  1. Stay with one church. However, the most important thing is for the church to acknowledge Jesus Christ is son of a God and rose from the dead after three days. As for me, I don't agree or believe in so many church domino's out there. Because the scriptures tell us that Christ was never divided. There's a lot of corrupt doctrine out there and they try to twist the word of God. Test every spirits and ask your church leaders who Jesus Christ is? And see what they say. Seek a church that helps the poor and is out there preaching the world of God. 1 Corinthians 1 Unity in the Church "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?"
  2. You're saying that God does not exist? You must have reasons that you don't believe in god? If we can make babies, create everything else in this World then someone did create the first men and women? Tell me which atheist nation are the most peaceful to live in? Or maybe because they are one with Satan? No matter where you go in this world, there's Adversity because we live in a fallen World. Everywhere we look there are disasters, tragedies, trauma, misery, suffering, and loss. But what happens when our view of adversity becomes up close and personal? How does the Lord want us to respond when we come face to face with trials? And what is He trying to teach us through our difficulties? In 2 Corinthians 11:23-28, the apostle Paul described the various forms of adversity he experienced in his service for Christ—imprisonments, beatings, shipwrecks, exposure, hunger, thirst, and other dangers. Why would the Lord allow Paul, the man who introduced the Roman world to Jesus Christ, to suffer like this and be killed? from a human perspective, Paul’s suffering may seem unfair, but God used his hardships and pain to accomplish His will. During his imprisonment in Rome, Paul wrote Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians. And his letter to the Philippians was filled with joy because he understood that through adversity God accomplishes His divine purposes and works for our ultimate good. As for the Old testament it was the old covenant between men and god and the new testament is the new covenant between men and god through resurrection of the lord Jesus Christ and defeating Satan on that Cross. The Christians were completely separated from the rest of religious groups such as Islam, Judaism, Buddhism through the resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ which many have failed to accept hence the separation. Non-believers will only be saved through the baptism of Christ and believing in Christ it's that's simple. During Noah's time the people indeed were very wicked and the lord saved the righteous one including the living creatures...his just judge knows what's best. Genesis 9:13-17 "I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.” Everyone blames the creator for children dying in this world, the sickness, the wars, the slavery, but people never pause for a second and think about who's the ruler of this word? The fallen one. The interesting thing is that the Atheist don't believe in god exist yet they are always fighting him? Why would they fight someone if he doesn't exist? What are the primary reasons people don’t listen to God? They don’t have a relationship with Him. Many people don’t expect the Lord to speak to them. The messages of the world drown out God’s voice. They don’t think He has ever spoken to them. Their minds are closed to His voice. People are too busy. They may fear the message. A poor self-image causes them to doubt that God would speak to them. Sometimes people are angry with the Lord. They have neglected reading and meditating on the Bible. Some people have a rebellious spirit. They are deceived by the sounds of the world. Sin has prevented them from hearing God. How can we identify God’s voice? His voice will be consistent with His Word. His message will often conflict with human nature. It will always clash with fleshly ideas. The Lord challenges our faith. His voice is often quiet. He speaks specifically. Who is Jesus Christ One is Christ, the Son of God Worshipped by all in two natures; In His Godhead begotten of the Father Without beginning, before all time; In His Manhood, born of Mary. In the Fullness of time, in a united body Neither His Godhead is of the nature of the mother, Nor His manhood of the nature of the Father; The Natures are preserved in their Qnumeh In One Person of One Sonship.
  3. I don't know if you guys knew, the treasure of Nimrud was found in Iraq a few years back it's so fascinating, but very sad that the history of humanity is taken by ISIS and the rest of the groups.
  4. Greetings Brother The Assyrian people can be found in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel & Iran. However, majority of the population was in Iraq since Nineveh was the capital of Assyria. The Assyrians have always lived throughout middle east since the fall of empire. Remember Syria was a part of the Assyrian empire, but was separated into two states. Also, the biggest Assyrian population outside of middle east is in USA and followed by Australia and Sweden. The Assyrians migrated to the states as early as 1800s. Christians in Syria live primarily in Al-Hasakah with a significant presence in the provincial capital and the cities of Qamishli, Malikiyah, Ras al-Ayn, and Qahtaniyah, as well as in Tell Tamer and nearby villages, although some migrated to Damascus and other western cities. Some of the villages are vulnerable to ISIS because the ISIS go through these towns to get access into Mosul and back into Syria. As of November 2014, only 23 Assyrian and Armenian families remain in the city of Ar-Raqqah. Christian bibles and holy books reportedly been burned by ISIS militants. On the 8th of October 2015, 3 of the 230 Assyrian hostages were executed by Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. See Some of the Christians are a part of the displaced people and unfortunately are the ones stuck in middle east whilst the thugs and criminals are welcomed into USA, Australia and the rest of Europe. We all know that Christianity is hated so much from the beginning. The issue is that whenever the west intervenes in the middle east, the Christians end up paying for it and are considered “crusaders” figure this one out. People talk about the suicide bombing in Belgium, France, but no one talks about the Christians in middle east because they are nobody. A 12 years old boy been crucified on the cross in Iraq because some paper in Denmark was mocking Mohammed or the fact all churches been burnt and destroyed throughout Iraq, Syria. Or burning of bible books and forcing people to convert or die by the sword. Who’s ISIS? Some criminals that can be dissolved within days that’s the sad thing Under the regime the Christianity were not touched at all and lived in peace because the president of Syria and his father acknowledged and loved Christians. In 1970s and 1980s the Turks and Kurds wanted a piece of Syria and in an interview with Assad's father Hafez al-Assad quoted to the Kurds and the Turks "The Syria we live in today is not mine or yours, but it belongs to the rightful owners the Assyrians and that the rightful owners will come back one day and ask for their country". Probably the only country in middle east that offered Christians freedom and positions in governments. Unfortunately, it’s all changed now because of ISIS and other groups. The bible scriptures must be fulfilled, Syria is oldest civilisation standing today and it will be no more in future. See Isaiah 17 New King James Version (NKJV) Proclamation Against Syria and Israel. Remember all the Arabians countries were created recently and divided by British empire such nations never existed before. Here is the how the Assyrian empire looked also known as the fertile crescent.
  5. Dear Sister, The Bible calls Satan by many different names and I never recall reading in Aramaic that Satan was referred as the "Assyrian" but I will check the scriptures again and get back to you. Below are some of the Satan's names found in bible. Abaddon Accuser Adversary Angel of light Angel of the bottomless pit Anointed covering cherub Antichrist Apollyon Beast Beelzebub Belial Deceiver Devil Dragon Enemy Evil one Father of lies God of this age King of Babylon ( King of Magician) King of the bottomless pit King of Tyre Lawless one Leviathan Liar Little horn Lucifer Man of sin Murderer Power of darkness Prince of the power of the air Roaring lion Rulers of the darkness Ruler of demons Ruler of this world Satan Serpent of old Son of perdition Star Tempter Thief I read the scriptures in Aramaic so there's no loss of translation because the of old and new testament were written in Aramaic and when it comes to English bible, the closest bible to Aramaic is New KJV. When you're talking about the ninevites, we are also talking about the Assyrians of today and therefore the people of Nineveh did repent and have repented long time ago. The city of Nineveh is currently a provence situated in Mosul, Iraq & the mjmajority of the population in Mosul now are Muslims>Kurds>Turks>Arabs and less than 3% Christians. The Christians groups in Mosul comprise Of Iraqi Christians & Assyrians (Orthodox & Catholic). The difference between the Iraqi Christians and Assyrians(including Syriac) is that Assyrians speak Neo-Aramaic & old Aramaic. And, the Iraqi Christians speak Arabic only. Assyrians use Neo-Arabic for day-to-day speaking and old Aramaic in churches only because its a sacred language which Christ spoke in. A lot of Assyrians were killed in the city of Mosul over 80 years ago when the Ottoman empire including Muslim Arabs attacked forcing the Christians to convert or die by the sword hence the majority of the region is now Muslims. The Assyrian civilian population of upper Mesopotamia (the Tur Abdin region, the Hakkâri, Van, and Siirt provinces of present-day southeastern Turkey, and the Urmia region of northwestern Iran) was forcibly relocated and massacred by the Muslim Ottoman (Turkish) army, together with other armed and allied Muslim peoples, including Kurds, Chechens and Circassians, between 1914 and 1920, with further attacks on unarmed fleeing civilians conducted by local Arab militias. So during this period the Assyrians, Armenians and the Greeks in the region lost close to 3 million christian lives. Remember Babel (Babylonians AKA Chaldea AKA Chaldo) a term in Aramaic meaning the land of magicians hence the lord God wanted Abra (Abraham out of Babylon). The black magic was found and practiced in Babylon. The Babylonians and Assyrians were two brothers one managed Assyria and the other one was told to rule over Babylonians. Remember Akkidans were Assyrians "Sargon of Akkad united all the native Akkadian-speaking Semites and the Sumerians of Mesopotamia (including the Assyrians) under his rule. After the fall of the Akkadian Empire, the Akkadians split into two nations, Assyria in the north and much later, Babylonia in the south. " For now I need some coffee
  6. His name is in Exodus 3:14-15 when He appeared to Moses and identified Himself as “I AM WHO I AM.” He told Moses to tell the sons of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.” In Hebrew this name is YAHWEH, which we also know as Jehovah. It means self-existent and signifies that God had no beginning and will never have an end. This name describes His fullness—His eternal existence, sovereignty, unlimited power, and omnipresence. The I am statement Old testament Genesis 15:1, "I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” Genesis 15:7, “I am the Lord who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess." Genesis 17:1-2, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless, that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.” After the “I am God Almighty” reference, the Pentateuch uses this as a referent to remember the “I am” as the God of Abraham (just as Jesus alluded to in John 8:58): Genesis 26:24, “I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham's sake.” Genesis 35:11, “I am God Almighty:1 be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.” Genesis 46:3, “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation.” Exodus reveals God himself as the “I am who I am.” Thus, God revealed himself as the "I am" of Israel: Exodus 3:6, “And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. Exodus 3:14, “God said to Moses, “I am who I am.”1 And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I am has sent me to you.’” Exodus 6:2, “God spoke to Moses and said to him, ‘I am the Lord’” (cf. 6:6, 7, 8, 12, 29; 7:5, 17; 10:2; 12:12; 14:4, 18; 15:26). Exodus 16:12, “I have heard the grumbling of the people of Israel. Say to them, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread.’ Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God.” Exodus 20:2, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.” Exodus 29:34, “And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.” Genesis 15:1, "I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” Genesis 15:7, “I am the Lord who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess." I am the Lord their God.” Jesus is also the great I AM. He often affirmed His equality with the Father,John 14:9 “He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” John 14:11 “I am in the Father and the Father is in Me.” John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.” John 8:58 “Before Abraham was born, I am.” John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Jesus made several “I am” statements which supported His deity and explained His purpose for coming to earth. John 6:35 “I am the bread of life.” John 10:9 “I am the door.” John 10:14-15 “I am the good shepherd.” John 15:5 “I am the vine.” John 8:12 “I am the Light of the world.” Luke 22:70 “Yes, I am” (the Son of God). John 14:6 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” Revelation 1:8 “"I am the Alpha and the Omega.” Supporting Scriptures: Luke 22:7 | John 1:1-7 | John 6:33-35 | John 8:12 | John 8:58 |John 10:7-9 | John 10:14-15 | John 10:30 | John 14:1-6 | John 14:8-12 |John 15:1-5 | Galatians 4:1-5 |Revelation 1:8
  7. You're welcome sister. We know that Assyrians will have a nation again, but nobody knows the time or the hour. We know that Israel was formed as a nation between 1948-1952 and they settled in the 4 corners of the World. Also, we know the Assyrians have spread into the 4 corners of the world, but without a nations. This is no accident, everything must be fulfilled according to the prophecy in the old testament. Isaiah 19:23 "The LORD will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the LORD, and He will respond to them and will heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth" I can tell you that Assyrians are suffering across the world, but they are getting stronger day-by-day in every way. Everyone says Assyrians were very wicked, had no mercy and destroyed their enemies, they went out to punish everyone and taking the Israelite's into bondage which is very true. Remember every time the Israelites worship idols the lord would punish them severely. The lord would send visions to the kings of Assyrians to punish the Israelite's tribes Isaiah 10:5 Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hands is My indignation, I send it against a godless nation And commission it against the people of My fury To capture booty and to seize plunder, And to trample them down like mud in the streets. As you can see the Lord also instrumented everything and our lord god is saying that Assyria is a rod in my hand and will use to strike all the tribes that were disobeying the holy spirit. We also know in "Matthew 12:41" The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here. Nineveh is a capital city of Assyria situated in Iraq, Mosul were the core ISIS have occupied. The recent looting and destruction of Assyrian Artifacts, the tomb of Jonah and the destruction of city of Nimrod is priceless. 2 Peter 3:8 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
  8. Sister, "ALaaha Barrikhlaakh" you will only say it to a female and "Alaaha Baarikhlookh" to a male. Aramaic is very complex, one dot and the word means something else. Cool,I lived in Perth for two years, I was doing network architecture for BHP Billiton and I was flying in and out of Perth. Assyrians and Syrians are completely two different nations. The unique thing about Assyrians is that they are 100% Christians and we do not other religious group. In present day Syria you have [Christian Groups (Assyrians),maronites, coptic orthodox, and other dominions. However, Muslims are the majority. Whilst I never lived in Syria, but I have heard from the Christians that lived in Syria the Christians are well treated by Bashar al-assad and life was very good until recently. External group trying to topple the nations president so the Christians are fleeing because of prosecution by ISIS. Christians have always suffered throughout middle east the moment Christ came, but the mainstream media will never cover the prosecutions. The sad thing is that no one is helping the Christian of Middle East and no one cares. The map of middle east will be changed and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Its very complicated, the "nation Syria" derived from "Assyrians" over 2000 years ago our king decided to divide Assyria into two states one to be called Syria and the primary state Assyria. This was done by the king so that if Assyria fall to the enemy, the remaining Assyria would always be intact which is present day Syria. In the beginning it started in the land between two rivers Mesopotamia and it will end their. Also, the name Tiglath is the name of one of Assyrians king Tiglath-Pileser III which you can find in the scriptures 2 Kings 15:19 , 2 Kings 15:29, 2 Kings 16:9 ,1 Chron 5:26 , 2 Chron 28:20
  9. No worries sister. Laahaa Barrikhlaakh (in Aramaic) it means god bless you. I can see that you're from Australia? Which part of Australia?
  10. Dear sister, The Assyrian's and Israelites are first cousins by blood and I dont think many people know this, so there is Assyrian's that have Israeli blood in them. Both nations have a lot of similarities from customs to speaking in Aramaic. Remember Ibra later called Abraham was called by God to leave Ur of the Chaldees which was part of Assyria. Many people think Chaldees or chaldean was a nation. However, the word "Chaldees" in Aramaic means magician hence God had asked Abraham to leave the land of Chaldees( Magician) and go to a promised land. If we go back to the beginning then we are all Abraham's descendants. But, I wanted to correct some facts published on here about Assyrians which is wrong and misleading people.
  11. Thanks for your reply friend. You're correct with most of your points. However, I am quite disappointed that a lot of people on here consider Assyrian as Arabs and Muslims of today after doing some searches on here. I can tell you as an Assyrian that we are 100% Christians and we speak the modern Aramaic language. From the beginning the Assyrian's have not spoken Arabic nor were they affiliated with Arabs nor Islam. Assyrian people are still present through middle east, but without a nation. Whilst Assyrian's were occult believers like many other nations prior to new testament, but Assyrian's were one of the first nation in the world to become Christians and accept the lord Jesus Christ as our saver. We continue to speak and preach in Aramaic language in our churches after 2000 years ,but we have been suffering throughout middle east and forced to convert, especially the ISIS situation in the region You're 100% correct
  12. Hi All, I wanted to know who are the Assyrians? Are they Arabs? Are they Christian? I've read some strange topics on here about the Assyrians that aren't true.
  13. I hope you people realise that Assyrians are Christians? And they speak Aramic language?
  14. Well said seraph! The issue is that we think we know what's best for us when we really don't. Instead of taking things in our own hands we should be submitting our plans to the lord and let his will be. He knows what's best for us. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
  15. Thank you friend. I shared my experience to strengthen my brethren not to give up. To hear what I went through and how the lord saved me. To preserver and to have hope in the lord. Because the lord will help him and guide him in every step. Without light you will be in darkness.
