About Me

I enjoy posting items of interest that I read to my blog http://billsblogabout.blogspot.com/ ;

I served 20 years in the Army working on helicopters, as a crew chief, and then as an instructor on the maintenance of helicopters.

My wife and I were both saved on the same day in 1978 while stationed in Germany. We had 4 children; we lost our youngest son at the age of 37 in 2010 to cancer. We have 11 grandchildren.

After the Army I went back to college; worked as an Activity Director for a retirement community for 10 years, and worked 11 years for the Washington State School Directors' Association.

My wife Thea have been retire for several years and stay busy with church, friends, fellowship, family and enjoy getting away every once and awhile camping, etc.

We have 2 maltese who are just like family...
