    Worthy Experiment!

Most people don't realize the radical experiment we are doing here! I want you to imagine yourself -- hundreds of years ago -- when all the different denominations were starting! While everyone was insisting their beliefs were the "only" correct way to worship God -- they were creating more and more splits and divisions!

What we are trying to do at Worthy Boards is unheard of when you think about it! We are trying to unify the body -- while at the same time protect those fundamental truths that we can all agree with -- the need for salvation through Jesus -- the source for truth for living the Christian life found within the Bible. Read our Statement of faith! This experiment hasn't happened before when you really consider it!

If you want to join, first make sure you are logged into Worthy and then go to the clubs menu https://www.worthychristianforums.com/clubs/ find the Bible 365 Club and choose that. If you are signed into Worthy and are on the Bible 365 club page, and if you are not already a member, then you should see where it says JOIN CLUB" - click that! It will be a purple rectangle with white letters, positioned along with several tabs which are the club's features. This club consist of a schedule of Bible reading, that will take us through the Bible in one year. Starting in 2022, each day will have readings from the Old Testament and the New Testament but will no longer have books of Psalms and Proverbs until they fall into the schedule in their own time. The readings will on average, take less than 20 minutes each day for a person who reads moderately well. This club is not about doctrine, not about teaching, it is about reading the Bible. Some doctrine and teaching may inevitably come up (it is somewhat unavoidable, but systematic and regular Bible reading is the club's main intended function. It is a tool to help those of us who are interested in God's word, to read it more consistently. It is not version specific, we encourage the use of what ever version seems best to you. However, there will be access to pages, where the day's scheduled reading, will let you pop up the passages planned. It will open in the ESV version starting in 2022, but once open, you may switch to your version of choice. This club opened on November 1st, 2017. People may join at any time, and start on the current day's reading, or choose from previous days and begin to catch up, as desired. For the sake of simplicity, you can send an email to bible365club@gmail.com Put anything you like in the subject and content areas, as all this email does, is reply to you with further information, and no one is on the other end to read the messages. It is just a bot that sends out information to all who send emails to it. You might want to also check out the "Misc" section, as undoubtedly other things of interest will accumulate there. While it is not intended as a Bible Study (it is about Bible reading) nor a discussion of doctrines, never the less it is expected that some will want to discuss what they have read, ask questions, and/or offer insights. I believe that this kind of interaction, can benefit us all. What will NOT be allowed in this, is the kinds of posts that are insulting, argumentative, etc. Feel free to offer your thoughts, but check your emotions with self control. I am in effect, suggesting that there is a functional Terms of Service for this club. While the normal TOS of Worthy still apply here, I am offering this as a code of conduct: Be Nice, Be Respectful, Be Open, or Be Evicted I call them the Be-Attitudes
