  1. Hello everyone, I am writing this because I hope to receive advice how to deal with the situation I am. First of all, let me tell you some words about myself. I am 26-year-old Bulgarian and live in a small town in the central part of the country. I am single and unemployed. The only job I do is to serve in a church in my hometown as a preacher. I am not paid for serving in the church. I have been preaching in the church since 2010. I was not a part of this church before 2010. I attended another church in my hometown and decided to help this church with preaching because they invited me and there was not anyone who was able to preach. The problems which I face: 1) PROBLEMS WITH THE PASTOR OF THE CHURCH I am not the main servant in the church. There is a man who is the official leader of the church and he is appointed as a pastor. I am not authorized to take any decisions or make any changes without his approval. The problem here is that the official pastor is not a spiritual person. He was appointed as a pastor because there was not any other to do this. He is loyal to the main pastor of the Christian denomination which our church belongs to. Problems with the pastor: - The pastor of the church is running a bar where alcohol and cigarettes are sold. - He also lends money at interest to the brothers and sisters from the church. - He is aggressive and nervous and sometimes fights with people from the town. - He is not able to preach and does not have knowledge on more difficult biblical topics. - He has a self-confident and the assurance that he is the pastor of the church and allows some unsuitable people to serve in the church. - His three sons also lend money at interest. - His sons hardly ever attend the church services. - His sons are aggressive and are often involved in conflict situations. 2) PROBLEMS WITH THE WORSHIP TEAM. The worship team includes four people and only one of them is suitable for the ministry. Problems with the worship team: - Two of them smoke cigarettes. - Three of them often come late for church services and we all stay and wait for them. The service starts when they come. - Two of them leave the church service when the worship songs are finished and do not stay for the sermon. - Three of them are not disciplined and often tell jokes and go into bad companies. I told the pastor that it is not good for the church when these people are a part of the worship team, however, he thinks that the ministry will not be able to continue if they do not sing. So, he does not want to prohibit them from singing in the church. We also do not have anyone who can replace them in the worship ministry. These are the problems I face in the ministry. Could you give me some useful advice or recommend me a pastor who has wisdom how to deal with situations like that? The easiest thing is to leave the church. However, firstly, I want to try to find another solution without leaving the church. Do you have any suggestions how to solve these problems? PS) Please excuse my mistakes but English is not my first language.
  2. Only God the Father knows when the Second Coming will be. In my opinion your dream came from your mind and thoughts.
  3. If I were you I would leave this church. It is a cult and its doctrines are not biblical at all.
