That is great info, thanks for posting that. Maybe I didn't explain well, I'm good at that...lol. I wasn't really saying I had a "changed" gift, I just know that at one time I thought I had "phsychic powers", and did have some insight, but that is nothing like what I'm experiencing now. I don't even know if I can put it into words, it's inside of me. I can tell you that I do not feel like I'm being deceived, but am always weary of being manipulated by the devil, so I do question everything constantly, and there have been times that I have discerned that something was not of God. All I know is that whenever I question anything, I pray, and ask God what to do, it's all I can do, trust in God, and turn my life over to him. I am also a new creation, I also cannot explain that or put it into words, I'm still the same guy on the outside, but inside is changed. My heart is no longer hardened, and I love the light. I do not love the world anymore, and I do not love the darkness, but I used to. I do focus on God, and turn away from the devil, and hope that he will flee from me, and stay away, but I know that since I am now one of Gods children, my name is on the list for attack. I do not believe satan attacks those who are of no threat to him, they are already corrupt, he goes after people who have turned to God, trying to turn them back to him. Your words are very wise, and I respect them, thank you.

Can you share a little bit about your back ground? And maybe give us a example of what you are talking about? As a Christian God will give us discernment if we ask for it. Maybe somebody can help you better if you share a little about your self? Well, not sure where to start. I became a Christian about 3 years ago, and I am definitely "born again". I am not the same guy inside that I used to be. I've always had "gifts", but not like this, and I don't think they were form God if you know what I mean. I have an occult background, but since being saved I've removed all of that from my soul, been delivered and baptized. As for what I'm talking about, mostly I get impressions of people, and sense if there is a "being" attached to them or not. Sometimes I cannot be close to a person as they feel so evil or perverse to me. I am not judging anyone, it comes from inside (from God), not my eyes. I ask God for discernment, but it only manifests in feelings, and once and awhile in something visual, or in very lucid dreams. I guess what I'm wondering is if the "discerning" of the spirits will only ever manifest in a feeling, or in some other way. Do I always have to ask, or will I just receive. Will it always be correct? If it's from God, it should always be correct, right?

Let me disclose something about myself, I have a brain injury, and sometimes I do not get my words right. It is a blessing and a miracle to me that since becoming a Christian, I'm able to now read the bible, before that, I could barely read at all.

Hi all, I'm new to this forum, and I guess I'll just jump in and start asking some questions I'm curious about. I am now absolutely sure that I have the gift of discernment, and being a new Christian (for about 3 years now) I'm still growing spiritually, and figuring out all this stuff as I go along. I knew I had this gift long before I understood there was a name for it, and that it was from God, but now that I'm a Christian, it has just taken off, actually to the point a few months ago where I just wanted to leave church and hide, it was that "in my face". I feel strong impressions from people, both good and evil, have come to realize I can sense demonic attachments or oppressions (and learning to tell the difference from these and also mental illness) on people, as well as having some visual experiences. I think I saw angels in church surrounding someone I felt has a demonic attachment. Very strange. I guess my main question is simply how do I develop this gift, and how can I put it to good use. To me it seems that it could be more destructive than anything if I start opening my mouth about what I sense/see, so I don't really talk about it to anyone, and my pastor is not really open to this kind of thing, even though recently he put on a small course about spiritual gifts. So, I'm kinda on my own here. The bible says to "test the spirits" to see if they are from God, but does not say specifically how to do this. What is your suggestion to "test" the spirits? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I hope your not implying that I don't belong to Christ because I'm curious about the UFO phenomena. Not at all. But the many mansions in Heaven have nothing to do with fallen angels, aliens, or any other unrighteous creatures. They are strictly for believers. Nothing wrong with trying to understand UFO's etc. The American government has deliberately suppressed or misled the general population about this issue. Thanks for clarifying thagt for me! I'm not trying to cause any trouble here, or spead false doctrines, just understand things better. So what does that "many rooms" phrase mean to you?

My personal feeling is that they are indeed fallen angels. Alot of current UFOlogists now believe that these so called "aliens" are extradimensional beings who just pop into out existance and pop out again when they are done whatever they are doing here, well, "my fathers house has many rooms", I'm guessing that means many dimensions.

Hi all, I know this probably seems like a bit of an odd question to ask, but I've been reading alot of material lately that states researchers are concluding that alot of these UFO and alien encounters are demonic, or fallen angels, especially the common alien ubduction scenario. Before I was a Christian a few years ago, I had some very unusual experiences that led me to investigate the whole UFO/alien phenomena, and one thing that fascinated me was all the witness accounts of people who were allegedly abducted by aliens that said they mentioned the name JESUS and the whole experience stopped . I was particularly interestred in Dr Roger Leir's (now deceased) work. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has also concluded these aliens are actually fallen angels?
