Hi All Yes Joel Richardson's material is excellent indeed. I would just like to add one little aspect. The revived Roman Empire should actually be called the revised empire. Daniel's image / statue has two legs, the western empire and the eastern empire, both are the then Roman Empire. If you look at a map of the old Roman Empire it includes Turkey and the northern parts of Iran, which are north of Israel. So its more acurate to say that the antichrist will come from one of the nations of revised Rome. This will most probably be Turkey, which is in line for EU membership now. Hullo, Just some thoughts. This speaks to me of the judgements in Isaiah 5:20 and surrounding, which relate to the renewal of Zion and coming judgements. vs20 "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put light for dark and dark for light, bitter for seet and sweet for bitter...woe to those who are wise in their own eyes" This portion of scripture relates to modern day humanism and the rejection of Gods absolutes. It also refers to neutrality, which is a cuse. Jesus says, if you are not with me and for me you are against me. Today there is immense pressure to overturn Gods ways. It also speaks of pride and arrogance of the world being wise in its own eyes. James says, God gives grace to the humble and resists the proud (or wise in own eyes) I wish I also had dreams, at least that I could remeber! Cheers, Shalom Joel

Hi Memorykeeper One view is that the great apostacy refers to the rapture of the church. The original terms used imply this. "the great apostacy" can also be interpreted "the great departure" It is talking about the definate article and not some general thing. But the context seems to imply a very large falling away from the faith. This is also confirmed by many other end time verses. I wrote a piece on the great apostacy edition 7 on my website at www.thepropheticscroll.org I have also spoken about it in the message to the seven churches edition 11 Either way, there will be a big departure and a big falling away from the faith. The point is simply that this would be no different to any other time if all the other factors / prophecies were not in play as well. there is a huge dove-tailing of many prophecies all being fulfilled together. The problem with the "rubbish" story is that it tends to place you in the end-time scoffers category. "These are they that scoff at the coming of the Lord story saying where is the hope of His coming, all things will carry on as normal" Besides, this or that prophecy, the command of God is to look for his coming. there is a great urgency in the hearts of many that can feel it now. Hi Exact time lines are impossible to determine, but the most probable scenario is this: The nations of the world unite against Israel and Jerusalem. This could be (note could be) if Israel takes a shot at Iran as well as the so-called settlements issue. The wars of Ezekeil 38 39 and Is17 (Russian invasion of Israel and destruction of Damascus) are still ahead and both could be nuclear. Gaza still has further to go in terms of conflict. Hi all We have some very interesting developments on the go with Iran and it's nuclear aspirations. The problem is that Ahmedinejad believes that he has a divine calling to prepares the way for the Muslim Mahdi / messiah. Part of this cleansing / preparing the world means to rid the world of the Zionist state. Where have we heard that before!!! He said in a meeting with students some time ago "The most beautiful thing is to kill and be killed". His mother is a descendant of Mohammad He said a few days ago in the UN "I'm proud to deny the Holocaust" Isn't it interesting that the UN or a new form of it will lead the world to another Holocaust as the world stands against Israel. Isn't it interesting that Obama want to reduces nukes and Ahmedinejad want to get them. We could be in the early stages of the first nuclear war since 1948!
