  1. Hello ConnorLiamBrown, Lets look at other miracles too. 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ( Genesis 1:1) Resurrection of Christ. Jesus Christ raised from dead. 40 but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen. 41 He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. (Acts 10) 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. (1 Thessalonians 4) Another miracle to be performed. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (1 Thessalonians 4) Greetings !
  2. Hi ! I like your questions. I had lot of similar type of questions and I still have many. I worried lot but now I don't. I believe our Lord will guide us through all these things one by one, slowly, according to our capability.
  3. Nephew ,who is 5 yrs old, was told that God made sun, stars, sky, birds, so on........everything. Soon hearing all those things, Nephew was in deep thoughts but he didn't know this. After few minutes , he came up with some ideas and shouted," God painted the sky".
  4. "confusedpiece" verily believed that friendship does not occur between man and woman if one of them is married or they are both married (not eachother). Neither his assumption was inspired by anyone nor his assumption was inspired by Bible. Now, he has a question. According to Bible, "what is the meaning of friendship?" "Any opinion and any verses from Bible ?"
  5. "Confusedpiece" thought he could reply this answer. First he read Bible randomly. Soon he thought it isn't the best way to read Bible to finish as whole. And he was so determined to finish whole Bible by reading from first to last order as one whole book and started reading from Genesis. Soon, again, he thought it isn't the best way to read Bible and left in the middle, though he finished Genesis to 2 Kings. While reading OT books he missed NT books. So, now, he alternates OT and NT Books. Eg. After reading Genesis he reads Matthew and so on. He thinks this is the best way to read Bible. However, "confusedpiece" hasn't completed whole Bible yet . He believes that one day he will. He is in Luke now, and then he will be reading Psalms. He wonders if anyone have ever tried this reaading plan "Whole Bible in a day" !!!
  6. Hi, Matthitjah ! Moment of love, happiness, grace & peace of Lord Jesus Christ. "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you." --- (2 Thessalonians 3:16)
  7. man Posted Today, 04:16 AM I've always looked at that verse to mean, don't answer violence with violence. A good example would be what happened to Christ just before His crucifixion. "man" ! Reading your comment, "confusedpiece" thought even more. In conclusion, he thinks that the verse (Luke 6:29) isn't that easy like what he thought in his earlier post. He remembers the verse he has been quoting recently in the chat room which he thought he liked it. Here it goes.... "But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God." (1 Peter 2:20)
  8. "confusedpiece" thinks so ! In genealogical record in Bible, mostly the son's names are listed than wives or daughters. He thinks that this might be the answer for that but not sure. [He created them male and female and blessed them. And when they were created, he called them "man."] (Genesis 5:2)
  9. "If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. ......" (Luke 6:29) It sems to be impossible for me. I would choose to run after getting one rather than turning other cheek or strike back. In the middle of the quarrel, if someone give me the first strike, I would definetly strike him back. lol Ok, I went through the verse. Found myself to be questioning, "Why would someone strike on my cheek? What would be the condition for that?" If I have really done damage, harm or have committed crime against someone and still the victim can't get justice for that or simply I am so strong that the victim is so hopeless and helpless. Now, what would that victim do? Surely the desperate victim would at least strike on my cheek if he get chance to. Now what happens if I am not that old criminal anymore and knows Lord Jesus and repents before him for sins committed and that desperate victim strikes me on my cheek? Now I would turn other cheek to him and even compensate for the loss done. It seems like it is possible for me now. lol I remember once G. Bush got two shoes thrown at him by Iraqi Journalist during news conference. Nothing to do with it ! Stupid ! lol lol lol
