I agree with you completely. That's why we have laws on the issues you mentioned. Yes, they are life and death issues. Parade permits must be obtained if protesters plan to use a public roadway, and this is more complex than most would think (i.e. routes, times, numbers, etc.). Numerous levels of local government can deny the permit based on public safety, public nuisance, and other issues.

I think that man made global warming is the biggest con game in human history. Climate naturally changes in cycles - sometimes over lengthy periods of time. Wonder of all wonders, our sun has a lot to do with it. Small changes, up or down, in solar activity obviously impacts our temperatures here on earth. First and foremost, I'm a purchased possession of Jesus Christ, and I belong to Him. The same is true for the rest of my extended family. Our number one is that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for our Sins. My list of things to give thanks for is too lengthy to post, so I'll just mention a few: God's love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness, Our necessities of life, A loving family, Healthy children and grandchildren.

I've heard the rumors about Obama declaring martial law, and I don't buy it. Things have to be horrible and grossly out of control before martial law could even be considered. So far, local law enforcement is handling things quite well. State Police and National Guard would be next up if things get out of control. So far, these riots are tiny in comparison to Ferguson and other places. If it could be proven that Soros paid for all this, he should be charged with inciting a riot - multiple counts - and prosecuted to the limits of the law. I said in another thread that I have no problem at all with peaceful protests that don't break the law. Those who set fires, break windows, loot, hurt people, and violate numerous other laws should be arrested.

Electing Donald Trump has set the progressive socialists back at least a decade, longer than that if Trump serves well for 8 years. I think that people woke up finally and saw what democrats were doing to this country. The lessons of the last few years have been very painful. I can't imagine why so many people wanted more of the same. We now have a chance to turn things around. This is a great opportunity God has given us, and I hope that it isn't wasted.

Protesters can protest all they want as long as they don't violate the law. Those who violate the law should be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Maybe George Soros will also pay for their bails, fines, and legal fees.

I see that you live in Oklahoma also. My wife and I have lived in Oklahoma all of our lives, but we recently moved North, closer to the source of all the earthquakes. We've lived in our new place about two months and have already gone through two earthquakes over 5 on the scale. I'm still trying to learn more about the association between the oil industry and earthquakes. It appears that the frequency and intensity of the earthquakes is going up, and the oil industry appears to be the primary cause. I like the oil industry, but I think they have no choice but to start getting things under control. This Cushing quake could have been a much larger disaster than it was.

I prefer onscreen for numerous reasons. I have several freeware Bible study programs, my favorite being e-Sword. I have literally thousands of modules for e-Sword, most being free. First, I can make the font whatever size I want, and I can take an entire library with me on a laptop, I-Phone, or I-Pad. My library includes a nice variety of Bible translations, dictionaries, commentaries, books, and articles. Searches in numerous categories are very powerful and quick. Only the newer materials under copyright involve fees (royalties). I find that the best materials are usually older and free.

I think that it's far beyond just politics. I think that the folks in D.C. have secrets on each other and use those secrets to force actions that they want. So, the checks and balances are broken because of gross corruption. Further, I think that many of those secrets are so awful that they would be hard to believe.

The one true church is not a physical church made with human hands with a denominational name over the door. All of the members of the one true church are saved, and that's the only way you can become a member. That one true church is called the Church which is the Body of Christ. All truly saved people are members of Christ's Body - His Church, regardless of what physical church they attend. First, I don't want to get in a debate about the timing of the Rapture. I consider the Tribution Period to be a time of wrath. See the following Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 (AKJV) 9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 (AKJV) 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to fables. Romans 10:17 (AKJV) 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Isaiah 55:11 (AKJV) 11 So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. We should not slow or stop the sharing of the Gospel of the Grace of God. We must not get discouraged and continue to yield for God's use.

The Rapture is one of the most joyous events in human history. I believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, but I have no problem with those who believe in a Mid-Tribulation or Post-Tribulation Rapture. The difference is not worth having a big argument over. Lengthy study is required to establish an opinion. Regardless, God's timing will be perfect. It's important to consider some facts while studying this issue: 1 - Jesus Christ doesn't come all the way down to earth at the Rapture. This is in contrast to His Second Coming that will be all the way down to earth. 2 - The Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ are not the same event. The Second Coming of Christ is in great and holy Wrath. 3 - Israel and the Church which is the Body of Christ are two separate and unique entities. God made specific promises to both that will be kept perfectly at God's appointed time.
