  1. Thank you all for your advice. It seems the matter has been addressed with the company and they have let the individual go. I hope this person learns that we are to follow worldly authorities just as God’s authority. Thank you all again!
  2. The mask part I do not agree with, as I think that has to do with a choice to assist in protecting lives. As for bowing down to Men for their own validated purpose, I agree. People are free to submit to other Man’s belief if they want, but only Being I will bow down to is God/Jesus.
  3. Good morning all! So I have a situation where I am seeking advice on what I should do. I previously left my job position within a prestigious hospital because of my superiors violating federal laws and committing acts of abuse of power, according to the hospital’s own policies. Once I left, I felt I needed to notify someone within the hospital that could address these issues as I still am concerned for fellow coworkers and friends of mine that work there. So I did submit a report to the compliance organization within this hospital. At first there seemed to be interest in my report but now I feel there may be cover up going on, as now the organization has prevented me from submitting additional information to Aid in addressing my report. Now my dilemma is, I feel the compliance organization may be covering up as it is still affiliated with the hospital. The matters that need to be addressed are serious on Federal level of law, as it violates the law, on the flip side I wouldn’t want my actions to pursue these matters to cause retaliation against my former colleagues and friends. Yet, I feel within myself it isn’t right to just let the hospital cover things up. I try and out weigh one action to the next and the pros and cons list of both keep growing. For instance: if I allow the matter to just be and no further push, then my friends and coworkers will still be subjected to the abuse of their management and patients are also subject to further wrongdoing. however if I push further, some coworkers And friends will be exposed and while trying to correct, they will be subjected to retaliation from their management or hospital all together (like lose their jobs). Now these are the good employees who rights are being violated. Also I must admit I fear that this may fall back on me, as being a whistle blower is frowned upon and can prevent me from finding employment elsewhere. Part of me feels I should play it safe and some have told me just let it be, because it would hurt me and others and I should worry about how it affects me 1st. Yet even when I try and adapt this mentality of some form of self preservation, let it be. There is something inside of me that feels I should not remain silent. Then when I feel like I should push forward with what is right, I am then discouraged because pushing forward would definitely expose my friends (good people) to them facing retaliation and them losing there jobs and careers. So I am just as confused as my explanation here seems. I am lost on what I should do. Either way people get hurt, either way I will cause harm. Either way people can be affected in the long term of their lives. I have asked God but the answer still isn’t clear to me. This is why I am seeking advice, in hopes to receive confirmation in responses. I hope I explained this well enough for you all to understand, and I appreciate any advice. Thank you,
  4. Just think of cult leaders as an example. These individuals used The Word to gain followers. During their teachings in the beginning they may have touched individuals and lead them away from their sins (drove out demons/ healed many from their afflictions/ performed miracles). However they themselves did it for the wrong reasons and were filled with demons themselves. So eventhough they claimed they were doing the Lord's Will, they really weren't. (At least from a human point of view) These individuals will have a lot to repent for and Jesus may say to them that they did not know him or ever knew him. As for doing God's Will, the better we get to know him, the better chance of us doing His Will. Pharisees are another group of individuals where they spoke and doctrine practiced but their actual behavior of exclusion and little care or mercy for others (besides their own kind), comes to mind as an example of individuals claiming to do God's Will, but got it wrong.
  5. You can easily look up how many and how often people die from hunger. I'm sure either some of them prayed, their family prayed or even Christian strangers have prayed for God to help the starving, yet they have suffered and died.
  6. This is my dilemma. Why would a merciful God deny a starving person food? He gives mercy to the wicked all the time. I can't think of a reason he would say no to a prayer for food to a starving person.
  7. It is often said that God will answer your prayers with either yes, no or not right now. However wouldn't No actually not be answering your prayer? Example: If a person is starving and ask/prays for God to please give them food for the night and they do not receive it, did God just say No and that is it? Seems a bit harsh.
  8. Well Man has debated and been wrong about The Word ever since God gave it to Man. Just proof that Man, all Man/Men are fallible. As for who will be held accountable, we all will. As for how much and why, well there is only one judge, and it is completely up to him. We must get to know him, stay in him, and obey him. He is the only way. Praise Jesus!!! ❤❤❤
  9. Agreed!!! He didn't say anything about "Man's way" being the way. John 14:6 King James Version (KJV) 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me Acts 4:12 King James Version (KJV) 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Stay in/with Christ!!!!
  10. Are there those that God will never forgive? How as MAN do we determine what or who can or can not be forgiven?
  11. Not waiting. Building and growing with Jesus. He has knowledge way beyond this world. Learning from him will teach you that the matters of this world are not worth you taking your life. Maybe the praying and repentance has already been accepted and now Jesus is waiting for you to just sit down and talk to him. Completely, openly and wholeheartedly just speak with him and listen. Sometimes we over think things when we just simply need to sit and speak with him. Just as you would a trusted friend but he is way greater.
  12. No, it is not. That is why we have Jesus. He is the way to heaven. Your questions, thoughts and situations are not yours alone. Many have similar situations as you. My suggestion would be to develop a stronger relationship with Jesus. Speak with him, listen to him, become a close friend of his. The more you do this the better equipped you will be to navigate through this world. This world is filled with many stresses, disappointments and misguided people. Jesus is above it and them all. Man, meaning your father, friends, enemies and even people here on this site, can only give you their thoughts, views and interpretations, but Jesus is above them all. Please take the time to speak and listen with him. He is the way and can give you all you need to endure. Do not only seek him through the bible. Speak with him directly.
  13. This would not be the situations I speak of. It would be my quarrel, even though I was not quarrelling but making it known that a particular individual's behavior has a negative effect on myself and/or multiple others. There were different situations that occurred so I have not pick only one to explain. It just seems that in all these situations, if I speak up for myself or others what is right or according to rules and procedures. Those who choose to do wrong immediately choose to come at me harshly with continued ill behavior or threats. So what I am trying to understand is; Does God want me to do nothing when someone chooses to behave badly towards myself and others? Because if I try to speak on how it doesn't have to be that way, I am confronted or threatened. Neighbor, I thank you for your incite and informative words. The office barrister would be similar to one of my situations but not exact. The employer is not an issue. It would be a fellow coworker. Many have approached the individual and he still continues his ill behavior. Me, being an elect delegate to help in meditation of such issues have attempted to remedy the issue with suggestions only to have been met with a threat. The weirdest thing is I assisted this same individual with a very similar situation where he was mistreated by another in the exact same way. So this individual now has become the abuser of others and when he is approached in trying to correct his behavior, he then turns to threats. So me being a Christian, I am just trying to understand how does God want me to handle such situations?
  14. I am not telling people how to live. People do what they want. I meant if I notice how one individual is negatively impeding upon a multitude including myself, should I not speak on the behalf of the multitude and myself? Should I remain silent and allow myself as well as others to continue to be mistreated?
  15. There have been a number of situations where people have been taken advantage of or mistreated. When I notice these things I am always inspired to help. When I do help, I am always met with threats or negative opposition. I get that we will be faced with opposition but why the threats? This has happened I would say 3 times within the last 4 months. Is God trying to tell me not to stand up for what is right? Is he saying to mind my business and leave people to struggle? I don't understand what it is he wants me to do.
  16. That would be nice, but it is not realistic. We should not blame anyone, Both possess reasoning for blame and both possess reasoning that can be seen as innocent. Man, however will never have the thoughts, reasoning nor knowledge that God has to properly judge/blame. If he is spiritual (meaning has a relationship with Jesus/God), he should get real close to God. There may be many lessons for him to learn and through them he may get comfort, guidance and a better understanding/direction for his life. If he is not spiritual, then maybe he should get to know Jesus. We definitely have influence upon and in everyone's life we meet, both good and bad. Hopefully more good than bad. The full purpose of our encounters, sometimes, we will never know. It's God's perfect plan. God sometimes uses individuals to do horribly wrong, strictly to benefit the ultimate goals of his plan. Ex: Pharoah, Judas, Pharisees and those who crucified Jesus. If it weren't for these individuals, we would not know the Mercy and Grace of God nor The Holy Spirit. Not every wrong is for destruction. It may be a restoration/renovation/renewal.
  17. It can feel weird to wish someone well when they have wronged you, but you should and mean it. Romans 12:19-21King James Version (KJV) 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good You can take the verses literally. I see it like this: You know this person was wrong, God also knows this person was wrong. You did not have to address him because God did, him losing his job. (12:19) By wishing him well and meaning it, you would be obeying God, by showing mercy towards, say an enemy, despite the wrong he has done to you. God likes that. (12:20) God rather you remain good, even when you are done wrong. It speaks to the condition of your heart. (12:21) So feeling bad that Jeremy is going to have difficulties, is a God natured feeling. We shouldn't want harm towards others. However, pray for Jeremy, that he learns the lesson God is going to teach him. Trust that God will handle him accordingly.
  18. Romans 14King James Version (KJV) 14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. 21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. I've said it before. If people would just follow Jesus two Commandments, there should be no need to bicker about minute things. 1)Love God above everything else. Focus on God, making sure to follow him in your walk. 2) Do on to others how you would want them to do onto you. Give respect get respect. Live and let live. Leave Jesus authority to Jesus. Quit judging, condemning, insulting and possibly placing stumbling blocks before others, while definitely placing them before yourselves. Remember each individual will be judged on their own works (not speaking earthly works). It's not based on the works of others. My opinion!!! Stay focused on God!!! Be Blessed!!!
  19. The Spiritual battle is not our war. It is between Satan, his minions and God. Satan tries to use us (in the flesh) to win. To defeat us and God. However, if we are with God we need not fear, for God has already won. So we have been warned that the flesh/carnal things will be used against us. We should understand and accept that. But...... How we can do anything about the Spiritual forces of evil? We stay focused on/in God.
  20. I believe it is. Sadly, I do get upset. Not because I want whatever the promise was, that is actually minute. It's more of how can I trust God if he does not keep his word? I value my relationship with him more than any worldly promise. However, this situation has put a damper on my trust in him. I don't completely distrust him, I know of too many of his great works. Which makes it difficult for me to understand why he would make promises and then not keep his word. (People are so going to misunderstand this and incorrectly judge me even more than they already do, but whatever. I don't worry about Man's view of me, they do not decide my fate nor salvation, nor my relationship with him) Most likely. Trust, patience and stronger faith. I have faith, that is what keeps me seeking him. Well that and the fact that he won't leave me alone (this is a great thing). My faith can be stronger, obviously. Patience I never was good with that. Trust...... I had what I thought was full trust in him, but since he has not kept his promises, my trust is not as complete. I know I fail him in that sense, but I can't understand how to fully trust when the promises are still not fulfilled. I appreciate your reply. Even with having limited information, you have given me things to ponder on. Thank you! Sorry if I have not fully explained myself.
  21. Sorry, there may have been a misunderstanding in the way the OP is displayed here. The above was my Original Post. It actually was my very first entry here on worthy. As a member here knows, when you first come to worthy you can only post and not reply. So the only way I was able to reply was by editing my original post. So anything written after the first paragraph was in response to a few replies at that time. Once again thank you all who reply. I use it all to assist me in my journey.
