Do you hesitate to praise God and share the word of God because you do not want to offend another? Our nation uses the term, “political correctness” which is simply a combination of words to express a theory rooted in the darkness. Men teach that you should be silent in your belief and in your praise for it may offend another who does not believe. We are to seek to be at peace with all men, but the testimony of praise is not to be silenced by the philosophy of darkness. All breath and life is held within the hands of the Father and he is to be praised. Do not let the foolishness of others lead you to be silent in your praise, for praise must be declared. Speak truth always, and speak truth even when the ears around you do not desire to hear truth. You are not to be offensive unto others, but you must not be silent in your testimony of praise. I try not to be offensive in manner, but I accept that in our day and age, truth will offend. This should not lead us to silence and we should never hide behind "political correctness". I truly believe that "political correctness" is a way that darkness and evil uses to silence truth and light. It isn't "politically correct" to state that children need to be taught the ways of Christ and praise and worship should be in our schools. It isn't "politically correct" to state that God created man and woman and that marriage was established by God, and that marriage is not to be between two men or between two women. It isn't "politically correct" to state that abortion is the greatest evil and the greatest blight against our nation. In the name of "political correctness" darkness is proclaimed and light is silenced.

Sadly there are people online who cannot control their tempers and use the tactic of attacking the person because they lack the ability to effectively respond to the ideas / doctrines they disagree with.. So take the time to weed out those people who do not respond in the way Christians should..

This is all too true as this world has been turned over to a debased mind (Romans 1:18-32). Why? John 3:19 tells us why : "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." I do and speak as I am moved to by His Spirit - if that gets me in trouble, so be it.

The vast majority of dreams are just our brain restoring chemical balance while we sleep. They can sometimes reflect our mental state. For example, for a time I was much too concerned with my job and under much stress. My dreams during this time almost always consisted of images from my day at work. After I stopped worrying about work so much, my dreams went back to typical randomness. One thing to note about spiritual or prophetic dreams is that they were rare occurrences in an individual's life. Joseph (OT) had 2 such dreams, not hundreds. Abimelech had one. Joseph (NT) only had a few and at times when he needed to make an important decision and those were quite explicit and impossible to miss. Most of our dreams are relatively random and perhaps reflect something going on in our lives. Dreams of direction from God are relatively rare and those receiving them know there is something very different about those dreams. I don't think there is much to understand in dreams except that recurring patterns or dreams might give some insight into things that deeply worry us. The rare dreams from God will also in some manner include God's guidance for understanding them. Both Joseph (OT) and Daniel when interpreting dreams for rulers said that the interpretations come from God.

Dreams are images and pictures that your mind shows you while you sleep. While the other parts of your body slows way down when you sleep your mind stays very active. You subconscious is working in your mind when you sleep. Maybe even trying to work out some unresolved issues.

Well, I think that you are correct, God doesn't expect us to not have a safety net as long as we aren't spending our money on sinful things or accumulating earthly treasures for ourselves. As for Dr. Jeremiah, he has amassed a personal net worth of approximately $21M, so I would say he might want to remove the mote from his own eye. As for Dr. Stanley, he is one of the poorest of the major TV preachers with a net worth of about $1.5M but even he couldn't very tell someone "not to hoard your money" either. It's why we need to look at how those who are telling us how to spend our money are spending theirs. I agree that we should give and not hoard and I also believe that the message gets quite ambiguous when it comes from those who have amassed small fortunes for themselves preaching that very message.

Tigger 56, Great point. Jesus was not politically correct when He overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple. Jesus' stand for truth and righteousness had to come before His concern about offending someone. I look to him for courage in declaring my faith in an increasingly scary hostile world. 1 Peter 2:7-8, “So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe,“The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” Matthew 11:6, “And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.”

Actually, I've known many Catholics who became born-again and remained within the denomination to reach others for evangelistic purposes. All had given up the aspect of supplications before Mary and so-called saints.

As an ex catholic i can confirm without a doubt that i used to pray to Mary.. I prayed the hail Mary probably over 10,000 repetitions worth or more.. Any catholic who denies that catholics pray to Mary is simply engaging in deception..

The human mind is more complex than can be fully comprehended. Dreams more than not come from our own psyche of mental and emotional thoughts. Many dreams have little or no sense to them whatsoever. Others, and I know this is also my personal experience, can evolve out of how things are going in the present or past tense. Work or former occupations, people, friends and family relationships, living or passed on, etc. I've had some very unusual ones in the last year and a half. Most of them were situationally related to my present environment. The rest are listed above. Dream on, brother. Unless they seem spiritually oriented, don't even try to interpret them. I'd say most Christian believers have few they would consider from the Lord. Attempting to understand them will only give you a headache! God will give enlightenment if meant to.

Yet another couple convicted of murder have been recently recaptured after escaping law enforcement. And yet another interview by someone who said "They seemed so caring and kind... I can't believe they could do this..." Typical of the human race in a mass denial about the human condition (or fallen sin nature). Even as I discussed this with a loved one who watched the newscast with me, they added the caveat: "people without Christ! People without Christ are capable of all this. People in Christ cannot." I did not pursue this with them, because it would have just ended up in an argument. People in Christ ARE capable of anything human nature can degenerate to. Especially when in denial about how evil we are BY NATURE. Denial, ignorance, disbelief... all unleash the potential in ALL of us to do evil we could not even imagine ourselves capable of. In Christ... IF we are aware of how our human nature is, IF we keep it under discipline under constant vigil, IF we live by the Spirit of God living in us (which is a constant / continual choice clouded by fleshly needs and interests*) THEN we would be incapable of _________________________ (fill in the blank). * this is why fasting and meditative prayer puts us in a more spiritual state (more open to the Spirit of God). Otherwise, carnal Christians (and friends, that's all of us) are capable of being evil AND are easily influenced by satanic deception and thus quite often are (unintentional / unwilling / unaware) weapons in the devil's arsenal. It is for this reason (among others) God went about his plan to redeem human beings the way he did (to try to wean us off of our physicality and onto our spirituality). First of all, it is true that to worship in Latin is to venerate. It's the same thing. Secondly, do you realize how common it was for ancient Israelite people to worship both God and other gods, especially Baal and Moloch. This is why Israel & Judah were eventually taken into captivity by Babylon. Thirdly, mankind has had this desire for a female motherly deity for a long time. Psychology can probably explain this best but my point is making Mary into a god-type of saint is just mankind's latest attempt to make God a mother. God is a spirit and if anything He likens Himself to a father. But I doubt He has a gender. So what I'm saying is when Catholics worship both God and their saints they are doing the same sin that caused the ancient Jews to go into captivity. They really need to stop doing this especially the sincere Catholics, and I have known many of them. These folks genuinely love God and don't know they are committing the most grievous sin these is, idolatry. To God nothing is worse than that because some of those other gods are the same evil angels that made war in heaven. Prior to the Internet almost no one could have found out about this but now it's going to become well known. The Catholic saints are not the spirits of dead humans they are bad angels tricking good humans into worshiping them. This is what evil angels have always done.

I don't think $1,000 will be enough for meeting my plans now that I will be freed up to think about my money coming in from government without my having to work nor be responsible for earning it. I never read them and never saw any of the movies. I don't think it's a good influence on kids.

Best advice I can give you is talk to your pastor and ask him for advice on books to read. otherwise follow blogs like coldcasechristianity and reasonablefaith.

Just because you are paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you. It is a sad thing this. But from the get-go the church was mostly antisemitic and the doctrines reflect this. For my part, I see that any 'system' preached after about 150 AD is suspect. There are exceptions, like William Booth and Smith Wigglesworth; they are the exception because regardless of doctrines, God chose them and purposed them for His Glory. Occasionally you will see someone chosen by the Lord, but sadly the pulpit-pulp is a placeholder and should be treated as such. Ask yourself; 'why do I go to church?'. Is it for 'fuzzies', or camaraderie? Is it for interest and teaching? Too many expect pastors and teachers with their half-hour allotted talk-time to be able to offset a week's worth of worldly living. Not going to happen. What you need has to be self-learned by study. Do not expect someone else to feed you. You are old enough now to feed yourself.

The bible says through the list of the flesh. But Christian are not ignorant. We have the armour of God to wear. Also he can attack physically through people. Like when Jesus was born King Herod sent a army to kill all the children born from the time the three wise men arrived. We can go to the store and be there when a criminal happens to be there and target us. So we should always pray for Gods protection.

From my experience I thin I could say that Satan does not come to you with horns a pitch fork and a long tail...…. he comes with everything you ever wanted...…. and sometimes it takes interference from God himself to say no...

You are right about the first part , if christains claim Christ yet walk not in HIS LOVE , THEY ARE FALSE . HOWEVER you are dead wrong about the second half . GOOD WORKS saves none . And any love that comes from GOD would PROCLIAM JESUS AS LORD IN MOUTH and in HEART .

Not sure if it is the primary way.. But i believe satan can and does use people who are guided by him to mock attack and persecute Christians.. Ephesians 2: KJV 2 "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:" I have no doubt that God allows satan to afflict us in other ways. Just as God allowed satan to afflict Job in the OT.. But i believe that ultimately undermines satan and with Gods help we are strengthened to resist satans tactics and ultimately be overcomers with the LORD.. Romans 8: KJV 28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

This happen a few years ago. It was something I have never experienced before. I was home one evening and I had just loaded the dishes into the dishwasher. I hadn't had my Bible reading time that day so I thought, well the dishes are loaded the family has been feed; this is a good time to go do my Bible reading. I went to the bedroom and closed the door. I sat down on the bed and just open up my Bible to a verse( I don't remember what it was) . I just read a verse my Bible open to and all of a sudden it was like this warm, feeling of peace came over me! It was like a presence that filled up the whole room! I just wanted to stay there. In that presence I had not even prayed yet. All I had down was read a Bible verse. And it was like I was in the presence of pure peace and love like I have never felt before! That was God right? God's presence?

Well there is nothing wrong with having a poof fairy ideal once in a while. Note that I am not for or against this. But it is fun to think about how things would be.

The fact is you have to have both, the correct beliefs which will lead to the correct behavior. We really need both of these to be in the kingdom of God. Faith is Jesus saves you and correct actions prove that faith is real.

This is NOT the first time hinn has done this. He renounced of this back in the 80's, the 90's, 2018. time will tell. There are articles that report that very shortly after his public renouncing on Monday, there was a live broadcast of him asking for people to donate 120 dollars to pay off debt. That broadcast has quickly become unavailable at this time. His nephew in articles and interviews, since his uncle's recent renouncing does not think that his uncle's public repentance is genuine. There was an article I recently read that his nephew said that the “healing crusades” are not truthful in and of themselves. There have been numerous articles alleging benny hinn preaching some really grievous doctrines. And saying stuff that that was very bad in the past. If he has truly repented of the prosperity stuff, one would think he would also be renouncing other grievous doctrines and belief's as well. Not just the prosperity stuff. His nephew at this time has doubts that the recent repentance is genuine given that the previous ones were due to benny receiving heavy criticism and bad pr. His nephew is hoping and praying that there is genuine change this time around. Only time and actions will tell. You can't blame people for having doubts about this, since the previous renouncement's sounded sincere, but did not last long.

I believe in God the Creator and I believe His Holy Word, yet I accept the evidence for evolution and believe God made life with the capability of unfolding itself. Would you say that disqualifies me from being a Christian? In other words, do you believe that one must believe in a 6000 year old earth and universe to be a "true" Christian? Because that certainly is NOT what the Bible says.
