  1. It is Not simply eating that sustains physical life, but WHAT ONE EATS. If someone ate rat poison believing that it was salad dressing, would their belief guarantee them that they would feel no harm from the error?..If someone sincerely believes and accepts false doctrine as the truth, are they thereby guaranteed salvation because they were honest?.John 8:32. DO U KNOW THE TRUTH YET?
  2. Brethren, let us all read 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10. You could see that Jesus is going to take vengeance on them that know not God and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, there are only two kinds of people: those who have obeyed the gospel and those who haven’t. Have you obeyed the gospel? And what is gospel? 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: In these verse Paul began explains the gospel in the simplest terms. In verse one he states that he is getting ready to declare the gospel, verifying that it’s the message that the Christians at Corinth had already received. It’s the message on which they stood. It’s the message by which they were saved if they kept it in memory. Then Paul details the gospel. He says that the gospel is this: Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day. Paul said that all of this happened to Jesus according to the scriptures (referring to the hundred of Old Testament prophecies about Jesus Christ as the Messiah). So the gospel is “The Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus said He is going to take vengeance on everyone who hasn’t obeyed the gospel, but the gospel is His death burial and resurrection – an event in history. How in the world do you obey a historical event? And that is the question that everyone needs to be asking! Paul gives the answer to that question in the book of Romans. Romans 6:3-5 “Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the death by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: The gospel consists of Christ’s Crucifixion, His Burial and His Resurrection. First we must die to a life of sin. This re-enacts the crucifixion. Our wiliness to die to sin is repentance. It is turning away from the regular practice of sin. Repentance is making a conscious decision to turn your back on your sins and on the world. It is to turn toward the cross of Christ. We die to sin as Christ died on the cross; therefore, we are re-enacting His death on the cross. We crucify our old man of sin on the cross through our willingness to repent. Second, in baptism we re-enact Christ’s burial. Paul said in verse 3 that when we are baptized we are baptized into Christ’s death. So, we are re-enacting Christ burial in the tomb, but our burial is in a watery grave instead of a tomb. Paul said that we are baptized into Christ, verse 3, and we are buried with Him by baptism into death, verse 4. Baptism into Jesus Christ is where we are planted together with Him in the likeness of His death, verse 5. Finally, we re-enact the resurrection. Paul said that like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father even so we also should walk in newness of life, verse 4. When we are raised up out of that grave of baptism we are re-enacting the likeness of Christ’s resurrection. The great hope of every faithful Christian is to be resurrected unto eternal life. Paul makes a special mention of this fact in verse 5 by saying that we shall be in the likeness of His resurrection if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death. Brethren, here are life and death points. If we are not baptized we are NOT: 1. Put into Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:26-27) 2. Added to His body, the church (Acts 2:47; Col. 1:18) 3. Into His death (Rom. 6:3) 4. Buried with Him (Rom. 6:4) 5. Planted together in the likeness of His death (Rom. 6:5) 6. Raised up in the likeness of His resurrection (Rom. 6:5) 7. Raised to walk in newness of life (Rom. 6:4) 8. Obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ (2Thess. 1:6-10) 9. Forgiven of past sins (Acts 22:16) 10. Safe in the saving ark which is Jesus Christ (Eph. 5:23-25; Acts 2:47) God bless you all for your time...... Amen!
  3. Very soon a country called Ghana will be no more! Very soon a country called America will be no more!! Very soon a country called Iraq will be no more! Matthew 25:31-34, 41; 2 Thessalonians 1:8,9. Are you among the few trying to enter through the Narrow gate?
  4. The thief next to Jesus on the cross could not be baptized. He simply believed and asked Jesus to remember him when He came into His kingdom. Jesus answered "Today you will be with Me in Paradise" Baptism is not necessary at all unless God has put it on your heart to obey Him in this way. Paul only baptized one or two people. But he preached to the gentiles and many believed and were saved through His preaching and teaching. Jesus said that if your confess Him before men, He will confess you before His Father in heaven. So it is necessary that you confess your faith in Christ before others. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 If He is Lord of your life you desire to obey Him whether it be to confess Him or to be baptized. Believe means to trust in, adhere to and rely upon. It is not a passive word. Saving faith is an active faith. If you are asking this question God may be putting this step on your heart. It helps us to realize that God has buried the old sinful man and given you a new life when we go under water and come up. (Baptize means to dip to dye clothing.). Sinless Jesus was baptized as an example to us, endorsing that repentance is necessary to wash away our sins. Repentance is turning away from our sinful lifestyles and to Christ in faith, asking for mercy and help because we are unable to change ouselves in our own strength. A baby cannot repent. Ritual churches believe that the Holy Spirit comes into the baby when they are touched with blessed water and the word of God is spoken over them. Their excuse is that John the Baptist was filled with the Spirit in his mother's womb. However, we are not John the Baptist. In fact, he was the one who came preaching repentance and baptism. They also claim that whole households were baptized and that included babies. But there is no mention of any babies or young children living in those households. They are reading into it something that is not clearly stated in scripture. The important thing is that you obey whatever Christ is leading you to do. The first thing God led me to do was to repent, ask God to forgive me, receive that forgiveness because Jesus loves me, and to try to make restitution. Then God put it upon my heart to read the New Testament and psalms. A pastor one said that the first thing he had obeyed God in, when he was 6, was to pick up his clothes and clean his room. His mom had always kept after him to do that but this time he did it without being asked by her. He was asked by God. So it is different with everybody. But all do have to repent, trust in Jesus, and obey His promptings or voice so as to make Him Lord of our lives. Blessings, Willa Baptism is the commandment from Jesus Christ Himself (Mark 16:15-16; Matthew 28:19). It was implemented by the apostles on the day of Pentecost, those who believed were commanded to repent and be baptized for the remission of their sins (Acts 2:38). Everybody who believed the gospel were baptized including Paul (Acts 8:36-39; Acts 18:8-9; Acts 10:48; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 22:16), all these tell us that baptism is very important because the apostles taught and preached it as they were led by the Holy Spirit. The thief on the cross died before Christianity and Jesus Christ whilst on earth had the power to forgive sins (Mark 2:10) so the thief on the cross was not a Christian because Christianity started on the day of Pentecost. Thanks and may God bless you
  5. No, there is only one baptism found in the Bible in Ephesians 4:4-5. Romans 6:3-5; Galatians 3:27.. If you have not been baptized according to the one baptism found in the Bible (Romans 6:3-5), you have to baptize again (Acts 19:1-5) The Kingdom of heaven belongs to the infants already and they don't need to be baptized. Matthew 18:2-3; 19:14; Luke 18:16; Mark 10:14. We can't find in the Bible where infacts were baptized. Jesus Christ was baptized to show us example to follow. When Jesus commanded the apostles to preach the gospel to the whole world and said: "He who believes and is baptized will be saved" (Mark 16:16), He did not say "He who believes and is not baptized will be saved. Believing and Baptism move together.. It is a commandment of Christ and the followers of Him must obey...
  6. Discussion will come after last dispensation. Thanks and God bless you... 2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
  7. God has dealt with mankind in three different ways and these are: The Patriarchal age, The Mosaic or Jewish age, and The Christian age. The Patriarchal age started from the creation to the time of Moses. God spoke through the family head, or fathers. Example; Noah in Gen. 6:13-14, 7:1; 9:8, Abraham, Gen. 12:1-3; 22:17-18 and Cain, Gen. 4:9. Jacob's name changed to Israel by God. Gen. 32:27-28, Israel gave birth to twelve sons known as the twelve tribes of Israel. Famine forced them to Egypt, Gen. 45-46 Finally God raised a deliverer in a person of Moses to deliver His people from Egypt, Exodus 3:1-10. They became a great nation fulfilling the first two parts of the promise to Abraham, Gal. 3:13-14, 16, 19, 24-29. Mosaic or Jewish Age covers approximately 1500 years, from Moses to the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. After Moses led the people out of bondage, God gave His laws to them at Mount Sinai, Ex. 20-21, this is the Ten Commandments, Ex. 20:1-18; Deut. 5:1-22. The ten commandments and moral, ceremonial, and civil laws formed one covenant, Lev. 19:1-37; 20:1-27; 24:10-13; 24:22. They were punished when they disobey any part of the law. Joshua 1:7-8, Deut. 28:58-68. Death was the sentence for any of the commandments they break and sin like adultery. Deut. 22:22-25; 21:18-21. The man who violated the Sabbath law. Numbers 15:32-36. Even changing the God's law of worship. Lev. 10:1-2. The law was designed to prepare people for Christ Jesus. Gal. 3:24-25, Heb. 10:1. To be continued with the last dispensation, thus, Christian age.... Amen!
  8. Thank you all for your great concerned and your wonderful comments, may the good Lord bless you more abundantly... Amen
  9. God bless you bro Joshua
  10. Self Righteousness Is A Fool's Lie As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Romans 3:10-18 For Righteousness Is A Gift For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 Called Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1 Peter 1:18-19 Jesus Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 3:20-28 ~ Praying For Your Friend Love, Joe Thank you very much bro Joe
  11. Brethren, I need your help; what does it mean to be righteous? And what was the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees like? I need some insight from you so that I can help a friend of mine....
