I don't think Jesus sacrificed anything. He had no choice in the matter. God offered Jesus as a human sacrifice, as the sacrificial lamb. It was not Jesus's decision.
Matthew 26:1-2
1 When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples,
2 "As you know, the Passover is two days away--and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified
Jesus even protested his approaching demise.
Matthew 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
And when the moment happened and he was made the sacrificial lamb he protested even louder.
Matthew 27:46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?").

But we know what Jesus got in return for being the sacrificial lamb.
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
What was he before God offered him as human sacrifice for the sins of all, so those who believed that will be forgiven. Jesus was made lower than the angels.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
