  1. Thank you for your thoughts! I appreciate you pointing this out to me, I will do further studying of the Word. Blessings Tim
  2. Eph 4:8-10 KJV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Hbr 12:2 KJV - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 1Peter 3: 18-22 KJV For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto [even] baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. Act 1:9-11 KJV - And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
  3. Hbr 9:11 NASB - But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; Hbr 9:12 NASB - and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:19-25 - For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, - saying, "THIS IS THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT WHICH GOD COMMANDED YOU." - And in the same way he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry with the blood. - And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. - Therefore it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. - For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; - nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own. Isa 5:14 KJV - Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. Jhn 10:7 KJV - Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. Jhn 10:9 KJV - I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
  4. Thanks all I will post the scriptures in a little bit! Thanks for pointing that out to me! Blessings Tim
  5. The reason the thief went to paradise is because Jesus hadnt yet ascended to heaven to cleanse heaven with his blood to make it clean again so people can enter in to heaven. When Jesus died He descended into paradise to preach to every soul that died but lived accordingly to the law to the best they knew how till Jesus could come and fulfill the law and die once for all mankind. Jesus led the people in paradise into heaven to fulfill the prophecy of how hell enlarged itself, Paradise is now hell a place of torment for those that reject the presence of God and the price Jesus paid for them on the cross. We as Christians enter into heaven because Jesus made the way, He is the door to heaven. I understand its hard to understand these things because they are only spiritually discerned, we cant figure them out in our mind it can only be explained by the Spirit and faith only!
  6. I agree with this wholeheartedly Thanks OldShep, I've really been praying over how to respond back to this thread after presenting biblical evidence, I just washed my hands of it after praying over why someone believes we dont go to heaven after dying. Thats like saying Jesus bled and suffered for noting and our faith is lost. Praise God I know that Jesus is on the right hand of God making intercession for me till I come home to meet Him in person. I am looking forward to that beautiful day and glorious day we enter into heaven and inherit the rest of our eternal rewards. Blessings Tim
  7. 2Cr 5:6 KJV - Therefore [we are] always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 2Cr 5:7 KJV - (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2Cr 5:8 KJV - We are confident, [i say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. To say we dont go to heaven when we die is to say Jesus died for noting, but Jesus died to give us access to heaven when we pass from this body. Paradise was only a temporary holding area for all those who followed after God from the beginning of time up till Jesus fulfilled His obedience on the cross. When He died He spent three days and three nights in the belly of the earth to bring them out and lead them to heaven...that fulfilled the prophetic word about hell enlarging itself. Another verse in the new testament speaks how He shall come back with those dead in Christ...meaning that they are asleep in the body but they are very much alive in the Spirit in the presence of Jesus in heaven. The exciting part comes when all the spirits of the dead in Christ shall be reunited with their bodies at the sounding of that great trumpet. Mat 12:40 KJV - For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Eph 4:9 KJV - (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? Eph 4:10 KJV - He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Isa 5:14 KJV - Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. 1Th 4:13-18 KJV - But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Blessings, Tim
  8. It reminds me of these verses in Revelation It puts it very well..... Rev 6:15 KJV - And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; Rev 6:16 KJV - And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
