  1. There are alot of excellent resonses to this. I as well find your post to be a wide statement. What I drew out of it by your comment on God's justice was that possibly like Martin Luther prior to his written protest believed his heart could be filled with good works. Try as you might you will never be filled by exclusively following the law. If we could follow God's rules on our own there would have been no need for Jesus to have come. He came to save us so that we might be reconciled to God. It is Grace that He brought, and quite possibly grace that you are seeking. If God says that you are his child and he loves you even as he loves his son Jesus then who are you to deny that? I am not trying to sound harsh here at all, but as long as you believe he is the Almighty God then why do you trust your own understanding when it is so puny compared to that of God? He says leaning not on your own understanding, but trust in God and he will make your paths straight. If you seek Him he will draw near to you. If you are open to what he is trying to show you then you will see that you are truly and deeply loved by Him. He loved ypu so much he sent his Son to die for you so that you could come to Him. He loves you dearly. I know that it is not always easy in this world to keep the faith. We are constantly surrounded by images and ideas that counter God's word. However, there is nothing this world can offer that can beat the God's everlasting agape love. I believe it is what everyone in this world longs for even if they can not recognize it. Please bring your requests to God. He wants to hear them all. Anger, pain, happiness, joy etc. He longs to hear us come to him no matter where we are or what we have done. He already knows. Grace and Peace!
  2. Love this! I needed some encouragment today so I thank God for your post. Very true!
  3. First, the creator didn't create different religons. We did. Doctrine is man made. The Bible is the word of God. That is what He calls us to believe. Secondly, Jesus said He must leave so that the counselor could come. The counselor being the Holy Spirit which will teach you and guide you in His ways. Thirdly, He calls us to share the good news for a reason. That is part of the reason we need to respond to the Spirit's prompting in that area. Of course, the bible also says that no one comes to Jesus unless his Father called them first. The truth will be in the word. The more time you spend with it the more it will illuminate the answers you are seeking. The Bible also says seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened.
