ON A HILL FARAWAY STOOD AN OLD RUGGED CROSS THE EMBLEM OF SUFFRING AND SHAME BUT I LOVE THAT OLD CROSS WHERE THE DEAREST AND BEST FOR THE WORLD OF LOST SINNERS WAS SLAIN SO I'LL CHERISH THE OLD RUGGED CROSS TILL MY TROPHIES AT LAST I LAY DOWN I WILL CLING TO THE OLD RUGGED CROSS AND EXCHANGE IT SOMEDAY FOR A CROWN this is an old him one of my grandpas favorite right now he is in heaven. the old rugged cross tells a story God was nailed to a cross to [ay for our sins then the third day he arose from the dead.
