  2. For animal lovers, I posted a few brief videos on animals rescued in our wildfires. They are in the General Video section. One amazing video I posted is of a horse that sought refuge in a swimming pool in the town of Paradise, CA. The town was totally burned down. The horse survived amazingly. He was found by a man who returned to the demolished neighborhood.

  5. Whether single or not, I think prayer and serving Him are not really negotiable for His children. I would say, perhaps for some, the reason they are not married is because they are not really ready for a relationship with someone, or at least a successful one. First have a successful relationship with the Lord, which is not possible without prayer or dedication to Him. If we cannot get that much right, then is it fair to say that God is doing us a favor by not bringing someone else into our lives?

  7. If we could see what God see's what would we see? Imagine you see a large valley from a high mountain side and you and Jesus were standing there looking down. You see a river that flows through the valley. There were There were great fields on both sides and the river fed both sides. The one side was protestant and the other side was called Catholic. The valley was called The valley of confusion, and the River that fed the valley was called the river of Confusion The protestant side was cut up into many fields and each field named themselves and worshiped God according to there own beliefs and doctrines. Those of the individual fields couldn't see very far from their own field so they did not give much thought about what was of the other fields they were only concerned about their field. The Catholic side assumed they were the real Church and by using time tried bringing The protestants Back to their side. Now we must remember that both sides were fed by the same river called confusion. being in the valley no one could see the confusion. If one wanted to see The church from where Jesus saw it you would have to leave the valley and climb up to where Jesus was then you could see what God see,s Remember at Pentecost only one field was planted. They all learned the same doctrines of the apostles. no matter where a church was started it was counted as the same church There was not Catholic or protestant. The word Catholic was just a fluke expression used in a letter that somehow caught on. The same thing with the word Christion which was used to identify those who had received Christ at Antioch. We have the doctrines of the apostles in our bibles. we should not be tossed about by every wind of doctrines that comes down the road. The non Trinitarians Pentecostals is an example. Jim Jones. Waco Texas. Many Traditional denominations give them selves names that set themselves apart from other churches have peculiar doctrines that twist scripture. All we see today in our modern world churches came from the reformation 1500 AD. This leaves us to the question, How will the Lord who sees all choose his bride. There are no denominations in Gods kingdom. Have you looked at you own walk lately. His bride hhas made herself ready and gowns were given clean and white. the time has come for the great super. The marriage super of the Lamb. No ye not the ye are The Temple and that the spirit of God is in you. God bless

Calling me a lair and incoherent without even knowing what I actually believe causes me not to take you seriously. To avoid further abuse I am going to ignore you now. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be always in your heart.

  15. In Genesis 1-2, there is not just one but two stories of the creation of humanity, and those stories do not quite agree with each other. That alone ought to be reason enough to argue that the literal interpretation of every verse, in isolation from the rest of the Bible, can’t really be correct. Otherwise, the Bible is contradicting itself.

The term "they" clearly demonstrating a lack of understanding of the complexity of the issue at hand and fails to see the great diversity of perspectives that unite under the umbrella of faith, repentance and hope in Jesus Christ. The current ultra-literal interpretations that lead to young earth creationism are not required by the text and has no impact or relevance to our Christian practices.

  17. The satanic resurrection that God will allow satan to perform in the spirit of anti-Christ is a fulfillment linked to the Savior's pronouncement of one " coming in his own name " . Jesus claimed the power of His Father in His resurrection , and was REJECTED . Satan in the flesh will proclaim his own power for the satanic resurection and will be ACCEPTED by the world .

  18. Where are those unconfessed sins? They are with all the other sins of the world that Jesus took away. They were nailed to a Cross 2000 years ago.Jesus was “ the sufficient payment for sin” . Every sin ever to be committed. A “ one time sacrifice”. We are not saved by the timely and opportune repentance that you mention. That is what I call “ lucky repentance”. The Blood Sacrifice is not adequate alone to save. We have to believe the Gospel AND keep out repentance ledgers up to date or we are damned.Pity the man that cursed after a car wreck and did not have time to repent before he died. If that man believed that Jesus died for his sins and the Shed Blood was the ONLY hope for his salvation , his sins were covered at his death. Nothing but the Blood. Those That do not get a lucky repentance are safe if they believe the Gospel plus nothing saves. The one who is actually in danger is the man who does not really believe that Jesus died for his sins. When one believes that Jesus saves, BUT you gotta repent to “ stay” saved have added to the Gospel and the death of Christ has no effect. They have fallen from Grace and according to Paul are accursed. As a saved Believer, I repent every day to restore fellowship with God . I am already forgiven .I am forgiven because I repented ( changed my mind) from unbelief in Jesus and Him only for Salvation to believing that Faith in the Shed Blood Of Jesus was the ONLY thing that can save me.Check out the lyrics to the old song “ Nothing But The Blood”—- it contains everything one needs to know about Salvation.Nothing about a “ timely, fortunate repentance”to be found in it.Faith plus nothing for Salvation. Its a free gift to those that do not work for it. 22. Hello Dennis, I really enjoyed your story of the man on the Titanic, and understand better where you are coming from. I also have some concern as to being ready when called home. I think I have a weird and different understanding about confessing sin. God says to confess my sin. I do not remember anywhere the scripture says to ask forgiveness, or to say your sorry. Though I often whisper for God to be merciful to me, a sinner. Could be I simply have not came across the scripture, or remember it. To ask forgiveness seems to me like doubting what Jesus has already done, on the cross. And I cannot force emotions, or try to con God by saying I'm sorry, when he says 'who can know their heart' and the heart is despicably wicked, and I know my flesh is not sorry, only my grieving spirit. I mostly feel foolish/shamed for not hitting His mark, after so many lessons taught by my caring faithful Father. But the scripture does say to confess them, agree with our creator, that I need to have a better aim, and practice more, and learn the the more better way to raise my "marksmanship," and hit, not keep missing, His mark. "Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not.............miss.............................. I have passed the three score and ten age promised, and am doing my weak-best to be prepared. I believe most of us, or myself anyway, fear when entering God's presence, and will shamefully think "if I had only known", What I could have done. And what He has done, anyway, for me.

Not something I was all that comfortable talking with someone about since I was (and still am) single. I've heard the same thing the pastor has too. I guess that should be filed under, "Be careful what you ask for." - because you might get it! ?

They want to make it so the parents no longer have control of your own children, but your children belongs to the province. And it is your children that can dictate, and decide what gender that they want to be; And if a parent does not sign an agreement that states you agree with what the government and schools teach your children then they can, and will take your children away. A childs personal religion no longer matters....!

  39. You need to learn your verses, the fun way I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalms 119:11 ESV Get some verses into your heart after you have got them into your mind by learning them, then you will sin less and therefore feel good instead of horrid. Learning verses sounds boring I know, but there are ways that are fun. In this post I have mentioned a smartphone app. Forum members, please suggest other fun ways for people that do not have such techology e.g. have a Word off challenge with your friend at home; have a competition to see who can remember the most verses with their references. Get the "Remember Me" verse learning app on your smartphone. - Different styles of learning on the app e.g. it covers up words on the verse so that you have to guess and thus learn. Bit like a game and there are other fun ways too. - Use a bible version you enjoy so you will keep on with it. - Don't use the preloaded compilations of verses, find verses that are suited specificly to you. Remember the bible context of the verse though please. - Get Psalm verses that give you faith and then get Proverb verses so that you can receive Proverbs wisdom by faith. Knowing the Word well is vital so please relax and try your best to do it. Salmon, oops uh, Shalom ?

  42. . MARK.3:28-30 (NKJV) = The Unpardonable Sin 28 “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”— 30 because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” . In the proper context, the unpardonable sin only applied to the Pharisees who had falsely accused the Person, Jesus Christ, of having an unclean spirit when He was performing miracles, signs and wonders by having the power of the Holy Spirit of God in Him. It does not apply to people today since Jesus Christ is no longer physically present on earth performing miracles, signs and wonders. Do the "Woes to the Scribes and Pharisees" of MATTHEW.23 also apply to people today.? If murderers like David and Paul could be saved from hell by Jesus Christ through repentance and faith, I don't see why someone who has sold his/her soul to Satan cannot be saved from hell by Jesus Christ if God so wills it. IOW, no one today is unsaveable, but this will no longer apply at the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ to earth.

  43. All of our sins have been paid for. And the eternal penalty. Not by us, nor our confessing them. By our Savior. There is not one believer in existence who perfectly confesses every single sin he/she ever committed. The RCC believes a venial sin (like a misdemeanor) can be paid for in purgatory through suffering, or you can get out of jail sooner if someone pays a priest to say a mass. However, a mortal sin (felony) cannot be forgiven after death, so straight to jail (hell). Not sure if last rites can supersede that, though. This is NOT scriptural. I confess all day long saying "that was/is/can be sin" whenever I have found myself to have missed the mark that my conscience sees. I simply agree with God. (confess) I agree, and I need to raise my level of 'righteousness', of doing the right thing. It is not always about having done something wrong spelled out in scripture. More often, I mention to myself/God, I could have done better. Not get by with the bare minimum, but trying to "repay a debt, above and beyond the amount due". NOT about works for debt for salvation!!!! But because, as sorry a sinner that I am, I just want to do better. To try to not only not miss the mark, but try to get a bullseye. God has a purpose for us agreeing with Him concerning not hitting His mark. When I confess/agree I have missed His mark, His standard, I'm recording, remembering, I'm programming my brain (hard drive) with new data, truth, and agreeing the old (false)data is that, false. The more I record/program truth, the more times I end up saying/confessing/agreeing to God, "that would have been sin, and not that was sin". It works. For me.

  44. Yes I believe in miracles, the Bible is full of them. I've even had things happen to me that might be called a minor miracle. Here are a few. For 10 yrs I was a Taxi driver and 1 company I worked for insisted we come in even if we were too sleepy. I had to go in and work it was the only way to pay the rent. I fell asleep while driving many times but something happened to always wake me up, even if it was in the nick of time. I knew God was watching over me. Of course I was working and I had no choice. I also had a minor miracle happen 47 yrs ago in Florida. I went Scuba diving with my cousin and a friend we met down there. On this particular day the ocean was too rough for our little boat. I said no, we shouldn't go but the other 2 insisted so we went. We were about 2 miles out and we dove on a sunken yacht. We were fighting all the way out there and none of us made sure the boat was securely anchored. The ocean was so rough that day that nearly any other boats were out there. When we surfaced from the dive our boat was gone. There we were, 2 miles out in 6 ft seas with the tide going out and no other boats we could see. We started swimming towards shore but even after 1 hour we made little to no headway. We were all scared, in Florida a hungry shark is always a real possibility. Most likely we would have drowned. But after another hour a 42 ft boat who was out even further was coming in. One man was on their flying bridge and from up there he saw something shine. They were far away. The sunlight hit the chrome on 1 of our tanks and they saw it. So they cam to rescue us. We lived and I'm still here. I consider that a minor miracle.
