Could someone please tell me if numerology is forbidden to us? I have been unable to find any clear scripture on the subject.

rollinThunder, thank you for that link, being new around here I hadn't had a chance to read it. I am sure that I have missed a lot of good posts. I too listen to and read Hal Lindsey,also I watch Jack Van Impe. I have learn3ed much from both of these men. However, I do find myself in disagreement with all three of you on your conviction of the belief in the pre-trib rapture. I so do wish that I could agree with you; what a wonderful blessing that must be;but, I have studied all sides of this issue and I cannot make a definitive arquement for any of the rapture scenerinos. I find alack of scriture reference for all three theories to be the case. I also have found scripture to support all three theories to some degree.

If Saddam fulfills his plans to blow up the oil wells and dams,then the world will be plunged into another crisis instantly. I can envision Russia and Arab states,along with the EU trying to take Israels oil( much info on this at Zion Oil and Gas). Perhaps this is where Solanas' peace keeping skills come into play for we are told that the AC makes a peace plan between Israel and many nations, not just Palestine. I agree with you on Ezekial 38 being a two phased war. I do not see America playing a role in end time prophecy, as the only remaining super power I believe that we must fall in order for the AC to rise.

It's just amazing how everything is starting to play out in these last days.

Israel has had these terrorist attacks going on for years. Those poor people can't even go to the grocery store without fear for their lives,and they have never found a way to stop it. How do you stop someone who is willing to die for his cause and who believes that he is doing his God a favor by killing infidels? Israel is so tiny compared to our country, what possible chance do we have of stopping them. Yet, praise God, we are getting some of the cells slowly but surely. We must prepare4 the best we can with medicle supplies, stored food etc. But mostly, we must trust God and stay in prayer.

None of us knows what the future holds for ourselves except that which is revealed in the word of God. We are told that god has not given us a spirit of fear therefore we trust in our saviour. But, also our bodies are the temple of the Lord. We must take care of them and not do stupid things with them. So by all means take what ever precautions comfort you. If buying duct tape and plastic sheeting comfort you and make you feel safer there is no harm done. We are living in perilous times and I believe that God has a job for each and every one of us. If you are being woke up in the middle of the night perhaps God wants you to study his word or to pray.

I too kind of jumped up and took notice when Bush went against Israel. I always thought that it was in our nations best interest to have a democracy in the middle east, and as a christian I just would never want to go against Israel. You could be right Rolling Thunder it just might be a sign from God. The space shuttle was as much a symbol of our country just like the twin towers were. Im just afraid that if it was a sign it may not bode well for us. And know, I had never noticed that all of the Bushes attended different churches. Doesnt that seem a little unusual?

I once heard a theory about aliens being demons and that satan might use this as an explanation for the disappearances after the rapture, kind of like the aliens got them.

He most definetly is coming for his bride but not for awhile yet. I believe in a pre-wrath rapture so I believe that we still have alot of horrible things to live through and hopefully many souls to help save all to the glory of our Heavenly Father.

N. Korea announced today that in complete defiance of the United Nations it has restarted its nuclear reactors. I think we all need to be in pray. This just does not look good for our future. How can we possibly fight a war on so many different fronts? We now have the war on terrorism, the fast approaching war with Iraq,( from all that I have read, it seems that we should expect war around the end of this month), our homeland to worry about with sleeper cells numbering in the thousands, and now N. Korea,an extremely major threat to deal with. Seems as if the red horse of the Apocalypse is galloping at full speed.
