Seems to me if the church had just followed the law in the first place, there would have been no need for them to close. Just saying.....

Oh well now that is easy. It is whatever party I belong to at the time. That is the party that is more right.

Very well. My opinion is. Neither party is a "Godly" party. You do not know what goes on behind doors. I have always voted for the person and not the party. I might say more on this topic later depending where the thread goes.

I think it would be best for my over all emotional well being if I skip this topic.

After much thought on this matter. I think it would be best for me to just give the $10.00 + another $10.00 = $20.00 to the church's charity jar that goes to help someone in the church who is in need. While I do have talents gifted to me by God, they do not seem to ones that would raise money. Which I am okay with. As we are not gifted with the same talents. So for me, this seems to be the right thing to do at this time.

So....I did not get a call back when they said they were calling people. Yesterday I got a call asking me if I was still interesting in the job I applied for. I said yes! Today I went in and fill out paper work. I start Monday!

So I rolled this around in my head for a bit like I do and I can't figure out what went wrong. The guy was impressed with my experience. Told me the position he would have me working. (I had applied for 2 positions because I have had experience in both jobs that were listed) Then he proceeded to tell me about the job. Hrs,pay,that sort of thing. All of this lead me to think that this was very hopeful. So what happen? I do not know. I feel kind of mad about it.

That is very helpful advice, but the thing is is that my mother dose not like to cook. She makes the easiest thing possible and is not going to put any real effort into it. For example she made banana pie with just banana pudding in a pie shell with no real bananas. So even if I said to her "well you need to make it this way" example cut up bananas ect ect. She is going to be like "well if you want that than you do it". LOL

I do not know where you all are with this topic but I am having kind of an issue. My mother can not cook. Well she can cook. But we don't want to eat it. She keeps making stuff and bringing it over to us to eat The food is bad and I end up tossing in out because no one will eat it. Then my mother will ask me if I like the pie, cake, soup or whatever. And I tell her it was fine. As I do not have the heart to tell her that we can not eat her cooking.

I don't want to be a bother. I dont think they would tell me anything anyway. Years ago if I wanted a job I just went out and got one. Now noone will hire me.

So my church did this last Sunday and I am not sure what to make of it. The sermon was on the 5 talents in in Matthew 25:14. So our pastor said that he has $2,000 dived up into 50s,20s, and 10s in envelopes. He said he will be passing these around. We were to pick one envelope. They were unmarked and you did not know what envelope had what amount. He said we are then suppose to come up with ways to double the money and give it back to a Christian based charity. He then gave out ideas such as using your money to print up t-shirts and sell them for the charity. Or holding a bake sell using your money to by stuff to make cakes for the bake sell. Then give the money to charity. He also said if you yourself are going through a bad time right now and you could use this money. Then keep it and use it for what you need it for. So the envelope I got had $10.00 in it. And I am like how in the world do I double $10.00? So I am left thinking about this. But what do you all think about this?

So I called on Friday like he said to do. He told me he would be calling people on Monday around noon. I waited all day. No call. I have waited all day today. Still as of now, no call. I don't understand any of this. I have over 15 years of experience for the job. He said he was impressed with my experience and it sounded so hopeful. What gives? I do not know. Every interview has been like this. It seems my years of experience means nothing.(sigh) Maybe I should lie and say I do not know anything about this job? Maybe that would get me in?

I called today and he said he has been very busy this week and has not had time to make a decision yet. He said he will be calling the people he wants to come in on Monday around noontime. So back to wait and see.

I was told to call on Friday if I do not hear from them by then. Sounds like a good sign I guess. Them wanting me to call.

Being against the wall dose not mean you don't what to secure the boarder. There are more effective technology today that is used to help secure the boarder.
