Marilyn, Thanks for responding and giving me some advice. You are right he is only interested in working on cars. Yet I know that he needs an education to get his ASE certified to make the decent money at it. I have talked with his about job corp and he totally ignores me about it because I live in MT and the only mechanics that job corp offers here is for the big rigs and he is not interested in that and I have done research on line and the closest job corp that does offer it is either south or back east and with being a single mom I barely can survive as it is. I work 40+ hrs a week and my ex.. he is on ssdi and doesn't help at all.. and remarried with another kid.. so I don't know how I would even move if I had to or send him any where.. my son stays up all night playing games or talking to girls so when I get up he is just going to bed. I am working with him on getting his license so he can drive and get a job. which with one day off it's hard to do when your so tired. God gives me strength when I need it the most and always came thru for us. It's time to get ready for work. I have a 16 yr old son who fights me every step of the way and doesn't want to attend school he is a sophomore.. should be if he will ever go.. His dad is no help at all. he said that if he doesn't come in for school then he doesn't need to be in school.. I guess what I need is more of a prayer team to surround my son and for guidance for a christian gentleman to come into his life to help him figure things out.. If you have to move this to another section that will be fine with me.. I am not sure where to place this.. I really could use some prayer and advice on what to do with him. Pearl, I totally understand where your coming from..Yet I have found strength and encouragement in my quiet time that I spend in singing Praise and Worship songs to the Lord and giving Him all my praises.. I am Thankful for the Blood of Jesus wash over all my mistakes and cleaning me up into a Godly lady for Him.. Stay Faithful and watch this video call I am AWESOME by Anima series.. It's not my mom.. it's grandma.. and Yes she has insurance.. and yes I know how much it's going to cost.. .

Thanks everybody for the advice.. Let me tell you what's happening... I have been taking care of my Grandma for the past 4 yrs.. 7 days a week.. she just turned 100.. She is still pretty much with it.. sometimes she forgets things which is normal we all forget things.. I have been thinking Assisted Living for her since I have 2 teenagers and can't always be there for her when she needs me. Yet she has told me several times that she wants to die in her apt.. so I am not sure what to do.. I want to honor her wishes.. yet at the same time I know she needs someone to watch over her.. I would take her in but I can't because I am in an apt.. I sometimes think about getting into a house so I can care for her better.. yet I don't have an income so it makes it very difficult to do anything.. Prayer are very much needed for direction.. I feel a change is coming yet I am not sure which direction to go with her.. I really appreciate the advice and prayers that are lifting us up..giving me strength every day to take care of her.. I know without the Lord's help I wouldn't have lasted this long.. and I am very thankful that she is the one that showed me Jesus.. Take Care!! Be a Blessing!1

In this world we have people always putting bad language on things: I have seen this cute doll but it had bad language and abuse.. I was thinking the doll is a cute idea..How about if I make a doll and put a positive saying or a bible verse on it.. If anyone can give me some ideas as for what verse would make the biggest impression.. I would sure love to hear your input on this.. Can't wait to see what everybody comes up with.. I have been reading through the Psalms and today's verse left me with some questions.. Psalms 16:11 You have made known to me the path of life, You will fill me with joy in Your presence with eternal pleasures at your right hand. I am trying to figure out what type of eternal pleasures are being talked about here.. I know that there was a purpose for Song of Solomon to be written. Was is strictly for us while we are on earth or is there going to be some in Heaven just not ugly like we have it here on earth.. I then think of eternal pleasures as being part of the fruits of the spirit..Joy, Happiness, peace, patience..etc.. Which is it or both? Any help would be appreciated..

On the topic of Halloween; I have to ask how many people stayed home in the dark and not hand out candy or tracts..HUH..Is this what Jesus would do? I think what Jesus would do is He would go out and heal or feed people and bring others to Him. So staying in a dark house watching garbage on t.v. is that what Jesus would want? or would He want you to plant a seed for Him and bring people to Him. I think of the small town I live in and the many churches that are here and the on church that did anything for the kids was the Jehovah Witnesses.. and I think of how sad it is that the christian churches don't do anything for the kids..instead they stay at home and hide..When will people realize that WE need to stand up for the Lord and make a bold statement instead of hiding.. Why aren't the christians bold enough to go door to door to bring people to Christ? Because satan has planted fear into our lives and we need to tell him to take a hike and never come back because we are washed by the blood of the lamb. What would Jesus DO? Do we want our kids to follow satan or God?? For my house we will serve the Lord! To my family it's a day to get candy from the neighbors as well as hand out invitations to attend church.. As for the dressing up: tell me when you were a kid did you not play dress up in some form or another.. I think at one time all have one time or another...it's part of being a kid..don't deprive your kids of something that you had when you were a kid..Have fun with them and enjoy them and share the Lord with your neighborhood.. The most important part is to spend time with family..and sharing the Word of God with others.. Many will argue with me but ask yourself: What Would Jesus Do? Would He hide in fear of what people thought? No, He would look for ways to bring others to Him.. Would He watch garbage on the t.v. to pass the time? No, He would be praying for the lost, hurt and others. Would He condemn people to being out getting candy and planting seeds for Him? No, He would encourage them and bless them for sharing His love with others.. I can spend all day with questions on this.. I won't tho because it's time for us Christians not to run and hide but to stand up and go preach the Word of God to the World and not be ashamed.

Hey Thomas, I was trying to make it an encouragement for others to keep moving forward in life..to keep trying whether we fail or not. I was using the first part as an example.. Because we have all tried and failed one time or another which is fine. What we need to do is to keep trying and not give up and in the Christian walk we ask for forgiveness and He forgives us..and helps us to move closer into a relationship with Him. It could be that there was a group of scientists doing a study on beer with bears.. In which the scientists would be billed for all the damage done.. Unless they decided to put it back on the taxpayers... then that would explain why the price of things are going sky high.. Just a thought!!
