  1. Ephesians 6:10-18 King James Version (KJV) 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

  2. One of my favorite passages. I like to ponder what this means from time to time to remind myself that our war is not with the people, but with the forces behind their ways.

  3. Hi, so sorry to hear of your loss, ...I have lost all of my family, my parents and grandparents died over 40 years ago and also the only woman I have ever given my heart to, so I know and understand your grief of losing someone you love, ...some time ago the Lord showed me that since man is made in the image of God and God is Love, the love we have for someone is eternal, it will never die, since man was created to live forever God didn't give him a folder to classify grief in so that we can put it on a shelf somewhere and leave it behind, for that reason man will try to stop loving the person because they are no longer present to stop the knots in their stomach and the pain and grief in their heart, ...that's not the answer, we will always love them, the only thing that has ended is our current relationship with them, that is what we must let go of, it IS possible to go on with life and still love the ones we have lost, ...if they are IN Christ then Paul tells us we have a Hope that will not disappoint, there will be a reunion in the not so distant future! Beloved, Hebrews 2:15 tells us we have been delivered from the bondage of death, ...the enemy tries to scare us with his roaring, but we don't have to listen to him, ...rest assured, Scripture tells us Ps 116:15, Heb 13:15, when and if you have to walk through the valley of the shadow of death your loving merciful Lord Jesus will supply you with His Grace to bring you joyfully through that door (that's all it is, ...just a door and we know what is waiting for us on the other side). I once heard a Bible Teacher explain it this way to his children, "Children, we are driving on a two lane road, in the distance we see a large truck and trailer speeding straight towards us, the closer it is the more it looks like it will hit us, but when it finally passes us in the other lane the only thing that touched us was it's shadow and we'll continue on on our journey safe and sound." Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. May the Lord bless you and comfort you during this time of sorrow and may His Peace that goes far beyond any human understanding or comprehension give rest and sleep to your grieving soul, ...Abba, Father, I know you have overheard this conversation, please hold your child in your loving arms. Amen

  4. @Melinda12 Thank you for this uplifting thread! I love the hymns so it is a blessing to see them as a topic here. I agree with my brethren that they hold wonderful theological truths. For example: In the following hymn "My hope is built on nothing less"- In verse 1 is Salvation: "Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him." (Romans 5:9) In verse 4 The Return of Christ: "It will happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed."(1 Corinthians 15:52) 1 My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand. 2 When darkness veils His lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace; in ev'ry high and stormy gale my anchor holds within the veil. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; 3 His oath, His covenant, His blood support me in the 'whelming flood; when all around my soul gives way He then is all my hope and stay. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand. 4 When He shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in Him be found, dressed in His righteousness alone, faultless to stand before the throne. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand.

  5. Romans 16:17-18 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

  7. So I guess a few days ago this young man I grew up knowing and cared about deeply he felt like family died. The family started letting people know the night before and yesterday. It was very devastating news I really don't even know any more details other then he died. I guess you just never know I want to think that I am ready when I go to meet God. I know your not suppose to fear death but sometimes the thought does cross my mind when will it be my time. He was only like 34 years old he left behind a wife and son and many family and friends who are broken-hearted. So my sister moved away and lives 2 hours away and had to work Thanksgiving last year and this year so we started something new where we go to golden corral and do take out the day of Thanksgiving and then do our big traditional meal the day she can come. So yesterday we went but it was packed out the door and the line was not moving so we decided to go home and cook. Everyone got in the kitchen and we worked together to bring it all together. Yes, I received some very bad news but Thanksgiving by far is my favorite holiday I have so many things to grateful and Thankful for. No, this coming week will not be easy going to this funeral and all. But I still have God and He loves me I am going to make the best of this holiday season come what may. I feel that is what Caleb would want me to do. He was such a kind generous young man I loved him dearly he will be dearly missed.

  9. Yes, Melinda12 - my husband and I rejoice whenever we hear, sing along to, join in with, meditate on the words of the wonderful hymns we have at our disposal to sing anywhere, anytime. We love hymns more than any other song, as they evoke a deep sense of the presence of the Lord and tears roll down as we remember the price He paid for us at Calvary and how we want to remember and talk with Him every day... these songs given to saints by the Lord are definitely special.

  11. @Pencil24 Thank you for sharing this with us. I am sorry for the loss of your friend Caleb. I will be praying for you and his family. It is so hard to lose a loved one. Around a holiday...harder still. But you have inspired others by showing this can be done. One of my favorite scriptures is Phil 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God bless you.

  13. Hi RH, 1Thes 4:17 is definitely the Rapture/Resurrection. No doubt about it. But it doesn't give us the timing. Not pretrib, midtrib, postrib, or prewrath. But there are a few scriptures that DO give us the timing. God does not appoint us to WRATH.....1 Thes 5:9....For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" “ For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand”…Rev 6:17 This verse states that on a specific “great day”, the wrath of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit will begin. Let’s pick it up in Rev 6:12-17: 12 I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.14 The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the [a]commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; 16 and they *said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the [b]presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Look at what it doesn’t say…..It doesn’t say that their wrath had already commenced. It does say that the GREAT DAY OF THEIR WRATH HAS COME Also, they were hiding in the caves and amongst the rocks and asking them to “Fall on us and Hide us” from the Face of Him who sits on the throne. No one asks to be hidden under rocks from something that started years earlier. This is a nonsense statement that no one would make. People only ask to be hidden from what they perceive to be a present danger and at its inception. The Wrath of God begins AFTER Jesus opens the sixth seal. This is indisputable based on Scripture! 2) EYE WITNESSES:…… 1) The inhabitants of the earth in Rev 6:17 testify as to the timing of the initiation of the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord’s Wrath, as shown above. 2) The martyrs under the altar……Rev 6:10 “ They cried out with a loud voice saying “ How long O Lord holy and true, will you refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth” This right here precludes all five of the first seals from being God’s Wrath. 3) Joel 2:31…” The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood BEFORE the great and awesome day of the Lord comes” Matt 24:29…..” But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 4) Matt 24:31….. “ And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other”

  14. It's my first ever Thanksgiving without my mom. Praise God-she is still alive. But a brain injury prevents us from even talking on the phone. I can't drive to her. So I will love her from afar. Missing her bunches- but choosing to rejoice in Jesus on this day which should be about being thankful. I have very little family left. But I'm thinking how rough it must be to have nobody alive or in a not speaking to each other /dysfunctional family. Worst case scenario- being without loved ones and not having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are in those situations, this poem is for you: Remember The Lonely (A Thanksgiving Day Poem) Holidays are often a family affair A time of food and gatherings In which we love and share But sadly, there are people Who have no loved ones there Feeling down and lonely, They need someone to care So let us all remember To keep these folks in prayer. Let us pray they will come to see God loves them... For those who have the Lord in their lives are never truly alone.

  16. @SelahSong From your pictures (which I don't know how to enlarge on my computer), I notice there is a page of writing next to the hymn's lyrics. Does that tell the background of how the hymn came to be written? Or is it of true stories of people touched by the hymn?

  26. Shabbat shalom, Uriah. I didn't say that it was a fact that we might be the angels of the resurrection/rapture; I just said it was a theory. Real, supernatural messengers ("angels") could be involved, as well. HOWEVER, we are NOT "His bride." That's a myth that was started around Ephesians 5 that has no real basis in fact. Let's read it carefully: Before starting, let's look up a common word in the English that is FREQUENTLY misunderstood and abused: "church." 1577 ekkleesia (ek-klay-see'-ah). From a compound of ek and a derivative of kaleoo; a calling out, i.e. (concretely) a popular meeting, especially a religious congregation (Jewish synagogue, or Christian community of members on earth or saints in heaven or both) -- assembly, church. 1537 ek or ex (ek). A primary preposition denoting origin (the point whence action or motion proceeds), from, out (of place, time, or cause; literal or figurative; direct or remote) -- after, among, X are, at, betwixt(-yond), by (the means of), exceedingly, (+ abundantly above), for(- th), from (among, forth, up), + grudgingly, + heartily, X heavenly, X hereby, + very highly, in,...ly, (because, by reason) of, off (from), on, out among (from, of), over, since, X thenceforth, through, X unto, X vehemently, with(-out). Often used in composition, with the same general import; often of completion. 2564 kaleoo (kal-eh'-o). Akin to the base of keleuoo; to "call" (properly, aloud, but used in a variety of applications, directly or otherwise) -- bid, call (forth), (whose, whose sur-)name (was (called)). 2753 keleuoo (kel-yoo'-o). From a primary kelloo (to urge on); "hail"; to incite by word, i.e. Order -- bid, (at, give) command(-ment). On the other hand, the word "church" has a different origin, also from the Greek: church | CHərCH | noun a building used for public Christian worship: they came to church with me. (Church) a particular Christian organization, typically one with its own clergy, buildings, and distinctive doctrines: the Church of England. (the Church) the hierarchy of clergy of a Christian organization, especially the Roman Catholic Church or the Church of England. institutionalized religion as a political or social force: the separation of church and state. verb [with object] archaic take (a woman who has recently given birth) to church for a service of thanksgiving. ORIGIN Old English cir(i)ce, cyr(i)ce, related to Dutch kerk and German Kirche, based on medieval Greek kurikon, from Greek kuriakon (dōma) ‘Lord's (house)’, from kurios ‘master or lord’. Compare with kirk. Technically, the word in the Greek of the text of Ephesians 5 means "a called-out" group or gathering. The word "kuriakon" was added later to specify WHICH group or gathering, i.e. that "of the Lord," and ended up replacing the original word altogether. Now, we read "church" instead. There are two other locations in Scripture that do NOT refer to what most think of when they say the word "church": Acts 7:37-38 (KJV) 37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear. 38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us: This speaks of the congregation of the children of Israel when they were at the foot of Mount Sinai, and... Acts 19:21-41 (KJV) 21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, "After I have been there, I must also see Rome." 22 So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timotheus and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season. 23 And the same time there arose no small stir about that way. 24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen; 25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, "Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth. 26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands: 27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth." 28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, "Great is Diana of the Ephesians!" 29 And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre. 30 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not. 31 And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre. 32 Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly (Greek: ekkleesia) was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together. 33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people. 34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, "Great is Diana of the Ephesians!" 35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, "Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter? 36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly. 37 For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches (Greek: hierosulous = "temple-plunderers"), nor yet blasphemers of your goddess. 38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another. 39 But if ye inquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly (Greek: ekkleesia). 40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day's uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse." 41 And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly. In this passage, we are seeing that the word was used for a public gathering of the city's population, both as an unlawful riot and as a lawful assembly. Furthermore, we learn that the word is a COLLECTIVE NOUN, like the words "flock" of sheep, "herd" of cattle, or "school" of fish. Therefore, CONTEXT determines how a word is to be used. Now, let's look at Ephesians 5: Ephesians 5:22-33 (KJV) 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church ("called-out" group): and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church ("called-out" group) is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church ("called-out" group), and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church ("called-out" group), not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church ("called-out" group): 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery (secret): but I speak concerning Christ and the church ("called-out" group). 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. This passage is saying that this "called-out" group is a group of TWO, the married couple who become ONE FLESH! The Messiah didn't give Himself for a nebulous entity called a "church"; He gave Himself for PEOPLE, for INDIVIDUALS! Furthermore, nowhere in this passage is this "church" called the "bride of Christ." The word "bride" IS used in Scripture, but it's found as a metaphor and as a simile, both in the book of Revelation: Revelation 21:2 (KJV) 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Using the word "as" makes this a simile, and this verse says that the NEW JERUSALEM is LIKE a bride all dressed up in her wedding gown for her husband! Revelation 21:9-10 (KJV) 9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, "Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife." 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,... In this particular case, the NEW JERUSALEM is said actually to BE "the bride, the Lamb's wife." It does NOT say that the people within the city are the "bride"; it says the CITY is the "bride!" In this case it is a metaphor! The NEW JERUSALEM IS the Bride of the Messiah!

Jesus' birthday candles Matthew 25:31 – 46 Cough, Cough, goes the girl sneeze, wheeze, goes the boy Stay away, they may be sick Go away, your no joy One candle is gone it has lost it's flick Because of our fear we stayed away from the sick Those people got what they deserved I'm now at peace, I am so glad For in jail they can rot 'Cause what they did made me so mad Candle number 2 flickered, then went out Because of the wind, and it's gail We were to happy, we were to glad Instead of bringing God's love to those in jail “I'm hungry, Do you have some food?” With longing in his eyes, his arm stretched out “I'm in a hurry, I'm late for church” “No time to stop, or to give him a handout” Candle number 3 is no longer burning, In keeping it lit, we did not succeed We were in a hurry, had no time to stop, Even the hungry, we failed to feed With parched lips, and a dry tongue, She asked for something to drink “I'm to busy” was the reply “You have two legs, find the sink” The fourth candle just died Because we did not think We were just to busy To give a simple little drink Yum, this Christmas meal sure is good I know that the neighbour is alone this day But Christmas is for family Everyone else can stay away Candle five just lost it's flame This flaming fire, had been blown 'Cause of our selfishness Christ's love was not shown They come to you, clothing ripped from off the street, there in your face You push them away, for they stink You run away, 'cause there in your space The last candle burns no more Yes, all the candles are out We didn't help those in need What Christmas is all about When we bring Jesus His birthday cake Will it be lit up, and bright Or when He looks down at His cake Will it be dark, the absence of light This Christmas, help those in need And light those candles with your good deed.

  35. This isn't about submission. It's about a terrible punishment. Submission, in the New Testament, isn't presented as a punishment. I read the ESV. I think it's a good translation. Genesis 3:16 = To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.” This passage is about severe pain in having babies and Adam dominating her. Having someone "rule over you" is not a blessing. It's a curse and a punishment. Just as Adam was cursed, Eve was cursed. And their punishment trickle down to the rest of us in various ways. In the rest of the Bible, the real and true relationship between a husband and wife is: A husband loving her as if she means something to him that is of great worth, treating her as a covenant companion, never being harsh with her, defending her even if it means death, treating her as a co-heir, esteeming her as he esteems himself [that's hard], trusting her and praising her. [1 Peter 3; Colossians 3; Malachi 2; Ephesians 5; Proverbs 31] A wife trusting, revering, and respecting her husband just in same manner that she would the Lord; being a hard worker in managing the home and family and in any other endeavor the Lord leads her; being a help meet to him - that is literally in the Hebrew a "help" as God was a "help" to David [same Hebrew word which means a relief] and a "meet" to him - meaning her role, though "opposite" from his makes his role easier to bear and more fruitful. [Genesis 2; Proverbs 31; 1 Peter 3; Ephesians 5] A Godly husband is a blessing to a woman. Yet, in this imperfect world brought about by sin - wives will have conflict from time to time with their husbands and have pain in bearing children.

That we will be cast out of families cast out even of society , And their is no man that has left mother , father , for the kingdom of God that shall not have manifold more brothers , sisters , and yes lands with persecutions . BUT their is no JOY , like the HOPE of having been saved by grace and the hope of the grace that awaits us all ON HIS DAY . Turtle two , dear sister , you aint alone . And even though we miles apart , as you eat your meal I rejoice with you n Spirit sister and you rejoice with me as I eat my meal too. Sister we HAVE CHRIST and we are the family now . All who love the LORD in Spirit and truth , in Sincerity are the family . That is right , sister , FOR THOSE who have the LORD n their lives are never truly alone . 37. And the snorting of dans horses . Dan represents judgment . Their is a nugget of prophesy when Issac prays and prophesies in gen fifty about the tribes . And may each look real close at judas prophesy . And as we read it in genesis fifty , let us remember WHO SPRANG from the tribe of juda . And the scepter shall not depart from JUDA till SHILOH come , and juda shall tread something . look real closely and we see its the wrinepress, JESUS will tread on HIS DAY . Their is just nuggets in the word of God . prophesies , some thousands of years old . YET one hundred percent accurate . and some prophey is yet to come . For JESUS has not yet tread the winepress of GOD . But look at how perfect and accurate the BIBLE TRULY IS . I mean even nigh two thousand years ago , LOOK at pin point accuracy in revelations . a mark will be given , and no man able to buy or sell , lest he has it . A book that gathers dust or has been rejected by many , YET HOLDS ABSOLUTE TRUTH . LOOK at our tech today . YET TWO thousand years ago , was this not FORETOLD with stunning accuracy . OF course its accurate , LOOK WHO SAID IT and HIS WORDS are absolute truth .

  39. You too ? Not an awful long time ago from the pulpit during a church sermon, our former Pastor relayed a story about a hymn and tied it into his message. Until that time I never paid attention or looked at the top of the hymnal song to see whom wrote it. Since then, when we're directed to turn to a certain page in out hymnals to sing, I always glance up and look at who wrote it. Sometimes I'm surprised to see who wrote it. I've been meaning to purchase a hymnal or borrow one from our church and go through it and research some of the history and lives of those who wrote it and how the hymn came about. I believe I've only done one so far, "It is Well", by Horacio Spafford, 1873. That's an interesting story! By no means am I criticizing or condemning it; it's most likely my age and upbringing, but I don't care for this modern Christian music during Sunday worship services, with very loud volume with drum beats, etc. I've often wondered what worship music and instruments the Lord prefers to hear? I have an inkling the answer is found in the Psalms? I love many of the traditional hymns, some of them bring tears to my eyes singing them, such as "It is well".

  40. Well i will go with the what the Holy Bible says each and every time.. Jesus in the Book of Revelation revealed that He was the Alpha and Omega..The First and the last.. The Almighty.. All the relevant information provided in the passage below. Revelation 1: KJV "8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. {9} I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. {10} I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, {11} Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. {12} And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; {13} And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. {14} His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; {15} And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. {16} And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. {17} And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: {18} I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."

  41. God bless you! I'm praying for you! Is there a local church you can reach out to? You didn't mention trying to get help from fellow believers. It's in times like these that the Lord commands us to help our fellow Christians when they are at the end of themselves and their own abilities!
