  1. Its not to be taken literal what i said above
  2. Welcome to satans kingdom, some call it hell but we the humans call it Earth.
  3. Context is very important, and show me verse where spirit and soul are used interchangeably. It very well declares a spirit a soul are different things
  4. I 101% disagree with your response, its non biblical. You are over thinking something thats simple , in fact very simple. In one bible verse God tells you what a soul is and what a body is and what a spirit is. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 Spirit: Is the breath which is life. Body: Is the dust and the vessel. Soul: Is body and spirit Humans are not spirits but we have one, WE ARE SOULS as the lord said we are
  5. I see some different responses and im going to add another one in there. The trinity of man is widely misunderstood, actually i find it hilarious we don't even know what we are. We typically look at human trinity as we look at the trinity that god has. Father, Son ( Body) , Holy Spirit ( Spirit) and that is in fact the most confusing part .... let me explain myself The bible clearly states we have TWO separate parts And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 Part One: Body (Gods Creation (Dust) Is Our Body) Part Two: Spirit (Gods Breath Is Our Spirit) Soul: The soul is the combination of the two, for it said when he breathed into the body the breath of life it became a living soul. The bible hasn't indicated that the soul is an individual part of man but a concoction of body and spirit.
  6. Misconception is that once we die we immediately go to heaven or hell. We first go to the grave where the "sleep" begins. We will awake as the dead in Christ during the rapture/harvest.
  7. @Rick_Parker you said: I agree but i think it should be said that many people who consider themselves christian use that as an escape card. There is more to it. Where was your heart, what is love with out sincerity. It is not love at all. God laws are highly misunderstood in the sense that people dont understand why he is so persistent in saying why we should follow them., or why he created them in the first place. His laws represent his character, they are his very own way of life. If you dont respect them and keep them then you dont get his gift. And the Sabbath is still and has always been Saturday to all the Sunday going Christians on here, you can go to church any day of the week you like church is not the only ways to give a day to the lord, as long as you give him the Sabbath you follow this law. Tons of christians are under the illusion that we are under GRACE and not the LAW. Thats blasphemy for God says "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." -Mathew 5:18 God is saying he rather let heaven and earth vanish than change his law. And no all is not fulfilled yer Jesus dying on the cross was the begging, revelation has not yet been fulfilled he has not reaped his harvest and fulfill judgement yet. The only things that we christians dont have to do are the traditional laws such as feast and sacrifice of lambs but his commandments MUST be kept. Saved or not saved.
  8. His soul goes where his heart was, And where Gods judgement takes it. Truly only God can answer that. But there are clues. People tend to forget God isn't a robot or a judge like those that or in our courts. His principal is love. He isnt opening books and saying well you broke this law, sorry man you gotta go billy. Humans tend to Judge in this fashion Example: (Beginning of life) Billy was an okay guy, he was cheerful and a law abiding citizen. en Middle of Life: Billy tended to the poor even tho he had nothing.. End of life: Poverty got to Billys head and Billy steals from the church to afford a better living Typical Human Judgement: Billy started good but ended bad so billy is in hell. Truth: His soul goes where his heart was, And where Gods judgement takes it. God does not only look at the end of things, he Judges you by every step you take and even more important why you took them. He gives truly what you deserve. Look at Adam and Eve, they ate the fruit they where not suppose to eat and they deserved death. Eventually it came but he spared them time, so that we can come and that through the descendants of man Jesus can come and give us a second chance. Even tho they broke the law they didn't deserve such harsh punishment neither did we, we would not exist. They were tempted by a wiser being promising them things they never heard before . Also they never knew what a lie was, those were things that simply didn't exist in human nature at the time. -Not sure if this explained anything but hope you catch my drift
