  1. I was born with an Intellectual Learning Disability but I wasn't diagnosed straight away, I can't remember at what age I was diagnosed but I was still very little when my pediatrition diagnosed me with this disability. I am currently 27 years old and I feel like my disability has stopped me from doing many things and make a living for myself. I really struggled with the work and didn't really have any friends at school, I was basically the unpopular kid that all the other kids wanted to pick on and were very nasty to me for no reason. And all the people who claimed to be my friends just ditched me, i'm still living under my Mum's roof,I don't have very much work experience, I have no career, hardly any income, not even close to getting my drivers license, I havn't even gone for my learners yet. I feel like it has even prevented me from having a love life and my social life isn't so great either, in a recent previous post reguarding my Depression & Anxiety issues someone asked me where God comes into this? I may get the same or a similar question to this post, but the truth is I have no clue where or even how God comes into this situation or any situation I have been or going through. I didn't become a believer until around 2013 but I didn't start attending church until around December 2015, I have been to three different churches since then and as people say "third luck is a charm" I found a church where I feel welcome and accepted for who I am. I guess it's normal for Christians or someone of any religion to go to different churches etc until they feel they have found "the one" that they will stick with. I believe I have found that church and the people there are so lovely, welcoming & accepting. I hope that I will have the same experience as well on this forum with all of you. May God give you mercy & peace. ❤️2 minutes ago

  2. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples. John 15:7 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship.Romans 12:1 Matthew Henry Commentary 12:1,2 The apostle having closed the part of his epistle wherein he argues and proves various doctrines which are practically applied, here urges important duties from gospel principles. He entreated the Romans, as his brethren in Christ, by the mercies of God, to present their bodies as a living sacrifice to Him. This is a powerful appeal. We receive from the Lord every day the fruits of his mercy. Let us render ourselves; all we are, all we have, all we can do: and after all, what return is it for such very rich receivings? It is acceptable to God: a reasonable service, which we are able and ready to give a reason for, and which we understand. Conversion and sanctification are the renewing of the mind; a change, not of the substance, but of the qualities of the soul. The progress of sanctification, dying to sin more and more, and living to righteousness more and more, is the carrying on this renewing work, till it is perfected in glory. The great enemy to this renewal is, conformity to this world. Take heed of forming plans for happiness, as though it lay in the things of this world, which soon pass away. Do not fall in with the customs of those who walk in the lusts of the flesh, and mind earthly things. The work of the Holy Ghost first begins in the understanding, and is carried on to the will, affections, and conversation, till there is a change of the whole man into the likeness of God, in knowledge, righteousness, and true holiness. Thus, to be godly, is to give up ourselves to God.

  3. Since I don't trust in me , but ONLY in CHRIST , I would wait on the LORD , and SINCE HE KNOWS exactly what that man would need to hear , I would speak it in that hour . WORRY not what to say , FOR I WILL GIVE YOU A MOUTH . TRUSTING IN THE LORD is the one thing that has brought me the peace that passes all understanding . ITS NOT on me what to say , and praise the LORD for that , for I know not what to say , BUT OH , THE LORD KNOWS ALL THINGS . SO wait on the LORD and HE will give you what to say to anyone in whatever bind they are in . SPECIFIC ENOUGH. THAT is all I need do . WAIT on the LORD .

  5. Hab 2:4 "Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith. We are saved by grace through faith, but the Christian life is also a walk of faith. Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. The walk of faith is a bit scary and adventuresome. God leads us to go and we step out and go, not knowing where or why but trusting God to lead the way. No wonder unbelievers don't understand us. We don't understand either. We just trust and obey.

  6. The Church of Christ is bent toward a do get relationship with God ~when in fact it is a relationship and do reality... I went to one for about a year and your right the worship is slightly off. You must be immersed into God by Spirit to have new birth and eternal life with God... the foolishness is they think that which will pass away can be manipulated for eternal things when God has said 2 Peter 3:10-13 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. KJV If you are to have a stone house what must it be made of; if you are to have a brick house what must it be made of; if you are to have an eternal house what must it be made of.... so if the material is not here then in faith Heb 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. KJV we look for that which is promised as though it were already here and that which we are in as though it is of no more value than to be burned up...

  7. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Truly, truly I say unto you, he that believes on Me hath everlasting life. John 6:47 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. John 1:12 For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

  11. Amen Yown .. 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images of mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. 24Therefore God gave them up in the desires of their hearts to impurity for the dishonoring of their bodies with one another.25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator, who is forever worthy of praise! Romans 1:24 "If anyone causes one of these little ones--those who believe in me--to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matt.18:6 8I shall keep Your statutes; Do not forsake me utterly! Beth. 9How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word. 10With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. Psalm 119:9 Jesus is Coming …14Blessed are those who wash their robes so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates. 15But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 16“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.”…Rev.22:15

  14. The Devil believes in Jesus. He was there from the beginning. Believing and recieving are two different things. When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives, make Him the center of our lives, live as He would have us to live, follow Him we will go to Heaven. To just believe is not enough. we need to act on our belief and lives as His Word tells us to live. Because He Lives... RustyAngel

  16. I think slowly fuming for years over such issues hurts the offended one far more then the one who is the focus of the offense.. The thing to do is to give it all over the the LORD Jesus Christ and allow Him to deal with the situation as He deems fit.. Anger is like a weight on your shoulders.. Lugging it around for years is just toxic to all concerned.. It is a heavy debilitating burden..

  17. Hi, Regardless of circumstances in either situation, just who is carrying a burden over them today? Developing a keen sense for slights is just that a burden that wears on the heart. It just doesn't matter a wit what happened nor when. Let it go, put on a happy countenance and go about proclaiming the wonder of the gospel of our Lord and savior. Should it be that you still feel bad about not attending a wedding, then say so to God. Ask Him what to do about that now. And if the answer seems to be apologize for not attending a wedding then share that you feel bad to this day about it and give a nice surprise anniversary gift to the wedded couple. But please do not share your sense of having slighted someone, by balancing flaws, finding someone else, a pastor who in your opinion did something similar , and then try to balance that all out to feel justified in some manner. Instead let it go, be appreciative that the pastor bothered to mention your extended family member at any time. Why you could perhaps get over your own sense of being slighted by sending that pastor a note saying thanks for your mention of my family member, I miss him too. It was nice to hear his name mentioned, thanks. My point and suggestion is please consider being pro active in getting past your own burden, shake it off, don't let the evil one, nor your own mind, weight you down. Get back to a happier countenance and praise God for it. It is hard to sing He Lives He lives Christ lives today while carrying the burden of small slights around. Hard to participate in the Lord's supper that way too. So please for your own well being bury the slights and put a grave marker on them, and move on having finalized that issue. Just my thoughts for whatever they might be worth-

  18. Sometimes, you just have to ask the person accusing you exactly what they meant. Sometimes there is an issue under the surface that they don't know how to deal with, but you might be able to help them. Sometimes people are just plain angry. Proverbs 22:24-25 ¶ Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: 25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul. Proverbs 29:22 ¶ An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.

  19. Believing in the existence of God isn't the only thing that will get you saved. Satan believes in the existence of God, too. He has even talked to Him. You need to accept Jesus in your heart if you want to be saved. That's what a Christian is.

  20. Why is it that some believers seem to go much deeper in their walk with God than others? I believe it has to do with a desire to pursue God and not to stop until they feel His very presence in their lives. These believers decide not to settle for anything less than a growing, vibrant relationship with God, and God honors that desire for those who seek it. 23. Yes, Eha, and realize TODAY (("NOW")) is the darkest day so far in human history. Until Yahshua returns, Every day will be darker. ((For all those not Redeemed. )) More people are alive on earth than ever before, and more are denying the Father and rejecting Christ Jesus our Lord than ever before, all the while being recruited, kept and deceived, told they are saved or they are okay no matter what by whatever voice they listen to. ((under the prince of the power of the aire; the devil))....
