  1. No matter what anyone here says to you, you are going to do what you want anyway. It saddens me to no end that young girls want so badly to look "sexy" in very little clothing for strangers on the internet. I googled both names of these women and hundreds of pictures came up. Yes, they are attractive, but what does this mean to you? Why do you want to be those women? Some of those pictures are definitely ONLY for men's entertainment. You are aware of what some men do while looking at those pictures. Here is what the Bible says about beauty: 1 Samuel 6:7 = "The LORD does not look at the things that man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance. God looks at the heart." Proverbs 31:30 = "Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but the woman who fears the LORD is to be praised." Proverbs 11:22 = "Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman with no discretion." Now God is not calling a beautiful woman a pig - he is calling her a gold ring. But when you put that gold ring in the nose of a pig - you only see the nasty pig. The gold ring goes unnoticed. When women take off their clothes or wear very little clothes and take sexy pictures of themselves for strange people to gawk at - the true beautiful nature of herself is hidden. All that is seen is individual body parts, odd and fake poses, and hair/makeup that isn't natural. And those pictures serve a ungodly purpose. I know this isn't what you want to hear. I've taught many young women who obsessively take selfies of themselves and put them all over the internet. They are looking, in vain, for acceptance, love, self-esteem, and more that cannot be found in the heart of a stranger on the other end of the internet who is looking at the images NOT to give acceptance, love, and self-esteem, but to take, take, and consume all that can be taken from the images. I have a tremendous burden for the girls of this generation whose only role models are the Kardashians. This is not glorifying God nor exalting yourself in a spiritual manner. There is nothing wrong with beauty. But there is something terribly wrong and wicked with exploiting the body parts of women for lustful gain. And that's what these photos do.

  5. Another beautiful gem, this one by the old time preacher, Andrew Murray.... And so the inner divine life in a man is something quite different from the intellect with which he knows about it. That intellect is indeed most needful, to offer to the heart the Word of God which the Holy Spirit can quicken. And yet it is absolutely impotent, either to impart, or quicken, the true life. It is but a servant that carries the food; it is the heart that must feed, and be nourished and live.

  8. And the first people to be baptized in the Holy Spirit were...wait for it.... Jews! As a matter of spiritual truth there are no 'christians'. This was a moniker coined by mankind at Antioch. Jesus never calls His followers 'Christ-like'. In my mind "Christian" is a misnomer and has now become an affectation. Truth: We are grafted into the olive tree of the faith of Abraham and are his seed. Any who are in Christ are of the seed of Abraham without respect of person. Claiming there exists Jews and Christians in a spiritual sense is division rejecting the reality of the truth in Christ.

  9. The real gist of it concerns the predilection of some to divide people into groups through base understanding. Spiritually, the only understanding that truly matters, there are two groups: saved and unsaved. Everything God designs is geared to the eternal salvation of all people sans any temporal difference. A vital and profound truth is the nature of the people of God. Abraham's spiritual seed is set to inherit the earth and the kingdom. If we are not of the seed of Abraham we inherit death. If groups wish to divide between the Jews, which are both the physical seed and the blind spiritual seed of Abraham, and one of the many divisions of 'Christianity', then they remove themselves from the promises made to the seed of Abraham. If we are not that seed we do not receive of the promises. "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." Galatians 3:16 "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Galatians 3:27-29 And the exchange devolves into nonsense yet again. "Jesus replied, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection.' - Luke 20 The implication, right or wrong, is that we are transformed and the concept of gender, and it's temporal reality, no longer exists. Several bits of evidence suggest this is true. But you go... In the mean, prepare for battle, the war is coming.

  10. ISAIAH 3:8-10 For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen because they spoke and acted against the Lord, defying His glorious presence. The expression on their faces testifies against them and like Sodom, they flaunt their sin; they do not conceal it; woe to them, for they have brought disaster upon themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well for them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their labor...

  13. Basic rule of thumb for things like this is that if you're asking if its okay that might be the Spirit telling you its not. The verses Jayne posted are a good start on what the Bible has to say on it. Also, ask yourself this: "Who gets the glory?" If its not Jesus who gets the glory, then its probably not okay.

  14. I would think the answer is obvious, in that for a prophet to actually be a prophet, the prophecys would have to come true-if they do not, then the prophet, regardless of whether they were from God, is by definition, a false prophet.....so im failing to see the point of this post?

  15. It would not hurt anyone, to read Acts 15, where it says in part: 28“For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials: 29that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell.” There it can easily be seen, that the focus is not upon keeping the law of the old covenant. Those who are obligated to keep the law as the way to life, are obligated to keep the whole law. The choice is there, but but one succeeds, while the other fails. That is what the good news of the Gospel is, that you can have the righteousness of Christ, instead of being eternally separated from God because our righteousness cannot measure up to the standard of perfection. Jesus said: Jesus said, "Be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect" Can we do that, no, we cannot DO that, but, we can BE that. 2 Corinthians 5:21, the apostle Paul told us that God “made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” We, the chosen, have a new wardrobe, we are wearing the righteousness off Christ, instead of the dirty garments of our sin. We are now made perfect, having the sinlessness of Jesus imparted to us, regardless of the fact, that we fall short of that in how we live. Good news indeed!

  16. The deepest anxiety I have is that I won't enter the eternal kingdom of God (new Jerusalem) and God will reject me after death due to my continual sinful nature. I've repented and was baptized, yet darkness still nags at my mind and I still sin... I'm assuming deliberately as we are all responsible for our actions. If I can lose my salvation, how will I know before it is too late?

  18. 1 John 2:18–19 (AV) 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. You can't lose salvation or walk away from it ever... to do so means you never had salvation in the first place.

  19. No Jesus did not admit He lost Judas? Judas never was anything but of his own will... John 12:4-6 4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, 5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. KJV The Lord knew Judas would never let go of the things of this world to receive Him … an example of God's use of His foreknowledge to complete the fulfillment of His Word. We know The Lord loved Judas and in everyway showed it to him but Judas would never let go of himself or the things of this world to receive Jesus... as when he saw the betrayal was to be so brutal, to the One Who had loved him perfectly, and didn't go according to his own will, to whatever end toward his desires, hanged himself for it was his will to execute final judgment upon himself. Judas reveals a person who has only one will that of which is dead of the 1st born self and the necessary repentance to cry out from the death never occurred all the way to the end in death...

  20. Faith is the currency of heaven, fear is the currency of hell. This season I believe we should not entertain Halloween which is a pagan holiday rooted in fear, schemes and demon worship. Many don't know the origins of this pagan holiday and defend it need to do some research and ask themselves am I pleasing God or the devil participating in this... As Christian believers we should only embrace God's way of doing things and not the world. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. The bible say this! Fear comes by listening to the lies of the devil. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of POWER, LOVE and A SOUND MIND. Again Faith comes by hearing the word of GOD... If you need your faith built up read out loud God's holy scripture or listen to it on a particular topic.

He was so loving...followed me everywhere, snuggled up against me on the couch, slept on my bed with me, he was gorgeous! The other cat of mine, is not so affectionate, can be quite distant but still likes occasional affection from me. I used to have a dog (malamute), but prefer cats, much easier to take care of.

  27. Here is a problem Betha, Without going into a long explanation or discourse on Soteriology, let's just look at a fundamental passage and see what is there for us: 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Notice: That we HAVE BEEN saved - it is past tense, already a done deal Not from anything that we have done or will do, it is a GIFT of God, not something we earned or merited There is no claim made, that we have to do anything in order to keep it, it is, after all a gift Not the result of works, that no one can boast. If we have to work for our salvation, then we have something to boast about Now there is work involved in procuring our salvation to be sure, but it is not our work, it is His work, we are His workmanship and are saved by His work on the cross for us We were created for good works, that is how we live out the salvation we already have, that is how those who are saved, live, we do good works Let's pay attention to God's order in scripture. He saves us, and He chose us in eternity from before the foundation of the world, before we did anything, before we knew anything, before we could choose anything. We know we are the chosen, the saved, once we have acknowledged Him as our Lord and savior, and believe in our hearts, that God raised Jesus from the dead. We know that this is not just some emotional experience we had in some moment in time, if we stay the course in our lives, and continue to love Him, love others, particularly love the family of God, and continue doing those good works that God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. All of that, is not the cause of salvation, not how we keep salvation, it is the evidence that we have been saved. Apart from that, we should examine ourselves, and if we find ourselves lacking, perhaps we should hesitate to be confident that we have been saved, as faith without works is dead. Those who are born again, will live out their new natures, given by God. Why did I go to the trouble to expound shortly on this? Because others will read it, and need to know, that we are saved by God, through faith, not by works. That they should know, that we all fall short, but we do not lose that salvation, because he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philipp 1:6). They also need to understand, that they are not kept by their works, Jesus loses none of those given to Him by the Father, and if we are working to maintain our salvation, or to finish it, then we are stealing God's glory, and expressing doubt in His abilities or promises of salvation. That is why is elaborated so much. However, why I responded in the first place, is because you, through your good intentions, are casting doubt on the salvation of others, when you say: They cannot stop halfway, because if they are saved, it is a salvation that was already completed. They HAVE been saved, not will be saved if. So, please try not to imply that they are not saved, or that God failed. It is fair to say, that they should make sure of their salvation through self examination of their lives, including their works, and not be over-confident. Additionally, there is not a laundry list of things that need to be done, like there was under the law, given to Moses to pass on the Israelites the descendants of Jacob. Those were given to a specific people, not the the future church, not to the world. God had a new, a better covenant, not based in works that not one person, apart of Jesus, has been able to do. The new covenant is based in faith, and even that faith, is given to us by God. Also, since you mentioned the Sabbath in your title, i thought i would quote this from Got Questions to save myself some time: In Colossians 2:16-17, the apostle Paul declares, “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.” Similarly, Romans 14:5 states, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” These Scriptures make it clear that, for the Christian, Sabbath-keeping is a matter of spiritual freedom, not a command from God. Sabbath-keeping is an issue on which God’s Word instructs us not to judge each other. Sabbath-keeping is a matter about which each Christian needs to be fully convinced in his/her own mind.

THE ONLY NAME whereby we are saved . The only ONE who can keep us from falling , SO HEED HIM AT ALL TIMES , HEED the SPIRIT and not the flesh . RAISE those hands up and praise the LORD everyone . THE FREER OF MEN and breaker of the chains of bondage which once held even us in bondage to sin a slave to it . OH BUT GREATER IS HE . PRAISE BE TO THE LORD . GLORY and all thanksgiving TO THE LORD . LET the praise of the LORD be on our lips continually , FOR we have ALL HOPE . And we seek a city which is to come . And are not partakers , but simply strangers in a strange land , THAT one day the meek in Christ shall inherit . OHHH lift those hands to the LORD and fear nothing that is coming against us , fear not a thing man can do . Whether we live , die , suffer , WE THE ONES WHO GOT ALL HOPE . BECAUSE OUR HOPE IS THE LORD HIMSELF . PRAISE THE LORD PEOPLES , REJOICE IN THE LORD .

  29. Mar 16:2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. Mar 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. The early Gentile Christians met on the first day of the week since Paul had preached to the Jews in the synagogs on the 7th day. They had begged that he preach to them also. It is only fitting that we celebrate resurrection day. Col 2:13 NKJV And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, Col 2:14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Col 2:16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, Col 2:17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Christ is our sabbath. He arose on the morning of the first day of the week. He set us free from the law of sin and death. Keeping the law does not merit salvation. Keeping Christ merits salvation. Christ fulfilled the requirements of the law on our behalf, and placed His blood on the heavenly alter removing our sin. Keeping the law does not merit salvation. We who have salvation keep the law of love as an expression of our salvation. 1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Gal 5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. Isa 64:6 But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; Gal 5:13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." Gal 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. I plead with all who attempt to be justified by the law. That is terrible bondage that causes you to be estranged from Christ and fall from grace by seeking to be justified by your own works of righteousness. I beg you to repent and place your full trust and rest in what Christ Jesus has done for you. No good works on our part can possibly merit salvation and are but filthy putrid rags in God's eyes. Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, Rom 3:22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Rom 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Rom 3:25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, Rom 3:26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

  30. Shabbat shalom, OldCoot. No, that's the problem! Not by the rules of either English or Hebrew can the "prince that shall come" be the subject of the verbs in verse 27! YOU should remember the rules! The "prince that shall come" is the OBJECT OF A PREPOSITION "OF!" In Hebrew, it is the SECOND noun in a NOUN STATE CONSTRUCT! Neither of these can be the subject of the sentence! The subject must go back farther to the NEXT singular noun, "Mashiyach" ("Messiah") in verse 26!

  31. Shabbat shalom, Montana Marv. Sorry, but you "rested your case" prematurely. Let's look at Daniel 9:24 together, shall we? English: Daniel 9:24 (KJV) 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Hebrew: Dani'el 9:24 (JPS Hebrew-English TANAKH) 24 Shaavu`iym shiv`iym nechtakh `al-`amkhaa v’`al-`iyr qaadshekha l’kalei’ hapesha` uwlhaateem chaTaa’owt uwlkhapeer `aavon uwlhaaviy’ tsedeq `olaamiym v’lachtom chaazown v’naaviy’ v’limshoach qodesh qaadaashiym: The word "`al" is commonly interpreted into English as "against." 5921 `al (al). Properly, the same as `al used as a preposition (in the singular or plural often with prefix, or as conjunction with a particle following); above, over, upon, or against (yet always in this last relation with a downward aspect) in a great variety of applications (as follow) -- above, according to(-ly), after, (as) against, among, and, X as, at, because of, beside (the rest of), between, beyond the time, X both and, by (reason of), X had the charge of, concerning for, in (that), (forth, out) of, (from) (off), (up-)on, over, than, through(-out), to, touching, X with. Also, the "l-" prefix, a "lamed," interpreted as "to," is used to make a verb into an infinitive. So, we have six infinitives. When the "vav" prefix is added, whether that sounds like a "v-" or an "uw-," the connective interpreted as "and," is added. As six infinitives, who or what is the source of each activity - the subject - is unclear. Thus, one should NOT assume that "Israel will ... " do any of the six! To the contrary, we're told that "Seventy Sevens are determined or divided AGAINST Dani'el's people and AGAINST Dani'el's Holy City, Yerushalayim." This simply means that they will be affected by these Seventy Sevens, but THEY are not necessarily the ones who perform the six infinitives. And, looking at what the Messiah accomplished in His first advent, we see that He DID perform the first three. In fact, they are objectives that Israel couldn't POSSIBLY perform! Simply ask yourself, Will Isra'el indeed "finish their transgressions," or did Yeshua` "finish those transgressions" for them (and us)? These transgressions are REBELLIONS. The word "transgression" means an "overstepping of a boundary," and "rebellion" means "to revolt against the rules of another." And, to "finish" means to "shut up," "restrain," or "withhold." How can ANYONE restrain themselves against their own rebellion or overstepping God's boundaries? It's morally IMPOSSIBLE! That's why GOD must step in and do for us what we cannot do for ourselves! Will Isra'el indeed "make an end of sins?" OR, would we more likely expect Yeshua` to "make that end of sins?" How could this be possible without the Messiah's sacrificial death? Finally, how can Isra'el HOPE to "make reconciliation for iniquity?" In 2 Corinthians 5, Paul makes it clear that GOD through Yeshua` His Messiah must "make reconciliation for iniquity." The children of Israel cannot do the other three purposes, either: Only Yeshua` the Messiah can usher in everlasting righteousness/justice/being-just as the KING OF RIGHTEOUSNESS! Hebrews 7:1-17 (KJV) 1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. 4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. 5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: 6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. 7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. 8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. 9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. 11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. The name in Hebrew is "Malkhiy-Tsedeq," which means "My-King of-Righteousness/Justice/Being-Just." Therefore, HE'S the One who "brings in righteousness everlasting!" "... and to seal up the vision and prophecy, ..." The Hebrew word for "to seal up" is "lachtom," the infinitive form of "chaatam," written in Strong's as "chatham": 2856 chatham (khaw-tham'). A primitive root; to close up; especially to seal -- make an end, mark, seal (up), stop. Question: What is the ONLY way to close up a vision and a prophecy? Answer: The vision and the prophecy must be FULFILLED! Nothing else will end the vision or the prophecy, which are both given by the omniscient, eternal God, YHWH, who never changes! Here, they may have a hand in it, but it is GOD'S SON, the MESSIAH, who will fulfill the rest! Yeshua` said that they would not see Him again "till (until) ye shall say, 'Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.'" (Matthew 23:39.) So, their part is to WELCOME the Messiah in the name (on the authority) of YHWH. Yeshua`s part will be ... EVERYTHING ELSE! "... and to anoint the most Holy." The phrase "most Holy" in Hebrew is "qodesh qaadaashiym," or the "Holy of-Holies." This is a label and a title for the innermost Sanctum of both the Tabernacle and the Temple. It is the place where God made shikhnow (His habitation) known! (Deuteronomy 12:5.) It's the Messiah (David's "seed") who establishes the Temple forever, and Yeshua` is the One who will fulfill that prophecy. 2 Samuel 7:8-16 (KJV) 8 Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel: 9 And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth. 10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime, 11 And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house. 12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: 15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. 16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. Yeshua` does this, as Gavri'el predicted to both Dani'el and Miryam ("Mary"): Luke 1:30-33 (KJV) 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. While it is true that they will anoint Him as their King this time, as the leaders did David, God has already anointed Yeshua` just as He had David far sooner than any men had.

  33. It is walking humbly with YHVH if we love one another and support one another in the body, even when we may not agree theologically on every issue. You have almost elevated Shabbat observance to a condition of salvation, having implied that the atonement of Yeshua's death, burial, and resurrection is not enough. And when one does such things, pride has a chance to puff one up. And of course his disciples and Miriam kept the Shabbat. They are all Hebrews of the Mosaic, / Sinai covenant. But what of the Patriarchs of the Hebrews... Avraham, Yitzhak, and Yacov... there is no supporting text that they observed the Shabbat in any ritualistic sense. And why would one now want to place themselves under the Mosaic / Sinai Covenant if they were not born under that covenant? Especially when there is a better covenant established thru Yeshua?

  35. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. John says nothing about the sabbath. His only says to trust in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another. I fear for those who trust in any good works to save them. That is the different Gospel that Paul referred to. Gal 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— Gal 1:7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. Gal 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. Gal 2:19 For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal 2:21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. Our righteousness is through the finished work of the cross. Nothing I do can add to what Christ has done. Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. Gal 3:2 Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Gal 3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? Gal 3:10 For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, "Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them." Gal 3:11 Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for "The righteous shall live by faith." Gal 3:12 But the law is not of faith, rather "The one who does them shall live by them."

  36. They can only deny the oneness of mankind through Christ by spiritual blindness. It's like a dark mystery. The truth a stunning revelation. I am grateful for such insight and thank my Father for you and the brethren, always.

  39. When the rapture happens NO ONE who is saved will be left behind.. Belief in rapture is not a prerequisite for taking part in it.. The Last Trumpet in the Book of Revelation is the 7th trumpet.. Matthew 24 gives details of the day of the return of the LORD Jesus Christ on that day a trumpet will be sounded::: (Matthew 24:29-31) "¶ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: {30} And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. {31} And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." So yes we are agreed the Last trumpet will be the time of the rapture.. And Matthew 24 reveals a trumpet blast on the day of the return of our LORD Jesus.. So if the last trumpet happens before the tribulation and before the second coming of the LORD Jesus then a pre-tribulation rapture believer must then declare that Matthew 24 verse 31 is a lie because there cannot be another trumpet blast after the final trumpet blast... The pre-tribulation rapture doctrine is a delusion that requires people to deny scripture.. To deny words directly from the mouth of Jesus Himself..

  40. Thank you for confirming the point I was trying to make. That was beautifully stated. As the above comment points out, the OT saints and the NT saints make up but one church. They belonged to Christ as we also belong to Christ. The new testament writers understood this concept. By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward. Hebrews 11:24-26 And all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:4 When Jesus returns for His church, the OT saints and the NT saints will together be made immortal. The OT saints and the NT saints make up the bride of the Lamb. The OT saints belong to Christ just as the NT saints do. Simple as that. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming. 1 Corinthians 15:23 OT saints are Christ's and will be made immortal at the same time that NT saints are.

  41. If you don't mind me giving my take on the subject, why not use a little holy logic. In other words, take the Savior at His word. My first reference is in John 10:26, where Jesus is being very plain spoken about those who belongs to Him. John 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 10:30 I and my Father are one. Do you see the word never in verse 27? The Lord said; “and they shall never perish“. The word never comes from the Greek words “ou me”, “oo may”; a double neg. strengthening the denial; not at all:–any more, at all, by any (no) means, neither, never, no (at all), in no case (wise), nor ever, not (at all, in any wise). In other words, not ever going to perish in hell. Very strong meaning there and the Savior intended it to be that way so there’s no question about it. The second thing I want you to note is what follows this statement: “neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand“. The word “pluck” that also comes from the Greek, is harpazo and means: har-pad’-zo; to seize (in various applications):–catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force). Are you strong enough to take someone out of the Lord’s hand? Well Jesus even went further on to say that not only are the redeemed in His hand but also in the Lord God’s hand. Then He made even the further interjection in verse 30 that “I and my Father are one“. If you think that you can over power the Lord Jesus Christ and remove His redeemed from His hand, think again. He is God! Neither can you pluck yourself from His hand. I just showed you where Jesus said a very plain statement about salvation. Then there are those that would say that Jesus really didn’t mean this and that some previously saved sheep will jump out of the Lords hand. Well, that can’t be. Why? Well look at the following scripture verses from Matthew that speak of the Great White Throne judgment. Some say that this is where even the once saved who lost their salvation will be judged. That’s impossible however. This is the judgement of all the lost who never accepted Jesus as their savior. Absolutely none . Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Notice the Savior said “I never knew you” in verse 23. If these folks had been saved at one time, the Lord couldn’t say I never knew you. That would be lying and we know the Savior can’t lie because in John 10:27 he says "I know them". Get my meaning?

  46. The three colors are sufficient to train the mind to "see" the words of the Bible as it relates to man's depraved condition, his need for salvation, and his washed condition as a saint under the Lordship of Jesus. That is the point of three leaf book of no words, it brings the words of the Bible to the mind for the practice of them as each day goes along. The mind having been trained to know the word of God, the three pages becomes simply color coded filing folders. The book can be any practical size from matchbook to table top Bible size. It is especially good for a conversation starter. Thanks for asking-

  47. Hi, I am a bit surprised, The Wordless Book is a famous sermon used and attributed to Charles Haddon Spurgeon, and has been a tool for Child Evangelism Fellowship that has been in use by their missionaries around the world for a long long time. I guess I had better back up a bit an share: From Charles Spurgeon: http://www.romans45.org/spurgeon/sermons/3278.htm for the full famous sermon From which I take this excerpt; The Wordless Book A Sermon (No. 3278) Published on Thursday, November 30th, 1911, Delivered by C. H. SPURGEON, At the Metropolitan Tabernacle, Newington, On Thursday Evening, January, 11th, 1866. I DARESAY you have most of you heard of a little book which an old divine used constantly to study, and when his friends wondered what there was in the book, he told them that he hoped they would all know and understand it, but that there was not single word in it. When they looked at it, they found that it consisted of only three leaves; the first was black, the second was red, and the third was pure white. The old minister used to gaze upon the black leaf to remind himself of his sinful state by nature, upon the red leaf to call to his remembrance the precious blood of Christ, and upon the white leaf to picture to him the perfect righteousness which God has given to believers through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ his Son. I want you, dear friends, to read this book this evening, and I desire to read it myself. May God the Holy Spirit graciously help us to do so to our profit! I. First, LET US LOOK AT THE BLACK LEAF. There is something about this in the text, for the person who used this prayer said, "Wash me," so he was black and needed to be washed; and the blackness was of such a peculiar kind that a miracle was needed to cleanse it away, so that the one who had been black would become white, and so white that he would be "whiter than snow." If we consider David's case when he wrote this Psalm, we shall see that he was very black. He had committed the horrible sin of adultery, which is so shameful a sin that we can only allude to it with bated breath. It is a sin which involves much unhappiness to others besides the persons who commit it; and it is a sin which, although the guilty ones may repent, cannot be undone. It is altogether a most foul and outrageous crime against God and man, and they who have committed it do indeed need to be washed. But David's sin was all the greater because of the circumstances.... The sermon goes on to tell about the red page and the white page- it is a presentation of the gospel! It is also a grand tool for teaching Bible passages. So many missionaries still use the presentation that many a children's Sunday school class makes little wordless books for them to use in the field by missionaries as they share of our lord. As I stated I used it to teach retarded adults to think about sin and verses pertaining to sin in the Bible, and to sort them from verses that teach of the shed blood of Jesus, the atonement for our sin, and also from the white page verses that tell of our being washed white as snow and acceptable in the sight of God. And you know, even those that could not articulate sentences were soon able to hold up or point at a proper color page when they heard a verse, after they were led to understand the meanings of the pages; Black - Red - White. They were delighted with their own accomplishment and thrilled at the message of salvation. They came to know our Lord in better manner than they had grasped before. it is a great tool. The song, well it is fun especially when I attempt singing it and leading in song- that is howl in more ways than one. Very very humbling, I share that I lost all sense of self-pride in the joy the class got out of it.And they would either try to sing or pick up or pick out a color as we sang. The wordless book song. Spurgeon wrote of three colors the heart of salvation message, CEF added Yellow or Gold, and later Green was added mostly as a way to cover further the rewards and glory of salvation. But Spurgeon, his message went right to the heart of the need the way and the result of salvation. seethe history of EF See Spurgeon , ask your own local Sunday school class director or most any missionary about it. I think they will have had some experience or awareness. Why even I bumbled into it. It has served me well in my own learning attempts.

  49. As for myself I first came across it at a classroom for retarded adults ( Yes I know today it is mentally disabled) I still prefer retarded for that simply reminds me to go slower is all. The retarded can understand, learn, appreciate, and come to love greater knowledge of their creator. I don't know if somone disabled mentally has capacity to do that. Anyway, they were doing some crafts, making bracelets based on the colors of the wordless book for use by missionaries in CEF. They were having great fun. I got to wondering about the history of the worldess book, read Spurgeon's sermon to his entire congregation on it. I thought wow a great way to train my own mind to seek out and sort passages into three categories and then memorize them by category. Next thing I knew there was a hole in the schedule of adults needed to teach the class- oh oh! And it hit me, The wordless Book, then I found the wordless book song, and learned to kind of warble that. And the fall session was off and running I was teacher, oh my-. The class was great fun. The retarded adults would raise their choice of color page after hearing a verse, and I could then see if they were understanding what was being shared with them. The scope expanded as we went on. It was a great fall session for me and I hope for the class too. May anyone that is led to do so find the wordless book to be an expanding tool for sharing of the word of God and the Gospel of Jesus. Amen. Spurgeon found it good for his whole congregation, many a child evangelist has used it for kids, I found it great for retarded adults, it is not just for little kids.
