  1. The 12 disciples of Jesus named. Matthew 10;1 He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. 2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. 5 Read John chapter 17... particularly vrs 6 - 12. Judas wasn't one of the people given to Jesus. Judas was one of the 12 disciples. He was even named with the other disciples. To say I have not lost any except Judas or I have not lost any but Judas is incorrect. It is like saying I have all my fingers except one. You don't have all your fingers if you lost any.

Judas wasn't one of the people given to Jesus. The list clearly names Judas as one of the 12 disciples. It even says in John 17 Judas was destroyed.

  4. "What did Christ sacrifice if he is with God in Heaven?" Jesus Sacrificed his Son: the Man Christ Jesus. John 15:12-13King James Version (KJV) 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 1 John 3:16King James Version (KJV) 16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Did you know that Jesus spoke in parables so that he could not be understood? Jesus spoke in parables. He said it was so the people would not understand him. He was so incoherent that even his disciples failed to understand him. He had to speak to them privately to explain the meaning in his parables. But even here he used more parables in his explanation. Matthew13:13 This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. Mark 4:34 He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything. But when the Jews finally caught on to what Jesus was claiming that he was the Christ and this claim was not wrapped in some parable. They asked that he be out to death for blasphemy in accordance with Deuteronomy. Deuteronomy 18: 20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."
  5. I don't think Jesus sacrificed anything. He had no choice in the matter. God offered Jesus as a human sacrifice, as the sacrificial lamb. It was not Jesus's decision. Matthew 26:1-2 1 When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples, 2 "As you know, the Passover is two days away--and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified Jesus even protested his approaching demise. Matthew 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." And when the moment happened and he was made the sacrificial lamb he protested even louder. Matthew 27:46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"). I am Harikrish a Vedantist raised in the Vedantic tradition. I was born a Hindu. I am here to learn and share what is revealed to me by reading the word of God as found in the Bible. But we know what Jesus got in return for being the sacrificial lamb. Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. What was he before God offered him as human sacrifice for the sins of all, so those who believed that will be forgiven. Jesus was made lower than the angels. Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
