most churches have special days for mother, father, ect.. it only serves to make some feel left out. as Paul says I'm afraid of you.. is this being overly sensitive? avoiding services on these days is my option.

is anyone else reading the latest book by jonathan cahn, The Book of Mysteries? have started in jan. and fins it very good spiritual help. am kinda new here at Worthy so just chiming in today.

Absent from the body, present with the Lord, that's my belief, hope, and joy. When we lose one so important in our lives it comforts so much to know they have the very best, while we wait out the rest of our walk. Tears help the healing a little, yet time seems to stop when the tie from this life to another has been broken. Just a little thought from one who has my beloved in heaven, while I ramble on down here.

Hello, I'm new on this forum too. I love Jesus because He first loved me, and that love came across so wonderful that it took my heart and changed me completely. Some very good posts on this thread, so I just dived in here to get started. I also nave a few questions for my fellow posters but that can wait till I learn more about the forum, and where to post.
