Your right I am a bit focused on sin and thats because I have and do sin but I want to be a good christian. Im by no means terrible and in general Im a good person. I guess Im just a bit concerned thats all. But please dont read into this to deaply Im a new member and Im finding my feet and am asking a few questions with regards to sin. For me its the prinsible, the fact that a young family could be living in the flat. But I'm not free from sin so I would feel hypercritical although i havent done the same as he.

Firstly I wanted to thank everyone who shared there thoughts on my question all of which very interesting. I have to say from whats been pointed out it looks as if from sundown friday until the same saturday is the sabbath day and God has asked us to rest on this day. I have to say I'm guilty of working on saturdays and since I've learnt about the sabbath ( couple of months now ) it does play on my mind and im slightly conflicted. I want to be a good christian and I will try to be but I still have to work over the sabbath on some weeks. In this day and age the working rota is a 24/7/365 situation for many. I think God does understand. As for bible teaching and thinking of our Lord well for me that is an everyday thing. I dont go to church as such (I've not found one suited to me)but I use the internet to learn about the bible (Amazing Facts). This is where I learnt about the sabbath. Take care and god bless. Well exactly especially in this day and age. Our employment can have people working around the clock 7 days a week 365 a year. Say for example a doctor saving a life on a sunday isnt sinning beacause hes working or a saturday for that matter. Take care and god bless. AndyMan

Ok but the 4th commandment says remember the sabbath day and keep it holy ?

If I was to ask God, "God which is the sabbath day of the week, Saturday or Sunday ?" Which day would he say. God bless. AndyMan

Something that is quite debatable for a number of reasons but I wondered what members here thought. Is the 7th day of the week a Saturday or a Sunday?

Firstly this post is how I found this site when I googled the question and found a post that was placed on here last year. I know a person that is claiming benifits frauduently they have a house that he claims housing benifit for but doesnt live there and claims sick benifit and works on the side. Would it be a sin to report him. Ive never in my life told on someone but this person is so blatent in his actions and has made his x partners life a missory lately. The thing is I think of lady magdalyn when she was about to be stoned and jesus said who hasnt sinned themselves etc etc. I could go on with things to say but I want to know if its a sin to tell tale ?
