  1. PATrobas, certainly that was food for thought. Praise the Lord for providing us spiritual bread. You know I have met many people who believe in the Lord & even in Jesus & His finished work on the Cross. I do not judge their salvation. I have seen the Spirit of the Lord mature these people in Christ. They get teaching BUT I have found they do not personally read the Bible. Spoon fed Toddlers not those who can go & get a meal for themselves by reading His Word daily. I am no Legalist but we eat bread or food daily. I have tried to encourage them to pick up a bible & read, start with the gospels & go onto Acts, read a psalm. Has not yet worked. There is some blockage here & I just pray for them to be given the desire & ability by our Heavenly Father to pick up their bibles & read His word. They are capable, they are literate. Lord once gain I ask remove the hindrances to all who are Yours but do not read their bibles for themselves, give them a hunger for Your Spiritual Bread, amen.
  2. There is so much in this verse we can learn. God is looking for those who are His (called by my name) to be HUMBLE. Jesus was Humble. Being Humble is so important, it is the opposite of Pride. After becoming Humble it then sets out a few things, Prayer, Seeking the Face of God & Turning from our Wicked Ways. God doesn't just say recognise you are in Trouble & I will fix it for you. There are some criteria for Believers to work on. Note God not only Heals the Land in response to when His Criteria here is met, He also forgives the Sin of the people in the Land. Our sins play a role in how our land got the way it did in the first place. Lord reveal to EACH Believer their pride issues, their arrogance, their sins, the things that keep us from being Humble before you & the things that keep us from Your presence. Help us to pray according to Your will, to pray in a way that will bring about Your solution to the many Ills we see in our Nations around the world. Help us to Seek Your Face with sincere hearts. Help us to recognise our sins & give them up, turn them over to You to help us be rid of them. And enable us as Saved Believers to encourage one another to follow Your ways in our lives, to love each other, to pray for each other. As a Body, a group of Believers we have much more success in Living out our Lives for You on this earth. Give us Godly Fellowship, I ask in Jesus Name. And as we the Body of Christ do this I pray You Lord will Turn things around in our Nations around this world so that our Land is healed from the evil, the corruption, the wickedness that has done so much damage & destruction. Finally I hold up the young generations that have been taught so much falsehood & not allowed to learn about Jesus, Father in Heaven enable the Truth & Your Gospel to reach them, amen.
  3. So thankful that the Lord has enabled us to be reconciled through Christ so we can be forgiven & given entry into Heaven to live with the Lord forever for eternity. I just hope that I do live in such a way that reflects our Heavenly Father to those around us. I keep praying He will continue to make me more & more like Jesus. Looking forward to going to be with the Father when He calls me home. Lord please enable Your children to edify one another in Your Truth, to encourage each other here on this earth. Let us learn to Love one another as Jesus Loved so that others can see we are Your disciples. I pray for good conversations that edify those we speak to, a heart & mind that follows the guidance & direction of Your Spirit Lord, amen.
  4. LK 7:36 Now one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, so he went to the Pharisee's house and reclined at the table. 37 When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, 38 and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. LK 7:39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is--that she is a sinner." LK 7:40 Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you." "Tell me, teacher," he said. LK 7:41 "Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?" LK 7:43 Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled." "You have judged correctly," Jesus said. LK 7:44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven--for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."
  5. Absoutely and when Jesus comes what will he find us doing? That is a thought for today. Will we be obeying God or acting in a worldly manner. I hope to be found in obedience.
