  1. So you believe Satan is going to die? How do you believe his end will come? Do you not understand he is not flesh and blood? That he is a spirit and all his demons and devils are also eternal. No Satan is eternal and his eternal home will be hell. Read Eph, 6:12. We are a created in God image and that make us eternal also. Do you not understand that Satan gets his power from God? Only God is eternal. All spirits, like the angels and even the fallen one's, exist because God permits it so. When God destroys Satan in Hell do you think that means he lives retaining the power and presence he has now as lord of this earth?
  2. What's being proposed here by what appears to be weak authorities in Maine is caution. What is being stoked by a unconscionable health care worker is panic.
  3. I don't think any Christian would be such a fool as her. Love your neighbor as yourself. That would pretty much preclude our emulating her despicable indifferent behavior.
  4. Local government can enforce via the police force, part of the executive branch, curfews. Forcing people to go home and stay there at whatever time the government decrees. That happened as recently as Ferguson. Here we have a woman who saw first hand the ravages of Ebola, knows well enough that she can not say with a medical certainty that she cannot infect people at this stage, and while it is the governments fault she entered the U.S. so as to go to her home, rather than her credentials on arrival meriting mandatory quarantine for all health care workers returning from an Ebola hot zone, she's now in her home and obstinate about other people's right to not contract a lethal virus that very well could be infecting her. So, in rebuttal to the question, how far do we allow government into our lives, when the answer is they're already interlaced with all aspects of our life inextricably, the actual question might be, how do we argue a woman who could infect countless people thumb her nose at precautions that prevent that has the right to refuse? While she's demonstrating characteristics of those belonging to someone diagnosed as a sociopath and appears to be thinking if she keeps fighting this, soon 21 days will have transpired and she'll not only prove she wasn't infected at all so as to necessitate that 21 day quarantine in that time, but will then at day 22 have cause to file a civil rights lawsuit for all the harassment she suffered and without merit. Now, let's imagine this. She is infected. Virus mutate. She's not showing signs yet but meanwhile, as some health care experts have said is possible, the strain has gone bronchial and is now able to be transmitted airborne. What then? She's bicycled, she's met with people, she's filled the rooms, including her own home and the air her boyfriend breathes, with this virus. She's argued even with the police that did a bang up job keeping her in her house. As is in evidence when we see the pictures of her bicycling away. We recall the doctor who boarded a NY subway train. Countless people there. Where's he at? We remember the nurse who showing symptoms boarded two airplanes going to and coming from her mom's house in another state. Over 200 people on those flights. She thanks God she's alive now. What are the people she came into contact doing now? Body fluids include sweat, breath because it is moist when you're fevered, mucous, phlegm. Blood, feces, urine, aren't the only body fluids we're talking about as vehicles of transmission for Ebola. We recall the other nurse that boarded a cruise ship with hundreds upon hundreds of people aboard. Symptomatic at that. And the doctor, who's cameraman did have Ebola, 'voluntarily' quarantined herself, which speaks volumes against this mere nurse that refuses, and then just as voluntarily left quarantine because she had a craving in New Jersey for....SOUP! The question isn't how much government do we let in our lives. The question is how long do we tolerate potential walking weapons of viral death threaten public safety because they feel they have the right to?
  5. The next piece of the, 'somethings just not right between the Ebola press coverage/scare and ISIS" puzzle now appears. Fascinating time to be alive.
  6. Definitely not Crowe as Moses. I agree he was bad enough as Noah. Though the rock monsters were an interesting twist. Especially their, shall we say, reprieve?
  7. Yes, common sense for most of us. But we're not the one's in control of the say so. Sadly enough.
  8. To be clear, I wasn't advocating blowing up the or a mosque there. I was simply saying I find it surprising that hasn't yet happened in all these many decades. I think back to the famed Golda Meir quote regarding peace in the middle east. There will be peace there, she said, when the Palestinians , and so much for certain Jews saying there is no such thing when their former Prime Minister recognized the community, love their children more than they love killing ours. I think if Israel was compelled to claim what they believe is rightfully theirs under God that somewhere along the lines they would have delivered the ultimate challenge to their enemies and their allies already. Set it off and see who's side God is really on, in other words. It's like a bad war poster. Tired of waiting for Armageddon? Are all those 'end of the world' dry goods just sitting in your bomb shelter? Does Mecca really tick you off just because? Lean now toward, "Set It Off". Brought to you buy the committee to pop-a-mosque! Sorry, I'm in a mood.
  9. See her press conference: Houston Mayor's Reversal Drops Controversial Bid To Subpoena Sermons - Fight For Faith - Huckabee What is concerning and quite frankly disgusting is this "mayors" hubris and anti-American attitude. From the article I posted. Last paragraph. "An unrepentant Mayor Parker surrendered today, though begrudgingly," Kelsey said. "She did not admit the frailty of her legal positon, but instead recognized that attacks on constitutional rights by the government are still politically unpopular."

  11. Grand idea. I second that if this suggestion ever comes to a vote. A serious adults only password protected forum would allow for free discussion and no chance of offending immature readers.
  12. And then there's this: Remembering the CDC is a government entity. And since we're not returning illegal alien unaccompanied minors back across the border, an official admission they are spreading this virus would cause havoc. Especially when those illegal alien minors are now attending our government funded public schools. The Jewish Press Media Ignore Politically Touchy Virus (Sic)"...The EV-68 virus was identified in California in 1962, but until the current outbreak it has rarely been diagnosed in the U.S. in the past four decades. The latest outbreak has taken on a political tone, with some in talk radio and on the blogosphere suggesting the virus may have been carried to the U.S. by illegal aliens, especially the so-called unaccompanied alien children, or UACs, who have been streaming across the southern border. Most UACs originate in Central American countries, some of which have seen recent spates of EV-68 virus outbreaks. A study published October 11, 2013 in Virology Journal reported on nasopharyngeal swabs collected from 3,375 subjects aged 25 years or younger from eight Latin American countries who had an influenza-like illness. The study found human Enteroviruses were identified in a staggering three percent of all subjects. Media Matters cites a statement it obtained from CDC spokeswoman Jeanette St. Pierre saying: “Currently, there is no evidence from testing at CDC that EV-D68 infections in the U.S. are a result of unaccompanied minors moving into the country.” "
  13. CDC denies enterovirus link to illegal-alien kids Disease common in Latin America was rare in U.S. Published: 10/15/2014 (Sic)"...The CDC argued EV-D68 is not new to the U.S., having been identified in California in 1962. “In previous years, it has not been as commonly identified as other enteroviruses,” CDC said. “This year’s increase in confirmed cases is not due to a recent introduction in the United States.” However, evidence buried in peer-reviewed medical journals provides support for the argument enterovirus D-68, or EV-D68, in the United States was a relatively rare disease. The EV-D68 epidemic occurred only after the surge this year of unaccompanied alien children illegally crossing the border from Latin America, a region where the virus is more prevalent among young children. The CDC records nearly 700 people who have been diagnosed with the virus this year. Five children have died while infected." [Full Article Here]
