  1. you misunderstood what I what trying to relate... God as perfect- judges us according to His Word thus there must be responsibility on our part to be able to arrive as such to an understanding of that Word...
  2. One more thought- if this you claim is true how is it The Perfect Being God will judge all men accordingly? John 12:48 (KJV) [48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
  3. Whenever I hear a brother or sister suggest my righteousness be found in my own effort as though my works are reliable unto God ... as if foundational of myself, past the regeneration, to why I may enter into the presence of The Father (simply NO!) 1 John 1:10 (KJV) [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. They have simply lowered the bar of righteousness so they themselves can feel accomplished in their own effort...
  4. There is a definitive way to interpret Scripture thru study... it is called hermeneutics and it is designed to extract intended meaning from written material... It has done wonders for me in my pursuit of God through His Word... A simple reality: How intense do think God 'IS'? Then how intense is His Word that comes forth from Him? Or better yet why the seal of add or take away if thing itself is not complete?
  5. We must always evaluate the spirit of a thing... we are either leading and encouraging others to the truth or we are not... it is no difficult thing to understand what spirit it is when given this litmus! Of course, we are in a place darkness and evil BUT we are to be light leading to truth not condemnation for who and where they are... I believe most know there is something very wrong here and condemning them for who and where they are? Christ never so instructed us to do so... John 3:17 (KJV) [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. We don't have to condemn anyone it is built within their practice...
  6. My contention to any of this type of thinking is that God has called us to reason with Him: Isaiah 1:18 (KJV) [18] Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. [19] If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: [20] But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Just because the work is at times overwhelming... we are to continue in it because it is obedience... remembering that it is the purpose of the devil to hide God's Truth and that means we must continue with God in understanding His Word... The Word will support your obedience by opening it unto your understanding: 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) [15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. In this wonderful passage we are instructed to observe divisions within Scripture to properly glean the Words intention in directing of life, mind and eternity...
  7. God has covered this area of thought in His Word: 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) [5] Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; The obedience of Christ is His creative Word also His written Word... we certainly have enough to deal with in the 'IS' of this place and not dreaming up additional that may or may not be true - because it is not found in God's Word...
  8. I'm sellin my pic for only peanuts
  9. It is not we but God Who will do this removal: Isaiah 65:17 (KJV) [17] For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 1 Corinthians 13:8 (KJV) [8] Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. Revelation 21:1-5 (KJV) [1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. [4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. The physical removal by fire will occur at the Great White Throne: Revelation 20:11 (KJV) [11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. the actual total of knowledge of first creation and all it entails will not be removed till the presentation of the new heaven and earth when God removes all former things of knowledge Revelation 21:4 the fulfillment of the Isaiah & 1Cor. passages... The reason I believe God does this above is due to the fact that lie has never had place with God as it was an invention of Lucifer to allow for his rebellion... and all the lie touched is evidently hated by God: Jude 23 (KJV) [23] And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. It is why I believe Jesus made this statement: John 3:3 (KJV) [3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Mark 10:14 (KJV) [14] But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. [15] Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. The communication being- that which is of the eternity cannot be known till this is present first creation is removed: 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) [9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. This reality reduces us to that of little children with (absolutely no knowledge) of what the eternity will be like yet totally reliant by faith generated by God's Word saying it will be so... Point being with infinite possibilities of God that which was lie and that which was next to the lie can all be as though they never were and in no way can that be considered loss! Revealing the Father's Love for His children in this: 1 John 2:15 (KJV) [15] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
  10. Gen 13:1-6 13 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. 2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. 3 And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai; 4 Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD. 5 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. 6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. KJV It is interesting to note where Abraham did not separate from his family totally ... God separated them by abundance of animals. Gen 13:7-11 7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. 8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. 10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. KJV It is also a place to note that the best of the land Lot chose would become the worst of the land in the practice of sin... noting the two hearts Lot choosing what was best and Abraham wanting him to have that choice... Matthew 7:16 (KJV) [16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? [17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. [18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. [20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. God sums up the whole of His Word by love for Him foremost then thy neighbor as thyself... We see this in Abraham toward Lot... by having the whole council of God (completed canon of Scripture) we are even able to see deeply into the realities that exist...
  11. This sets you and I miles apart in the understanding of Scripture... That is why I comment further...
  12. Yes, the sciences/increase in knowledge are a means in which God has set His clock: Daniel 12:4 (KJV) [4] But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. It's like being in the Mall 'you are here'...
  13. in those depths God has 1 Corinthians 1:27 (KJV) [27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
  14. What that will entail is not knowable right now; which brings us into humility of inability and non-reliance of the things presently... Matthew 18:3 (KJV) [3] And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. [4] Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. [5] And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
  15. I have a simple understanding of letting God's Word form my thinking... as I wash my mind and heart with God's Word it forms reliance on things not of this world and a commitment to promises not yet realized! Take all -total- of all knowledge and remove it what do you have left?
  16. Connection to mind with soul: Proverbs 2:10, Proverbs 19:21, Proverbs 24:14 Psalms 139:14 (KJV) [14] I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Because knowledge is a matter of the mind, this proves that the mind is a part of the soul... Here in Psalms 13:2 (KJV) [2] How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? bearing concern in the soul. Lamentations 3:20 (KJV) [20] My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. Memory of the mind is found in the soul... Moving on to the Will: Job 7:15 (KJV) [15] So that my soul chooseth strangling, and death rather than my life. Choosing is an act of the will... Job 6:7 (KJV) [7] The things that my soul refused to touch are as my sorrowful meat. refusing to touch is an act of the will... 1 Chronicles 22:19 (KJV) [19] Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD. setting your soul to seek the Lord is an act of the will... Numbers 30:2 (KJV) [2] If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. [3] If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth; The term to bind oneself, which occurs eleven times in this chapter, binding one's self with his will and word as 'his soul'... Emotion is directly tied to soul: Emotions are complex and include feelings such as love, hate, joy, and sorrow. The Bible tells us that loving is an activity of the soul Song of Solomon 1:7 (KJV) [7] Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions? Psalms 42:1 (KJV) [1] (To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah.) As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. This indicates that the soul has an organ, a function, for emotions. Other verses, such as 2 Samuel 5:8, Psalm 107:18, and Ezekiel 36:5, reveal that the soul also harbors hate, loathing, and contempt. Joy is a great part of the emotion. Isaiah 61:10 (KJV) [10] I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. Psalms 86:4 (KJV) [4] Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. It is also listed in the fruit of The Spirit Galatians 5:22 (KJV) [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. The above verses from the Scriptures provide the basis for saying that the soul has three parts—the mind as the leading part, along with the will and the emotion. These are the most convincing verses to support this view, but they are not the only ones. If we examine the whole Scriptures, we can hardly find anything in the soul other than these three parts. These three parts encompass all the functions of the soul.
  17. With the world (first creation) cursed and the image of God ruined by sin... what is there to keep?
  18. well the verse I quoted for one 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV) [23] And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. [24] Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. <- this the halleluiah section... emotions are just chords from the heart interacting with the mind- a part of the soul (mind, will, emotion)... they can either be from flesh or inner man s/Spirit... this of course is in flesh as all OT were not regenerated Proverbs 9:10 (KJV) [10] The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. this is of the regeneration Acts 9:31 (KJV) [31] Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
  19. Brother, I believe in the tripart makeup of man as I have studied thus far the best fit for Biblical understanding... The Holy Spirit of God joins in the new birth He forms within us =spirit and forever we are joined with Him in existence s/Spirit of the inner man and one day body...
  20. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV) [23] And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. [24] Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. <- this the halleluiah section...
  21. When I read above @RV_Wizard I thought of the boys in Babylon and the fiery furnace... funny how we limit God to creation as if God were in submission to it... The Son said it best Mark 10:27 (KJV) [27] And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. So what is possible and impossible ? One must check with God!
  22. let's all vote on whisp of pooooochie becoming one ghost kitty ... nice ring...
