  1. Interesting topic, Marilyn. I thought for sure I had read scripture that said Jesus was fully man as we are. I looked it up and no place does scripture say Jesus was fully man, exactly, that I could find. Only that he had the attributes of man, the likeness, evidence etc; Quote: "In the four Gospels, there is ample evidence that Jesus was fully human since He was born to a human mother (Matthew 1:25), He experienced hunger (Matthew 21:18) and thirst (John 19:28). Jesus also experienced temptation (Matthew 4:1) pain and suffering (Matthew 16:21), and He died (Matthew (27:50)" I did find this though, that is the closest I could find, that he was like us in all things. “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.” Hebrews 2:14-17. I do not know the specifics of 'heavenly man' vs the man Adam. Thought it, fully man like us, was necessary for the sacrifice on the cross to be just. But what do I know of the mysteries of God... Thanks Marilyn. got me digging...
  2. Yes an accident. A video shows a large container ship lost power and rammed a major support pillar causing collapse of bridge. Many video/reports available on the tube.
  3. Could it be the unmerited recipient's mercy received was due to the Son of God, our advocate, in whom the Father was well pleased?
  4. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" 2 Corinthians 5:17
  5. Joseph, a silent unknown yet faithful, is now recorded in the Word of God. "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up"
  6. “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much" And vice versa...
  7. Big Lou's Pizza, San Antonio Texas.. Multi Flavor, with or without pineapple... Perspective.. See any pineapple
  8. Good question walter... He is faithful. I exist. He gave me the Word. I'm born again, received a chosen by God wife, children/grand children, all born again, we live in America, I'm the richest man I know. Oh, and he directed me to Worthy christian forum yrs ago, sharing/learning with like minded believers.... Thanks, walter...
  9. 1Co 13:8 Charity never faileth: Charity; Love = affection or benevolence. Benevolence = doing good or giving aid to others, rather than making profit. Doing the right thing without expecting a return/acknowledgement. (unseen:) I also, Adrien, feel know I have fallen short. So God tells us how to love him. Bottom line, crystal clear, no if's and's or butt's, simply obey him. John. 14. [15] If ye love me, keep my commandments. [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Neat stuff... Thanks Pat/Adrien
  10. I think Judgement ( Bema) Seat of Christ. Wood hay stubble-Gold Silver Precious stones. Good works to the glory of God vs self works to self glory. Not sin judgement. Judgement of what we have been doing considered works. “For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 The judgement of our works (at the Judgement seat of Christ) determines our position ruling. Or not. Only believers will be judged for their works. The lost will go to the great white thrown judgement. Wood hay stubble works are burned, not salvation, but we may enter as by fire with little or no 'good' works. Gold silver precious stones are representative of good works done while here on earth. To whom much is given, much is required. Talents-grace-knowledge-blessings, health/wealth etc. Receiving much requires good stewardship, faithfulness, with what God has given us to use to his glory. Receiving little is the same, being faithful with the little, a good steward, gains more, or much more. Receiving much and yet being a poor steward with God's blessing is held accountable by the judgement seat. Like at the biblical Olympics, the judge has watched the participants. Evaluating-judging the winners, the faithful, at His Judgement seat, individually, I do not believe corporately. Bema means a raised 'podium' that God will sit and judge each one of our works. Those who have been faithful in much, will receive much in the ruling, 1-2-3 cities or provinces, etc, not sure the amounts etc.. Those who received much and were yet poor stewards, wood hay stubble mostly, will receive little. Those that received little yet were very faithful in what they received, good stewards, will receive much concerning rewards, or ruling. There's much more but I believe the jist is simply right now God is recording our works, and the past and future. Who was the faithful stewards? These will be judged at the Bema seat, and the results determine our position with Christ in the future reign. This is not anything to do with any sins which have all been paid for. It's about how we have actually been showing our God and savior how much we love Him. Or not. He will judge to determine who rules what where, if anything. My simple studied understanding. PS, edit add. The works we do/have done is decided on most by our motive for having done a 'good' work. Not the amount, but having been a good steward, faithful, for whatever amount we had to work with. Why do a work? To be seen, praised by friends for unjust gain, to show someone up etc etc, or silently, maybe unseen, or simply because we know it will please-glorify the Father.
  11. I thank you for bearing your memories of a rough time, OO. I think we are so often blessed when we do not even know how, yet. The older I get, the more thankful, grateful I have become. Your sharing this helps my understanding. My wife and my own exact age, also. So much stuff just don't seem so important to us anymore. More time for sowing seed/works. We are very grateful for the health we still have, and for what is still working.... Thanks again..
  12. Would you care to elaborate your experience with me. I have never heard an audible voice. Only my own thoughts/impressions, vaguely. Hopefully influenced/prompted by the holy spirit and not another spirit. I have been been born of the spirit, yet do not know of any 'baptism' in the spirit experience. Nor any voice. I do not question those who have experienced them. Only ponder why then I have not, if hearing a voice and/or being re baptized in the spirit is available to all believers. Thanks other one...
  13. John 10:27, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart" The Word is God. God speaks through his word. It is hid in my heart. I hear Him, his voice, all day long.
  14. Jesus unites... (yet he also creates division) Love the Lord....Love our Neighbor....In Christ.....United. Jesus states, “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.” Mathew 10, 34 Jesus said, “Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three.” Luke 12:51
  15. WHY IS THE WORLD SO OBSESSED WITH COLOR! Not the world that is obsessed but those who want to run/control it. Pointing out color, language, differences, divides the whole. Division genders strife. Strife creates today's evening news.
