  1. there was a law in the days of Ester that was to end the Jews, But God had already things in place. and there was another law made, that said the Jews could fight back. there was another battle a very big giant was laughing at the people who trusted in the Lord, God. All I see from this thread is gloom and doom for the Christians and the Church, the Church that Jesus our God has already said the gates of hell would not prevail against. to whom are we to fear. the world and it's law, a people that are against us. Matt 10:27-31 27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. KJV haven't you all heard: the Church the Body of Christ ain't going down, it's going up!!!!!!
  2. seeing that someone has quoted scripture ;that there is only one gospel, then there is only one gospel, that Gospel , may have more than one name, but it is one gospel. there is a strong teaching going on now pertaining to the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven , this false teaching states that the two kingdoms are two totally different kingdoms and that those that are close enough and blessed more than others that don't see them as two different places can experience one of the two here on earth. and I wish I knew of these verses when I was trying to discuss with the teacher of this false teaching in this area, but this one set of verses should set a lot straight on this matter. Jesus refers to the kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven as the same place: Matt 19:23-25 23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? KJV
  3. you had two people in the Old Testament : the Jew and the Gentile. the believer and unbeliever. the people of God and the enemies of God. salvation was offered to the Jews first then to the Gentiles.
  4. the manuscript that were used for the KJV are still about, there were just replaced by many translators when the Dead sea scrolls were found in the 1950ish (I think the date is close). the problem with the Dead Sea scrolls which most agree predate the Majority text(JKV) were in such poor condition, when they roll them out to read them, some would crumble real bad. The first group the dead Sea scrolls were offer to for translation, they deemed the scrolls worthless because of their poor condition. the ones that finally bought the dead Sea scrolls had to use other text (manuscripts) to fill in the missing parts, and they used the Latin Vulgate (the Catholic text) and the minority text (which many scholars deemed as corrupt text). All your modern day translations since around 1955 are from the Dead Sea scrolls, the NIV, the NASB, The Living Bible, the message and all others yes even the NKJV, However there is one that hit the book shelves in 1999 ( I think the date is the correct date) the American King James, the translators claims to use only the KJV for their version of the English Version of the Holy Bible, while they updated from Old English to modern English, But I have Not seen a version of the American King James version. the Problem I see is: that the Modern day versions do not agree with The Authorized King James Version, that was the Bible preserved and used for around 400 years. If they all agreed they would be no problem But all the Modern day versions, all from the Dead Sea scrolls don't even agree with each other. so the Modern day versions has caused more division (wrong ) in the Church than they have good. many false statements and or statements causing misunderstandings has been thrown out against the 400 year Holy Bible in English, in order to convince people to lay down the one Bible that was Authorized by our fore fathers as the Bible to use for the Christian faith and religion. example King James Himself had no part in the actual translations, He was the King that had to give scholars permission to translate another English Bible. I have already read in this thread that you can't have a true translation from one language to another, we lose some things when we translate, and that we must refer back to the originals: two lies in this statement. First we do not have the originals Hebrew or Greek. and they will say we have to refer back to the Greek for the New Testament for we lose stuff when we translate, But Matthew was a Hebrew among Hebrew (I wonder what Language he spoke or wrote in,) for his Gospel which was later translated to Greek . so if we have to go back to the greek because of translational problems, but yet the Greek manuscripts are a translation themselves, Jesus Spoke other languages within scripture which was translated within scripture, so if a translation can't be true then we can't have a true version in English. the problem with All translations cantains errors is this. The Bible is the Final Authority of our Christian religion, so we are suppose to have the One True Religion, but the Word we learn of this faith from, is not true itself?????? For Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. if all English Version has errors in the final authority of our faith then Who determines what is true and what is error, and if we have to have this done don't the one who determines what parts of scripture is true and what parts are false, become our final authority instead of the Holy Bible, the Inspired Word from God?
  5. John 10:10 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. KJV some miss out on life because of their unbelief and some miss out of life abundantly because of their unbelief. Jesus was the healer of all healers but could NOT heal some for their unbelief. Mark 6:5-6 5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. KJV Matt 13:58 58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. KJV
  6. Jesus fed the multitude for He didn't want them to faint before they got home. The Author and Finisher of our Faith. the Source of our salvation and our journey (our walk with Him) as Jude quoted we are presented to the One that can keep us from falling, what powers can separate us from the Love of God, God Chastises those He loves not Cast Out, I will in no wise cast out, Father I have Not lost one that you have given me except the son of perdition. He will leave the 99 and seek for the wandering lamb. While I was yet a sinner (meaning there is a time that we are not seen as sinners) it is the Blood of Christ that washes away sin, not sin that washes away the Blood of Christ . Heb 9:22-26 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. KJV Heb 9:11-12 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. KJV My salvation is eternal redemption, Meaning I couldn't do it myself. I had to have a redeemer( a kinsman redeemer ) who paid my price for me, If I do anything after that I don't take the credit. I don't work for my salvation but work out my salvation I pray a lot of folks get a hold of that, to work out is not to work for! My salvation is a covenant(promised By and From God, believe and Have everlasting life. My salvation is base strictly on His grace and His promise, not on anything I do, All debts are released and all things are restored in the year of JUbilee. BY The One who knew I had no way Unless He stepped up for me, Thank you Lord My redeemer. my all my Lord and my God!
  7. well this a subject that has been going on longer than you or I have been alive sadly to say, and it won't be solved here. we are saved by grace through faith. and not that of works, so I am not in contradiction of any scripture, whosoever believeth in Jesus, will not be condemned, but if we deny Jesus we are condemned already. I don't have to do anything to bust hell wide open, But not to bust it wide open I must Believe that God sent His son. By Faith I believe what Christ, the Son of God did for me is good enough for my salvation. He is my salvation, the Author and finisher, My redeemer. My Lord and My God. those in Christ can not sin, God has put His incorruptible Seed in me. If I have any part of obtaining or keeping me saved, by what I can do, then I become my salvation. you say we have to overcome and won't be able to know that we have until the end. But Christ, My Lord and My Saviour, says I can't do anything unless I am already His, attached to the true vine. those that are asleep in Christ (dead) ARE already JUDGED TO BE those in Christ!,. I believe Christ and His works are why I will get in, you believe Christ and your works are why you will get in, where is your Faith ? or who is your faith in? Christ alone, no other way to the Father but By Christ. or Christ and you ?? I trust Christ if that is contradicting scriptures in your eyes and understanding ( lean not unto your own understanding) Then You who shouldn't judge, go ahead and judge. according to you a atheist who loves their family and I know atheist that love their family as well or more than some Christians do then they will be there and some Christians won't be there, but that is the wrong Gospel, my friend, it is through my faith in Christ not my works for Him.
  8. John 14:13-14 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. KJV I was raised to believe that If A person was sick that this was the will of God for that person to be sick. then upon my studying of the word, I came across scriptures such as these above, and James 5 anoint with oil and pray and the sick will be healed. so I really struggle with the Will of God, SO I went to the Father in prayer, and asked is it your will that any be sick, the response I got was. scriptures says we being evil know how to give gifts to our children, so God Said even with you being evil, which would of your children would you will cancer on?
  9. Bible2 : salvation is eternal life there is no one that is saved, that will not be saved, I thes. 4 says: I would not have you to be ignorant concerning those that are asleep in Christ, they are dead, they haven't made it to the judgement yet but yet they are referred to as those that are in Christ, your understanding of salvation is contradicting what Jesus said I WILL IN NO WISE CAST YOU OUT and I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. our works are tried by fire, the good work brought forth for a reward the bad works are burnt up as for loss, But the Man Himself is saved, regardless of his works and how much are good and bad. the potter forms a vessel of honour and a vessel of dishonor, this is from the same lump of clay, the vessel of flesh for dishonor and the vessel of Spirit for Honour. it is the same lump the same vessel, the same person, flesh is sin, but God puts His incorruptible seed in His children, incorruptible, Jesus paid all my sin debt, He paid my debt just to see me burn in hell later, Come on. He brought me into His fold, just to stand back and watch me walk into the arms of satan again. come on. really that's what you think Jesus did on the cross, He just died for the righteous, the strong ones that could over come the world. well see scripture says those that over come are those that believe in Jesus. by faith we overcome, by grace through faith we obtain salvation. are we really to believe that the works Jesus did for us aren't good enough and there is something left undone that we must do? 1 John 5:5 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? KJV
  10. well one can lose all their riches and say well I am still blessed I have my family and my health. but Job suffered all, his children died, his riches were taken and good health was gone.
  11. then I guess Samson was a sinner however by one of his sins of having long hair, he was blessed by God for that sin, I think maybe Christians should quit casting stones at others, or quit pointing out the splinters in others eye and worry about our self a little more! I think locks would Flop wouldn't they? Openly Curious . but then again I never knew God to bless a sin? Judg 16:17-19 17 That he told her all his heart, and said unto her. There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. 18 And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand. 19 And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him. KJV
  12. the bible says that it is a shame for man to have long hair, but where does it define the length of hair for it to be long, In my younger days my hair hung on my shoulder some, But I went to visit my Great grandmother one day she had always kept her hair up in a ball, they were fixes her hair this day. her hair was down below her knees, now that is Long hair, made my shoulder length hair look really short. so please from scripture someone define long hair. not what you been told or what you believe but from scriptures define long hair???? one of the greatest testimonies I have ever heard , is from a young man with hair down to his waist, He got behind the pulpit and said "I thank my God, that he is a God that can love someone lwith long hair like me" and He sat down.
  13. Butero: the insults are not called for. I have no tattoos and my hair is not on my shoulders, here is your Quote: now some times we have to stop and listen to what we are being taught and what we are saying; now you saying that being cleaned shaved is NOT rounding your beard. so let me ask you this. how can I not round (mar) my beard if I have no beard to not round. . God sees the heart not the outer appearance.
  14. Jesus read from scripture: Luke 4:16-17 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, KJV
  15. the same set of verses in the Old Testament that speaks of not having markings on your body, speaks of not cutting the corners of the beard. Some clean shaven Preachers preach against tattoos. sorta comical if it weren't so sad! Lev 19:27-28 27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. 28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord. KJV
