  1. We raise a child up in they way he or she should go . I can offer frienduffs health class One o One if we need those reminders . Its real simple . GOD made you as you are . If you born with male parts you grow up to become a man . If you born with female parts you grow up to be a woman . When you are grown a man marries a woman or remains single according to his call. Same with a woman , she marries a man or remains single according to her call . Now how simple is that . Oh and no fornication . Marriage only . For purpose of marriage please refer to the above said statement of frienduffs BC health class . Biblically correct health class. IN the end we stand before GOD , not men , not govts , not trends . GOD . Thus let it be said , it is written we shall not live by bread alone , but by every Word of GOD . By the power of HIS SPIRIT given us IN CHRIST . Know and understand this message will not be politcallly accepted . BUT IT IS BIBLCALLY CORRECT . And we KNOW OUR LORD .

    Chrisitians, or slaves?

Something to consider. I think we're missing something important when we frame *anything* up as "blacks do (did) this...." "Whites do (did) that...". There is ONE place where race distinctions truly get wiped out and we're standing in it. It's at the foot of the cross, where red is the only color that matters and was shed for all colors, UNDENIABLY granting equal value to every race and nationality. People do (did) this or that because they're wittingly or not following the wrong god and in need of the Saviour. Not because of their color or ethnic group.

Bible Verses (taking turns posting a verse from a Bible book)

Do not kiss nor bow down to korans and blow smoke through indian pipes nor bow to budda statues in the name of world peace . Do not claim they are serving the SAME TRUE GOD . For these are idols created by men , creations of darkness. Therefore you shall not be as the other nations and other religions and bow nor kiss their books . Nor shall you have unity with any who does teach the people to err . You shall touch not the unclean thing , FOR ye are called Out of the bondage that these images and all who hold to them . You are to be HOLY for GOD IS HOLY . Build no alter , neither physical nor spiritual and exalt or place these false gods anywhere near thee . THEY ARE A CURSE unto the nations and an abomination to the LORD your GOD . having eyes they see not , having ears they hear not , as those who worship them have eyes but see not ears but hear not . FLEE the spirit behind BAALIM , who had his women seduce the people into fornication with other gods . THIS is that spirit that is now at work to seduce the people to build bridges and find common ground and acceptance with other gods . JESUS ALONE is the ONLY WAY and let no man build in this false tower of many diverse stones that many do build trying to reach heaven . IT will never reach heaven . FOR their is but ONE WAY unto the FATHER and HIS NAME IS CHRIST JESUS . all else is sinking sand , thus flee any unity with any who promote this .

  6. Shalom That's only part of the problem. The sad truth is that you would be blasted across the news and social media and even risk losing your child if you tried to encourage them to stay true to there God-given body. In some matters, the world dictates the way to raise your child and you will be quickly vilified if you disagree. Christians were once seen as the moral anchor in the west, always there in times of trouble. Now, we're seen as out-of-touch, old fashioned and bigoted. Lord come back soon and save us from this madness and our children from this confusion! My heart goes out to all parents in this situation. And as for those parents who encourage it, what if your grandmother advised your father to do the same thing as a child? Would you happily forfeit your life so that your father could have grown up more comfortable with his sexuality?

Why Our Evangelism Efforts are Failing....

Hi Wayne Thank you, yes I am getting better. Now I hear what you say, but I was NOT referring to the people who of course go to public meetings. I was talking about the system we have developed over the past few centuries that has become the ONLY recognised church. Jesus did not set up the systems we have in place, He called out people to be His Body. Yes there are meetings that have the communion, speaking truth and good fellowship, however the organisation behind that coming together is not the church but an organisation that runs meetings. And because that type of organisation has been around for a while, people think that that is the church, whereas you and I know that `we` are the church, the ekklesia of God, the called out ones. People think they know the difference, but if you don`t go to a public meeting then they think you are backslidden, not supporting God`s work, not fellowshipping with others etc etc. It is subtle but this mind set has caused much pain for if that type of meeting is the real church then I need to obey everything the leader/s say. Very dangerous. Finally, yes there are good meetings, but still behind the scenes is man`s organisation. Two different things, one the church, (the people) & the other, man`s way of bringing people together publically. regards, Marilyn.
  9. And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death. And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death. And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed: If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed. Exodus 21:16-19
  10. He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death. And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee. But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die. And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death. Exodus 21:12-15

    Ghost town

I am praying for you and your beautiful family. I prayed for you four times today. I will keep praying. I am with you in spirit. I wish I could help you get to a safe good place. Jesus has great love for you and your wife and child. I pray he protects you and helps your ills. Stay wise and be careful. The lord will lead you. We have not forgot you.
  12. I will tell you about how I have come to the knowledge of Christ and how my life has changed drastically since then. My life before Jesus: I was a person very tormented mentally, my mind rarely was in peace and was constantly oppressed by evil spirits. They would try to convince me of doing terrible things not only to me, but to others lives as well. I did not do many of those things, but I have done others, and how I regret of doing them. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." - Romans 3:23 I had many moments of anger and I could not control them sometimes, which led me to do insane things. "A man of great wrath will suffer punishment; For if you rescue him, you will have to do it again." - Proverbs 19:19 But it never brought me too much problem, but ideas of doing evil was almost always in my mind. And in those moments of anger, it was the best opportunity for them to be fulfilled. I was suffering a lot. And as anyone who do not know Christ, my life was full of bad and sinful habits. And while in a moment alone, and I was alone most of the time, I was thinking about my life, and how it is not right. Then I came to the conclusion: I need to repent, indeed. I always had Jesus in my mouth, but the reality is that He was far from my heart. And while hearing a music, it made me think: Am I following Him?! Really, am I following Him?! Then I realized: No, I am not following Him. I know His name, but I barely know who He really is. Then I realized: I have to know more about Him. All this happened about one year ago after being baptized in a near local church. After I was baptized, I remember I was thinking: I will have to change my life. "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come..." - John 16:21 But the reality was: I do not have the power to change my life. This is the truth. "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find." - Romans 7:18 Then how will I do it?! I cannot do it, I am powerless. "For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin." - Romans 7:14 Yes, the reality is that I could not do it. Then I decided to resume my life. Then after some time, after suffering a lot because of my own sins, I decided to think about it. Then I thought: I need to repent, indeed. My life is not right, and I am suffering. I remember before that, while admiring sin I thought: I will live this way until I die. But I knew it was not right, then something made me decide: I have to know Jesus more. I never actually read the Bible or seek to know Him. Then I decided to seek, and I started seeking... When reading something on a website, I saw something inviting me to accept Jesus and be saved. And I did it, I did it. It was like something was attracting me to it, I was like desperate: Save me, save me! But I was not yet feeling saved. And I remember that when I was younger, today I am 27, I used to call upon the name of the Lord. I would use a verse and ask Him to save me, this is one of the verses I used: "And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." - Psalm 139:24 But I was not yet feeling saved. It was like I needed to seek more. "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:13 Then I decided to start reading the Bible, for real, Jesus may be there somewhere. I know He is, but where?! Then I was convinced to start reading from the New Testament, from the first book: Matthew. I remember I was reading on my computer, and I started reading daily. I liked reading, Jesus is awesome... I loved Him and His words, He was like someone I always waited for. "...If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." - John 14:23 "...the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word." - Acts 10:44 And when it was somewhere in December 2016, that while I was reading, I understood one thing: I need to repent as soon as possible. "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come..." - John 16:21 Then, as far as I can remember, I started praying asking for forgiveness and salvation. "...the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’" - Luke 18:13 "if that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them." - Jeremiah 18:8 "For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all." - Romans 11:32 "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost..." - Titus 3:5 Then I thought: How could I have been like this for so much time. He was not happy with me. And I decided: My life cannot be the same anymore. "...If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." - Matthew 16:24 "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." - Matthew 16:25 "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come..." - John 16:21 My life after Jesus: Then my life had to change and I knew what I had to do... And I knew one thing: I love Him. "...bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails..." - 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 "We love Him because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19 And I decided to get water baptized again, this time knowing very well. And something that caught my attention was this: The first time (YYYY-MM-DD) I was baptized was on 2015-09-12, and the second time was on 2017-12-09. Then I started reading the Word daily, and believing in what was written. I was so full of problems, I could not know where to start... But I started with the milk. "as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious." - 1 Peter 2:2-3 Then after that day, my behavior changed drastically, I wanted to love more, to improve more, because of Him. Then one day I lost patience and I had one episode of anger. Then I thought: Why did I do this?! I am sorry, Lord Jesus! Then I prayed, and ask Him for help and forgiveness. "...be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”" - 1 Peter 5:5 But this was not the biggest problem I had to repent of, I was full of bad and sinful habits, and I knew I had to forsake them. "He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." - Proverbs 28:13 But I also knew I couldn't do it on my own. "But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”" - Luke 18:27 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13 But I was in love with those sinful habits. How will I forsake them?! I had to make a choice: "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;" - Deuteronomy 30:19 And I thought, sin is evil, it is not right. And if I can indeed be free, then why not?! Sin is useless anyway. I want peace with God. "...as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance..." - 1 Peter 1:14 "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God." - 1 John 3:9 Then one day I decided to pray like: Lord Jesus, I know these evil things do not please you and I have to confess I cannot stop loving them. My wish, Lord Jesus, is that I can stop loving these things so I do not do them anymore. "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." - John 15:7 "...this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." - 1 John 5:14 "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." - Mark 11:23 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" - Matthew 7:11 "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind." - James 1:6 After that day, my life started changing, and I was learning daily. And with the help of the Lord I was feeling more free each day. What once seemed impossible, now started becoming a reality. And today I can say I have peace with God, just as it is written: "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..." - Romans 5:1 And today I can say I am free indeed, just as it is written: "...Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." - John 8:34-36 All the bad habits, all the sinful pleasures I had is completely in the past. I just have no desire for them anymore. It is a miracle; He has been purifying my heart, in truth. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth." - John 17:17 "...you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." - Romans 8:9 "...if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." - Romans 8:11 There is nothing, nothing impossible for Him. I have experienced it. And how good it is... Sin is indeed deceitful, just as it is written: "but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." - Hebrews 3:13 "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit..." - Ephesians 5:18 Today I feel saved, and I feel in peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. "He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true." - John 3:33 "...it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe." - 1 Thessalonians 2:13 And He has helped me overcome so much problems I had in my mind as well. I am living so much better. It is something that exceeds all expectations. And I can also say that I am waiting for His coming. Come, Lord Jesus! "And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." - 1 John 3:3 And you?! Are you ready?! No matter what you have done, just believe in Him and start seeking Him today. "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men..." - Mark 3:28 "...unless you repent you will all likewise perish." - Luke 13:1 Your life will change, you will be forgiven, and you will have peace. It is a promise, from God. "in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began..." - Titus 1:2 "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." - Galatians 6:9 "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith." - 1 John 5:3-4 Thank you, Lord Jesus! Blessings to you in Jesus' name!

    Hello and introduction

Hello! I am a Christian and looking for a place to share ideas and connect with other believers. I am interested in topics such as how does the church interact with culture in an effective manner. Also, I would like to discuss ecclesiology and how does church structure affect the way we exercise our God-given gifts. I am hoping to generate some good discussion on these points and to see if others share my interest in these questions. I would also like to pray and share Christ with those in need and request prayer when needed. Let us bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. God bless you and thank you for the opportunity to participate here. Jerry806
  14. This article comes from a tract (pamphlet) that many used through the years to reach others about the evils of abortion. My friend and I went handing these out as far back as the 1980's so it is outdated as far as the statistics (even awful then. So much worse now!) But the heart of the message is still relevant. Please read this with care and prayer. CHILDREN THINGS WE THROW AWAY? By Melody Green “Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?” Micah 6:7 Abortion has become the most common surgical procedure in America. Over 99% of all U.S. abortions have nothing to do with the life or health of the woman—they are done simply because of her desire for convenience, absence of distress, and her so-called happiness. Doctors perform over 1.3 million abortions per year in the United States alone… that’s one for every two live births. Abortion has become so frequent, that population experts say that it has become, in effect, a new form of birth control. But abortion should not be confused with birth control, which prevents a new life from beginning—abortion destroys that new life once it has already begun. Of the women having them, 66% are unmarried, 20% are teenagers, and 47% are “repeat” customers. Abortion…An Easy Alternative? In this age of convenience, abortion is being presented as a “quick and easy” way to get rid of an annoying problem. When women seek advice, most professional abortion counselors just don’t tell them the truth concerning what they are about to do to their child and to themselves. First of all, abortion is a major surgical procedure which can result in serious complications—it is not as “safe” as we are led to believe. Statistics show that after a legal abortion, a woman faces increased possibilities of future miscarriages, tubal pregnancies, premature births, sterility, and severe and long-lasting emotional disturbances. I have personally received many letters from women who must face the fact that they will never be able to have children due to infections and complications from a supposedly safe abortion they have had in the past. Instead of being told this, their fears are made to seem silly—the whole procedure is whitewashed. “Why, it’s so simple, ” they say, “like removing an unsightly wart from your body. Now you’re pregnant . . .now you’re not! Just rest a day and you’ll feel fine!” When Does Life Begin? Just when does an unborn baby become a “real person”? Science tells us that when the 23 chromosomes of the sperm unite with the ovum’s 23 chromosomes, a new 46 chromosome cell is formed. When this process (fertilization) is complete, a new human being exists. This cell is a complete genetic package programmed for development into a mature adult. Nothing will be added except time and nutrition. It’s been medically proven that the baby’s heart starts beating from 14-28 days after conception (usually before the mother even knows she’s pregnant), and by the 30th day almost every organ has started to form! He moves his arms and legs by six weeks and by 43 days his brain waves can be read. By eight weeks the baby has his very own fingerprints, he can urinate, make a strong fist, and he can feel pain. Each stage of development from fertilization to old age is merely a maturing of what is entirely there at the start. Abortion Techniques The following are the most commonly known abortion techniques: Dilation and Curettage (D & C) The cervix is dilated with a series of instruments to allow the insertion of a curette, or sharp scraping instrument, into the uterus. The developing child is then cut into pieces and scraped from the uterine wall. Bleeding is usually profuse. A nurse must then reassemble the parts to make sure the uterus is empty, otherwise infection will set in. Suction Curettage (Vacuum Aspiration) The cervix is dilated as in a D & C, then a tube is inserted into the uterus and connected to a strong suction apparatus. The vacuum is so powerful that the baby is torn to bits and sucked into a jar. Dilation and Evacuation (D & E) At 12 to 20 weeks, a seaweed-based substance is inserted into the cervix causing dilation. The next day forceps with sharp metal teeth are inserted and parts of the baby’s body are torn away and removed piece by piece. At this age the head is usually too large to be removed whole, and must be crushed and drained before taken out. D & Es are promoted by abortion advocates because, unlike other second trimester methods, they insure the baby’s death. Partial Birth Abortion Performed 20 weeks and later, this procedure involves the breech delivery of the child. When all but the head is delivered, “the surgeon then forces the scissors into the base of the skull. Having safely entered the skull, he spreads the scissors to enlarge the opening. The surgeon removes the scissors and introduces a suction catheter into this hole and evacuates the skull contents.” Saline Injection Used after 16 weeks (four months) when enough fluid has accumulated. A long needle is inserted through the mother’s abdomen into the baby’s sac. Some fluid is removed and a strong salt solution is injected. The helpless baby swallows this poison and suffers severely. He kicks and jerks violently as he is literally being burned alive. It takes over an hour for the baby to die—his outer layer of skin is completely burned off. Within 24 hours, labor will usually set in and the mother will give birth to a dead baby. (Quite frequently these babies are born alive. They are usually left unattended to die. However, a few who have survived the ordeal—due to the mercy of the hospital staff—have later been adopted.) Hysterotomy or Caesarean Used mainly in the last three months of pregnancy, the womb is entered by surgery through the wall of the abdomen. The tiny baby is removed and allowed to die by neglect or sometimes killed by a direct act. Prostaglandin Chemical This form of abortion uses chemicals developed by the Upjohn Pharmaceutical Co. which cause the uterus to contract intensely, pushing out the developing baby. The contractions are so abnormally severe that babies have even been decapitated. Many, however, have also been born alive. The side effects to the mother are many—a number have even died from cardiac arrest when the compounds were injected. Hypocritic Oath? “I will give no deadly medicine to anyone if asked, nor suggest such counsel, and in like manner, I will not give to a woman a pessary to produce abortion.” This statement is part of the Hippocratic Oath which doctors have taken for centuries as a moral standard governing their work as physicians. In recent years, it has been changed to read, “I will do nothing that is illegal.” (This new oath would have been appropriate in Nazi Germany, where the doctors who helped to kill Jews were well within the limits of the law.) Dr. John Szenens, age 36, has this to say: “You have to become a bit schizophrenic. In one room you encourage the patient that the slight irregularity of the fetal heart is not important—that she is going to have a fine, healthy baby. Then in the next room you assure another woman, on whom you just did a saline abortion, that it’s good that the heart is already irregular . . .she has nothing to worry about, she is not going to have a live baby.” Dr. Szenens continues, “At the beginning we were doing abortions on smaller fetuses… and the kicking and heartbeat did not manifest itself as much. I think if I had started with 24-weekers right off the bat, I would have had a much greater conflict in my own mind if this was the same as murder or not. But since we started off slowly with 15-16 weekers, the fetus just never got consideration. Then gradually, the whole range of cases started to become larger. All of a sudden, one noticed that at the time of the saline infusion, there was a lot of activity in the uterus. It wasn’t fluid currents. It was obviously the fetus being distressed by swallowing the salt solution and kicking violently through the death trauma. You can either face it, or turn around and say it’s uterine contractions. That, however, would be repressing, since as a doctor you obviously know that it is not. Now whether you admit this to the patient is another matter. Her distress by unwanted pregnancy is to me the primary consideration, ahead of any possible consideration for the fetus. We just have to face it. Somebody has to do it. And unfortunately, we are the executioners in this instance.” Susan Lindstrom, M.S.W., age 27, puts it this way: “I am having a lot of difficulty with my feelings about late abortions—and all the pain that’s there so much of the time after the baby is moving. So one day, in a need to arrive at a measure of clarity, I went into the room where they keep the fetuses before burning them. They were next to the garbage cans in paper buckets, like the take-home chicken kind. I looked inside the bucket in front of me. There was a small naked person in there, floating in a bloody liquid. He was purple with bruises and his face had the agonized tautness of one forced to die too soon. I then took off the lids of all the buckets and with a pair of forceps lifted each fetus out by an arm or a leg—leaving, as I returned them, an additional bruise on their acid-soaked bodies. Finally, I lifted out a very large fetus and read the label—Mother’s name: C. Atkins; Doctor’s name: Saul Marcus; Sex of the item: Male; Time of gestation: 24 weeks (six months). I remembered Miss Atkins. She was 17—a very pretty blond girl. So, this was Master Atkins—to be burned tomorrow—for the sake of his mother.” A Hardening Of The Heart Then there’s the unnamed doctor who shared on a radio show that after he performed his first abortion, he became so violently ill that he thought he would die. He went through weeks of depression and thought of suicide. He said, “The first time I felt like a murderer, but I did it again and again and again, and now, 20 years later, I am facing what happened to me as a doctor and as a human being. Sure, I got hard. Sure, the money was important. And oh, it was an easy thing, once I had taken this step—to see these women as animals and these babies as just tissue.” It’s important to note that all three of these people, in spite of how distressed they were with what they were doing, did not stop. Why? The Bible explains it as a searing of the conscience —a hardening of the heart. It happens when you repeatedly refuse to listen to that small voice inside that keeps telling you “something isn’t right.” If you keep rationalizing and turning it off, one day you’ll wake up and guess what . . . it’s gone! Your first reaction may be to breathe a sigh of relief, but you should instead weep bitter tears of sorrow, because a part of your conscience, a part of your communication with God, has just died —and It may never come back again! What Does God Have To Say? God makes it clear that these tiny packages of humanity are fully human. “Now the word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.'” (Jeremiah 1:4-5) God knew Jeremiah when he was in his mother’s belly; God sanctified him and ordained him to be a prophet. If by an abortion, the baby should have been killed, it would have been Jeremiah who was killed. Jeremiah’s mother would not have known his name, but God had already named him. His mother would not have known he was potentially a mighty prophet of God, but God had so planned it, and would have felt the loss. The Bible tells us that John the Baptist was: “filled with the Holy Spirit, while yet in his mother’s womb.” (Luke 1:15 ) God sent His angel to Zacharias to tell him that his wife would bear a son, and even told him what his name was to be. He was told that “. . .many will rejoice at his birth—for he will be great in the sight of the Lord.” (Luke 1:11-17 ) It seems like God knew John quite well and that He had a distinct purpose for his life on earth… a purpose for him and him alone to fulfill. Last but certainly not least, the angel Gabriel announced to Mary, “Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High… and His Kingdom will have no end.” (Luke 1:31-33) And so you see, God doesn’t wait until a baby moves or becomes completely ready for life outside his mother, before He knows him, loves him, and recognizes him as a tiny human being… so why should we? Let’s Count The Cost So where do we go from here? Nazi Germany enacted a law permitting the extermination of “useless” members of society. Now we have the same pattern emerging in which a whole category of people, unloved and unborn, are being senselessly slaughtered. What is the next class of humanity to be destroyed? Will it be the aged, the handicapped, the mentally retarded? God defends the unborn, the innocent, the one who cannot speak for himself… that tiny individual who will never again be duplicated in all of human history! Only God has the right to bring the innocent home to Himself. (Deut. 32:39) Only He has the right to open or close wombs. But man has taken matters into his own hands. Mothers with their selfish excuses and doctors with their sharp instruments are playing God! I caution them to think twice because God is not pleased. In fact, He is grieved to the depths of His heart by the mutilation of these beloved children! He says in His word, “Do not kill the innocent… for I will not acquit the guilty.” (Exodus 23:7) We cannot break God’s laws without suffering the consequences! We deceive ourselves if we think He does not see. “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3) The Myth Of The “Unwanted Child” One of the most frequently heard excuses of the “pro-choice” groups is, “It would be unfair to bring another ‘unwanted child’ into the world.” Actually, there is no such thing. Once a baby is born it will never be unwanted because of the extreme shortage of newborn babies available for adoption. It is obviously not the child’s happiness and well-being that is of utmost concern here. . .but that of the parents. If you are about to make the fatal mistake of ending a life given as a gift of God (Psalm 127:3), then I beg you to reconsider. Please don’t do something that you will regret for the rest of your life. Don’t destroy something that isn’t yours. That baby belongs to God, even though it may be in your womb. If you do not feel equipped to raise a baby at this time, I urge you to take another look at the situation… maybe there is a way… pray about it. If you still feel that this is an impossibility—then BE A GIVER, NOT A TAKER. The Gift Of Life There are many families who have been waiting and desperately praying for years for the chance to adopt a child. Your child may be the answer to their prayers! Adoption is a reasonable and caring thing to do if you don’t feel you can keep your baby. If you are unable to raise your child yourself, then you have the chance to give the greatest possible gift of all—the gift of life! In fact, you can give it twice… once to your baby and then, if you decide, again to a hopeful family somewhere. You can be a life-giver, or you can commit a crime that will remain on your conscience for the rest of your life! ABORTION IS MURDER—and no matter what anyone tells you, you will not “just forget about it” You may feel cornered… like things are hopeless, and I want you to know that I am in no way insensitive to your situation or think that your problems are trivial. I simply say that abortion is not the answer. God commands us not to murder (Exodus 20:13), and going against Him will only make matters much worse. Everyone you know may be telling you you’d be a fool to have this baby—but they don’t have to live with the guilt and pain of murder… you do. That baby is half yours no matter who the father is. The choice is yours. But don’t forget, you are responsible to God for your actions—and after reading this, you certainly are not ignorant of the facts. You will be held accountable for your decision… I earnestly pray that you make the right one. Even though I don’t know you, Jesus does, and we both love you (and your baby) very, very much! Derailing thread

Exciting news. Youngest grandson just led his girlfriend to to the Lord. She has been going to church with them, and he has been having Bible studies with her and praying with her. Now she has actually received Christ. She and her brother have been celebrating holidays with us as well. The trouble is that they are still high school age and need to get careers before they think of marriage. Please pray to that end.

@Wayne222 Your prayers fights a constant, unending battle for us. It is a struggle of major proportions. I know when victory will come, it will be the greatest victory of all. Servings God, i have seen big victories in my own live and in the lives of those to whom I have proclaimed the gospel to. Even in the heart of this difficulties, i have seen victory in my life and the lives of those i meet and witness to. Many have found Jesus and experience real joy in serving Him. As as child of God, when you pray using me as a point of contact, you are not only bond with us in our hardships, but you also share all those victories. Psalm 5:3–"In the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee and will look up." Prayer is much more valuable than the any help you can offer me now. If you help me without praying for me, you are wasting you energy and resources. Why is prayer so valuable to me now? I. Prayer Is A Sin Killer II. Prayer Is A Power Bringer. In Acts 2 what happened when the church prayed. The power of God came down upon those believers who were tarrying, waiting for the promise of the Spirit. we cannot survive unless there are effectual, fervent prayers being offered on our behalf. III. Prayer Is A Victory Giver IV. Prayer Is A Holiness Producer. Prayer will result in holy living. When you pray for us, rest assured, we will have a burning desire to live a holy, separate, consecrated, Christ-like life. V. Prayer Is An Obstacle Remover. In Acts, Peter was in prison. The church was having a prayer meeting for him. The result was that God opened up the prison doors that had him bound and set him free. Obstacles are removed when God’s people exercise our responsibility and our right to pray. VI. Prayer Is A Christ Revealer. The way we can best reveal Christ in our lives is to stay in close communication and communion with Him. The more see our hardship or suffering, the more we tend to experience it. We need you assistance be it financial, material but we need your prayers more. What are we going to do with a donation it christ abandon us, nomatter how much, it will be useless. Since 2016, I have learned to trust God more and have studied the word more than when I was working, without trouble and happy. The Lord bless you. MUH PLAVIOUS
