  1. I've hopped among the earthworks, Trilithons, Station Stones, and Preseli bluestones of Stonehenge, before the parking lot, pedestrian tunnel, and bus terminal were erected, and before barricades were put around the monument to restrict public access. I have gathered much knowledge of LadyP and the Welsh and druidic designs for their Pembrokeshire compatriots. But the mysterious secrets and otherworldly catfood connections will not be divulged by me. Nosirree!
  2. I discovered a very old thread with this topic but would like to revisit it. When the above poster stated, "the majority of atheists and agnostics is we've already been down the christianity road," I thought of several friends of mine. Many of which were raised in Christian homes, said they were believers, got baptised, went to church, and are now pagans, atheists, or witches. Some actually went to Christian schools and know the bible pretty good yet are now unbelievers and sceptics. Once a believer, is it possible to be un-converted from Christianity? This topic has been stuck in my head for some time. Thanks for responding Hi again, ~~angelique~~ I don't know how much you may have heard or read concerning proponents of OSAS (once saved, always saved). It can be a controversial topic for some. I am one of those who favors an understanding of Christian Scripture that teaches God is the one who primarily has made a choice ("before the creation of the world" - Ephesians 1:4) of those who will be eternally with Him - who we might sometimes term as believers or saved individuals. Sometimes this OSAS is also framed in the language of "eternal security", or a "perseverance of the saints" (often noted as the "P" in the anagram TULIP, commonly used as a summary of Calvinistic or Reformed theology). Briefly, though also at the heart of your inquiry, is another often controversial and sometimes bitterly divisive consideration pertaining to the different ways we (Christians, Atheists, and others) employ the terms believe and believers, even as the terms are variously used to mean different things within Bible. Briefly, I

  4. Thanks, neb. I'm surprised I didn't catch the news earlier. Here's his website posting: Solid Rock And here's a bit more about his life and final week: http://www.transworldnews.com/NewsStory.as...8060&cat=16 http://www.christianitytoday.com/music/new...arrynorman.html http://www.speroforum.com/site/article.asp?idarticle=14596 http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news...arry-norman-rip He had had heart problems for many years, and came close to death many times over the past decade or so. He gave a concert on Friday, and died of heart failure at home in Oregon about 2:45 Sunday morning. God bless him, I've got a whole collection of his albums, CDs, and videos. He wasn't an ideal Christian, but he was uniquely foundational to the genre of Contemporary Christian music. If you've somehow missed catching the great songs of an earlier era, every CCM lover ought to here his early recordings - they're as relevant now as they were in the 70s. He's in my all-time top 10 of CCM artists.
