  1. @the_patriot2012 thanks - I have increased the font. I don't know how that happened. Still with @the_patriot2012, thanks that answer was from a loving heart - not to cause others to stumble. Coming from a family who has issues with alcohol, I've personally never understood the role of alcohol in our society. And @ Lady C - I get that! Thanks.
  2. The first miracle Jesus did at the Wedding in Canaan was to make good wine. Jesus was called a drunk and a glutton (Matthew 11:19) and yet He warns against drunkenness ( Luke 21:34) The question is can Christians drink alcohol and still operate in the power of the Holy Spirit? And why was Jesus called a drunk?
  3. Definition of a disciple: a disciple is a follower, one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another. I interpret that as the full process of seeing people come to faith in Christ, grow in Him, and then being equipped to go back and help others repeat this process. And if they are not disciples how can they be taught to live out Christian beliefs?
  4. QUESTION: Why do Christians get shocked when unbelievers act like UNBELIEVERS? Isn't that their nature and are they not supposed to act like that? Why do we expect them to keep the Ten Commandments, walk in the Spirit, or glorify Jesus? Doesn't the Bible says in 2 John 1:9-11 ESV say, "Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son." Didn't “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and Godliness.” - 2 Peter 1:3? So why do we expect them to have the power to resist sin if they don't know the Lord Jesus Christ? Matthew 5:16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Should we be legislating Christian morals on the non-elect? Who are we to judge outsiders – 1 Cor 5:12? Isn't the the Christian mandate from the Lord Jesus Christ to become the vessel that God uses to touch other's lives not not make them act like Christians i.e. have a form of godliness? And isn't the Bible written for non Believers?
  5. Singing to Monarchy Oh, his eyes, his eyes, make the stars look like they're not shining His hair, his hair, falls perfectly without him trying He's so handsome, and I tell him every day Yeah, I know, I know, when I compliment him he won't believe me And it's so, it's so, sad to think that he don't see what I see But every time he asks me do I look ok, I say
  6. I this "When I get on my high horse, I usually find Jesus rides off on his donkey"
  7. But praying is talking to God dear! The same way you are talking to us you can talk to God. Tell God the same thing you told us! God is not shocked by your situation. Just come as you are and enter into His presence. And I totally agree with Monarchy, reading the Bible first helps!
  8. Anything that is not in the Bible is not of God and that which is not of God is of... It's like The Book of Judas and believe me more of this stuff is going to come out! People's hearts are being tested. Are you with yourself or with God?
