  1. Hi Warrior 777. As Christians we are not supposed to judge or condemn people(Luke 6:37). So if someone has gotten a divorce it is not my place to judge it, or view them differently ever, because there may have been things going on in their marriage that I don't know about or that are none of my business. Care about everyone. Here are some some scriptures about the topic of divorce and remarriage. Matthew 5:32(NLT) But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultry. And one who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery. Mark 10:3-10(NLT) Jesus answered them with a question: "What did Moses say in the law about divorce?" "Well, he permitted it," they replied. "He said a man can give his wife a written notice of divorce and send her away." But Jesus responded, "He wrote this commandment only as a concession to your hard hearts. But 'God made them male and female' from the beginning of creation. 'This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to her wife, and the two are united as one' Since they are no longer two but one, let no one spit apart what God has joined together." Later, when he was alone with his disciples in the house, they brought up the subject again. He told them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries someone else, she commits adultery." Matthew 19:7-8 (NLT) "Then why did Moses say in the law that a man could give his wife a written notice of divorce and send her away?" they asked. Jesus replied, "Moses permitted divorce only as a concession to your hard hearts, bur it was not what God intended. And I tell you this, whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery-unless his wife has been unfaithful." 1 Corinthians 7:15-16 (But if the husband or wife who isn't a believer insists on leaving, let them go. In such cases the believing husband or wife is no longer bound to the other, for God has called you to live in peace). Don't you wives realize that your husbands might be saved because of you? And don't you husbands realize that your wives might be saved because of you?
  2. Hi, DawnBe careful when deciding whether or not to stay involved with your boyfriend. Muslim scripture teaches: "Good women are obedient.... As for those whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them." (Koran 4:24) I used to play with two brothers when I was a kid. There dad was a Muslim and I think their mom was a Buddhist. At least one of the brothers used to get beat very badly by their dad and the parents ended up getting divorced because of abuse issues. The boy ended up being abused even worse after the divorce, though. A lot of abusers don't abuse while dating, many start abusing after the honeymoon or during the first pregnancy of the marriage. One of the common red flags of potential abusers is trying to separate you from family or friends, so that you will be isolated as the relationship goes forward. They also call constantly to try to know what you are doing and who you are around. So you have amazing parents, you have had an amazing relationship with your parents, yet now you have a rocky relationship with them because of this relationship? Maybe your parents are just concerned for you and your wellbeing. I hope you consider these things and pray to God about helping you to discern what you should do. Can you link to a source for your quran quote. I am not finding anything like that in 4:24. Hi gdemoss, sorry to all who read it, I accidently put the wrong verse for it at first, I meant 4:34 instead of 4:24.

  7. Mormonism teaches something similar to what Eve was tempted with, false claims to be able to become a god. http://www.utlm.org/onlineresources/mormonshopetobecomegods.htm A lot of sources cite Joseph Smith and some other early Mormons as freemasons. I hope the Mormons wake up spiritually and realize who the founder of their religion was. Genesis 3:5

  11. The salt keeping the books fresh reminds me of Matthew 5:13 Matthew 5:13-14 Ye are the salt of the earth:but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. The lady becoming blind physically so that she could see spiritually reminds me of how the Apostle Paul awakened spiritually. Here's a link to a short Bible study on that http://www.keyway.ca/htm2009/20090429.htm I don't know why you felt nervous as God was destroying satan at the end. God always wins.
  12. You are welcome, sorry for the late reply.
  13. The Holy Bible is a life guide. Ephesians 4:3-32 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ has also forgiven you. James 1:19-21 This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.
  14. Hi, JTC if you are able to email, then I know of a way you can reach out to people. There is a Christian pen pal website where you can connect with Christians and non-Christians who are interested in Christianity. Some on the site are mature Christians who want extra fellowship. Some are new Christians who need help or advice. Some are non Christians who are open to Christianity. If you have any interest in it, you can look through people's comments about themselves on the site and see if there is anyone you can help. If you want to help others maybe having email pen pals could be a starting point. On the pen pal site you can find pen pals by searching by age and gender or by clicking on part of a map to see all of the people who have have signed up from those areas. Some people on there only want to email, others are interested in sending letters. Reading their description on what they are looking for in a pen pal should help you pick one that is right for you and that you can be of help to. It is an English language site, but not all the people on there have it as their first language. If you are interested here is the websitehttp://christianpenpals.com/

  23. Hi, Atwood. A flash mob is a group of people who plan to get together to put on some type of performance or engage in some type of group activity in a public area. The group doing the flash mob doesn't tell the people not participating what is going to happen. So, all of a sudden people will start dancing or singing and it is a surprise to the people who are not participants. The people doing this flash mob are Christian and that is why they are using this flash mob for a Christian purpose.
