  1. Simply beautiful Isaiah. Thanks so much for putting this up. Very touching - Very inspiring. =)
  2. This is the live acoustic version of Peter Furler's song "Reach". It is absolutely beautiful. This song has helped me through so many "stormy seas". I could not help but share it. =)
  3. I totally forgot about his other prediction - I think most people did. But really, this seems like propaganda in its highest form..
  4. I thought about starting a new topic for the band '4Him.' Here is one of their more popular songs: The Message
  5. Not trying to add onto what has already been said, but this Scripture comes to mind: John 14:12 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
  6. John 15: 4-8 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
  7. You refer to others treating church as more important than prayer, fellowship, and/or devotions? Yes, i agree - And althought these do not make one a Christian, we must not forget - these are all fruits. And if we see that these fruits are not evident in someone's life, we must pray for that individual, not go around tearing them down.
  8. I suppose it is your motive behind the question as well as who you are asking.
  9. Ok - I see where you are going. Repentance is a heart issue. I have been there at times in life in which i would repent and automatically go back to the same sin the next day. But everytime time i go back and ask for forgiveness - and mean it - He forgives me. I do believe that there are certain sins that we can lay down and never pick up again. For instance, some may have been saved from terrible sins such as stealing ect. , and now that they are saved - they have never stolen any more. But all in all we do not inherit salvation, as you have stated, based on our good works - but His work. We do not inherit Heaven by our goodness, but through His perfection. When Jesus died on the cross He covered our sins - past, present, and future. But in closing to my reply - Repentance comes natural from a heart that has been quickened by the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit.
  10. I'm not sure what you mean by "fully repents." And - I do not believe Jesus repented of anything.
  11. Ok Gods_girl, i understand. Verbal "faith" is insufficient. We must not only SAY it, but we must also mean it - mean it to the point in where we repent (turn from serving sin; pursuing our lusts) and allow Him to claim us as children.
  12. God sends no one to Hell. We, in all actuality, send ourselves to Hell. Ref. to 2 Thess. 2:1-12
  13. Awesome! Actually, it was only until now that i have actually read this. All i can say is amen. True wisdom here. Thanks FresnoJoe!
  14. I read about that on Yahoo today. That is really interesting. Hmm.. i do believe this will slow down warnings concerning global warming too, other one. lol (well at least for a little while.)
