Hey everyone! My name is Jeremy, and I'm posting this because I want to ask for prayer, spiritual guidance, or any kind of support I may be able to receive. For years I've used the tools that the Lord has given me to build my own kingdom. I've been a freelance graphic designer, I've worked as a music composer for film and video games, I've pursued a career as a singer/songwriter, I've done photography, I've written and published poetry and articles, and I've showcased my work through video production and editing. Yet, much like the servant who hid his talent in the ground, I too have been irresponsible, and my master is coming home soon. The Lord had impressed heavily upon my heart that the things he's given me are not for me, but for Him and for His bride. I've spent much time in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other brothers in Christ regarding this, and have continued to hear the Lord say to drop everything here in California, and help out in the mission field. As radical as it seems, I am quite excited to see what the Lord has planned. I am partnering with missions organizations who will send me to various sites around the world, where I will be using my writing, photography, video production, music production, and graphic design, to raise awareness and support for the missionaries and humanitarian workers abroad. I will spend some time at various mission locations, immerse myself in the environment by physically involving myself with their projects, and document everything through photos, video, and interviews. When finished with a particular mission site, I will produce film documentaries, photos, and articles to tell the untold story about the missionaries there, and the people they help. The media will be used to raise awareness and financial support for these missionaries, by presenting it to their supporters back home, and also to gain new supporters through social media. Bubbles Baloo, you are absolutely right when you say the Lord will fight for you. "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Exodus 14:14. The enemy walks about like a roaring lion and will seek every opportunity he can to destroy you. It is imperative that we always put on the armor of God and always remain in scripture. It is also imperative that we close any doors that we may have been opened to the enemy, that being any occult activity, unrepented sin, etc. Here are some verses that helped me with oppression: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19
