  1. I dont see where skin color matters at all. In my experience, the only ones who make an issue of skin color is 1) racists 2) mormons (poor theology that teaches that skin color equates with sinfulness). The only times the bible refers to skin color is either to denote the cultural context of beauty or to refer to leprosy. Skin color does not make anyone less or better as a person, or as a saved person. Our standing before Christ should be the only thing that matters, Not the color of anyones skin.

  2. As a son of God, nothing can touch you without His express permission. This is an absolute truth, sister. Do not fear those folks. They are simply sinners, like others. If you are experiencing a pulling on the flesh by that sin because of proximity or some such--bring that to your Lord, who was also tempted in all ways so that He could give you comfort. Perhaps the Lord has allowed this season to draw you closer to Him. He wants you to know that He is your refuge and a wonderful and functional refuge He is! Find a fellowship of believers and pray together. I have found reading the psalms a great help. Particularly psalms 23 to 27. Also, these are few scriptures for you to read and find comfort. Heb. 2:18 For since He Himself was atempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted. Heb. 4:15 For we do not have aa high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been btempted in all things as we are, yet cwithout sin. 1Cor. 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and aGod is faithful, who will not allow you to be btempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

  4. Monday 11-11-19, Cheshvan 13, 5780 2nd. day of the weekly cycle, 50th. Fall day, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52 Bodies Of The Translated Living: 1 Corinthians Fifteen:51-58 Where O Death is Your Victory? 1 Corinthians Fifteen:50-58 (Isaiah 57:1-2) 50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. I think, 1 Thessalonians Four:13-18 goes together with the above: The Return of the Lord 13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Love always, Walter

  5. please check out my new book... My book Introduction I would like to give a testimony of how I found Jesus in the summer of 1997, June 1997 to be specific. First of all, due to the atrocities or evil acts that I have witnessed from April 1975 to mid 1980, from twelve to seventeen years of age, I have denied all God’s existence or any of His manifestations as well as any religions. I became an atheist. Before I move on to how I found Jesus through numbers, I would like to tell you some of the details of the evil acts that I have had to witness or experience. Both of my parents served in the military. When the communist faction took over Cambodia in 1975, one of the first things that they did was to execute all military officers. My father was one of them. They shipped all the officers to a remote location for mass execution. Fortunately, my father didn’t get killed. He came back home with a wounded arm. Three months later, they found him and executed him. This time, it was in my presence. That was the first evil act that I have witnessed. Then, they split my family apart. They sent me to work in the rice fields, sixteen hours a day seven days a week. I was almost starved to death. Due to the war in the country within many factions, including the Vietnamese army, I was pushed into a Thai refugee camp. While in the camp, I joined the orphaned group and the leader of the orphaned group took me in as his brother. Three months later, my new brother and I landed in the United States, or the heaven on earth. From September 1980 to present, I have been living in the United States. It was very hard at first, but I expected nothing from America. I accepted whatever America offered me which turned out to be more than I expected. When I first arrived in America, I had nothing. I mean really nothing; no money, no education and knew nothing about the English language. One decision that I made that changed the course of my life was to go to school and the determination to stay in school. I spent my first eight years in school while in America. In 1988, I received my degree in Electrical Engineering. My belief in education pulled me out of poverty. Then in the summer of 1997, I found God or rather God has found me. In June 1997, on Friday to be specific, the operator of my company in Minnesota called me in to fix the computer software called the State Estimator. I arrived at work around 6 am. I struggled to fix the program for about two hours. This had never happened to me before. Then I heard the “Voice” that said “why don’t you pray on it!” I said no and I denied the “Voice”. Then the “Voice” became more clear and stronger. Out of desperation, I placed my hands on the monitors and said “Whoever you are, please help me.” When I opened my eyes, the program solved again and displayed a timestamp, “08:08:08”, as a completion time for analyzing the power system or the power grid. I was intrigued with the numbers and thought that these numbers most have a religious meaning, involving God. But how do I know which god? Was it Allah, Jesus, Buddha or Hindu’s gods? I could not confirm it. So, I moved on with other life pressing tasks. Then, the numbers “888” appeared to me again during lunch time. And then again at around 1 pm. That got me thinking and I entered it in the internet searching engine. The result blew my mind away. It said that “888” is a number that belongs to Jesus as it is a summation through His name of the Greek alphabet. I broke down and cried. I stopped working for the rest of the day and searched and learned about Jesus as well as His Father. Before I went home, I placed my hands on the monitor, said the prayer, gave my life to Jesus and I became the follower of Jesus Christ ever since. If you are inspired by this story, please order my book on Amazon. The book is called “From Darkness into Light: A Journey from Cambodia to America” God bless you! Adam

  6. Sorry, I might have missed something but I still don't understand the reason behind your OP or whether you were trying to make a point of some kind...? There are things in scripture that appear to be contradictory but aren't really. The example of Paul having Timothy circumcised when elsewhere he preached against circumcision.....i believe thankfully can be resolved. Paul was preaching against circumcising out of a belief that it is required by God, since it is no longer required under the new covenant....he was talking in the context of being circumcised as a work of the Law, and in the context of those who were trying to make Gentiles get circumcised. But it is not a sin in itself to be circumcised..... and so Paul had Timothy circumcised out of expediency in the interests of the gospel, so as to not offend unbelieving Jews unnecessarily, since Timothy's mother was a Jew which made Timothy a Jew according to scripture and in the eyes of other Jews.....it isn't as if Paul was trying to make a Gentile get circumcised. And he didn't do it from a wrong belief that God requires it of a believer, or to avoid being persecuted by the Jews.....but only for the sake of expediency so as to not put an unnecessary stumbling block in the way of Jews coming to faith, where Paul and Timothy were evangelizing together. Hope that makes sense and puts your mind at ease on that, and if you want to bring other things that appear contradictory, maybe we can look at them to see if the Lord will help us resolve those as well...if you want, we can try.

  7. We do not have to reach a standard of 'goodness', atain a level of 'holiness', achieve a degree of 'purity', do enough 'good works', but we come as we are to humbly, there is a catch, to recieve from God the gift of faith to believe that Jesus is our Saviour. Think. We do not earn or deserve in any way what we are given. Isn't that amasing.

  8. I agree wholeheartedly with what you have said, ...may I add that "desiring" is just the first step, ...we "desire," ...but lack the "power" to do, ...the "desiring" and often the subsequent "failing" to do is what brings us to the point of understanding and realizing that if the "desire" is to be accomplished then it has to be done by someone else Zech 4:6, ...and that someone is the Holy Spirit living and working through us to conform us into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ, ...when we relinquish all authority of our lives to Him, then He comes and sits on the Throne of our hearts (after all, our bodies "are" the Temple of God) and the life we live is imitating our Lord by and through the "power" of the Holy Spirit. Lord bless

  9. Thank you for your post. First and foremost I thank Jesus for His love, grace and mercy and saving my soul. Protecting me for His will and purpose for my life. I thank the Lord and appreciate all veterans who put themselves in harms way to protect and enjoy the freedoms and privileges we have today. I pray all the blood and sacrifice that was shed for this nation doesn't come to vain and for naught. We are becoming an unappreciative nation with an entitlement mentality, and the nation owes us. The words of John F. Kennedy have become a joke [Ask not what...] Remembrance of those whom sacrificed their very last measure of self; those whom were wounded, disfigured, blinded and lost limbs for life. Their families whom coped with and struggled with financial stress and loss of the bread winner; loss of loved ones, the inability of the Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine to work or function normally as they once did. In the history of the world, freedom is not nor has ever been free. It is by the grace of God and His will, and historically bought and paid for with shedding of blood. This nation is doing its best to squander away what the Lord has blessed us with. Today, a recognized holiday is a day we hope to get off work; to BBQ, drink beer, watch a sports game and complain about anything and everything. How many do you suppose don't even take a moment anymore to stop what they're doing, and say a short prayer of thanks for what they have, and the Lord whom arranged and supplied it? 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. God bless you veterans.

  10. Perhaps the following will be helpful...I hope so. First of all 'Love' as we Christians are concerned, is not an emotion. For us Christians, it is a state of mind that exists as the Love of God 'In Christ' flows through us. It will often feel like emotion because we are emotional creatures, but emotions can fool us--just as we all know. Love is thinking/believing that someone else is more important than you are. We have this perfect example in our Lord, who thought that we were more important than His own life and suffering! This is a thing that flows from the Life within you and that well is deep. We only need to be out of the way and that comes over time and the Lord's dealings with you. Our minds are changed and we become more like Him. Truly believing that another individual is more important than you are, guarantees a different sort of behavior. It happens as we abide 'In Him'. This is not something that can be forced or made up....as is everything in a believers life, the only good that we can experience flows from Christ within. We call these things "the fruit of the Spirit". The fruit that is manifested by and through the Life of Christ within us. As we yield to Him and get out of the way, this is a very natural thing. For Christ--as natural as breathing. Whether forgiveness or love or grace or mercy---it is all the very Nature of Christ. And that Nature is yours. The river flows.

  11. I'm sorry to disagree with you ( perhaps I'm reading your answer wrong) you said you love unclean spirits! We as Christians do love evil spirits (we cast them out in Jesus name) we are to love the people. You also said ( Box of rules and legalism) as Christians we are to show love and God's rules ( his holy words, the truth) to those who are involved in these horrible abominations. God is love but he will not love sin, nor evil spirits. We do not either, as children of God ( we love the sinner but hate the sin) If I misunderstood you, I apologize.

  13. God's Love is like a spring of water in a desert. When the tribulations of life come the sources of water in the desert dry up, the brooks and streams cannot flow in the harsh dryness. But the Love of God comes from within the person and never dries up, and refreshes both friend and foe. God's love overflows from our soul and reaches to others, even to 0our enemies. To answer your question, We Love, because he first loved us, in that while we were yet enemies, he died for us. Thus we love not out compulsion or command, but out of a heartfelt desire to see others experience the Love of God, including our enemies.

Each morning I think praise the Lord, I’m one day closer to being with you Jesus, Home with you. We are getting closer and closer to Heaven all the time. We are not standing still and we’re not getting further away. It is a continual linear forward. And soon. Very soon. We will be there. As you say, seeing Christ face to face, at last! Love ya sis. 15. Knowledge is knowing facts about things. Understanding is knowing the relationships between facts. Wisdom is being able to consistently use and apply knowledge and understanding to actual situations in life in a godly way. In Jesus's day, the Jews had the knowledge of the Law about the Sabbath and specific things that could or could not be done. Jewish scholars over the centuries arrived at an understanding of what it meant to keep the Sabbath and derived principles and rules which extended beyond those things specifically mentioned in the Law. They addressed situations not specifically mentioned in the Law. Then Jesus came along and simply pointed out God created the Sabbath as a blessing for man and not as a heavy weight to be carried. The Sabbath was created for man and not man for the Sabbath. Many Christians mistake knowledge and understanding for wisdom. Christians who have knowledge will quote bible verses. Christians who have some degree of understanding will debate theological points and enforce rules based on knowledge and theology. Christians who have wisdom will encourage and inspire people and speak God's guidance to particular situations in a way that drives positive spiritual change. For those who have wisdom, knowledge and understanding are merely tools and not ends in themselves. Many Christians take James 1:5 as meaning that wisdom is something like a light switch where you either have it or you don't and that it suddenly arrives all at once in answer to prayer. I think there is situational wisdom in which God gives guidance for a particular situation. However, I also think there is a general fruit of wisdom wherein wisdom starts to characterize our very thoughts and attitudes toward people and situations. As far as I can tell, that is something which we need to desire and seek after which God causes to grow in our lives over time. Often wisdom seems to come from asking Why? and not being satisfied with the first answer but learning how to find answers. Asking Why? without knowing how to find answers often leads to a cynical skepticism masquerading as something virtuous. Learning how to ask good questions and learning how to find good answers is a first step toward gaining wisdom. So is figuring out who are wise people to learn from. There is no shortage of people who can dispense knowledge and understanding, but those who dispense wisdom are rarer. There is no shortage of people who give the impression of being wise through fancy talk and sheer confidence and will spout advice at every situation, but there are fewer who can consistently give wise counsel that bears spiritual fruit in the long run. EDIT: I too should add that everything I've written here presupposes that one is walking with God on a consistent basis and growing spiritually. It is the atoning work of Jesus Christ that makes us a new creation and transforms us. To some degree wisdom is a natural result of walking with God. But to some degree, some Christians just seem to be satisfied with knowledge and understanding and never press on to wisdom.

  16. Dealing with witchcraft Witchcraft is detestable to God and it hurts kids and breaks up relationships. It makes God furious (Jesus), it ruins peoples lives (Others) and it steals your soul (You). It hurts the JOY in this world and I hate it with a passion. How to defend yourself: - Praise Jesus. Praise is the highest level of faith. - Read your bible. Faith comes through hearing and hearing through the word of God. Jesus is the Word. - Serve God in actions. This really helps as it gives you the breastplate of righteousness. - Get yourself wisdom and understanding. Understanding cuts through the lies of witchcraft like a hot knife through butter. - Sensibly listen to Christian heavy metal like "Seventh day slumber", do some press ups and have some frickin courage! Bless you, Shalom

  17. Shalom to all my brothers and sisters called to be saints, Here is an introduction study to the Book of Micah. It may be obvious to a lot of you out there, but you may of know of a new believer who could benefit from it. -------------------------------------- THE BOOK OF MICAH - Level 1 Study Micah, or Mikah in Hebrew, means “Who is like Him?”, with the full name MikaYahu meaning “Who is like Yahu”. The name is related to Michael which means “who is like El (God)?” Micah’s name is a rhetorical question, just like many questions within this book. FACT: Michael (Mi-ka-el in Hebrew) is the name of THE Archangel in the Bible. He is mentioned rising to fight in future Great War the latter days, in Daniel 12:1… "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered." BACKGROUND INFO You need to keep the following in mind to not be utterly lost during the book. So here is a brief news update! Israel has been divided into two kingdoms for many years now, after King Solomon's death. The northern kingdom of Israel has descended into evil, idolatry and all ways contrary to Torah - the Instructions of Yahweh, the God of the Bible. The southern kingdom are going much the same way. Despite some good kings in the south, the general trend is down and away from Torah. Now, whilst all 12 tribes of Israel can be referred to as Jacob collectively, because of this divide, the kingdoms are referred to with different names. The 10 tribes in the north are called either Israel (as they are the bulk of the tribes), Ephraim or Samaria. As for the 2 tribes in the south, they are referred to with the names Judah, Jerusalem or the House of David. We join Micah at about 15 years before the Assyrian Empire took the northern kingdom, Israel, into captivity. As for Judah, they have about 130 years left before the Babylonians would come to take them into captivity. By now, Israel and Judah have had many warnings from the prophets, with painful cries from Yahweh, pleading for them to repent before it’s too late. Sadly, and much like ourselves, they still wouldn’t listen and therefore called Yahweh’s hand. THE MESSIAH Look out for the detailed charges of the injustices and cruelties that were going on in Israel at the time as it’s important to understand that dark time in history. Micah charges the people and towns like a lawsuit but also poetically. In Hebrew, the poetry is on a deeper level, employing a lot of clever wordplay that unfortunately doesn't come across too well in English. However, within this heaviness, we suddenly get the light of the Messiah prophesied in chapter 2, as the coming of the great shepherd and king. The last great 'shepherd-king’ that Israel had was King David. Therefore, within prophetic language, the name David can be used as a title of the Messiah, depending on context. But perhaps even more significant is the prophecy later in the book. In Chapter 5 we read a prophecy about the birthplace of the Lord Yahushua (Jesus Christ), written hundreds of years before it happened, which can be independently verified. The passage reads: “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.” This amazing prophecy gives us the specific birthplace of the Messiah - Bethlehem Ephrathah. FACT 1: There was another Bethlehem which was in the North of Israel, but the Messiah was indeed born in Bethlehem Ephrathah, which is in the south, near Jerusalem. FACT 2: A highly significant insight that reveals that the Messiah won’t be just a man, but have a timeless pre-existence. FACT 3: Bethlehem means “House of Bread”. Bethlehem Ephrathah was the birthplace of King David (ruled 1010 - 970 BC approx). Although it’s a very small and humble town, it supplied bread and lambs to the Holy City, Jerusalem. Would there be any other town more appropriate for the Lord Yahushua to be born? Especially considering that some of His titles include: “Son of David”, “The Bread from Heaven” and “The Lamb of God”. A great example of prophetic design at work by the Creator. FAVOURITE SCRIPTURE In chapter 6, you’ll find one of my most favourite passages in Scripture. It highlights the "weighter matters of Torah" as the Messiah would say. That is, the fundamental basics which MUST be in place - otherwise everything else is for nothing and just merely legalistic obedience. In this short passage, Micah sums up this principle with a rhetorical poem that surely points to the very heart of Torah and the Gospel: "With what shall I come before Yahweh, And bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old? Will Yahweh be pleased with thousands of rams, Ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does Yahweh require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" ------------------------------- If you would like to send this to someone you know, you can find an online version here: www.faithandtheword.com/bible/micah/ Love & Shalom

  19. HE WHO WINS SOULS IS WISE Pr 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. There's a double meaning in that last phase. For it is wise to give oneself to the winning of souls. For little else has eternal value. But it also takes wisdom in order to win souls. Thus even the Apostle Paul asks, "Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel." Eph 6:19 So also it mentions in Dan 12:3 "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever." Today consider how you're involved in this activity of winning souls, and how you may be more effective in doing so. The Berean Christian Bible Study Resources

  21. I should have said that witchcraft makes God furious as He loves us so much and wants to protect us from it. I read in a CS Lewis book the other day that the enemy aims to give people nastier temptations with less pleasure as he works on you over time. So basicly over time you turn into a zombie. Proverbs 4:18-19 The path of the righteous is like the first light of dawn shining ever brighter till the full light of day but the path of the wicked is like deep darkness and they dont even know what they stumble over.

  25. The action is the result of God's love overflowing from us. Some verses.... No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. ....And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.(1 John 4:12, 16-19) God's love is the natural outflowing of God's love for us. It is not a "forced" action, but one that comes naturally through us. Both Religious and non religious people can feel a certain way about people, and they can treat people in a loving way, But this is not God's love flowing through us. It is not agape Love but Phileo(brotherly love). Agape Love is the New commandment of Jesus, To love one another as he loved us (sacrificially). It is the last step in our sanctification according to 2 Peter 1:5-7 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness (philadelphia); and to brotherly kindness charity (Agape). Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. (Romans 12:9) Love must be sincere (without dissimulation) Thus it is tied to the Truth. Love that tolerates wickedness is not Love instead we must speak the Truth in Love (Eph. 4:15) And vice versa Love the Truth(2 thess 2:10) To abhor Evil is to love someone at times, Tough love as we call it these days. For example, an addict will ask you for a "loving" handout, But you are merely enabling their wicked addiction if you do so.... I Don't know about you, But I could write about this topic for days, and still not explain the immensity of His Love for us. Great topic.

Looking forward to that day When I put this tent away In God's presence, made brand new All the pains of life are through There, I'm severed from the past Face to face with Christ at last From my weakened frame set free Oh what glory that shall be! "For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee." (2 Corinthians 5:1-5) While I remain on this earth, I'll serve Him gladly... praying I can be used to make a difference and pointing others towards Jesus Christ.

  28. In the Bible record, God’s servants adopted different positions when praying. Some kneeled; others stood. Nehemiah prayed while he was standing before the king of Persia. Jonah cried out from the belly of a huge fish, and it would be difficult to say what position he was in at that time, as he was no doubt tumbling around in the entrails of the fish! (Daniel 6:10; 1 Kings 8:22; Nehemiah 2:1-5; Jonah 2:1, 2) So while we may wish to adopt a position that will help us to concentrate, as mentioned earlier, the important thing is to have a sincere desire to approach God in prayer. We can do this at any time, in any place and under any circumstances.—Ephesians 6:18.

  29. I'll have to second that also from Jade, if I'm understanding her correctly. Humbly kneeling in prayer is all fine and good if you're able to do so. This is no longer possible for me either. Last time I got down on my haunches, which is a full stoop, getting back up almost didn't happen. That's why adding 1st Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. in my previous post. As believers, we can pray while doing anything else that needs attending. It's called multi-tasking first century style, and the Apostle Paul excelled in this.

  32. Try not to see prayer as a ritual. Prayer is simply conversing with God. There is no preferred format. Just honest conversation. God hears our heart in prayer, not our form.

  33. I regularly pray laying down, and rising up, and before meals. The other 99% of prayers are anywhere and any time, in any position. I have been developing the habit of trying to keep a God awareness. I acknowledge Him as often as I can remember to do so. I remember "He will never leave me He will never forsake me. Never. God is Light.....

  34. Yes, it most certainly is. Anytime, anywhere, and anyway you are able. God places no specifics on your personal physical placement when you pray. It's your heart He sees, and your heart He hears. Also Praying in silence is as effective as it is audibly. The Apostle Paul has this to say. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 16Rejoice evermore. 17Pray without ceasing. 18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. KJV

  35. Oh Sister, there is not an assigned prayer position - I have my morning prayer corner time where I sit and pray from my list of needs collected, I pray driving down the road when I'm on a trip or stuck in my car for a bit of time, I pray working at my desk when needs arise, I pray laying in my bed every night until He eventually gives me sleep. You, praying while holding that lil one, is so perfectly fine - and think of the impact it'll have on them one day. You're showing from day 1 how important it is to talk to their Heavenly Father.

  36. Jesus experienced immense sufferings of agony in the Garden of Gathsemane. Scriptures go into detail concerning this time spent in intercession before the Father. But the final work was on the cross of Calvary. When He said, "It is finished." that made it complete.

  38. If the Lord hearing my prayers depends on my kneeling ... then He will neer hear my prayers. I kneel, then I cant get up. The bible tells us how to pray in philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Sitting in a chair holding your baby, kneeling with clasped hands, in the car with eyes wide open .... Position does not matter. Condition of the heart in prayer matters.

  39. Our Father in Heaven knows even what you are thinking dear sister. I remember when one of the women of our church, a teacher, went to Russia. She was to only teach the Bible as a history book, not as the Word of God. A guard stood at the door of her classroom. She could not even close her eyes. If she did, they would infer she was praying, and would be sent back to the USA immediately. So, she prayed with her eyes open. Guess what happened? The students she taught, all professors without Christ, began understanding what the Bible was teaching, and the Holy Spirit was leading them to Christ. Even the Communist guard became a Christian. Rules are not what Jesus commands---but your heart. Pray on your head if you desire; Jesus smiles. God bless you, and your baby.

  42. Thursday 11-7-19, Cheshvan 9, 5780 5th. day of the weekly cycle, 46th. Fall day, Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 ◄ Zechariah Four ► King James Bible Par ▾ The Gold Lampstand 1And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, 2And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 6Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 7Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. 8Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 9The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. 10For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth. The Two Olive Trees 11Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 14Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. Love always, Walter and Debbie

Former Republican Congressman and 2020 presidential hopeful Joe Walsh is slamming Fox News and conservative talk radio for their coverage of the impeachment probe of President Donald Trump. “This is an absolute shame and I think you’ve got to call it out for what it is,” Walsh told CNN’s Brian Stelter on “Reliable Sources” Sunday. “The Americans who listen to Fox News and conservative talk radio are being lied to and manipulated every day when it comes to impeachment.” See link for full story: https://abc17news.com/news/money/2019/11/03/republican-presidential-candidate-joe-walsh-says-fox-news-and-conservative-radio-are-lying-to-american

  49. Getting wisdom is begun by recognizing we don't have any. And the first thing we'll run into after we ask ...is fear...holy fear. We can hardly acquire wisdom if we don't know what it is. Proverbs 8 ...most of the chapter, reveals some amazing insights into that....but the bottom line is WE ARE instructed to get wisdom...and it's not the same as knowledge or understanding though both of those are intimately connected to wisdom and cannot be separated from wisdom. Pursuit of wisdom is one of the fundamental things a christian walk should include.
