm considering to take my own life if I can't run away cause I seriously can't take it anymore.

  2. Dear Dilaralara, please do not take your own life. I have some suggestions for you. Is it possible for you to make contact with some Christian ministries or an Evangelical church, either in person or by phone? If so, p!ease explain to them what you have told us. I know there are ministries that would try to help you. There is also a ministry in the Middle East that helps former Muslims to escape their persecution. You might also email Christian Aid Mission and tell them your plight. They know ministries in the Middle East. You can find their email at their website http://www.christianaid.org I think it's best for you to try to get help from a ministry, rather than going it alone because you will need financial support. Also, it would be safer for you, a young lady. Since your father checks your browser history, etc, I wonder if you can use someone else's computer or phone? Today is Christmas so that's probably why you haven't received replies yet.... people busy celebrating our Lord's birth. We love you and will be praying for you. Keep us informed. The Lord give you His peace and strength as you go through this.

  3. John 3: 15-16 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but[a] have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. If a person is promised eternal life, but then have it taken away, it was never eternal life to begin with, if eternal security is not true the promises of eternal life in the Bible is a lie.

  4. Yes, very sad. Justin, there is a video on youtube Introduction to the Courts of Heaven. It talks about how we are to approach our "adversary" the devil in a courtroom setting. God is the judge. I listened to it and it made total sense why some prayers are not answered. We are approaching it in not the right way. I believe that we in the church lack power because of men like my old pastor and their wimpy teachings. They don't actually believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. That's why they are so easily indoctrinated into believing and teaching of the pre-trib rapture, the get out of jail free card, because they don't understand, or believe that the Holy Spirit is going to empower the believers to walk through the fire and testing of our faith. They should be preaching and really really believing the Word of God. Jesus said he overcame the world and through Him we can too. Do they really believe, If God is for us, who can be against us? Do they believe the words "By His stripes we are healed?" I really don't think they believe and this why we have such a wishy-washy-wimpy, powerless, whiny, scared, and defeated churches today. We need to recognize that the devil is the liar who really is trying to kill, steal, and destroy our faith in Jesus. What better way to do this if he convinces the pastors we have no more gifts of prophecy, healing, raising the dead? No more! In the last days, God will pour out His Spirit, He is pouring out right now.... and we will walk in power of the Holy Spirit and pointing to the King of Kings coming very soon!

  5. Sorry, I disagree with you. You say "If you christians were born in another country that had..." That is only your own idea. I was born in a country of atheists and in the family of atheists. According to your mental coping theory I was to become another atheist. There are very many Christians like me. That goes to show you that it is not that simple. Think critically. We are not illogical in our scientific work. The fact is there is a universal limitation which is evident in every field of science. Seeking logical answers to everything does not mean finding them everywhere. Romantic scientists in the 60's used to think that they would travel not only to other planets but to other galaxies. Now they know that cosmic radiation destroys everything living and no material can be protective. In a comparatively short period of time any protection becomes the main source of radiation. I just gave this example to show you that we are limited. Our knowledge also has its limitation. Universal limitation has no rigid boundaries. But the further you go the smaller steps you make. You are not likely to become a Christian but at least try to be less romantic when you are doing science.

  6. Rome knows this too. so do many in our denominations. THEY know what is coming and they know its an all inclusive ONE WORLD religion. Rome has been apostate since her birth. Only now nigh the end she desires only MORE of what she has had. POWER . so she sells her lies of the all inclusive dung message for world peace and unity. It has infiltrated every denomination known to man. This of course don't mean its n every single church . ALL mainline associated with the world etc , has long sold out . Rick warren, man if I named the names it would take a week to post them. Let us just say............if any of the leaders in any church cannot discern the evil from the wicked, my advice FLEE them and never look back. IF a mere wee think like me knows Kenneth is false or rick warren or olstein or nar leaders or tbn , Then any well seasoned leader should have long long known that . All the churches have been being groomed for the all inclusive religion through the seeker friendly and other movements. IT was to prepare their minds for even worse delusions. leaven starts small. Just remember that . SO if any leaders in any churches under which any sits, are more about hugs , than correction, more about getting along with the world and not doctrine more about focusing on unity with others of the world, YA better flee, its how folks fall away. This year it will get far worse under the guise of the fire from heaven kairos unity dung pile. What most don't notice is this . That while not all false churches agree in mind with each other, and still teach different things ALL have been infected with all inclusive mindset , while some are far more advanced in it and go as far to teach allah and God are the same THIS does not mean that others who don't teach that , ARE NOT UNDER this all inclusive spell. SEE it begins with the approach of a false love a seeker friendly , no need to preach the gospel or correction, just hug to JESUS mindset. THAT is how it begins. focus on good works , focus on unity love fellowship with the lost , BUT NOT DOCTRINE , not correction , not gravity. THAT is a recipe for disaster . For DISASTER. We might not see all false leaders agreeing with one another , what we do see is a common mindset though in them. All inclusive , seeker friendly, hugs without doctrine , PEACE mindset increasing . and yes its worse in some churches than in others. BUT as I said leaven starts small. This year we will see ONLY a big increase in this world peace mindset also and increase in divisions. But mostly the divisions will be some waking up and warning out . Their will also be the mindset of those who wont conform or warn out as seen as dividers , as haters , as actually doing the work of satan. What we will see , is the increase of world peace mindset and the increase of hate against those who wont conform to it. WATCH FOR IT . it only grows now .

  7. I think it is fear and man's doctrines. They have seen so many weirdos and are afraid of their shadows. It might have to do with control as well. Some places want you to write it down and give it to the pastor before making it public if he agrees. So much for spontaneity. If you want some great ideas, I suggest you get the Complete Works of Smith Wigglesworth and use some of those chapters as study points. They have so much power! Wiggleseworth was a truly remarkable and humble man. I have applied some of his ideas with success.

  8. Hmmm, maybe you can help me Nick. I studied with BSF International for a few years (bible study fellowship) I also was a discussion leader for the study on the Book of Romans. The Lord has led me to start a bible study, so I am with one lady in town. With the work of the Lord, my neighbor and I have been talking ( I cut her hair) and I just mentioned that I am doing a bible study. I know that she is searching. She and her husband grew up Catholic and Lutheran. So they are very much into the "rituals" . She wants to join us. Do you have any advice for me as to how I can help her to see the "religiosity of Catholicism " . I am also going to be going with however the Spirit leads me. I want her to see the false teachings of Catholicism without me saying anything about it. Just the Word of God to show her truth. I am hoping and praying that this will lead to revival in my little town as there has never been one. All Glory to the Father and our Lord Jesus! Have a Blessed Day!

  9. And that's what you have to pick on when Matt 24 clearly states a gathering after the trib? When all three disciples sat and listened to this same sermon? When Luke recorded the same timelines? When intellectual honesty would remain in context reconciling the texts? Anyone can make rhetorical statements based on cursory, thin examination. But again. As you wish. That's your prerogative. Claim the win as well. You'll see. When you see the beast rise and the Temple construction underway, message me. I'll be here.

  10. At various times in my life, I've hung around with pentecostals and charismatics. I've seen plenty of abuses inside and plenty of unwarranted criticisms from outside. The times I've seen various gifts used in a healthy manner is when they are a natural part of life in the body Christ and God touches people in a healthy way. The times I've seen various "gifts" used in an unhealthy manner is when people try to draw attention to themselves or start to seek the gifts of God instead of God Himself. Most of the abuses I have seen are related to immature believers being zealous and immature. I've seen a few charlatans and have indeed pointed them out as needed. But in general, most of the problems I've seen are related more to a lack of spiritual maturity and lack of spiritual common sense than anything else. Frankly, I think that anyone who attempts to share their spiritual "gifting" from a place of much zeal and little spiritual maturity will often show smugness, arrogance, belligerence, and in general will often be an annoying pest that people want to avoid. They will frequently take opposition (caused primarily by their own immaturity and obnoxiousness) as people resisting God. I've seen this in all range of "gifts" ranging from "prophets" to "healers" to "teachers" to "evangelists" to various leaders. The bottom line is that immature believers in their zeal to serve God will often think of themselves as God's appointed people and that to question them is to question God. Their ministry will usually be a confusing mixture of some fruit (from actually using the gift) mixed with division and hurt (from lack of spiritual maturity). How many posts on this site express a "I know God and the Bible better than you so if you disagree with what I posted, you are obviously deceived, a deceiver, or not even a Christian!!" type of attitude? I do not reject gifts of teaching, or exhortation, or confrontation because of a few abuses. I see this as usually coming from a standpoint of a lot of zeal and lack of spiritual maturity. At some point, those people will spiritually mature, and will probably wish they could delete many of the things that they now post. As they mature, they will start to see those gifts as something to be used with God's leading rather than as having a blanket license to try to use them whenever they feel like doing so (which usually means whenever they get mad about something). In the same way, many people who've walked around as "prophets" or "healers" at some point become embarrassed that they were not following God's lead but assuming that they could force the gift to happen by trying to make it happen at all times and places. In my opinion, it is foolish to reject any particular gift because some immature believer made a mess of it at some point. Frankly, we'd have to reject practically every gift in the church if we applied this standard. Most people outside pentecostal and charismatic circles rarely get to see these gifts being used in a healthy manner by mature believers. This is because such gifts usually quietly emerge and touch people and do not draw much attention to themselves except in the form of testimonies after God has done something. Attention is usually given to loud and exuberant failures or the exceptional miracles, not the quiet and effective and common movement of God's Spirit among His people. Example: one church I attended had prayer teams at the front of the sanctuary after the service. One fellow and I usually worked as a team. We had a man come up one day to ask for prayer for some physical ailments. As I recall, it was a combination of something serious along with back and shoulder pain from a car accident. As the other fellow was praying for him for the specific things he mentioned, the word "sleep" just kept popping strongly into my head. I tossed on a quick prayer that God would help him sleep well as we ended. He had not mentioned anything about sleep, but then commented that he hadn't been sleeping well for months. The next week, he came up again to ask for prayer again. The biggest change he had noticed after we had prayed for him the week before was that he started sleeping through the night again. The bottom line was this, God wanted to bless one of His children to have a good night's sleep; and even more than that, He wanted His child to know that He was aware of everything that was going on and that it was all in His hands. This is what most of the often disparaged "revelatory" and "healing" types of gifts usually look like in charismatic and pentecostal circles. It is usually God doing simple things like this to touch people and let them know that He is there. From what I could tell, this type of thing was commonly seen by people in the prayer teams.

  11. God is the all-powerful all-knowing Maker of everything. The devil is a created being that is in one place at a time. Some people mistakenly treat the devil and God as opposites roughly equal in power that are fighting for control of the world. This is not accurate. A common Christian view of the unseen spiritual world around us is that there is a network of evil spirits that attempt to push the devil's agenda around the world. The Bible does not really give many details about this other than the existence of such beings. Christians over the ages have attempted to fill in the blanks and add details. Thus there is much Christian literature that tries to fill in the details by guessing. Such questions as how much power do these beings have, what capabilities do they have, and how widespread they are are attempted to be answered. Often what we hear about the devil and evil spirits is speculative in nature and comes from sources outside the Bible. That is not to say every speculation is wrong; just that it is speculation and needs to be evaluated carefully. I think that part of the answer to how Christians should deal with this is to look at the life of Jesus and the early church. In three years of ministry, there are only a handful of times that it is recorded that He dealt with the devil directly. There are a number of times He dealt with evil spirits, but that was usually simply to cast them out and be done with them. In the book of Acts, it appears that overt demonic activity was not an everyday occurrence that the apostles dealt with. There are occasions where it was dealt with, but it doesn't seem to have been an ongoing daily event. The major theme that tends to emerge is systematic opposition to the gospel rather than personal spiritual attacks on individual Christians. As far as I recall, I cannot recall a single instance in Acts where anything was directly attributed to the devil being there in person. Now, there is a general sense of the devil and his minions having an influence and control in the world of some type which is referred to in scripture, but the work of Christ was and is to destroy the works of the evil one. A second thing to consider is the lack of admonitions about certain things. For example, I am unaware of any scriptural admonitions about being careful what we say or think so that the devil or evil spirits cannot overhear us. For example, if it was important for Christians only to discuss important spiritual things in a sanctified holy place which has been prayed over to insure that no evil spirits can overhear the discussions, why are there no examples or explicit instructions given about this? My sense of this is that most Christians I know will be careful of their words around other people (as we all should at times). But, most Christians I know are not worried about the devil overhearing us. So, this is a long way of getting around to the OP. I don't think that the devil or evil spirits can read our minds. The lack of scriptural warnings about this suggests to me that we can freely (when alone in our prayer closet) pray silently or out loud. At times around other people I will use discretion about what I say, but I think that the most important thing is that we are praying and spending time with God. For myself, I usually pray silently. When I am using the spiritual authority of Christ to come against various things or to pronounce a blessing, I will speak out loud. But in general, I do not worry about being overheard in the spiritual world. In fact, I cannot even remember the last time I thought about it until I read the OP. As I think about it, there have been a few times in my life where I felt a sense of spiritual apprehension in certain places and with certain people, at those times I was on my guard about what I said and revealed. But, most often during my prayer times, I just feel free in my prayers without worrying about being overheard.

  12. Praying that a path opens for you, don't lose hope sister, suicide is not the answer. John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

  13. Your comments, testimony and attitude are so refreshing to me! I too believe a person can not permanently change an attitude or behavior unless he or she is drawn by God to repent and change. If we sincerely want to change and ask the Lord for help, He works in mysterious ways sometimes and many times it's beyond my understanding. I was so blessed I was miraculously cured and didn't have to suffer any side effects or seek any programs. It's programs like the one you're describing that centers on the will of God and His blessings that will have permanent success, and bear fruit for His glory. I love to hear factual testimonies of how the Lord has changed devastated and hurting lives, and through His infinite love, Grace and mercy, draws them to Him and restores health, joy and happiness to them through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And yes, until a person takes his or her last breath, there's always hope they will come to the saving faith in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. I'm in the same situation with lost family and loved ones who do not know the Lord, and have passed away not knowing the Lord. It's about too much to bear knowing their eternal destiny, and with prayer I trust the Lord will touch their hearts that they too might be with me in the family of God.

  14. Yes sir dennis . Yes sir . IT sure does seem like laws and times just keep getting worse and worse , evil is really filling up . I mean what would have been seen as evil when even I was younger is now seen as good. and the good is seen as evil. Would you agree that transgressors seem to be getting full. Yeah , you see it is. so the part you spoke of concerning tribulation. the main one who leads it we are told specifically in Daniel when it stands . At the same time that evil is being called good and just is filling up transgressions, we also have something else increasing , through both media and religons The all inclusive hand in hand for WORLD peace. Now pay attention to these two words. TRANSGRESSION....................and PEACE. THIS all inlusive unity , all inclusive interfaith for world peace sure is gaining ground. SO on that note I want us to SEE who it is leadng too. The son of perdition. Who BY PEACE shall destroy many. add to that we also have technology tied right into Buying and selling and hey with the wave of your hand sure is being propagandized on a level. So Now for the WHEN this dark king stands. AND in the latter times of their kingdoms , W H E N the transgressors have come to the FULL, then STANDS...................yeah. YEAH..........let it sink in abit. Did it sink in. OKAY then read on..........WHO BY PEACE destroys many. Yeah, HOW MUCH LONGER do we really think we have. A HINT..................NOT VERY, IT WILL SOON stand and its kings as one will rule one hour. Oh, yeah bout rfid. YEAH let it sink in HOW CLOSE WE REALLY ARE. just let it sink in NOW HELP ME WARN out against that wicked satanic all inclusive seeker friendly interfaith bear hug for world peace that leads all under its spell RIGHT TO THE BEAST.

  15. It all depends on what the offense is that you are forgiving. Your trust in that person has been compromised. How is that going to change your relationship? Of course the Bible tells us that we must forgive. But it does not say that we have to continue a relationship with that person. If abuse is involved a person needs to be safe. If their is infidelity involved a person has to make a choice if they want to continue that relationship. But regardless God tells us that we must forgive. It is healing if the other person apologizes but that is not always the case. It is healing to yourself to forgive so you will not remain bitter and angry within.

  16. You've made a lot of presumptions based on your own limited personal experience. You'll find no shortage of former atheists among Christians, and even on this very board. Many of the strongest Christians I know were no raised in the faith. I'd also point out that perhaps you're guilty of what you're accusing others of. You went to school and read and were taught many things. How much did you believe at face value, and how much did you really dig deep into? How much "critical thinking" have you actually done about the evidence and issues? Your screen name is TruthSeeker199. If that's what you really consider yourself to be, I'd recommend a book called "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell.

  17. Welcome to worthy. So much to reply to. First, a little about me. Im older, got saved when I was 30. I have 3 degrees, including a doctorate in the medical field. In addition, I am quite familiar with many cultures, many religions. Im not saying this to impress anyone with my "smarts" but to show that I have a wide background beyond any religious views in the society I grew up in, as well as the ability to think critically. You wrote: Why do you christians blindly follow this religion? It is a false assumption to claim that Christians blindly follow this religion. I was into native type religions. I attended many native ceremonies that today few outsiders get to attend. I looked for God in many religions, many philosophies. I only found him when I was 30. Im not alone. Many folks I know are not blindly following the Lord. Their beliefs are solidly based on faith in the only truth that matters - Jesus is Lord and He died for our sins, so that we may be forgiven and be with our God forever. You wrote: If you christians were born in another country that had Buddhism as the dominate religion you would all be practicing monks right now meditating. That too is not true. My husband for instance is a native american, born and raised on the reservation. He was raised in a non Christian household with traditional navajo beliefs. Which are highly pagan. He attended the traditional medicine man healing ceremonies etc as a kid. Along the way he heard the gospel message from billy graham. He got saved. Meanwhile his entire family remained traditional. He prayed for them, witnessed to them, and had others praying for them. Eventually over the course of many years, they all got saved. You wrote: Think critically about the world and form your own perspectives in life. Please do not assume we do not think critically about our world or that we do not form our own persepectives in life. I assure you that we are quite independent thinkers. I still analyze my relationship with the Lord on a daily basis. Most Christians do. We look around our world and examine our place in it. We have not shut off our brain just because we are Christians. You wrote: Do not be afraid to accept that we truely do not know why or how all of this got here. The human experience is tough but beautiful when you embrace it and actively seek logical answers to life's most perplexing questions. I have actively embraced life, had many adventures in my life, accomplished many things. I seek and have sought in the past logical answers to lifes situations, some of which I hope you never have to face as they were extremely difficult to cope with. My beliefs in my Lord do not shut me off from seeking truthful answers. I have gained from my faith. My faith has been reinforced. Now its my turn to pose a question for you. You mentioned being raised in a Christian household. Did you just turn your back on the beliefs of your family or did you actively investigate their beliefs to see if they are true? If you did not actively investigate their beliefs, why not? Any seeker of truth, any scientist (as you are in the medical field), will investigate truth no matter where it leads.

  18. As I was browsing the internet, I came across the story of a 13 year old boy who was severely beaten and tortured because he was accused of stealing a bike, which turned out to not be true. He was beaten by four men, while another man video taped it and placed it on social media. This was in Bangladesh. There was a video of him getting beaten and tortured. I did not watch the video and I won't watch the video. But I could see his face, and he was in so much pain. This just breaks my heart. I know it is very girly for a grown man to say that this breaks my heart. But I don't care. It does. I cannot get the images out of my head. It hurts so much to think of what that boy went through. I keep to imagining that I am that little boy getting beaten like that. I also Imagine that I was that boy's parents. I don't think I could survive knowing that somebody cause so much pain to someone that I loved. It hurts so much and I didn't even know that kid. This happens to me all the time and I hate having so much empathy towards people. I cried for hours and hours when I think of the people suffering like this. Well, that's an over-exaggeration I don't cry for hours but I cry a lot. I can't get the images out of my head The face of pain and the face of suffering. The boy crying out. That boy probably cried out to his mother and she was not there. Imagine being that mother and knowing or thinking that your son is crying out for you while he is suffering and you were not there. Well, in my case of course, imagine being a father who was not there for his son. I hate having so much empathy towards people, it is a curse And sometimes it is very hard to talk to other Christians about these things, because then they go off on you and say well you are just as evil as they are. I know that scripture says that if we break one commandment we break them all. But that doesn't mean that I cannot be upset about this. That doesn't mean that I can't feel for that little kid. It doesn't mean that I can't pray for justice for that kid. And it also doesn't mean that I can't hurt for the family. It wasn't just that kid that suffered, it was his parents I'm sure. But Justice was served. Those men got the death penalty. But I am still saddened and hurt by this. How do I have less empathy towards people? How can I not let it destroy me?

  19. Hi, i want to ask your opinion about one thing. Because different pastors saying different things. We all know that our Lord Knows each thought in our mind, Knows each word we are going to say. He perfectly Knows every move of our brain. And what about devil? Some pastors say that devil can NOT read all our thoughts...he only can see those thoughts which he dropped inside of our minds...but he can not see the rest of em... What you think? If in my thoughts i require smth secretly to my Almighty God without speaking out a word and i want it to be only between me and my Lord, can devil catch it to ruin and try to destroy it etc, as he usually does. Because he is a liar and a thief

  22. A question was asked in private "What is the difference between the Pre-trib and Wrath of God. It's a good question. The pre-trib rapture teaches that all the saints will get their wings and be whisked away before the tribulation begins. They believe they will not have to go through any hard trial when the FP comes with the Mark of the Beast because they simply will not be here. The wrath of God is punishment onto the world for receiving the Mark of the Beast, and for all their atrocities against the Christ, the truth, and his holy ones. This is the time when all the prayers of the saints will be answered, and vengeance will be taken upon the world for all their bad doings. The wrath on the world begins with the 7 angels, after the Mark of the Beast is issued and persecution of the saints begins, and will continue until the Coming. Guys, the New World Order Agenda will be put into action soon. This means that we will witness the end time beast, and the False Prophet with all his miracles enter the world stage. This man is Satan's son, the Son of Perdition, Satan's brainchild. It is in Satan's heart to destroy all God's people first, and to take away our inheritance of everlasting life. Satan can not force us to worship him, or his man, or his new system, but he will heavily persuade us to make a choice, by putting us into a corner. Without the Mark of the Beast, we can not buy food, and will go hungry. We will lose everything we own, and be given no rights. This is the lure he uses for us to finally hand our soul over to him so that his system can provide our daily needs. He who saves his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for Christ's sake will gain it. Here is the faith and patience of the saints. Beware of the trap set out before us. If we have been feeding on the truth, we will not be taken by surprise, for the Lord has warned us that this evil time is coming and to be prepared always that in order to inherit the kingdom, we must suffer for Christ's sake. Many will ask why do we have to suffer? It just doesn't seem fair does it? The reason why we suffer, is because the devil hates all who forsake him, by turning to Christ and learning his ways. He is fiercely angry that his prisoners have been set free out of his clutches, therefore his mission is to bring us back to him. If we are following Christ's commandments, he can oppress, but not claim the soul. Christ allows us to go through this little spiritual war to teach us self control and learn from our mistakes. All that we have gone through is exercise of the spirit, and the spirit should grow more in knowledge and faith through experience and from knowing the scriptures. Resist the devil and he will flee. When we do this, problems become less and less, and slowly as we overcome the hurdles, which are the different sins in our life that we have overcome, more peace comes.,...however because this frustrates him terribly,..peace, faith and security,.... the hater of all good has one last trick up his sleeve. This one last trick is one that we will have no control over. If Satan takes away our ability to work and earn money to eat and have shelter, unless we conform to his system then he has got us cornered. He will make an offer most difficult to refuse. Most of us have never been in this situation before, poor, hungry, crying children to feed, ....no electricity, no gas, no phone connection, no vehicle, no home, no govt assistance...... The world will see us as the scum of the earth. People always look down on the poor and they will say "it's your own fault, just take the Mark and your hardships are over" and they will also accuse us of child neglect, and we will be hated so much by the world, for the spirit of antichrist and evil will be at it's peak. Many will fall, but hopefully not all of us who have been warned for what is coming and fully prepared that with the good, we must endure hard times also FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, not our own. The devil can touch our lives, but he can never take our soul if we remain faithful to Christ. We will refuse his system, which is his ultimate temptation - the Mark of the Beast, and pray we will stand for the Lord at all costs in order to preserve our souls. Remember it is only for a short time, Christ knows it will be hard, therefore he has pre-warned us to build up the things which are weak, and to put him first at all costs. Christ will send a little help to get through until this ordeal is over, and will consider it an honour to go through this for his sake. Nothing can be compared to the glory that Christ will reveal to his saints when he comes with his reward. Lets keep our eyes on our true inheritance and not sell it as Esau did because he was hungry that day. Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor ...in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  23. Daily Reading 56 If you prefer, you can look up the following verses in your own Bible, of by whatever means and in whichever version you choose. Matthew 6:1-18 Exodus 33:1-34:35 Proverbs 15 Audio 4:35 Audio 3:49 Audio 2:45 The above addresses are linked to Bible Gateway. That is an easy way to read (or listen to) the Bible verses, and choose your version. Personally, I prefer written, that way I can go at my own pace, on think about it, before moving on. Nothing wrong with doing either or both. The Bible says faith comes by hearing. See the picture below to get an idea of what to expect if you follow the above links. Note: The audio will not play the exact verses, it will play the whole chapters, in which the verses exist. Thank you Lord for making the your word so accessible for us in these times. Amen

  24. Is it right to think that less and less Christians are now getting genuine gifts from God? I see fakers in the Christian community often and people who proclaim to have the gift of prophecy or the gift of insight into dreams. I have often tested people who say these things and they get so worked up about it, claiming I'M the sinner for questioning God when really I'm just merely trying to ascertain whether or not they are for real or attention seekers trying to scam good people. For example, a person came to my church to speak, he had spoken at a few other churches and claimed to be able to interpret dreams. I decided to test him by telling him a false dream. If he was truly an interpreter of dreams, he would know it to be fake as God wouldn't give him insight on something false, He would somehow let him know that I was deceiving him. His interpretation was over the top and very disturbing and he got really angry when I told him that the dream wasn't real. Another time, someone claiming to be speaking in tongues was shouting out some sort of gibberish, and I use this word because in the bible it clearly states that if one speaks in tongues they don't know what they say but there will be one in the congregation who does. So I stood up and asked if anyone could interpret. No one could, this person got angry again and screamed at me not to question God. I wasn't questioning God, just their validity. I don't think God would have someone speak in tongues only to have nobody understand what was said.

  26. First, get a secure browser that does not keep history like Epic Privacy Browser. Turn on the remote VPN at the top right of the page and let it think your are in another country. This browser does not keep history. Keep this browser link in another folder so it is not easily noticed. The weather is not good right now to flee (I am in the UK so know). So make some plans. Careful plans. There are some missions there that might shelter you, but if you have an EU passport, then Romania would work for you. First thing to do is REALX. Then plan carefully. You will get all you need to survive because the Lord Yeshua cares for you and has a great plan for your life. Be Blessed.

  27. Sure it's addressed to the Jews only, if many other scriptures are ignored. That's always the trouble with sloganeers, no comprehensive understanding due to lack of spiritual discernment. All scripture must be taken into account. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: This is to everyone, not Jew, not Gentile, not church, everyone. All scripture, for all, from God. That means the Gospels. So you pick and choose what is just for the Jews from the gospels? So salvation is clearly in the gospels, Jesus was only sent to the Jews, therefore salvation is only for Jews. Obviously incorrect. Here's another truth you ignore: Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. There is no difference between the races any longer, never really was in the eyes of the Father, yet you build a wall between Jews and Gentiles. Proof: Colossians 3 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. No such thing as social or racial status in Christ. Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Because of the above truth we see you are a divider, not an edifier. You separate, Christ binds together. All scripture is for all as Paul says. If indeed the Olivet discourse is for the Jews then again you and everyone else who believes this is proven wrong by scripture. Read Romans 11 for the truth. If you have trouble understanding what Paul is saying let me know, I'll help.

  28. Sister, are you thinking "tricked" in the sense that they think it will be implemented without their knowledge? I think we will be given a choice, just like God's gift of free will. I think they might be "tricked" into it by saying it will make your life easier, no more identity theft, or being told it really isn't the MOB. Revelation 3:10 says it will try all, the whole earth. This is the testing, to be obedient to God or not. This is where God is drawing the line, make a choice, stand strong in our faith in Jesus or give up and take the MOB trying to save themselves. We gotta continue to preach the Word of truth! Tribulation is coming! Be ready! Not get ready, BE READY! Jesus is coming! The King is Coming!

  29. The man in my post relied on the Lord to provide the funds to get started..... because it was the Lord's vision and it is successful because they go by the Lord's rules. If we accept government funding there are always catches - you have to do what they want and abide by their rules. I worked with a Christian charity for people escaping domestic violence and homelessness. I earned $50/week and keep. I worked in the womens' refuge and later the boys' hostel (my room was away from the boys lol). After a while they started looking to the world for the finances and the whole thing collapsed. George Muller lived entirely by faith and God kept him going, and going, and going helping people. Sorry, don't want to derail the thread, just wanted to add some more info on Shalom House. Thanks guys.

  30. You believe my belief in a non-literal interpretation is unjustified. I can accept that. But you go further to presume that I could only hold to this interpretation if I am somehow spiritually deficient without knowing a single thing about me personally. I don’t judge you as an intellectual inferior because of our disagreement. So why do you judge me as a spiritual inferior?

  31. Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Temptation is put before us to make us fall. It's the devils lure. Those not strong in the faith, and those not aware, succumb to his devices. They are easy prey for him. But for those who have been fed by the Lamb, and strong in the faith, it is not a temptation, but an abhorrence. See the difference? Knowing the difference between good and evil is what delivers men from giving in to temptation. They are kept safe because they are fed and won't take the bait.

  32. 2 Corinthians 5:7 - "For we walk by faith, not by sight." "Sense knowledge" is the attitude that says, "if I cannot see it, then it is not real. I'll believe it when I see it."This means that faith and sense knowledge are not compatible. Faith is the substance and evidence of things that your sense knowledge cannot see. Luke 8:47 is the story of the woman who had an issue of blood who desperately pressed through the crowd to lay hold of the hem of Jesus' garment. Most of the time when Jesus was healing the crowds of people He was doing that which He saw the Father doing. But in this instance, it wasn't Jesus that "SET THE TIME" for this woman's miracle, but rather the woman"SET THE TIME" through her faith, desperation and determination. Many times when we are believing for a miracle we may feel we have positioned ourselves and we are waiting on God, when in fact, God is waiting on us to activate our faith to "set the time" for the release of the supernatural turnaround. Pull your future miracle into the NOW by activating your faith and pressing into His presence as never before. Remember, every day is Jubilee when you are in Christ! "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith." - 1 John 5:4There is coming a fresh awakening of Kingdom dominion and victory. This is the victory, even our faith, that has overcome the world. It is time for a fresh wind of His victory to blow upon His people -- to wake up and receive a consciousness of victory! It is high time for sleeping Believers to wake up, realize their authority and quit tolerating Jezebel and religious control. Ahab represents the church that is in idolatry, caught up in performance (the show) and looking for titles while being in bed with the world. God is looking for a people with clean hands and pure hearts that have not lifted up their souls in idolatry. These people will ascend the mountain of God and experience great authority and victory as they see the Lord as He truly is. "Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah." - Psalm 24:3-6 Song of Solomon 2:16 - "My beloved is mine and I am his: he feeds among the lilies." THERE IS UNIMAGINABLE HAPPINESS FOR YOU AS YOU WHOLLY AND UNRESERVEDLY DEVOTE YOURSELF TO YOUR LORD. YOU KNOW THAT YOU BELONG TO YOUR BELOVED (JESUS): HE MAY DO WITH YOU WHAT PLEASES HIM. HE LIVES UPON INNOCENCE AND PURITY, NOURISHING YOU WITH THE SAME FOOD. HE INVITES YOU TO EAT WITH HIM THE FOOD WHICH HE LIKES BEST. Isaiah 55:2 - "Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com

I'd like the government to pay to help, veterans with mental problems who were in combat, no one else will do it, and stop turning them away at the va, I've heard of one charity that does it, but with Christian charity's there's always some catch, a lot of people in other country's won't go to them unless there's nothing else, and then sometimes they won't either.

I too have my own miraculous testimony on how the Lord "immediately" cured me of my 43 year long alcohol addiction. No treatment program, no with-drawls, no shakes, no cravings, no nothing. Just a humble, sincere heart felt and honest prayer about me and my need for Him, and confessing I can do nothing on my own and I need Him and His help and compassion badly. And when I said immediately, I meant cold turkey. We sure serve a wonderful God!

  37. The nephilim might have been smart enough to do this, but it is more likely it was the Watchers that had knowledge given them in the Court of the Most High - from which they left. Most Greek myths relate to the creatures that were cross bred. We think we discovered DNA, but really the Watchers already knew of God's wonders of created excellence and could thus pervert it. Some inscriptions were later found that seemed to have muddied the waters and with yet another incursion hinted at in Gen 6; so it is not surprising there were giants and oddities after the flood. Hence the Lord had Israel wipe out cities en mass. Purging the earth of the 'tainted seed' so to speak. For whatever reason, there have still been these hybrids for many years and many centuries. It is a very unpleasant topic. Dead nephilim's spirits wander in dry places as the demons of today. They are the 'foot soldiers' of the few remaining fallen angels that direct them along with satanic devices all designed to kill and deceive as many humans as possible. The remaining angelic beings are referred to as being in 'high places' against which Michael (Israel's defender) and other Angels are in continuous battle throughout the earth.

  38. Amen Sister!!! And it will be a testimony unto Jesus! Yes, let us be like the wise virgins, buying gold (Holy Spirit) that we prepare ourselves spiritually for what is coming. Some of us might also be led by the Spirit of God to prepare physically. Joseph did this during the 7 years of plenty, so that when the famine hit, Joseph, his family, and the Egyptians did not starve. Noah prepared also, Hebrews 11: 7 by faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Genesis 14:14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his TRAINED SERVANTS, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. ( Abram wasn't just sitting around in his tent twiddling his thumbs. He was always prepared and ready for battle. So we too must be prepared spiritually and physically as well for the coming tribulation and the testing of our faith whether we will take the MOB or stand firm, endure to the end, and remain faithful to our LORD JESUS! We are in the last days, we are the last generation. Get your households in order, get out of debt. Pray and seek the Lord Jesus while there is still yet time and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and where and what the Lord wants you to do.

  40. Not the Big Bang but it's called Big Ben. A black hole cannot be viewed directly because light cannot escape it. It can, however, be identified by its effect on the matter around it. Matter swirling around a black hole heats up and emits radiation that can be detected. Around a stellar black hole, this matter is composed of gas. Around a supermassive black hole in the center of a galaxy, the swirling disk is made of not only gas but also stars. An instrument aboard the Hubble Space Telescope, called the Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph (STIS), was installed in February 1997. STIS is the space telescope’s main "black hole hunter." A spectrograph uses prisms or diffraction gratings to split the incoming light into its rainbow pattern. The position and strength of the line in a spectrum gives scientists valuable information. STIS spans ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared wavelengths. The instrument can take a spectrum of many places at once across the center of a galaxy. Each spectrum tells scientists how fast the stars and gas are swirling at that location. With that information, the central mass that the stars are orbiting can be calculated. The faster the stars go, the more massive the central object must be.

You are like Jesus! 32 When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34 “Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied. 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, “See how he loved him!” ~ John 11:32-36

  44. Every bolded statement above is personal and designed to provoke an argument. This is in violation of the TOS.. I am not going to be told what to do or or what I'm thinking. However, I do believe I recognize the writing style. Our? Now go agree or disagree with the article and, if you want clarification, contact the scientists who came up with the theory.

  45. Let me try this again and see if you understand what I'm saying. I posted an article which contains findings of certain scientists. Challenge them if you will but they are not MY findings. I cannot tell anyone how the findings came about because I don't know. I think the basic premise is true; God created the universe billions of years ago and we are able to look back in time by observing light that was emitted then and is now visible to us. The Bible tells us how God created the Earth and mankind and everything else that lives but it doesn't tell us much about how the universe was created. God said let there be light, and there was light on Earth so it follows that all the light in the universe came from Him as well. To me, He IS light and the creator of everything that exists. So now, go and challenge and disagree with the article and the scientists to your heart's content but stop creating an imaginary scenario where I am telling people they can't challenge the theories in the article. I seriously do not understand the need some have to create problems where they don't need to be.

  46. I am never beyond reproach but that will only come from God. Science reflects and proves Gods creation of the universe. After all, He created science along with everything else. I have not said no one could challenge the findings, only that they would have to challenge those who wrote them. Making assessments of others' personalities or values will not work well for you here. The bolded, in your post, is a disingenuous and judgmental comment.

  49. The 'method' would have to be explained by the scientists who made these observations. Your constant repeating yourself will not convince anyone that you are a 'scientist'. If you challenge these observations please contact those who made them. I know that God created the universe, He spoke everything into being, and that is that. You are hardly qualified to dispute the claims of those who study these things.
