  1. Some Christians as a matter of faith believe that some particular variant of the KJV is the perfectly preserved Word of God for the English speaking people. I emphasize matter of faith. Frankly, trying to have a dialog with many KJV-only people is often like trying to have a dialog with a convinced flat-earther. Some are so convinced that God did it one particular way that their faith rides on being right on this particular matter. For them, it is not a question of looking at existing manuscripts and textual studies, it is a matter of looking at which things led the the KJV and rejecting all else as either corrupted or Satanically inspired. In my opinion, it's not much different than those who reject any and all science that in their minds falsely proves the earth is globe-like. I've looked through a number of KJV only sites. I consider most of them to at best to be sloppy; and at worst to be a fringe cult. Most of their "proofs" of satanic inspiration of modern day "perversions" (as they are wont to call any non-KJV translation) boils down to either the devil or sin causing any difference from the KJV. Pages upon pages of pointing out that different versions are different from the KJV and then assuming that every difference had an insidious doctrinal agenda behind it. Then a few superficial criticisms and sloppy descriptions of how manuscripts were copied, transmitted, and are studied that sound convincing to people who know little about such things. Presenting overly simplified scholarly-sounding dichotomies like Antiochian and Alexandrian manuscripts and then giving "proofs" why one is Godly and the other is not. Most of them seem to play off of the legitimate scholarly debate of the merits of the majority texts versus older texts to reject older texts; and then falsely equate the Textus Receptus with the Majority Text. The one thing they do well is generating pages upon pages of "proofs" that give an impression of an overwhelming sea of evidence in their favor. People get lost in this sea of information that is little more than a long list of the differences between the KJV and other translations with speculative comments about the potential sinful, satanic, and heretical reasons for the differences. My sense is that for most KJV-only believers, there is a fundamental underlying assumption that only one text, only one version, only one possible translation from Greek or Hebrew into English is the correct one and that it is an all or nothing proposition. Either the entire translation is perfectly God's Word, or it should be rejected. For people with this belief, it is a critical matter of faith to identify which manuscripts, which texts, which particular phrasing and wording in English is the single and only one the God has chosen as His Word. This approach is quite frankly similar in outlook to a denomination like the RCC or any other denomination that has historically claimed to have unique access to the entirety of God's truth. All others are wrong to the extent that anyone disagrees with them. It is a matter of finding the one and only place where God has put His authority and going there. Most Christians approach the question of how to deal with the variety of different manuscripts on a passage to passage basis. For them, it is a question of painstakingly looking at the various manuscript witnesses for each passage to determine which set of witnesses is most credible for a given passage. For them, it is not a question of asking which manuscript is the anointed one and always correct, but rather, collectively, what do these various witnesses say about the most likely original reading. For them, it is about considering the range of possible wordings and phrasing of a Greek or Hebrew passage being translated into English. It is about trying to understand the full range of nuances in the Greek or Hebrew sentences to best understand what a particular passage means and says. The approach here is that God has not given any one particular group exclusivity, but rather forces Christians to come together and carefully consider as a body what the various witnesses are saying. It is one thing for a believer to have their personal reasons for preferring the KJV. It is by far another to make claims that English speaking Christians should not use any other version or to claim that the majority of differences are due to satanic, heretical, or sinful activities.

  3. So it has been pitched by the post tribulation crowd that God's purpose in sending His children , in whom there is now " no condemnation ", into the tribulation is that there are those in Christ who are weak and are not pleasing to God . They need extra " testing " with the spirit of fear, bondage , temptation that they may be made strong like themselves or be plucked from the hand of Christ if their weakness demands . A tough love culling the herd of the weaker Christians by the God of all divine comfort and mercies . Once again you have a post-trib philosophy completely counter to the Words of Jesus who told us that though in Christ we will encounter temptation in this world , it is the expressed desire of God the Father for His children to ," lead us not into temptation ." Whereas the pre-trib understanding is in complete concurrence with this statement of Jesus's , with His children being led " not into temptation " through His gathering of them to Himself in the rapture . Striking how consistent each belief is juxtaposed to the various teachings of Jesus .

  4. Hi All, this is my first post and I wasn't sure where to put it. Couple days ago I had a massive crash which the insurance has said I'm liable for. Now I am without a car as the settlement will be way lower than what the car is worth. Furthermore the car is on finance so no way for me to get another car or courtesy. This has brought my life to a halt as I had to go hopsital due to pain down my right arm(they advised I had nerve damage) I have managed to take the rest of the week off work but at a loss with what to do starting next week. I have tried to be so strong during this time and my wife has been telling me it's fine. I have mixed feelings of gratitude to God and anger I've cried constantly because I don't know what I'm going to do. I know it's not Gods fault but guess one of those emotions when something like this happens so suddenly. Would you be able to pray for me as I used my car for work, taking my son to nursery and picking him up so as you can imagine everything is thrown in the air at the moment and I can't find peace in my mind to even pray properly without having the worst anxiety and fear. Thanks for reading apologies if It's long

  6. It is so sad when we see people lost, lost in their sins, lost in their flesh, lost in darkness, lost in deceit. Those people need to see the light, these people have to wake up, these people have to surrender to the only true Lord and Savior, the Son of God: Jesus Christ. Why is it so hard for some people to grasp something so simple as salvation? Satan works hard against repentance, against true repentance... He will do everything to hold you in your sins, in darkness. It is so hard, so hard to surrender to the Truth. Especially nowadays, when we have so many technology, so many things to fill our eyes, so much entertainment, so much deception, so many traps. The world is deceiving, it tries to elude us, it tries to say: "Hey, stay here... Love me, and stay here! Have fun in your evil pleasures. There is nothing better than this" Why is it so hard for people to stay walking with the Lord, and carry their cross to the end?! Satan works hard against repentance... He tries to tell us that we do not have to stay with the Lord. He tries to give us the impression that if we remain in Him, if we strive to please Him, if we strive to walk according to His Spirit and deny ourselves, deny our flesh... That we are falling from grace and working to be saved. Satan makes that seems that we are working to be saved... That we are not trusting in the Lord for our salvation. "So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do." - Luke 17:10 I repeat: Satan does not play. And he will carry many, many people to hell with him. Why?! Because people simply does not surrender to the Lord. People does not hear His words, they do not take Him seriously. Many people are deceived by Satan that they do not have to change their lives, that they should not do what the Lord taught us to. And I can say without any doubt: That is a deception. And it is leading many, many people to hell. People who do not surrender to the Lord, do not deny themselves and say: "Lord, Lord... I am yours, take my life in your hands. I want to please you and to follow you, I want to be your sheep, I want to have life". And how hard Satan works against repentance, against full, and I repeat full submission to the Lord and His words. Who would ever argue against Him? Who would fight against His words? Satan works very hard against Him... He does not want to see people denying themselves, their pleasures, their desires, their flesh, this evil world and its habits. He wants to take every of us to hell with him... He tries to deceive us by saying: "This is just your flesh... It is normal, the Lord understands" The truth is that, many will say to Him in that Day... Many will seek to enter and they will not be able. And many surely will not understand why because they were deceived, they did not hear the Lord nor obeyed His Gospel. It is because they did not hear the Lord, they did not obeyed Him, they preferred to listen to Satan and their flesh. "Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:4 In the name of the Lord Jesus, I tell you: "Surrender, surrender to Me before it is too late". Or do you think the Lord will punish anyone who lived as He desired and loved Him: To seek to depart from sin, deny their flesh, deny themselves, carry their cross, hate their lives to full obedience of Christ. I know Satan makes many people to think that... He tells you that: "It is by grace... No need to repent, no need to please Him... No need to surrender". Do not be deceived, no one can love the Lord Jesus Christ, no one can love God and do what is pleasant in His sight without His grace, His saving mercy and grace. It is by His grace alone, and through faith alone that we seek to please Him, and stay with Him... That we seek to deny ourselves daily, and say NO to all that is unholy, and to live according to His Spirit. We may fail sometimes, but when we fail we suffer, we cry, we repent and pray and seek to do what is right next time, because we love Him. Please, start loving Him today. "But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him." - 1 Corinthians 8:3 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." - Romans 8:1 I know where I was about 1 year ago, and from where the Lord took me from... I tell you my testimony here, because I have experienced the grace of God, the true grace of God... I have experienced His love. I can tell you: There is nothing better in this world than to walk in His light. Do not be deceived. I have faced many obstacles, many traps of Satan who tried to stop me and go back... Satan really tries very hard against true repentance. I had the same difficulties anyone find in the flesh: Vices, addictions, bad habits, evil desires, idolatry, the love for earthly things. And I can tell you that by the grace of God alone, through faith alone... By seeking, praying, and watching and applying His instructions I have been winning against all those things. Through faith in Him. To Him be the glory. "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" - Luke 11:13 Satan always come with excuses: "It is all OK, by His grace you are OK... No need to repent, no need to flee from evil, it is just how you are" Satan is a liar, a big deceiver... And he is deceiving many... In the name of the Lord Jesus: "Do not play with your salvation. Deny yourselves and take your cross". "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." - Matthew 16:25 Who is the only who would fight against a holy life? Who is the only who would fight against true repentance?! Only Satan would fight against those things... And I see there are many people who resist the Holy Spirit, who resist full submission of their lives to the Lord. And this will surely, lead many, many to destruction. Do not hear Satan... Hear the Lord, obey Him by faith, and have life. "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" - Matthew 7:21-23 I do not know how many will believe in what I am writing... But I just hope you do not cry and suffer everlasting torment for not believing and receiving the truth. "There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out." - Luke 13:28 In the name of the Lord Jesus: "Surrender, surrender to Me before it is too late". It is time to surrender, says the Lord. "for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." - Romans 14:17 Glory to God! Amen.

  8. It is no wonder... I want to remind you that even Satan quotes scripture to deceive people. "and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’" - Matthew 4:6 "Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”" - Matthew 4:7 That is when vigilance and rightly dividing the Word of Truth is very, very important. And only by grace the Lord can give us wisdom and lead us to the truth. "But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”" - James 4:6 "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." - James 1:5 Glory to God! Amen.

  10. See HOW FAST its really beginning to infect the minds . We will sadly see this go through the roof yowm. Its why by grace I did all I could to warn against it . I KNOW you are dead set against that interfaith, but yowm, in time we really will be the by far minority , EVEN in Christendom. Yowm , its going to go viral THIS YEAR . it will swell more than ever into minds and hearts . It might seem I warn out a bit excessive at times. But really I am just doing as I am led. Brother it really is going to explode fast this year . oh yes , a delusion has began that will increase till everyone not TRULY of the lamb has sold out to the all inclusive ecumenical lie . The dark king and kings, the hour of great betrayal, IS INDEED SPEEDING right at us or we right at it . The time will come when even those who claim Christ in mouth only will see us as dangerous and in the way of world peace and unity. and brother , to be honest , While I don't know HOW MUCH time is left till it gets to that point , this I do know, WE FAST ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME . This mindset will increase . But that means we must increase in warning out against it and pointing to ONLY JESUS for ONLY JESUS SAVES .

  11. If their hearts welcome, truly, the Lord Jesus, they would be saved. But when people hears, is convicted and simply ignore... It is sad. "Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!" - Matthew 10:15 "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death." - 2 Corinthians 7:10 Surrender, people, surrender to the Lord Jesus before it is too late. Obey the Gospel. "For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them." - Matthew 13:15 “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” - Luke 5:31-32

  15. I thought I would interject this into the conversation. My husband grew up extremely poor. His family got government commodities, which were the boxes of food and clothing. He said it was like Christmas. The family was happy with to get the boxes. They didnt feel like they were cheated or that it was too controlling. Quite frankly, the idea that it is too controlling strikes me as unreasonable. It is a handout. Not something you are owed. One should be grateful for whatever one gets instead of thinking one should be able to do whatever they want with it.

  17. Get Ready For A World Currency This was the cover of the 1988 magazine - `The Economist magazine.` It displayed the picture of a Phoenix world currency rising from the ashes of national fiat currencies. ie destruction of fiat currencies via hyperinflation. The Phoenix is an occult metaphor. Out of the destruction, the ashes of the old world order, the Luciferian New World order will rise like a Phoenix. `In 1988 the Economist magazine writers predicted that in 30 years - 2018 that people in rich countries like America, Japan, Europe and many others will probably be paying for their shopping with the same currency. Prices will not be quoted in dollars, yen or D-marks, but in say the Phoenix. The Phoenix will be favoured by companies and shoppers because it will be more convenient than today`s national currencies, which by then will seem a quaint cause of much disruption to economic life in the last twentieth century. The world Phoenix supply would be fixed by a new central bank, descended perhaps from the IMF. (International Monetary Fund). This would mean a big loss of economic sovereignty. The Phoenix would probably start as a cocktail of national currencies, just as the SDR`s (Special Drawing Right) are today. In time, though its value against national currencies would cease to matter, because people would choose (vote with their wallet) it for its convenience and the stability of its purchasing power. Pencil in the Phoenix for around 2018 and welcome it when it comes.` (excepts from the Economist 1988) Seems like this year will herald in big changes. What do you see? Marilyn.

  18. ARMAGEDDON The final Gentile Global Government is headed up by the Antichrist and the False Prophet. In the middle of the tribulation they break the Israel Peace-Covenant and desecrate the Temple in Jerusalem. God steps in and obliterates their capital city - the city of Babylon in Iraq. In great fury the Anti-Christ moves his government over to Jerusalem and then plans to exterminate the nation of Israel. Great persecution follows and finally after three years demons are sent forth to gather the world`s armies to the plain at the north of Israel, Armageddon. `...they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that Great day of God Almighty.....and they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.` (Rev. 16: 14 & 16) Thus the armies of every nation in the world will initially gather at Armageddon. There, they will be consolidated into one mighty invasion force. It will advance in extended order, stretching from the Mediterranean Sea, to the Jordan valley. This gigantic army will sweep through the plains of Esdraelon and Samaria conquering and subduing every town and village, exterminating all Israelis enroute. Finally this force will encompass the city of Jerusalem which will eventually be overwhelmed, conquered and looted. Two-thirds of the whole Israel nation will be slain. Jesus said `When you see, Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognise that her desolation is at hand.` (Luke 21: 20) Israel as a nation will be broken and crushed. The armies of all the nations of the world will be marshalled in victory formation outside Jerusalem. What a triumph! The whole world of at least 300 million troops against Israel! What an overkill!! However it is predicted by Jesus that it will be a pyrrhic victory. (pyrrhic - costing more to the victor than to the vanquished). `And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky.` (Matt. 24: 30)

I spent much time studying the occult and discovered that the more you learn about it the more you get involved with it whether or not you really want...... and no I would never discuss it on a board like this because it might get someone interested who is a new Christian (or someone like yourself that doesn't seem to understand the plight they are in for dealing with it in any form), and in the process get them involved with the dark side in ways that very few people I know could handle. The advice I would give you for your own good is to get far away from anything pertaining to the occult and put your whole being in the hands of Jesus.... And the advice I would give to others would be not to interface with you concerning occult things.....

  34. Oh I completely understand you. I am in prayer for my husbands salvation. When we met neither of us were rooted in the word. Now, I am, and praying for his salvation has been a battle. Not a battle between he and I but between the forces of evil and darkness. It just seems like as soon as I got into God's word and started praying for his salvation Satan has been at work overtime to discourage me. One day can be beautiful and then the next day or sometimes the next moment he will say something or do something that is completely against what I am praying for. It is very difficult and very discouraging I know God's timing is perfect. I know He hears me and I just have to wait patiently for him to move in my husbands life. I see subtle changes already and I have to praise God for that. I know He is working in him. God will send him through something where all he has to look to will be Him. He did the same for me, and I am thankful for it everyday. Trust me I know what you are going through, I am going through it as well. I cry almost everyday. But in the midst of my tears I praise God because I know He has heard me and is answering my prayer everyday. The breakthrough won't happen overnight, but when it does I will have a praising partner. You will too. Just keep the faith my sister. Don't give up on God, He hears you and is working on your husband, just as he is working on mine. God bless. I am praying for you

  36. Exactly... That is why submission to the truth, to the Lord and His Spirit is so important. As God resist the proud and give grace to the humble. "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him." - Matthew 11:27 "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day." - John 6:44 Only God can show and lead us to the truth, without Him we are in the enemy's hand and his deceiving abilities. "Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”" - Genesis 3:1 "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." - Revelation 12:9

  37. Everything in the bible is inspired and useful for our instruction, reproof etc. I think it is important to understand that what we have in the bible currently can be counted on and stood upon as solid ground. BUT when I think about it, that word "canon" is troubling.......since the Catholic Church also has a presumptuous practice of "canonizing" saints.....which essentially deifies them. And it seems we have just accepted without question this thing called the "canonization" of the bible. So what the Popes chose to remove from the writings of the faith in their fallen human wisdom and motives makes me wonder. In later years they tried to also hide from the flock even what they had chosen to include.....punishing or executing people if they were even caught owing a bible. In other words darkness is the stock in trade of the RCC, so why should we accept anything they do or say. That said, anyone needs to know the bible and the God of the bible really well, so that they can test anything else they might read against it. And it is for the Lord to lead us what to read and when, if we are led by the Spirit. Seeking to satisfy our natural curiosity apart from the Lord can lead astray, so we should just stick close to Jesus and follow Him in all things.....He is the one of whom the scriptures testify. It is possible even to seek knowledge from the bible with wrong motives and that comes with its own judgment as well.

O grave, where is thy victory? 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. and I Thessalonians 4: 13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. I assumed that if you know anything about the rapture that you would know these verses sorry for that assumption. Both of these text indicate that the resurrection preceeds the rapture.

  39. I forgot to mention. I have the six volume set of Matthew Henry's Commentary. I looked about every place but there, because the print is so small and it's difficult to find exactly what you're looking for unless you read a number of pages to zero in on it.

  40. If anyone heard the Gospel, and did not believe and repent of his/her wicked ways... Then how is that showing mercy?! Scriptures are clear, that anyone who do not believe will be condemned. "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." - Mark 16:16

  41. If anyone love God, then he/she will automatically love people... It is by His love in us that we love. We cannot love the world or lies, love rejoices in the truth. God's word is truth. "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." - 1 John 2:15 Surrender, people, surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ... Obey the Gospel! "Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams." - 1 Samuel 15:22

  42. What he is asking you is where is the resurrection that accompanies the so called pre-trib rapture in the Bible? The resurrection after the tribulation is written about in Rev.20 for everyone to read.

  43. Where is the resurrection before the tribulation? Only by adding to the scriptures can a resurrection be found. The primary texts of the rapture link the rapture and the resurrection. You do remember that the dead in Christ shall rise first? Only if you can produce a resurrection before the tribulation which may take some mental gymnastics can you say that there is a pre-tribulation rapture. Straight up the rapture follows the resurrection.

  44. Greetings Montana Marv, Jesus taught many things concerning the way that the kingdom works and what it is. This parable teaches that both the wheat (those swon of good seed) and the tares (those swon by the wicked one) will grow together until the proper time which is the time of the harvest. The proper time is revealed in Revelations 14: The Harvest of the Earth 14And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Notice the first that are gathered are cast into the wine press of the wrath of God.

  45. That is the problem... We see dedicated Catholics, dedicated atheists, dedicated muslims, dedicated dancer, dedicated athlete, dedicated <evil> addict... but when it comes to become a dedicated Jesus follower and disciple... They all start to make excuses. Surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ, people! Before it is too late. "And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown." - 1 Corinthians 9:25

  46. Greetings Unfailing Presence, It is interesting that you claim that the Pre-tribulation rapture is the only position that is in harmony with the Word of Jesus. Jesus said that the tares wopuld be gathered out first before the wheat. There is no time in the words of Jesus that He nullifies these words. The Parable of the Weeds (Ezekiel 17:1-10) 24Jesus presented another parable to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.25But while everyone was asleep, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and slipped away. 26When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared. 27The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ 28‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. So the servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ 29‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest. At the proper time I will tell the harvesters, “First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.”’” The timing of the rapture is connected with a resurrection. There is not a resurrection before the tribulation. I Thessalonians 4: The Return of the Lord 13Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. 14For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. 15By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. 17After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. It is not safe to add a resurrection before the Tribulation.

  47. That is what I talking about... People resist, they seem to flee the Lord... This worries me. "From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more." - John 6:66 "For many are called, but few are chosen." - Matthew 22:14

  48. The simple answer is to resist the devil and he will flee. Avoid the things that are tempting you, which may not be easy to do, but it is what is necessary. At some point you have to submit yourself to God if you want to please Him. Paul speaks about renewing your mind, this is something you should do each day when you wake and resolve to doing so throughout the day. Ultimately the choice is yours, God is not going to force you, so you have to make a choice who you will serve, yourself, or God? Praying for you, God bless.

  49. Good advice Butero, Being unequally yoked has caused a lot of heartaches in marriages. For that very reason we have this warning in the Word of God; 2 Cor. 6:14, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? Now if I was IvyLynn I would ask her future husband if he would leave the SDA for her, and see how he reacts to such a request.
