  1. Would you please edit your remarks there and include the link to that thread? I think some readers believe God literally wrote the bible. Unaware of how the canon came into being the reader of what is the closed canon believe no other books could possibly be credible. Also, I think it important to remember tat there are Biblical scholars and New Testament scholars that speak of the many many, thousands even, of manuscripts, fragments, scrolls, parchments, that exist and have been found since the canonization of what is todays closed canon. Closed canon being an issue for many also. It means that what is contained in the 66 books, or 73 in the case of the Catholic bible that includes the Apocrypha, is judged by man to be the last time God will deliver his words to the world.
  2. No, it's 120 days. I too watched news outlets report that it was a 90 day ban. (edited to add the text for that) Sec. 5. Realignment of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program for Fiscal Year 2017. (a) The Secretary of State shall suspend the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) for 120 days. During the 120-day period, the Secretary of State, in conjunction with the Secretary of Homeland Security and in consultation with the Director of National Intelligence, shall review the USRAP application and adjudication process to determine what additional procedures should be taken to ensure that those approved for refugee admission do not pose a threat to the security and welfare of the United States, and shall implement such additional procedures. Refugee applicants who are already in the USRAP process may be admitted upon the initiation and completion of these revised procedures. Upon the date that is 120 days after the date of this order, the Secretary of State shall resume USRAP admissions only for nationals of countries for which the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the Director of National Intelligence have jointly determined that such additional procedures are adequate to ensure the security and welfare of the United States. MSM I believe counts on viewers having short memories due to all the information they report over the months and years. Trump's ban is a great idea and hopefully just the start of streamlining national security. Remember this?
  3. This is reporting MSM doesn't want you to know about it. That's why it is important I believe to seek for yourself. The people protesting at airports likely wouldn't care about this report. That's why the 120 month EO immigrant ban and extreme vetting policy even for those with green cards is so important an installment for our national security. Well, one of the reasons. Fakes Flood Front Lines as Iraqis Don Knockoffs of Popular AAFES Gear Yahia Majid Asa, right, a member of Iraq's Golden Division, wears a 5.11 Tactical sweater in eastern Mosul on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, as his colleague Ahmed Faisal looks on. (CHAD GARLAND/STARS AND STRIPES) Stars and Stripes | Jan 26, 2017 | by Chad Garland "IRBIL, Iraq -- One marker of U.S. influence on the front lines of the Mosul campaign is small but recognizable, and seemingly everywhere -- the brand insignia for the Irvine, Calif.-based 5.11 Tactical line of apparel and accessories. The gear, pervasive at U.S. military exchanges, has become so desirable among Iraqi forces that even obvious fakes and cheap knockoffs are common. It seems to be a sign of the brand's niche appeal as gear for "operators" and of its target market's involvement here. "
  4. Great! Now Canada can deal with the new refugees and add that to the issues they've had over the years with Pakistani immigrants. We'll have to increase border security to our north. But that's OK. More jobs.
  5. What do you know about John McCain's service? The media labeled Trump's observation of the Muslim gold star family's matriarch and her demeanor during an interview. That's all. Traditional Muslim families have the woman as subservient to the man. Are you aware of that? Under Sharia tenets she's to walk three paces behind the man. She's not to speak for herself without his permission. All that was displayed during the interview with that family. That is what Trump was commenting on. That's not disrespect. That's making an observation of a woman's demeanor when a very emotional topic is being discussed. Her son's death.
  6. There were a list of radio stations on the main menu? Truth Radio Network, a Messianic radio station, etc... I don't see them now. Were they removed or is it my security settings that suddenly block them from view? Thank you for any help.
  7. This is a popularized translation of the OT pseudepigrapha, quasi-Biblical writings which never achieved canonical status (or inclusion in any of the official Apocrypha). This isn't to say that these documents are forgeries, just that for one reason or another they were not considered part of the Biblical text by the first millenium (C.E.) compilers. This book contains translations of all of the texts found in volume I of the weighty Oxford University Press Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, without any of the apparatus. The Forgotten Books of Eden edited by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr. [1926]
  8. Of course he knew this would happen. It isn't thoughtless action. It's well thought out planning put into effect by EO. Thoughtless action is abdicating the power of the office to show disrespect for America while giving aid and comfort to terrorist states. But since Obama hasn't yet been arrested for treason, we'll wait on that to happen.
  9. Trump never disrespected heroes. And American's don't follow their president. If they're members of the executive branch, the military, wherein any president is the enlisted soldiers commander in chief, those soldiers follow orders. You claim you'll pray for Trump to gain wisdom and temperance. Your callous remarks demonstrate you should pray for those characteristics to come upon you. You've not a clue what you're talking about. You're simply bashing the president because you're unaware of scripture, and the need for national security against all enemies that have shown themselves to us. Both foreign and domestic.
  10. "White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus muddied the waters on President Donald Trump's new executive order barring immigration from select countries, saying Sunday it "doesn't include green card holders going forward" but adding that anyone traveling back and forth from the countries in question will be subject to further screening, including U.S. citizens." Priebus Says Immigration Ban 'Doesn't Include' Green Card Holders, Then Reverses (NBC News 1/29) Just makes sense. Green card holders traveling to banned countries should be vetted. How many terrorist Muslims have been trained abroad in terrorist countries and then returned to America to carry out Jihad? One is too many. And Prius didn't reverse a thing. Green card holders aren't banned. Extreme vetting isn't banning. Maybe NBC needs to get a clue about the truth?
  11. Hey, I gotta go with levity when a former secretary of state, diplomat, career politician , talks about registering as a Muslim in these times just to protest a national security measure designed to protect the country from terrorists who are Muslim. That she thinks there is a religious registry in America is troubling in matters of her mental health. That she thinks to put her name on such a thing as a woman of means and power, knowing nothing about Islam, is just as bad. She's not to be taken seriously but she is an example of what overdosing on Left wing politics can do to a person's mental health in their senior years. I know Muslims who live in my area. Even they think she's a bit daft to make a public statement like that.
  12. I'd suggest you read up on Sharia. Madeleine and Hillary were/are respectively about power. They're female. Those two points aren't conflated under Sharia. Sharia is patriarchal to the extreme.
  13. True. But the protesters cheering at the airports around the country where protests are gathered don't know this. Even when it's openly reported. They think the whole deal is temporarily quashed. Have you seen the protesters? They're under 30 for the most part. And they all appear to be college students. Which I would say are students straight out of the Leftstremist universities and college campuses. I tell you, it is amazing to watch the news coverage and read the protest signs. All those years of Left wing politic and PC programming on display in the youth that will grow to be the leaders and the business owners of tomorrow. Which is just around the corner given the average age from the looks of those crowds. They're clueless.
  14. Imagine if we could find a common ground with Russia and against global terrorism.
  15. I'd think so. However, they were like unto newborn babies. They had no knowledge of right, wrong, good, evil. They didn't know to be ashamed of their nakedness until after they ate of the fruit that gave them self-consciousness.
  16. BREAKING: Federal Judge Grants Stay Putting Trump’s Immigration Executive Order on Hold
  17. The election was in November. He set out his plan if he won the White house all through his campaign. He's a successful businessman. He had everything in place to drain the swamp, follow through on his promises, likely well before the election. Hit the ground running as it were. I like that Trump isn't as stupid as his critics would like to make out. It's crisping the mind of the Leftstreamists that have nothing to contribute but the same old vitriol. Meanwhile, Trump's taking action. MSNBC tends to obsess on a hot topic while sacrificing all other scheduled programming. They're camped at JFK airport now covering the protests there. It's a privilege, not a right to enter a country. Deal with it people!
  18. Nor do I wish any harm to her. However, she fails to realize that there is no religious registry in America first off. And secondly, were she to convert to the branch of Islam that is of concern to national security, she'd find her feminist ideology would be very short lived were she to move to a sharia governed nation to further her stance.
  19. That's right, I was mistaken in the recall. Albright was standing with Hillary when she said it. Here's the clip of that remark at YouTube I think if Madaleine really wants to show solidarity she'll rescind her American citizenship and apply to immigrate to Iran as a Muslim convert. See if she can get out of the country on the tails of Trump's EO and if a Muslim country would have her. That should be fun to watch. Maddy clad in a Burka, walking steps behind the man in her life, not driving, and relinquishing her voice as a woman of power as what she once had in the U.S.. I'd give her about a month before she's arrested or worse. Because their ain't no feminists marching in Iran baby.
  20. I knew someone years ago who gave me a very sound piece of wisdom concerning enduring suffering for fear of the outcome. "When the pain of the problem outweighs the pain of its solution you'll decide which pain is worth your time to suffer." Maybe this situation is God's next milestone. Put in your path to challenge you to step out of that soft shell and say what needs to be said. Maybe what needs to be said is what is needed to help someone out of where they're locked into? I don't know the situation of course. However, if it bothers you this much that you're not speaking up or out, it seems to me that bother is something inside of you desperately trying to get you to speak up or out. You wanna say it but you don't typically say things like that. But it bothers you that you're not saying it. Sounds like some deeper wisdom is trying to get your attention. If it wasn't needing to be said your remaining silent wouldn't bother you so much I don't think.
  21. I totally agree. And yet the likelihood of that happening is zero. That's why corrupt politicians do what they do. They know they'll never have to answer for what they do. And they'll retire and have all the tax payer paid benefits accompanying them to the day they die. Because the people are a means to an end.
  22. If it's getting to you I would take that as a sign you're to do something else. Like being honest. Maybe that's what the situation you find yourself in needs from those that give their input; honesty. If it's honestly happening it can be honestly addressed. It's like that old story about the band-aid. Take your time pulling it off a healed wound and it hurts like the dickens. And for a lot longer than just taking it off so the pain comes and goes quickly.
  23. I know that. My comment was replying in kind with the back to you after you posted, "I hear you."
